Shiny golbat after 6,629 random encounters, second phase for medicham

day 2216 Golbat. In my somewhat recent replay of LeafGreen after not having played it since childhood, I happened to capture a shiny zubat, making it the 2nd shiny pokemon I ever encountered, the first being a shiny geodude in Diamond. While I ultimately didn't take it with the league to me, it was the first time I actually kept and used a golbat as a part of my team, which was a nice change of pace from the defaulting Pidegot and Fearow that I'd usually go with. And granted, I seemed to have a poor GBA SP screen cause the shiny color appeared 'black', but upon looking at other pictures, it seems to be green. But black looks good so I stuck with it.

That's reason i got interested to catch shiny pokemon big brother goes happy found shiny pokemon appeared well. Before complete pokedex then got shiny charm.

Now, i became first beginner shiny hunt.

Honestly, early i'm going to shiny breeding eggs after first time completed alola pokedex but i don't really have times what should do after i got shiny charm first time, i'll just... Really wanted bringing Shiny Rowlet again after mistake GTS years ago ...Just what i want. I’ll remember a first caught shiny pokemon: Flabébé Orange Flower when due Melemele Meadow SOS Battle. I just really looking Flabébé White Flower.

Pokemon: Shiny vs. Default, 0041-0042

Alright, time for everyone’s favourite Cave Annoyance, the Zubat line. Well, two of them, anyway. Despite its infamous reputation as a Pokemon that mainly exists to be really irritating in every cave ever, Zubat is actually well worth training... provided you get it after it learns Bite and in a game where it can actually evolve all the way. In Kanto itself, though? Yeah, maybe not.

Still, I quite like Zubat (Even if I’m rapidly running out of Batfamily members to name mine after), and I’m don’t hate seeing it as much as others do.

Let’s begin with Zubat itself.

Aaaaand it’s green. Is it a good shade of green? Not really. are the other colours good enough to make up for it? No. Default wins.

And we’ll finish off today with Golbat.

In order to not just go “Green bad, default wins”, I’ll talk about Golbat itself a little. I dislike it significantly more than Zubat, personally. Yeah, Zubat’s more infamous due to its early appearances but Golbat’s design is worse, its sprites are worse (remember the Tongue Sprite?), but its stats are better, so it’s harder to get rid of. Also having a Golbat is basically just a game of “Do you love me yet?” until it finally turns into a Crobat. But, uh, green bad, default wins.
