Metadow - I like the thought of a ‘fake sonadow’ or such, and plus, they sorta compliment eachother. Angry little creatures who are just oh so adorable together. Plus i mean, robot fucker shadow? *yes.*

Metonic - Technical self love on another level i fuck with it SO hard, they’re oddly cute together aswell in the context fics put them in! Plus, metal getting over his issues of thinking hes the real sonic, instead now hes WITH sonic? Its very very nice to me personally :3

Metilver - found a love for this through roleplaying! I adore them, really. There is so much abt them that is just SQUEE. I wanna squish them together like slime balls.

Metphiles - This one i found a love for through other artists in the sonic community here, usually its drawn as NEO and meph but either way works, they’re adorable and they compliment eachother well with backstories and motives, even in the context of meph being done with his reign of terror i LOVE them. This has gotten me brainworms because of my newfound obsession with mephiles as a character and metal already being one of my hyperfixation chars- they just- AA /pos

Metails. (Metal and tails) im sorry i just.. it feels weird to me ig? Tails sees sonic as his brother in cannon (its been mentioned multiple times) so like, the idea of him getting with a robot that thinks he is the same hedgehog tails sees as a brother..? Idk man it gives me weird feelings- thats not to say i HATE IT! I dont. Not at all, i hate sontails but in the context of the tumblr rpc? I might be inclined to test out metails with a perosn or two in the future to see how it goes, i gave metilver a chance, i can give this one a chance aswell.

Metamy. I dont hate it, again. I just.. it feels like it defeats the whole purpose of amy getting her arc? Like getting over her obsession with sonic? Shes been trying to do that for abit in recent media and just, pairing her with the robotic copy of sonic? It both feels like shes A. Reverting back to her unhealthy obsession with sonic and B. Replacing him. Dont get me wrong, though. The art is very cute of these two and i dont hate on it nor anyone who ships it, its just my opinion here.

Oooh Historia plans most of their vacations, but she gives Eren options so he has a say in their ventures, often in the form of brochures or super detailed itineraries. (I get a kick out of the idea of them using their respective fathers' money to fund their globe-trotting escapades, too! lol) They would travel all over Europe, but specifically western Europe. For romance, art, and unique culinary experiences, they go to France (Paris or Nice). For adventure, mountainous escapes, and shopping they opt for Switzerland or Belgium. I also fancy Germany (Berlin) and Austria (Vienna) as another destination for these lovebirds. Only top-tier accommodations of course; five star hotels and fine dining (per Historia!) BUUUUT Eren drags her into the occasional divey pub/bar/beer hall in the Alpine countries because they always have the best selection of booze and it's always a blast. (Lots of dancing and letting loose with the locals!) I headcanon that Historia speaks some German so she's always adored in the motherland lol

What made you ship it? The show's relentless convincing that they actually liked each other and were not just stuck on the act of liking each other. They broke them up so convincingly in season 1 that every time they almost got back together again throughout the show I was annoyed. (Plus I REALLY liked Elliott/Sean.) BUT in season 8 they focused on their actual connection and the way they seemed like they really would be good together (at least now) and so I cried like everyone else at the finale. :)

What are your favorite things about the ship? They seem to like each other, they've got a long, shared history, and the idea of that whole little family staying together makes me happy.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Probably that I mostly preferred Elliott/Sean? Heh.

Wes/Lilah - Ship it though I'm not a hardcore shipper

What made you ship it? They're stupid hot together but there are also real feelings. The signed dollar bill!!

What are your favorite things about the ship? The complication of it. Particularly the points where his ragged moral code smashes into her restless ambition and they change each other and then pull away again. They're a very interesting couple.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't know...maybe just that that ended the way it was always going to, and if I read fic about them, I wouldn't read any where they have a happy ever after in any sort of traditional sense? The best they could've gotten was a (short) lifetime of mostly pining with occasional bursts of happiness when they're together, but the happiness was always going to be somewhat dulled by who they are and what they do. That's what makes them interesting to me.

1. they both are *always* wondering if the other person would rather they were someone else (its not true though, neither of them interact with anyone else with quite the sort of honesty they show to each other (not that bertrand isn’t generally an honest person, he can just allow himself to be a worse version of himself around ernest (beatrice knows he has it in him and wouldn’t care but bertrand cares, he wants to be the best version of himself for her)))

2. i think this is vera’s head canon but they’re pan pals post schism. they send each other letters full of mundane things they wouldn’t bother anyone else with

3. bertrand wouldn’t hesitate to kill ernest if he thought it was necessary. ernest thinks killing bertrand is inherently not necessary. (but that has more to do with their views on morality and the schism than how they feel about each other specifically.)

(now i want to write fic for them delving into their relationship with vfd! probably too much of my brain is plotting witcher fic and i really really want to write two other asoue things first… but we’ll see)

i said previously how much i love unrequited love so like, this ship is a gold mine. unfortunately i, like shen jiu, cannot abide a spineless man so like. literally all yue qingyuan has to do is open his mouth for once in his life and resolve how mad shen jiu is ............. i want to shake him. the miscommunication makes me CRAZY (shen jiu did nothing w-- [is dragged off stage]) i like my ships to have deep seated traumas but. like. please ..

watching them revolve around each other like giant planets, forever orbiting but forced to stay at a distance less they destroy each other in a fit of orbital decay.... the reflection of light off their surfaces forever blinding them to each other. it is very romantic ...

as for an au for them. a parent trap au would be so funny even if i could not for the life of me be forced to read one or plot it out. can you imagine???? terrible gremlin children trying to lure their forlorn (yue qingyuan) and grumpy (shen jiu) together.

probably a suitably angsty time traveler's wife type AU oh no!! spirited away type au where shen jiu and yue qingyuan have to rely and grow to like each other and shen jiu realises yue qinyuan is his old childhood friend who disappeared unaccountably when they were younger and shen jiu briefly thinks that hey! this time he can save qi-ge, but instead it turns out yue qingyuan was never meant for the human realm (maybe he can be a river spirit too) and after shen jiu is freed of whatever bathhouse contract equivalent yue qingyuan can't go with him when shen jiu has to leave the spirit/fantasy world and shen jiu can't stay. very bittersweet and angsty. maybe a little bit of hope, at the end with shen jiu visiting the river enough times he gets to see or hear yue qingyuan again during a sunshower or something.

or for MAXIMUM ANGST it's shen jiu who is the haku-metaphor and barely remember yue qi but knowing he's missing something and when yue qi gets spirited away he's surly but helpful towards him and when yue qi finally releases shen jiu of his curse yue qi still leaves hUAHAH (he has to, he's human, he cant stay) and yue qi remembers the boy he played with by the river of course but he'd kind of thought the boy was an imaginary friend because even when they promised to stick by each other's sides, whenever yue qi had returned to the river shen jiu was never there again. so yue qi gets the guilt of forgetting shen jiu and shen jiu gets to feel abandoned! there. perfect parallels.
