Since Twitter wants to nuke my account, I will just repost the fact that I got Lythero’s plushies in the mail two days ago, finally grabbed them out of the box the other day, and now figuring out where to put them so I can smile every day when I see them. :)

Left bunny is Psychonugget and right bunny is Beatbox. The guy in the center is Lythero’s marketable plushie. :D

I've been seeing a lot of crusty little dog positivity lately and I respect it. More people should get them, they're really the only genre of dog genuinely bred for companionship. But let's be real; they are hideous. I'm so sorry but shih-tzus look like a rug someone left bunched up soaking wet in a corner to grow mildew, but with bulging goopy eyeballs and a brachycephalic wheeze. I don't mean when they're elderly, they look wretched as soon as they leave puppyhood. Great personality, they're good little dogs and all, but it can't be denied that they're ugly as sin.

edit: "Only companion breeds" is hyperbole. You don't need to list every companion-bred dog to me. Peace and love.

These pictures are all not violets.

White flowers growing amongst a bunch of green leaves in the front yard! I don't know what these flowers are actually called, and would love to know what their name is.

Here's some plants I rescued from being trashed! Tall purple garden phlox and a pot full of white daisies! I always feel terrible when I'm finishing my shift at work, and as I go to clock out, I see perfectly-good flowers sitting in a cart, waiting to be thrown down the compactor chute. These flowers were probably already marked-down to zero, to be thrown away, but I scanned them at full price, anyway.

Here's a picture of the same flowers, sitting out on the deck, waiting for when they will be properly potted or planted! Tall purple garden phlox, and a pot of white daisies. Also, surprise! My new puppy, Spencer, is in this picture!

PLEASE observe Spencer, he's just a tiny little boyo. He's about as big as a rabbit? Right now his coat is a mix of dark brown, light brown, and black, but he's growing cream-colored hair in places. Right now, there's a big creamy spot at the top of his, and with his dark ears, it kinda looks like a "bald spot". Lol, sorry, boyo.

I’ve had some pretty bad luck with dogs. Tesla had to be put down because he jumped down from the sofa and suddenly lost all mobility and feeling in his lower body due to a discos prolapse and couldn’t even pee or poop, and Marie died suddenly from an unknown illness in the brain. Only Percy made it to seniorhood so he had to experience losing two friends and getting two new ones.

When I bought Marie the seller asked me to bring both my housemate and Percy so she could see what kind of environment we’d provide. I was pretty nervous about it because to be frank Percy is an asshole to dogs he doesn’t know so I was sure he’d ruin my chances.

When we got there he immediately told the puppies off by snapping at them and then walked over to a carpet and laid down, refusing to look at them and showing his teeth when they got too close. To my surprise the seller said “I think he’s handling it great. He’s not attacking them, just telling them off. I can tell they’ll be great friends”

And I knew he’d warm up to Marie because he always does but I was super surprised the seller knew too.

When Marie died I looked up adult dogs and found Ellie. I offered to bring Percy and again he was an asshole who snapped at her and wouldn’t let her get close but somehow the sellers were like “Yeah he’s a good one” and as expected he loves her now.

People in my area think Percy is aggressive because he’ll bark his head off at dogs he doesn’t know and snap if they get too close (and trust me they’re the ones who are getting too close because he doesn’t seek other dogs out) so it’s not like he has a friendly aura about him but somehow people who are used to having a lot of dogs around them can tell he’s a big dumb softie on the inside.

Me: [to dog] okay baby bat. it’s raining very heavily and will be for hours. When we go outside, you will get wet from the rain.

Baby bat: I understand. I want to go for a walk.

M: even in the rain?

BB:I said yes. Do I have to wear my coat?

Me: yes, let’s put it on. It’s rain proof, you will get less wet but you will still get wet.

BB: yes yes you said that already let’s goooooooo

[one step outside. rain drops on his head, BB looks at me as if I’ve thrown him across the street] what the fuck is this‽ how could you let it fucking rain‽ I hate you!!! I won’t go!! I won’t!!! [runs back inside]
