I think the main thing that pisses me off about like 90% of mephiles ships is that people will be like "how old is he??" Look that fanwiki says that he's ten and they RUN with it. Like they don't read further. I'm so convinced that most people don't even know the plot of 06 bc the shit I've seen people draw and write with the characters is just mind boggling.

My unpopular TUA opinion:

1. I genuinely like Viktor as a character but I have a hard time watching his scene lmao. I root for him in season 1 but I skipped a lot of his scenes with Leonard because their relationship makes me uncomfortable and I really want to stab Leonard in the eyes every time he shows up on screen. In season 2 I found his story low-key boring and in season 3 — it's hard to watch the thing with Harlan. I actually agree with Allison on her feelings for Harlan.

2. Sissy and Viktor's relationship is cute... But I'm not a fan of it. Mainly because of the cheating 😭. I know it's an unhappy marriage and they love each other and the husband is a huge dick but still, the cheating still didn't sit right with me (which is another reason why this particular plot is hard for me to watch). I once watched this drama where the male lead married this villain and sneaked with the female lead behind her back and i felt so bad for the villain even though I hate her gut lmao.

3. Allison's character arc in season 3 is horrible and I hate watching her character digress like that but at the same time I think it is kind of justified in a way. I mean, a girl can only take so much before she pops. But it's kind of frustrating that it's OBVIOUS that the whole siblings tried to give her support. Viktor is obvious, Diego took her out to release tension, Luther always looks out for her, and even when she was arguing with Viktor, Five asked Allison if she's okay when she's the one that dropped the not okay words to Viktor. You can't say that the siblings didn't try to be there with her but she still acted selfishly.

4. This is just a minor thing but the way the Sparrow treated Grace will never stop making me feel angry. Like bro, have some respect that is your MOTHER. Or could have been. It's just heartbreaking to see how Grace ended up in the end because we see in season 1 that she could have feelings and the brellies love her but in this timelimes she's being treated like a servant 😭 AND when Diego saw Grace and look so happy and relieved to see her and then Jayme said he's a creep. SHUT UP HE LOVE HIS MOM OKAY.

5. Am I the only one who kind of ship Human Grace with Reggie in season 2? Low-key ship them and it's kind of weird but I like the potential there? And there's chemistry there.

6. Klaus can be annoying sometimes starting from season 2. I LOVE him but sometimes I want to strangle him lmao.

7. Umbrella Ben will always be an innocent precious little cinnamon roll in my heart, but in the show he can be quite horrible lmao. Possessing Klaus without his consent, preaching Klaus with the "Luther would do the same for you" in S1. Like SHUT UP BEN NO HE WON'T.

8. Lila pissed me off so much in season 2 with her relationship with Diego because why was she angry with him? Girl, he did nothing but give you heart eyes, YOU'RE the one that lied to him, betrayed him, and drugged and kidnapped him. SO WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE HE'S THE ONE THE SCREW UP!? "I even introduced you to my mom" GIRL YOU KIDNAPPED HIM. He didn't have a say in that. Stop tripping. And the things she did with Stan, is honestly not okay, wth Lila? (But they do warm up to me in season 3).

9. The romance in the show is not the greatest tbh. I don't actually ship any of the ships in the show (except for Diego and Lila at the end of S3) because they all kind of happen so fast and I felt like as soon as someone gets a love interest, that will be their first priority, their family be damned. And maybe logically this is true (I never experienced love so who am I to know) but I'm here for the family love so to see that happen pissed me off lmao. I understand their actions with their love interest but at the same time GET A GRIP.

Why I like them: He turned out to be a much more complicated character than he seemed to be on the surface. It took me until his literal last scene in the game to realize this but damn if that scene didn't paint all of his actions in a new light. Like yeah he's still a bastard but you saw WHY he became the way he did. How easily it all could have been avoided. How he and Hendrik deserved the chance to move past the lies that poisoned their relationship without him having to be a ghost living in his armor. It hurt in a weird way. He became my first true character hyperfixation and honestly opened my mind to engaging with fiction in a whole new way. No one deserves to be painted in the Crying Lucifer Painting pose more than him lol 

Why I don’t: I will forever have a chip in my shoulder that he didn't get a redemption arc, sorrynotsorry. Even Party Chat tries to desperately downplay the significance of the armor scene if you check it on the now-memorial balcony. On a lighter note the fact I missed 99.9% of the Piers fandom is entirely his fault because I was too busy hyperfixating on him lol. Also, the classism. The classism is bad, mkay? :P

Favorite line: His melodramatic evil speech in the throne room where he lists love first as something he's given up on is hard to beat. Also his final line in the game being "we will never be apart again'...yeah 🥲😭

Favorite outfit: The evil queen ensemble. It's so...very.  Exactly the sort of thing a raging disaster gay that designs his own outfits (according to the character book) that's devoted himself to eeevil would wear. 

OTP: He literally only makes sense as a character if you assume he was extremely, painfully gay for Hendrik and sublimating it in a WEIRD way. And Hendrik certainly showed enough signs of feeling the same way (the way he clutches his necklace to his chest after his death in the first timeline...) Mordegon and Heliodor's toxic monarchy just got in the way... 

Brotp: Jade was apparently just as close to him as she was to Hendrik but the game NEVER EXPLORES THIS AT ALL. Also I think he and Sylvando could have been absolute terrors together lol. And I've always liked the headcanons where he and Mia bond over their shared pain and rage at their (perceived) abandonment. 

Head Canon: Quite a few, so I'll just share one that he wrote the MOST emo poetry as a pining teen, something he will never admit to on pain of death as an adult. I'll also bring up the fact he's successfully taken over the world but still paying for cake as proof he's not as happy as he thought he'd be and eating his feelings about it in Act 2 lol

Unpopular opinion: No one reads deeply enough into him, everyone takes the bullshit he tells himself at face value even when he directly contradicts himself *eyetwitch* I often suspected I was literally the only person right about him lol. Also, the Gay Armor Marriage was incredibly touching, but not enough. He shouldn't have died at all. Also while I've read Jasper/Sylvando fic and enjoyed it before I don't really ship him or Hendrik with Sylv myself which kinda feels like a minority take in this fandom 

A wish: At this point I can only hope he gets the Psaro treatment where his death is avoided entirely when the game is rereleased in like 25 years 

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: I honestly don't want Square to revisit him, they treated him so harshly compared to other villains of the same caliber that pretty much got away with everything so yeah, just leave the angry wet cat man alone guys...

Honestly I am apart of it and you may consider me as "those South Park fans" since I write fanfiction about them . BUT. PLEASE LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY.

I probably won't be able to change all of your point of view but let me explain mine.

I don't not see anything wrong with minors having crushes on the sp boys . Since , who never had crushes in their lives honestly. And I also must say , aging them up and being a minor having a crush on the boys, DOESN'T MAKE IT WORSE. It litteraly could be way worse. Like a adult having a crush on one of the kids or not making them aged up for the fanfictions and stuff. Also i saw a lot of people saying that making them aged up is not a reason to simp for them... But then wouldn't you shouldn't be able to like the PC versions of them too? Since it's only the aged up version of them , yeah it might be in the show but it's still aged up.

Also the ships , i respect all ships , except the proships of course.(and Kyman) everyone has opinions about ships , but going under a Style post to say "Stendy is better" is just stupid asf.(Coming from a Stendy Shipper)

But some of the ships sometimes just don't make sense to me , and I just won't support it . No need to try and push me into liking it as well.

I also understand that some people may still find it weird that there ships of 10 years olds but there's nothing wrong , ships have always existed for every age and it has never been a real problem , and plus it's only innocent and childhood love exist. Though not everything is love , sometimes they just be friends and some people will see that a romantical love.

I also must talk about the Headcanons people make... I apologize if I offend anyone with this but some don't make sense at all.

Like Butters transitioning to Marjorine,I just cannot see Butters as a female when he is literally one of the biggest misogynistic guy in south park he might even be more than Cartman , also scene Kyle , is just kind of confusing since Kyle would NEVER be the kind of guy to be scene canonically..

Stan being a alcoholic is also a little confusing, though I understand it , but i think we all know how Stan would try to be different from his father and drink less. But I agree that it makes sense with Post Covid Stan . Kenny being gay is also very confusing , when Kenny is litterally one of the straightess character , he is shown to like woman during the whole show , so I don't understand why make him totally gay and not even bisexual or pansexual, which would be more logic. I don't have much to say about the way people Headcanon Cartman .

But for Wendy though I have a few things to say , first, some people always make her bitchy which is very very untrue she is a sweetheart and thought she gets very jealous she isn't the type to be mean to other girls her age , like shown with Lisa , she tried to help her.

Also the way some people make Tweek a small femboy bean and Craig a big bad boy 💀 when we all know that Tweek would totally beat Craig's ass whenever he wants...

Ahhhh!!!!!!!! Just finished all 4 seasons of Stranger Things

So here are my thought

Love season 1; the cast are so tiny and young and it really sets up the characters

Love the whole group are exploring and find clues only to meet up later

I can’t for the love of god remember what happens in season 2

At first a didn’t know how to feel about max; really thought she was going to be a side character

Love season 3; but wow the begging half is so slow

A love the scoop troop (robin; Steve; Dustin; and Erica)

I think Steve charges really peaks in season 3. For nance I think from the get go she was a good character (after the whole barb being killed)

My favorite party kids is Dustin, love his dynamic with the teens :)

I also like hopps and Joyce dynamic too! I think they make a good couple; they both have flaws and they kind of make each other better? Get a weird Enemy to lovers vibe from them

Hola i just had a random thought about mixing names together and thought of Chongyun and Zhongli for fun and got... Chongli. I thought it sounded like a ship name but oml if people actually ship them that would be sooooo wrong because like Zhongli is like 5000 and Chongyun is 15? Chongli. Yeah, I've said that accidentally before, because I watched a video on how to pronounce Liyue names and she said the zh is pronounced like a hard ch so me trying o pronounce it correctly, accidentally said chongli. My sister then told me that it sounds like Chongyun x Zhongli.

Chongyun's 17 according to Google, but it is 100% weird to ship Chongyun and Zhongli. The age gap is just weird. Tbf, any human character shipped with an ancient immortal is difficult to judge. So if we're going by age gap, the popular Zhongli x Childe is technically weird, it's just more accepted because Childe, contrary to his name, is an adult(e) and so is Zhongli.

Chongyun on the other hand is a teenager, still a minor/child, so him being shipped with Zhongli even if we ignore the 6000+ years old age, is still wrong, because Zhongli is still an adult and Chongyun is still a child.

How I feel about this character:

He’s my favorite minor character! Part of that is because I have a bad memory, and he was one of the only ones mentioned often enough for me to remember him. But mostly it’s because we got to meet him in MAG 111 and he was tragic and charming and I fell in love instantly. (I think I have a curse that makes me fall for characters who die before the story begins? It’s a trend 😔) I was beyond thrilled to hear more from him this season! I love his weird, dubious relationship with Gertrude.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

JONGERRY RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!! It’s about John being the first person to come to Gerry with kindness free of manipulation!!! It’s about Gerry always trying to save the people in John’s statements!!! It’s about John keeping his promise to burn Gerry’s page!!! It’s about Gerry finally giving John that hot lore!!! It’s about John being the first person to call him “Gerry” because he’s Gerry’s first real friend!!!

@screechfoxes and I were talking about John/Gerry/Georgie recently and that’s really good, too. Or Gerry/Mike Crew where they meet on vacation? At one point I started writing a Gerry/Michael fic where post-Distortion Michael ends up in Gerry’s book with him, idk, I’m down to ship pretty much anything. JonGerry is still king.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

I would love for Gerry to have a single healthy, mutually supportive friendship once in his entire life but unfortunately he’s doomed to be tragic 😭 Anyway I think he & Georgie & Tim would get along really well. And John, obviously.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

I was ranting about him in the TMA Blades discord last week and part of it was about his naivety, which is an underrated aspect of his character in fandom—pre-death, at least, Gerry is much less cynical than I might expect of someone who grew up around so much horror. (Post-mortem is another story.) He strikes me as someone who, hm, “wants to be lied to” sounds harsher than I mean, but to have lived with two incredibly ruthless and manipulative women while believing merrily that they’re doing good in the world takes a certain type of personality. He seems to have easily transferred his allegiance from Mary to Gertrude, both of whom lied to him and others extensively. He’s either overly trusting in general, or (more likely) he wants to believe them because of his relationships with them, to the extent that he ignores the obvious red flags. I like that about his character! We do him a disservice when we portray him as Pure Badass.

ETA: I think part of the reason he’s trusting like this is because he has so much love to give the world and very few outlets for it—demonstrated by the fact that he can’t help trying to save statement givers when he gets the opportunity to, even when he’s on vacation—so when he loves someone like Mary or Gertrude, he willfully ignores the fact that they treat his loving heart so poorly. He deserves people in his life who will cherish and reciprocate his love, but since this is a horror story we don’t have time for that.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

LET JOHN AND GERRY BE FRIENDS! Let Gerry have friends! Goofy hijinks with the Archives crew, please! I also wish we knew more about his young childhood with Mary because that must have had a huge impact on his personality, but right now we can only imagine it & extrapolate based on his teen/adult characterization. Like everyone is free to ship who they want but to me personally it just feels weird to ship them romantically. Especially since Julius probably knew Marx since the latter was around 15 years old (literally a minor!) and watched and helped him grow up into the person he is now. To me they always have been and always will be brothers. I think this also becomes clear in their interactions. Like how Marx is constantly „annoyed“ by Julius but they clearly still care so much about each other <3

I know he isn’t a main character, but sometimes I’d like to know his family history and how his family-like relationship with Julius and Yami and William came to be and just also this falls under the “better in dynamics”😭. Tabs we need a mini series on the Grey Deer please 😭!

Now, I say the “popular ships suck” as in the *cough* Julius/Marx ship 😅. I know some people like it, and that’s fine, but I see them as more Father-Son Older brother-Younger brother type relationship. But if that’s what people want to ship then they can ship it but it’s not my cup of tea 😅.

THIS VERY MUCH NEEDS TO BE DISSCUSED. you do not need to know the horrors that i’ve seen on bbb tiktoks bc they are really too much. you can call the characters handsome or pretty or attractive but PLEASE do not say anything weird like calling them hot or sexy or literally anything that is inappropriate. remember that some of these characters are still minors, and it’s not okay to say anything inappropriate abt them. it’s weird and sometimes borderline gross.

Just don’t ship children what’s wrong with that? Also its a kids show, and when people theorize and think about it too deeply as if its something dramatic. But its a kids show so family friendly and shallow plot is normal.

there is nothing wrong with shipping these characters imo. a lot of people focus more on their dynamic and the relationship that they have with each other which is completely fine. i think there’s nothing wrong with it and no one here is making their relationship sexual in any way which is the thing i think you’re trying to say. while there is some people that are disgusting and do that (specifically talking abt some people i’ve seen in ao3 btw) PLEASE do not let that be the reason for you to tell people to not ship characters. let people ship what they want and let them enjoy things.

and again, with the kid’s show excuse, LET PEOPLE HAVE OPINIONS ON WHAT THEY THINK OF THE SHOW. people aren’t making the plot any more dramatic or too deep, i think that the show does it for us. AGAIN, there dark story lines in the show that can be explored, which is the reason a lot of fans theorize. a lot of the time, yes, the show is family friendly, something for kids, but some people focus more on the darker side of the story.

also again, let people have expectations when it comes to the plot and the writing because bbb galaxy is meant for their young audience before who have grown up a bit. it’s normal that people expect more realistic and better writing even if it is just a kid’s show. let people criticize the writing PLEASE. especially in a negative way. bc sometimes we have to admit it, honestly.

i used to be in the boboiboy fandom but now i just want out bcs honestly the community fucking sucks.

big stans for this fucking fandom are in a delusion where the fandom is like a safe heaven bcs its all nice and "respectful" but in reality its just toxic positivity. The fandom just tries so hard to make it such a safe space to the point where u cant have any negative opinions about the show or the fandom like ever. Event tho its a completely fine thing to have different opinions but ppl take it the wrong way to say that its shitting on a show or were demanding things from the creators.

Ngl its mostly bcs how the fandom tries so hard to be kiss ass to monsta for whetherver reason. Sure its kidda fun having the creators being inclusive in the community itself but its to the point where some people take it too far to care about the feelings of a COMPANY.

I think it originated from the fanimonsta server. For the studio itself they have a set of rules for the employees to abide to. (strictly for employees) which is no shipping the characters what so ever. No nsfw/gore. Mostly need to be family friendly.

Which is totally fine for them to do cuz yeah its for the company. But those rules has somehore ingrained with the boboiboy fandom. Bcs in the fanni server they basicly use the same set of rules, I can understand for a server that consist alot of monstaff the rules make sense. HOWEVER, bcs how big the fanimonsta server influence has on the fandom, alot of fans took those rules outside of the server as well. Even tho they sayyyy its fine if u post ships outside the server for some reason it just feels wrong to post ships? or admit your posting ships?. I've felt like whenever i draw ships and theyre in a slightly nsfw situation it feels like a lot ppl are judging you in the fandom when the post gets blew up. Bcs then you feel paranoid of the creators of the show would look at your art, and ppl talk behind your back.

Thats another thing too when monstaff are so in the circle of the community, you feel like theres no privacy to actually post or talk about fandom stuff. Even if your a small acc with no following, you post and negative opinion, suddenly everyone knows about it. Even the staffs knows about despite not using any sort of tags. It feels so restrictive when your too scared to even open up a fandom talk when large pair of eyes just stalks ur every move. Bcs then those big people/ monstaff would actually give a shit about ur own opinion. Taking it as an insult rather just taking the critism with grace.

The fandom is not a fandom. Its just an extension of monsta the studio. Bcs unkowingly the studio actually controls on how the fandom is like. amd the fans are the ones whos getting chock hold by them bcs they cant have a say on anything or post what they really want to bcs of this weird cult like behaviors with the fans where they think bbb is perfect.

Thats why i hate being in this community. Despite actually enjoying the show and characters, i just cant have a fun in a community that cares so much about what a company fucking wants.
