Moonflower really can be quite cute! It also has some angst potential, if you like that kinda stuff!

I can see how all the mains would get along well enough to start getting feelings, so not my cup of tea, but it does sound like it can be sweet!

In all honesty, I’ve never heard of Scraps x Poppy before, but now that I think about it, they’d be a cute pair!

Finn x Goob x Shrimpo sounds really cool! I’ve only heard of ragebait (Finn x Shrimpo) and angryhugs (Goob x Shrimpo), but pairing those two together into one, plus the Finn x Goob (who go quite well together) because it’s a poly relationship makes it better!

i've never really cared for travlyn. even after their development, i just. didn't care? that much? i just don't feel anything strongly about them. i think id rather them not end up together. i like them both as characters but ive never been attached to them as a ship. i only ever shipped it because it was one of The Main Ships in the fandom. but now ive grown up and i realized YEAHHH I LOVE NON CANON RELATIONSHIP DYNAMICS!!!! IM ALLOWED TO NOT SHIP A CANON SHIP!!! IM FREE!!!!

All of the crackships in this fandom give me joy. It's like free samples in an icecream shop. Sure some of the flavors may taste bad but hey, pistachio is not for everyone I guess. Some people also have peanut allergies so very nutty out of the box ships may be out of the question but eyyy, still there.

kacey should've been aphmau's second love interest in pdh s2, not ein. the love interests should've been kai and kacey. see, it even has a ring to it! kai or kacey? alliteration. so marketable.

meanwhile, ein should've been the deuteragonist-turned-villain of the show and (at least spiritually) aphmau's younger brother (but still very protective like an older brother and suspicious of the other boys in her life and their motivations. this would lead to a lot of conflict and paranoia, as well as some excellent yaoi potential).

all it would take are a couple of tweaks and everything would've been so much better. you can keep a lot of the plot points that have nothing to do with einmau unchanged as well, such as the alpha and omega thing. and just like that...

I have to confess that part of the reason most Aphmau ships (as in the character, specifically MCD Aphmau) are toxic is not just limited to bad writing, but the fact that she is Irene.

It's hard to think that everyone heard she was Irene and just went 'oh, okay' and treated her the same the whole time after. Some characters have the strength to do that, but not all of them do and they have their own written reasonings. That's not really something you can just brush over, regardless of how you found out. Whether you were there to hear it said, heard it from Aph herself, or inferred somehow based on the strength and magnitude of her powers, it's gonna mess you up!!!

A lot of Aphmau's more intimate relationships most definitely have some sort of imbalance of power and/or religious trauma associated with them post-Irene reveal (and in general with Aphmau as a lord, that imbalance kind of exists anyways? Since most of her love interests are her guards). Aphmau/Irene has been a good person in many aspects, but she also has flaws that've deeply hurt other people.

To know that the literal Goddess of your region has wronged you in some way is scarring.

...That's not gonna stop me from shipping her with people though, the spice is irresistible.

As someone who has previously trauma dumped into your inbox, my sincerest apologies.

Anyways I think people in this fandom need to remember the concept of a crack ship and furthermore the fun of taking a crack ship seriously. I'm talking about two characters who have never even shared time in the narrative together should be shipped together, and you should take it just as seriously as you'd take any other ship in this fandom.

Aarmau wasn’t that bad and everyone is just really dramatic

I was rewatching and realized Aaron showed up way earlier in the series than everyone will lead you to believe. It wasn’t an immediate romance as it was with say, Laurence, they developed pretty well. I have loved Aarmau for almost ten years now and I’ll stand by that. Rewatching, I love Garmau now as well, but Aarmau was perfectly fine and a healthy relationship.
