Sorry if it's not a Rinmeikan ship ask, but do you have any headcanons for Akira x Shiori relationship?

I am fully okay with not a rinmeikan ship ask I love Akira x shiori anyways. I’m on my phone so sorry for bad formatting and no read more

-It takes a long time for them to be together because akira is oblivious to love and gay and even then she is very awkward and stiff without a script to use

-Akira also didn’t realise she had a crush until she went to the nurse and was like I am feeling ill, my chest is beating irrationally, I’m getting more parched despite my water intake what’s wrong with me? And the nurse is like nothings wrongs sweetie but you’re gay and Akira is like what?

-Akira doesn’t believe her until she came back to the dorm where she had a herbal tea Shiori made waiting for her because she was worried and Akira’s heart was like oh. Maybe I do have a crush

-Yachiyo first helped because it would be fun and very easy to do also the gossip will be interesting. But then she realised she bitten off more than she can chew ie hide this from both Mei Fan and Michiru but doesn’t/ can’t leave because it’s god damn Akira also she has a soft spot for Shiori.

- Yachiyo being a wingwoman to akira is hilarious as fuck

-Akira goes to Fumi and ask for permission to court Shiori old school style because that’s what the plays do right? Fumi lets her because somehow Akira shown how serious she is dating her sister (even though she told her that Shiori is her own person she doesn’t need my permission)

- When Akira makes plans with Yachiyo to ask Shiori out a script is involved lmao. Akira brings Shiori to the roof of the school and shows how amazing and beautiful everything is. Akira tells her that once an edel member shows promise, Akira brings them to this rooftop and shows them what it is like being a Frau Platinum and like to engrave the moment in your heart for this is what you want to achieve etc etc. This amount of brilliance. Then Akira goes quiet and says that this is how she sees you to Shiori. Shiori is like what but Akira continues her confession, maybe going a bit off script. Shiori tells her that she needs to think about it.

- Following the confession. Shiori is putting in Fumi’s number and praying that it didn’t change and asking for help from her big sister because she’s so lost and confused and Fumi going through with it. When they talk Shiori expected Fumi to tell her no, didn’t expect a yes. She doesn’t know if she’s good enough for Akira. Fumi recounts how Akira came to her and asked permission to date her prompting her seriousness. They have a talk at a cafe and they have a hug and pretend that the stage doesn’t exist for a bit and that for now they’re just two sisters who need help. Fumi telling Shiori that she can come to her for advice about this. After this talk Shiori tries to find Akira alone to respond to her feelings. She says yes and they both agree to take it slow because they’re new and awkward at this. Yachiyo claps in the distance when they softly hug

- when they do get together nothing really changed and nothing is very obvious. (Because it’s a secret to rest of school and edels) It’s subtle for the sake of privacy and so that the dynamic between the edels doesn’t change. They also don’t do pda anywhere in school (par like the occasional handholding in dates and kisses) which is fine because both of them are too embarrassed or have a high reputation. It’s all more private relationship.

- They do go out on dates except they’re not framed as dates and are seen by everyone else as Akira just hanging out like she always does with other members and that she just lets Shiori chose.

-Example, there is a new fish exhibit in the aquarium, shiori wants to go but everyone else is busy. Akira steps up and they go together. Nothing new or strange at all. No she doesn’t hold her hands when they walk around but she lets Shiori cling onto her arm in excitement when they watch an event. Akira doesn’t smile a lot or blush but spends more of her time looking at Shiori being happy and excited than the fishes. Akira doesn’t buy Shiori lunch or a plushy she was eyeing at the shop but she buys her special food to feed the animals, ice cream and the special Aquarium thing to meet the penguins or otters or whatever is there.

-Akira shows her affection, subtly and awkwardly. She will not be bold like Maya can be and profess in sonnets and ballads for she had a reputation to uphold. She will of course make sure Shiori is doing fine and be a bit less harsh in her judgments. Shiori can sleep on her whilst she’s reading a book and that’s fine with her. She might whisper proses and poems to help her sleep (of course not only reciting but she will make them up as she goes which makes Shiori even more blushing).

-Rose poems. They sing that together a lot

-Akira also shows her feelings more through actions than words, often being really considerate of Shiori.

-What Shiori doesn’t get for a while until she does after they date for a couple months is that Akira does things with 100% of her effort. So Akira is putting her whole heart and 100% of effort into loving Shiori and it makes her so flustered when she realised that

- there’s only one time she blushed really hard thanks to Shiori before the rest of the edels knew. All of them was in the theme park but Shiori can’t go on the spiny rides due to her consitution so Akira offers to stay behind and looks after her whilst everyone else goes on the spiny rides. They head to the game booths and Shiori spots a horse plushy she desperately wants at a booth. She gets it in the second throw but she doesn’t win. She gets it again in the third throw but doesn’t win. (Rigged games trope)

Akira is furious that Shoiri been cheated on by a scam. Akira angerily tries and gets it in all three goes. The first time she got it in and won but she continued to make the point clear. Shoiri hugs her and grabs the plushy and when they go get something to drink, Shiori makes the plushy kiss Akira on the lips because she’s too embarrassed to do it herself. (Because before she kissed Akira on the cheeks and Akira broke- she didn’t blush but she didn’t move for like 2 minutes and was very vacant) akira not only broke but she blushed a bit because of how cute Shiori was and looked away. She also wants to kiss her but she doesn’t know how and she doesn’t know if they will be seen. Shiori thinks she did something wrong or moved too quickly but Akira quickly assured her that she’s fine by getting a hold of herself and telling herself off for hesitating and kisses Shoiri. “If you’re going to kiss me Shoiri, you have to do it properly for I expect nothing less from an Edel.” (they kiss and it’s gay)

-When the edels do find out they become more open within the group and affectionate. Akira laughs more and Shiori becomes a bit more confident

-When Its their anniversary date, all the girls pitch in to make it be really special aka Yachimei (who coincidentally got together) picking out Shiori’s dress whilst Akira has her hair done by Michiru and gets some dating advice

-They’re both blown away by each other and its really amazing to the edels to see their leader become undone and flustered at the sight of just Shiori standing there looking beautiful as hell
