not something I’ve given much thought to… though I do headcanon that Kouichi does some really nice calligraphy probably because of his grandmother and his mother’s expectations and wanting to make them happy/proud. also there is a popular fan canon that Kouichi likes to read because of that one dream sequence thing, so Kouichi’s handwriting could be very like, very meticulous looking? in regards to kind copying printed text

… but actually yes at the same time he would totally have messy doctor handwriting. I mean handwritten Japanese is probably hard to read in the first place, and because of the age there isn’t really a need for handwritten things. so when Kouichi is in a hurry it’s all “SCRIBEBFLESCRIBELSBEBESCRIB”

I haven’t written you in a while, I’m sorry. How are you supposed to keep up with the family gossip if I don’t write? Anyway, Remember how I told you about that world I found? Full of monsters and other stuff? It turns out it’s real, maybe that’s where you are somewhere. Reborn as a digimon.

It also turns out that Haru-nee is a guardian of that world. She fused with her partner and became a powerful angel. Watching over the human child that arrived in her sector. That’s why I think you might be there somewhere. 

One of the children she watched over, was a kid that died. }

The letter rambled on a bit more, covering every topic Ken could think of, before it was finally sealed and lit on fire. While it lay innocently on Osamu’s gravemarker.

He didn’t care that the child was a literal baby in his arms, Ken was going to treat this child like they understood every word. “Also your mama has a cat hanging around, white, can talk. She fuses with the cat and becomes a giant angel woman, very beautiful. But don’t piss her off.”

haven’t thought about this character much, but I headcanon he and Kouichi must have had a talk in the world of the dead / afterlife at one point lol

other ideas I have revolve around having his major sin be pride

At that, he paused, breathing deep. He shouldn’t complain, it only makes Osamu upset. But….

“I’m not complaining, Osamu-nii…I’m just…loudly wondering why things are the way they are. Why do we always go to the same clubs? Why can’t I walk myself to school?”

He swallowed, this was the most important part. “I’m basically an adult now, I should have friends outside the family.”

“I won’t get hurt.”

Under his pillow is a pocketknife, a gift from an old friend that sees very little use.

In the middle desk drawer is a retractable whip. Simple. Looks like a short baton when the length is retracted.

Fun fact. Ryo has the same exact type of weapons in his room. Though they see much more use than Ken’s.

After introducing Kenneth’s ..... are they boyfriends? Bed-mate. After introducing Osamu to his little brother’s bed-mate (and after that enlightening game of Cards Against Humanity), Ryo stole Osamu away for that ice skating date he promised.

Currently, he was lacing up his skates at the bench. “So....now that Ken’s not here, have you ever actually skated before?”

“I’m tired of being numb and desensitized.” Ryou said, face empty of emotion as he left his battle stance and put his whip and digivice away. He flagged Cyberdramon down, faintly glad that his partner had apparently had enough of a fight this time.

“I’m tired of killing before I go on with life like nothing happened.” He carefully examined the digimon, looking for any wounds. When he finally turned to Osamu, it was with a tired smile.

“But I guess that’s what happens when you’re a child soldier.” He paid no mind to the fading pixels of digital matter from the kills he and his partner made.

They love Ken, really they do. But sometimes, Osamu and Ryou just wanted some privacy to do whatever they wanted. They usually snuck away to Ryou’s apartment for that.

He had been excited on the way to his home, but his energy drained somewhere between the first kiss and the second. Apparently Osamu had also been more tired than he originally thought. Which led to them bundled up under the covers of his bed, pressed close and gently snoozing,

When Ryou woke up first, he made an effort not to wake Osamu and just continue cuddling. The glasses wearing genius never did get enough sleep as far as he was concerned.

Okay, talking about @shinpai-shite‘s Wheelchair AU, or as it’s known on this blog, Two Kaisers For The Price of One (aren’t I clever? *sarcasm*)

and basically Ken stays in the base doing coding and running the empire most of the time, letting Osamu run around and enjoy his legs

so when the Chosen appear, Osamu’s the one they see, Tri Kaiser outfit with slicked back hair in a ponytail, looking so suave, and Ken and Osamu are basically on mic with each other the whole time. Wormmon’s by Osamu’s side constantly since Coronamon hadn’t been found by that point (I think? can’t remember quite well)

so the Chosen have no idea there’s really Two Kaisers, they just think Osamu is friggin awesome at multitasking, which, I mean, he is, but that’s not the point

it’s not until one of the battles ends up with Osamu hurt, THEN Ken storms over there in quiet rage because his already broken brother got hurt and he’s pissed

and daisuke has a nice whip shaped bruise from that encounter

tbh that’s probably when they also realize that the brothers are the kaisers because srsly, 

        “OSAMU-NII!! I’M GONNA KILL HIM!!”         “Ken, no! Get back to base! No killing, just get me home.”

or something like that
