made myself a new fursona because i’ve felt disconnected with both birdie specifically and a cat as fursona

so meet shishi, the jerboa!

jerboas are my favorite animals, thus feeling much more connected than cats (tho, cats are still in the top 10 for sure). what also makes shishi feel more connected to me than birdie (who is basically an oc nowadays), is the fact that shishi is in most aspects of design (body shape, eye color, state of teeth, hair style and color, clothing style) very much a much more accurate depiction of myself

#i’m very happy with how this piece turned out #of course i only noticed the things i forgot after deciding it’s finished #like with most of my pieces #in this case forgot the whiskers and pockets on the shorts #or jorts for those educated (see: jorts storm)#how i forgor about pockets as someone who’s afab is a mystery #but maybe at the same time it makes more sense?#anyway hope the internet will enjoy my lovely lil new baby #art #my art #nishi art #nishi rambles #shishi the jerboa #fursona #furry #furry art #furry oc #furry persona
