22. A song you think suits the Tintin series or a particular character?

Not in English (sorry!) and technically not for a single character but Simplement Amigos by Yanfourd is a great Haddotin song lol it's about two people that have to pretend they're just friends because they know others won't accept them being in love with each other (it's like the peak gay angst song really)

Otherwise, I always giggle when listening to Kapitän by Elfmorgen, because I can imagine Haddock singing the chorus (roughly translated it means "When I'm grown up / I want to be captain / On the MS Kiss My Ass") either when he's drunk or as a young man

Okay but they are married, don't tell me otherwise.

Before Haddotin, I shipped Haddock with a few other characters. One of which was/is Mike (or Mateo, or even Matt, as he has also been called). Like, gaddayum, Sir had no business being this fine 😤 ❤️‍🔥

And I had so many ideas for their ship-arc, including a full animatic music video thingy. I imagined Haddock sort of like "secretly" crushing on him but also being intimidated by how ✨️fine✨️ he is, so he doesn't know how to flirt or express his affection. Meanwhile Mike starts out suspicious of him, like, probably has some relationship trauma and other logical reasons for his trust issues, but then slowly realizes that Haddock is genuine, there is no ulterior motive to his kindness, he's just a good person AND doesn't know how to navigate his quite obvious crush on Mike, so .. Mike eventually warms up to him.

But then Tintin finally admits to himself that he has feelings for Haddock. He's denied it for a long time, but musters up the courage to go tell him. But then he finds him with Mike and is heartbroken. Haddock doesn't understand why he's so upset, until Tintin hesitantly confesses his feelings to him.

And long story short, Haddotin slowly yet fairly quickly becomes a thing, but it's a lot of ups and downs for a while with Haddock being insecure of how they might be perceived.

Also, I had some fun with drawing some silly scenes where Mike would sort of snoop around and be jealous of Tintin, to the point of becoming a bit possessive of Haddock and kind of having to be shooed out, kind of like he pops up randomly like a scorned cat scowling at them 😅

Hello! I'm in a writing rut! So I decided to redo a version of the AO3 Under 2K Fic Challenge I did a couple of years ago. I wrote out 14 prompts and will draw them from a hat.
