Today the KII members who had free time picknicked together. That being said, two people couldn’t make it, so we were 17 in total.

It was so much fun playing intense dodgeball. I laughed too much.

Today we tried playing a mass rock paper scissors game, but, as usual, whenever someone says ���the shape with the most people is the winner” , the game turns into a rock and paper game.

Kocchan-sama brought these very rare pizza potato, which aren’t sold anywhere anymore, to the picnic.

When we were noisily spreading the picnic blanket, there was a man walking around wearing a Miyazawa Sae t-shirt sort of far but still close to us. He didn’t notice the noisy 17 KII members at all.

June (2020) Monthly News Round-Up

It’s round-up time! Below the read more is a compilation of some notable news stories that we haven’t previously posted about. This month features, updates to concert guidelines, auditions, and always more!

AKB48

The team has announced that their theater has reopened as of June, but without audience attendance. Their home project/performances will continue in tandem to the reopening. [x*] Additionally Ruka Yamamoto had her graduation on June 28th, with the adjusted audience and presentation. [x*]

Arc Jewel

Arc Jewel, the company behind Jewel☆Neige, Ange☆Reve, and many more has announced two con-current auditions. The company is auditioning teens, and for “Glanz” or scouting for older more experienced idols. [x*]

Hello!Project/ Up-Front

Hello! Project with UP-FRONT have announced details in regards to the H!P summer tour. If all goes well, there might be concerts on July 11, 12, 18, 19 and 25th with guidelines being adheared to with the anti-corona measures. A final decision will be announced on June 22nd. [x*]

Member Yuka Sugai has recently had surgery on the benign tumor on her foot. She had remarked it had grown larger over the years, but now it is removed and she has recovered so she can dance now. [x*]

LAST IN MY CULT

Katsuki has announced her graduation from the group. They also have decided to leave their agency, and becoming a self-produced group. [x*]

L・I・E・P

It’s been announced that former SKE48 Kenkyuusei member, Saki Ishikawa has now been added to the line-up of L・I・E・P or Lucky girl Idol Excavation Project, produced by Sayaka Ichii. Sayaka Ichii being a former Morning Museum member. The group held a pre-debut live on June 23. [x*]

Momoiro Kakumei

The group is among the first to have performed a live performance with an audience. They performed live on June 13th. [x*]

NiziU

The group has confirmed their final member line-up. The members are; Ayaka, Mako, Maya, Mayuka, Miihi, Nina, Riku, Rima and Rio. Their pre-debut single "Make You Happy" was released June 30th. Their official debut will be in the fall. [X]

NMB48

The group will hold separate graduations ceremonies for Natsuko Akashi and Momoka Horinouchi on June 28th. They will be an online pay event for fans. [x*]

Predia

The group has announced that they will be holding an outdoor concert called “No more 3 C’s” on July 4th! Despite the title of the event, they will be following the government mandated guidelines for hosting outdoor events. Being the first of the bigger name idol groups to hold an outdoor event. [x*] They will be joined on stage by their new member, Anon as well.

READY TO KISS

Kisumi Amau has graduated the group as of June 29th. The group has also announced that their is an auction for new members. [x*]

SKE48

The group has restarted performances on June 14th with precautions in place. These performances remain without an audience, the performers on stage will be only 6. [x*] In addition, the group is doing a mix of real and online handshake events. They will be using tablets between the idol and fan, while maintaining social distance, and will only allow prefectural residents to participate. The first of these events will be held in Aichi on July 11th. [x*] Member Kotono Shirai has announced her graduation from the group, with her activities finishing on July 31st. She will have a graduation ceremony if conditions allow. She is pursuing new goals outside of the group. [x*]

STARMARIE

The group has announced they are holding an auction to replace member Kaede Watanabe, who will be graduating in August. [x*]

STU48

Member Nonoka Shintani has announced that she will graduate at the end of July. Her final activities will be on July 12th and 23rd, and then graduate without a graduation ceremony. [x*]

Task have Fun

The group has announced that they will be collaborating with Tsunuku, a long-time collaborator for Hello!Project. They will have a year-long project called “Tsun ♂ Tas ♀”, a camp-fire funded project. This is the former link to the Camp-fire campaign here .

Zettai Chokkyuu Joshi! Playballs

The group has announced that the 2nd Project, I.e. an audition for the second generation of the group has begun. The group is maintaining their original image of baseball and related subjects. [x*]

26-Ji no Masquerade

The group has announced that Karen Nakamura, has been selected as the newest member of the group! She was selected from the original 2000, and then top ten who applied. [x*] Congratulations to Karen, we’re looking forward to seeing her in the future!
