Okay. I wanna make a Star Wars character. Cannot decide for the life of me what I should make first.

I'm using this list for stats and reference, so if you don't know what each race looks like or acts like, use it if you need to. I'm also going to just make these in order of popularity, so they'll all be made eventually.

And just like that, the Prequel Trilogy is finished. There's an interesting parallel here, where in the context of the Original Trilogy, I felt as though each subsequent film was less enjoyable than the previous, whereas in the Prequels, I found myself enjoying each subsequent film more.

Don't ask me to compare that mid-point though. Because while A New Hope was my favorite of the Originals, and Revenge of the Sith is my favorite of the Prequels, Episode III beats IV by a rather hefty margin, to me.

Was it really necessary to kill Christopher Lee that early on though? As if his presence didn't elevate the films to a tremendous degree? It was apparently completely necessary to kill the two most bad-ass actors in the film, rather than saving them for the climax? Yeah? Okay then.

I found the action in the final act a bit empty, but only because by virtue of being a prequel, you know that absolutely no-one will die. That said, obviously Anakin versus Obi-Wan was an awesome fight. I'm a sucker for volcanoes, I'm a sucker for huge orchestral scores backgrounding volcanic activity.

I might have found myself distracted during the whole Utapau thing because I couldn't help but fixate on how much the Varactyl (which I totally didn't Google the name of five-seconds ago) sounded like Dialga from Rise of Darkrai.

After work is Rogue One, I think.

had brainwave yesterday, came up with the next longfic for the plo koon time travel fic. it involves mandalorians, me getting to roll around at length in geological topics for Plot Reasons, and a species-lift for Jaster Mereel bc i want more non-human mandos. I had a surprising amount of fun coming up with background worldbuilding for him, since there's not a whole lot noted on wookieepedia lol.

currently losing my mind,

I’ve been catching up with all the Star Wars stuff that’s come out over the past couple of years and also rewatching some older stuff,

and you know what you have two hyperfixations you will inevitably mix the two ideas together because why the hell not? It’s fun and it makes my brain juice flow instead of stagnating into pools of gross black oil

and I know I’ve also made some posts about this particular cross over in the past, but I have no idea where they are right now and I’m not going to go digging for them

Star Wars x Arcane

First up:

Sevika: I’ve got two ideas and I’m not sure which one I like more.

the first one Sevika is a mandalorian woman who is currently working as a bounty hunter to make ends meet. She’s ruthless but follows her own honor code when it comes to taking jobs. She was formerly a member of death watch but split and went her own path and their ideologies concentrated. She never removes her helmet and tends to get emotionally aggressive when someone tries to pry into her life before being a bounty hunter. (This is a coping mechanism bc she does not like to think about what happened).

the second one is Sevika is a clone like Emerie Karr from Bad Batch, so not only is she struggling with the horrors of war and the complicated emotions that come with being genetically identical to several million people, treated like an object, and devoid of right, she’s also suffering from the accelerated growth rate that causes her to age twice as fast. At the current point of her life she is traveling the universe doing odd jobs and trying to keep a low profile so she doesn’t get taken up by the empire. After all to the imperial’s she is still their property and they will do with her as they see fit. (Not if she has anything to say about it)

next up:

Silco & Vander: start as a packaged deal, they are both ex-inquisitors who fled and went into hiding. It wasn’t so much for noble reasons as it was they began to fear where their paths were going to lead them. They started a new life together and things were going well until their started to have differing opinions on what they needed to be doing which lead to Vander’s betrayal.

Silco: a Nautolan with a blueish gray skin tone. As his eyes are black the scares part of his face lead to the eye clouding over and impairing his vision. In the current day she travels around with Sevika completing jobs with her. They have a very very complicated relationship. (Bonus: they fought over him taking Jinx in the same way a couple would fight over someone impulsively taking home a stray animal)

Vander: a Shistavanen which if you don’t know look like fricken werewolves, he would end up looking something like this:

side note: yes Silco and Vander were in love and that was part of the reason for them leaving. Now imagine a squid fucking a werewolf

I’ve decided to make Powder/Jinx a Twi’Lek which means that Vi is also a Twi’Lek. They are respectively blue and pink. Jinx has some white dappling along her lekku. Vi doesn’t have any such thing but she does maintain her arcane tattoo along her back.

one thing about Twi’Leks is that they are highly sexualized and often enslaved. Jinx and Vi went about fighting against this stereotype in two completely different ways. Vi fights against it, actually building up muscle and training herself to fight.

Jinx on the other hand leans into the sexualized aspect but uses it as a lure to draw people in. She effectly masks how dangerous she actually is.

Jinx is force sensitive while Vi is not. After their falling out Silco finds her and takes her on, eventually taking her on as an apprentice.

Star Wars OC, Sasha Lowell

Half Shistavanen, half old-blood Devaronian, Sasha was raised by her Shistavanen father on the Endor moon, safe to conduct his work remotely. At age 8, her home was raided, her father presumed dead, and shes abducted by slavers. The shipment is intercepted by pirates allowing her a chance to escape, where she then bumps into a Sith lord, who frees her from her bindings and miraculously allows her to live, encouraging/threatening her to run. She survives in the wilderness for some time before coming across a transport ship captained by a Twi'lek single mother, Arainiya and preteen daughter, Kaliyah "Kali". Sasha stows away on their ship and is only discovered after theyve landed on Coruscant. Arainiya decides to take her in and raise her as her own.

Arainiya does transport and shipment work on and off planet, meanwhile has a second job dancing at a night club owned by a terrifying woman named Goura and Goura's small, sweet, and subservient husband. ( They are my own original species called Anglorians, inspired by angler fish respectively. Like the Kalamarians, but hideous blobby angler fish as far as Goura is concerned)

To help make more money, and because of Sasha getting into too many fights at school, she agrees to help make deliveries for the family business until she turns 18 and auditions to dance in the nightclub. She even goes as far as recording and mixing her own tracks sometimes as she gets older (voice claim is Kesha).

Later down the line, she crosses paths with the Sith Lord that once saved her life and offers whatever services he needs to begin to pay him back. She proves herself and he keeps her on call for when he needs eyes and ears, years later he hires her to perform and entertain on his fancy party yachts acting also as a loyal informant.

What's funny about Sasha, is I first created her around 2020 when Hazbin Hotel's "Addict" dropped. So you can imagine my overwhelming joy when Queen Bee debuted in Helluva Boss looking so similar to my girl and of course, being voiced by Kesha, and being the wild party girl.
