In other things I appreciate, Kubo’s sense of humor is once again cropping up in the oddest, and yet most enjoyable places. We’re cutting from a sweet character moment to some depressing exposition, and yet the transfer device is a piece of situational comedy involving two characters we barely know. And it works! I’ll never get tired of this sort of thing.

Apart from Yoruichi, is there any other characters you like in bleach and why?

my next favorite characters are Rukia, Kūkaku, and Tatsuki in probably that order, and from there it gets a little more troublesome to give them rankings

my strongest muses besides Yoruichi are for sure Bambietta and Tatsuki, and I've thought about spinning them off onto their own blogs off of obsidiennes

special shoutouts for people who doesn't appear on obsidiennes (even as part of the extended pseudo-secret additions of Rukia, Cyan, and Emilou) go to Cirucci Sanderwicci and Shino Madarame who I have sorta thought about adding there

there are some women in Bleach with hair colors that aren't black who have my appreciation. there aren't that many men in Bleach I really give much thought to though honestly? most of them don't really hit what I like to see in guys

Ryunosuke and Shina are really going through it. They’ve doubtless hear stories of the Arrancars from the Winter War-- I don’t know if they were Soul Reapers at the time, but both of their siblings were. And yet when one shows up in the flesh, these humans are just...not worried at all. Ichigo is complaining about what a hassle it will be to handle the guy, and the other three seem more concerned with eating than fighting a hollow super-soldier. What a world they’ve dropped in to.
