Ever since Nezuko conquered the sun, she was required to stay at the Butterfly Mansion for the safety of herself and basically the whole of humanity. On one hand, she got a bit upset since she couldn’t accompany her brother during Hashira training. But on the other hand, she was glad that she could stay with you. You were almost constantly training ever since then due to the prediction of having a huge battle with Muzan soon. On this particular day, you were doing physical training in the garden while Nezuko accompanied you. You often wrapped bandages around your AHEM *coughs* badonkers while you train. But maybe you didn’t tie them well today, because while you were doing weightlifting exercises with boulders, a bit of the bandages started to come off, exposing slightly more of your AHHHHEM *cough cough* (sorry I caught covid haha) badonkers. That didn’t go unnoticed by Nezuko. She watches as your b-b-b-b-boobs heaves up and down as you try to control your breathing, and they managed to pique her curiosity. You leaped into the air as you dodged the wide-ranged attacks of Mitsuri’s flexible sword. When you tried to rush in and land an attack yourself, you were blocked by her own. You consecutively blocked each other’s attacks at extreme speed. You noticed how your reflexes improved a lot since the last time you spared with Mitsuri and urged yourself to focus and do even better. But as you were concentrating so much, Mitsuri it was actually losing concentration. Her eyes travelled towards your chest, exposed by the semi-buttoned shirt. She started to get lost in her thoughts as she watched your boobs moved along with your attacks. Kyaaaaaah they look so nice! N-no! You have to focus! And now that you were back on your feet, you had to begin you rehabilitation training. On the training grounds of Butterfly Mansion, you began practising your swordsmanship skills on the training dummies, slashing them with your wooden sword while using Total Concentration Breathing, until the dummies broke from the impact. Despite being bedridden for so long, you had improved your skills and had become much stronger than before, Shinobu could tell that. From her spot on the engawa of the Butterfly Mansion, she observed you training. She had always admired you, you were always training with extreme concentration, striving to become stronger so that you could save more people. Not to mention, you were also really pretty. Shinobu watched as you continuously slashed the training dummies, until she caught sight of your chest. They way they move along with your arm movements mesmerise her. “Oh! Kocho-sama I didn’t realise that you were watching me! Am I doing alright?” Hearing her name getting called from you snapped her out of her thoughts. “You’re doing great, keep it up alright? I’m… just here to make sure you don’t hurt yourself again.” You smiled widely at her before returning to your training. Even though she said she was making sure you don’t get hurt, but you already knew the actual reason why she was here.

Tamayo

Tamayo sat at her desk, scribbling notes about her recent demon blood research. You, on the other side of room, were doing exercises. Every once in a while, she would pause her research and watch you work out with her cheek on her hand. You look so captivating when you work out that it sometimes distracts her from doing research. The way sweat beads trace down your forehead and cheeks. And the way you try to catch your breath. She doesn’t show it, but she secretly enjoys watching you work out a lot. You leaned against the wall to catch your breath while fanning yourself. Even with the windows open, you’re still struggling to cool down, so you reached up to your shirt and unbuttoned the first few buttons of your shirt, revealing a bit of your cleavage. Tamayo’s purple eyes widened at the sight of it. Getting lost at the sight of it rising up and down as you breathe. Your sharp senses noticed Tamayo’s gaze which led you to turn your head to face her. You lightly chuckled in response. “That’s all good! But hey, that research is important. It’s for that one red haired boy, right? You should get the majority of it done first. Daki

At the base of the Infinity Castle, you decided to spar with Gyutaro for fun. As you two exchanged Blood Demon Art attacks, Daki sat on the sidelines observing the playful battle between her brother and her beloved. You leaped from platform to platform to dodge Gyutaro’s attacks. But when you land on the floor, the hem of your yukata began to slip and expose your cleavage slightly. Daki noticed almost immediately and fixed her eyes on your badonks. You landed a final blow towards Gyutaro, causing him to fall backwards. “That was fun. Though it seems like your skills had been a bit off lately.” You spoke lightly with a hand on your hip. “Is that so? Then I think I need to do more training with you.” The black-and-green haired demon responded as he got up and went to grab something to drink. You turned to Daki and found her sitting at the very edge of the stairs, head forward and eyes focusing somewhere on you. You followed her gaze towards your yukata. It all began the fateful day Mitsuri's lively presence collided with yours. Quite literally collided, because the girl was dashing through the Ubuyashiki Estate, late to the Hashiras meeting, only to smack into a crash that was entirely her fault. Your drive to protect humans that seemed to render you immune to the pain of your injuries, that laser-focused look in your eye as you stared a Lower Moon down and trusted her to deliver the killing blow in time, before the monster decapitated you first. When the battle was over and adrenaline started to die down, your wounds caught up with you. You collapsed forward, but she was there to catch you, gently lowering you to the ground.

“You could have retreated as soon as I arrived.” she stated, staring deep into your eyes, perplexed. 

“Hey, I’m fine. S’all good.” you drawled, dizzy from the blood loss. “Please, don’t be angry. We won. Won’t you give me a smile?”

“I am.” she answered. 

“A real one?” 

Right then and there, you stunned her. Shocked her. You, who met her that night for the very first time, saw through her carefully constructed mask that fooled even her closest associates. But for that one moment, gazing upon your relaxed face, she almost forgot her constant, burning anger. 

And she smiled down at you for real.

You and Shinobu continued on your way to the butterfly estate. When you got there, Shinobu brought you to a room and made sure to give you a pitcher of water and a cup to drink from. While Everyone began the Hashira training, you would be in your room, collecting your saliva and tears. Shinobu gave you a bowl to cry and drool into. The plan was to mix your healing tears and saliva with medicine so that the swordsman of the corps would have a better chance at survival. Once the drool/tear mixture was mixed with pain relieving medicine, it would be bottled into small vials.

You laid on a bed with your face hanging over one of the sides. You struggled to drool and cry so Shinobu suggested that you think of sad things in order to cry and tasty food or bite your tongue to drool. You thought back to how everyone could or would die when fighting Muzan. You thought of losing everyone. You thought about them defeating Muzan only to die from their marks or wounds. You thought of how you would end up all alone again. Without realizing it, you began to cry. You bit your tongue, causing your mouth to water and drool to seep out into the bowl.

You don’t know how long you had continued to cry and drool for because you had cried yourself to sleep. When Shinobu entered the room, she saw you were asleep. Looking down she saw that you had filled the bowl a decent amount. She picked up the bowl and brought it to Aoi who began to mix it and bottle it. As you slept, you found yourself back at that mountain where you met the man who taught you to use your blood demon art. You walked up to the house and found him inside. You went and sat next to him. “I can tell you are upset, what causes you to be sad?” He asked. You looked up at him and laid your head on his thigh.

“All my friends are gonna die. Even if they beat Muzan, they die from the marks” you said. You sniffled as you tried not to cry. “I see. You must not have known this, but you possess the ability to negate the effects of the demon slayer mark. Just as you healed the Ubuyashiki’s of their curse, you can heal your friends. But it will come with a cost. Once you heal them, they can no longer use breathing techniques other than the basics. If they do, if they use breathing styles after being healed, their marks will return, and you won’t be able to fix them.” He spoke.

You looked up at him from in his lap. “I can save my friends? How does I do that?” You asked. “The same way I taught you before. Focus on your intent to heal, channel it into energy, and then focus that energy on your friend and release it.” He told you. You thought on it for a moment, memorizing the information. You then realized something, “how you know all this?” You asked him. The man smiled and gentle pet your head. “Because I knew your mother. She wanted to bring life into the world instead of taking it. When I met her, she had been trying for a long time to have a child but was unsuccessful. She suspected that she needed something for her cells to bond to, to fuse with, so she asked me if I knew anyone who would be willing to donate genetic material for her cells to fuse with. I didn’t really see an issue with it, so I said yes.” He spoke.

He held a solemn look on his face despite his usual lack of emotion. “It must have taken many years for her to successfully create a child. One who was half human and half demon without her body attacking the child. It would seem as though she gave her life in order to create one.” He told you. “I had a mama? Who she?” You looked up at the man expectantly. He just looked down at you and softly smiled. “Her name was Minako. Minako Kibutsuji.” Your eyes widened recognizing that name. “You have the power to fight Muzan and defeat him, she made sure of it. We believe in you. It seems as though our time is up” he said as the world around you began to fade.

You looked around you at your fading surroundings. You still had one question on your mind. “Who you?” You asked. “My name is Yoriichi Tsugikuni” was the last thing you heard him say. What you didn’t hear him say was that he was your father. He smiled as he knew that you wouldn’t be returning. He was happy to have met his child. He and Uta hadn’t been able to have their child and live together. You would never replace his unborn child that died, but he still thought of you as his own. He loves you just as he loves Uta and his unborn child. He was happy that you had friends, he just hoped that you would be able to do what he couldn’t.

When you woke up, you were faced with a beautiful woman who had purple eyes and black hair. She smiled gently at you as you stared at her. “Hello little one, my name is Tamayo, it’s nice to meet you.” She said. You were curious as to who this lady was as you didn’t recognize her. “Ah, y/n, it seems you’ve met our guest. Would you like to help us make medicine? You’ve already supplied us with plenty of your saliva and tears.” Shinobu asked. You remembered what the man had said and it filled you with an intense desire to train. “I go train” you said. You got up and left the room. You began to head straight for Gyomei’s estate in the mountains as you wanted to be strong like him.

“Oh my, I wonder what’s gotten into them?” Shinobu said. “It could be that they realized who they really are.” Tamayo said. “And what would you mean by that?” Shinobu asked. “They are the offspring of Kibutsuji’s sister. They are the key to defeating Muzan Kibutsuji.” Tamayo informed Shinobu. Shinobu’s eyes widened as she wasn’t expecting that. She quickly made sure to inform the master of this new information. Unaware that Kagaya had known this all along. His family had been watching over Minako while she was alive, but after giving birth, they didn’t realize that she had died in order to bring life into this world. Kagaya had ordered each of the Hashira to carry two vials of your healing elixir on them. That way when the time came to fight, they would have the ability to heal fatal injuries, twice.

You continued on your way to Gyomei’s estate when you met up with Genya. You walked with him to Gyomei’s estate and were determined to get beefy like Gyomei. When you saw Gyomei you ran over to him and grabbed onto his legs. “Teach me be super strong like you!” You shouted as you looked up at him. Gyomei tilted his head down, as if he were looking at you. “I do not know if that is wise little y/n. But your sentiment is very much appreciated. Namu amida butsu. Such a kind child.” Gyomei spoke. You frowned as you wanted to be strong enough to help your friends.

When Gyomei left, you tried to stand under the waterfall but got washed away immediately by the river’s current. Genya had to save you and forbade your from going back to the waterfall or the deeper waters. You saw some other people were carrying logs and running with them so you tried to do that. You tried to lift a log and managed to lift it above you, you called to Genya who was shocked, but he quickly became horrified when the log slipped from your fingers and trapped you under it. Genya had to stifle his laughter as you looked kind of like a beetle squirming with your arms and legs in the air. Genya lifted the log off of you and decided that he would help you since you were determined. He set up a small training area for you.

Gyomei observed from the shadows as you struggled to lift rocks that were tied to ropes over a branch. You struggled to carry small logs on your shoulders as you ran. Everything you attempted to do, you struggled with. This caused Gyomei to cry as he was both worried about you yet moved by your determination. It took weeks but finally you were able to lift the rocks that were tied over a branch. You were able to run with the logs on your shoulders. Some of the other demon slayers were amazed at your determination and strength.

When Tanjiro arrived, you decided you were ready to try the waterfall again. Straining the muscles in your legs, you walked through the river’s currents and stood beneath the waterfall. You copied the other demon slayers and stood beneath there. What you didn’t realize was that your body was physically changing, transforming to adapt to what your were putting it through. Tanjiro was amazed and congratulated you on what you had accomplished. You smiled at him and continued to train. You and Tanjiro trained together and progressed through Gyomei’s training. Unaware of Gyomei observing you both.

After some time, Tanjiro had managed to push his boulder through a village just as Gyomei had instructed him to. You were still struggling since you were half of Tanjiro’s height. When Tanjiro left, he said goodbye to you before leaving. You stayed with Genya and began working on your blood demon art. Genya helped you by creating multiple dummy targets out of wood for you. You both trained, him on his aiming with the gun and you with your bubble. You managed to learn how to summon your bubble on command and you learned how to control the attacks within it.

The dummies you trained with were sliced into pieces and you trained on accuracy. You were able to target certain things and avoid others. Your training had gone well. One night, you were with Genya when you sensed a malicious presence. You knew this presence, you knew this evil. Muzan Kibutsuji was near. You looked at Genya and were about to warn him when you both heard a loud boom. You looked off into the distance and saw a massive cloud of fire and smoke. There had been an explosion. You knew that area, that was in the direction of Kagaya’s home. You were about to run off in that direction when you and Genya fell through a Shoji door on the ground.

You and Genya began to fall into a maze like palace of doors, rooms, hallways and stairways. As you fell you grabbed onto Genya and didn’t let go. You created a bubble around you both to cushion your landing. When Genya got up, you jumped onto his shoulders and you both began to run through the place. As Genya ran, you would use your blood demon art to slice any demons you came across. Unlike other demons, you can kill demons with your blood demon art. Perhaps it’s the Kibutsuji cells in your body that gives your blood demon art the ability to kill them.

Welcome once again star sailors,..............

First of all, with immense regret I apologise for not delving further into the following panels. This was going to be perhaps the most important post of the entire series (up till the end of Giyuu Gaiden). Sorry for the inconvenience, as I know myself the pain of not reading analysis series in order.

Now not leaving the task on to-do, let's move on, shall we?

I once again ask you to look at this panel:

(If you have not read the prequel part of this series, I strongly suggest doing that. Context will be needed in order to understand the further clues.)

As you remember, in the last episode of this series, I discussed Shinobu's intent with her quote on the top of the page. We discussed the sarcasm and the meaning behind it.

But now we are focusing on Giyuu. First of all, I would like to make the following statements.

This novella is set after the kamado massacre.

Giyuu is feeling guilt about letting Nezuko live (for reference, check the the second part of the Giyuu Gaiden novel)

Giyuu downplays himself, considering himself to be lower than anyone else.

Shinobu directly just made statement to her judgement on demons

Now.......I wonder how this all adds up.

Giyuu is feeling guilt for what he did. Or I would much rather say, what he chose to do. He most likely feels that another hashira would have made a better decision.

And now Shinobu directly states her reaction. This isn't a simple coincidence. The author is deliberately trying to show us that Giyuu's decision was something that Shinobu- and maybe any other hashira- would not have chosen.

Giyuu's reaction tells us about how he feels this guilt. When he realises what Shinobu would have done if she was in his place, he immediately starts thinking about his decsion.

It shows the most important part of the manga: What sets Giyuu apart from the other Hashiras. While I admit I analyse this as the 'Giyuu and Shinobu analysis series', this is the Giyuu Gaiden. This about Giyuu.

But this single page tells us more about Shinobu's reason to be here. Why wasn't someone like Sanemi placed in here? Yes, I know I am elaborating a single page, but the treasure it holds is far too vast to even be covered in this post.

✥ He saw you kill the spider girl, he did find it hot when you threatened to gouge out her eyes or slash her stomach and organs, he finally saw you using your insect breathing for the first time, he finds it very beautiful! ✥ Oh and he encourages your obsession with Sakura mochi, because he learnt that once when Sebastian cut off the Sakura Mochi from a particular diet you asked him to give you, Ciel learnt how your hair loose it's beautiful pink strands, when you stopped eating them and because they're a trade mark beauty feature of yours, he was very angry and demanded you get off the diet and continue with your Sakura Mochi obsession to bring back your pink tips!

✥ Speaking of mochi, Ciel now always eats sweet dishes because you own a bakery with your siblings, and your sweets taste very good and you cook amazing food and of-course it is now Ciel's comfort food and he demands it when he is having late-night cravings.

✥ You know how girls sit on their boyfriends' backs when they push up? Yeah, instead it's Ciel who sits on your back while you do push-ups and you can go forever without getting tired cause Ciel is very light! And so Ciel reads a medium size books while you do pushups or planks.

✥ You introduced Ciel and the staff to Kamaboko squad and Nezuko loves him, Ciel is generally enjoying her and Tanjirou's company becuse he learns how their family was also slaughtered, while he is absolutely angry around Zenitsu because he doesn't like the fact that Zenitsu is absolutely flirting with you. He's neutral with Inosuke, mainly cause he doesn't care about the boy but when Inosuke took off his mask, Ciel is very surprised to see a pretty girl's face on a wild boar's body, he's fine with it....kind of angry when he goes around fighting and being angry at people

Ciel, for once finds your humongous appetite to be quite insatiable sometimes, but nothing Sebastian's cooking can't fix, he knows how much to make for you and since you feel upset for increasing their work, you help by helping Mey-rin clean the dishes and make sure she doesn't do anything weird or break anything!

✥ Ciel also gets highly jealous when you start complimenting people because you find them cute or beautiful or hot, but it's fine cause you always come back to him and shower him in the compliments for than anyone else and you can also sense he's mad...

✥ He finds you very elegant, exactly like a butterfly and whenever you fight a demon you sometimes show him how you use your breathing style and though you can't actually see it , he can feel it, pretty butterflies fluttering around.

✥ He is very much questioning how you aren't mad about your past with you ex-fiancee and your elder sister being killed by a demon, because he feels his blood burn when you told him about...

✥ Now, you're very pretty and that's something Alois loves, he is always ready to dress you up in very pretty dresses and clothing, he loves to you dressed up in your kimonos or yukatas, or a training uniform, he likes to stare cause he's a little perv..

✥ Oh and if he's ever sick, no way will he let anyone treat him other than you...If anyone even tries to touch him, he'll stab them...not to worry, he'll listen to you like an obedient person and lover he is..

✥ Oh and he does not eat treats unless they're from your hand, he loves sweets from your bakery, he will always help you financially, but he enjoys going to your bakery...
