Shinichi and Sonoko bonding over their shared crush on KID would be cute. It would also be fun if they both had an interest in Kuroba Kaito.

This reminded me of an idea my girlfriend and I had, or well, I told her about it and she drew it, it was a great drawing by the way.

Anyway! I've seen fanfics where Kaito and Shinichi switch bodies, I commented "it would be great if Sonoko and Shinichi switched bodies."

KID is a mysterious and distant figure, and Sonoko and Shinichi know they'll never have him, so they have this shared crush on a celebrity, everything is fine until they enter college and meet Kuroba Kaito, who is a magician just as impressive as KID, but more importantly, approachable, close.

As a bonus, it would be really funny if Shinichi thinks Kaito is in love with him because he gets nervous around him (Kaito is completely terrified of being discovered), the problem is that Sonoko has the same idea (Kaito is just scared of his intensity), but she adores his best fan girl so much.

It makes me laugh to imagine Kaito hiding behind Hakuba and telling Shinichi and Sonoko "he's really shy around new people, he gets a little overwhelmed, don't worry, he'll get used to it eventually." Hakuba is very much enjoying the disaster that is about to come.

Do you like the idea of Shinichi keeping his gadget glasses post-canon? I once read a fic where Kaito hurt his eye during a heist so needed to wear a monocle sometimes too.

I think a lot about one-eyed Kaito, specifically with a black eyepatch. I think Kaito would look great with an eyepatch and two people almost took his eye out (Scorpio and Hattori).

I like the idea of ​​Shinichi keeping his glasses! But he hates them so much because he looks like his dad, so he avoids wearing them around Yuusaku.
