#2 Version — Writing in Spanish and translated to English.

Context: pro-hero au.

Tenko succeeds in catching the bad guy who generated the leak on the sewage systems and the heroes' effort confined the explosion to a small zone. Unfortunately, Tenko didn't have the time to get out of the sewage before the explosion. Now he's stuck underneath as the other heroes search for him.

    Move move move move move—

    "MOTH!"

    Part of him would always respond to his sister's call. It was something intrinsic to him, a kind of compulsion that took his body hostage when Hana's voice rose to the heavens.

    Sometimes Tenko found it hard to believe that they had survived the shadow of a villain like AFO. If he closed his eyes now, he could imagine that he was just sleeping and that at any moment he would wake up in another bed, another room, another life just as his as his own. He would walk to a deserted room to shake the fantasy of his dream into dust on the trash can. He would go to the bathroom, wash his face, and not recognize the young man standing there. Only his red eyes would give away his identity.

    All was a dream.

    It was time to stop playing heroes.

    He knew that he had done his job well because his whole body hurt, yet he was alive. Tenko had managed to contain the explosion to the smallest tunnel of the sewage system in the middle of the evacuated area. Hana had surely redirected most of the gas and dissipated it appropriately on the surface. He knew this because the explosion only knocked down a couple of walls and sent him flying into the bars on the west side of the tunnel.

    Deep inside, he just wanted to curl up against Touya's jacket, lay down on the floor and take a nap. He must have had a concussion. He couldn't feel it 'cause everything hurt the same, but Tenko always took his paramedic classes very seriously. Check for contusion. Check to see if he kept the rest of his body. Even without visibility due to the smoke and the giant block of cement covering the exit, Tenko knew that he would see nothing but a firmament of starts blinking on his periphery if he tried to open his eyes. However, Hana was calling him. There was not time to rest.

    "Hana."

    No good. His voice sounded beyond ruined. If he had heard Hana, she must be somewhere around him, he reasoned. Tenko had no idea of the radius of the explosion, so he had to do his best to help his sister locate him.

    "Hana..." Think, Tenko.

    Could the piece of rubble in front of him be safely removed? When the explosion sent him flying, the separating metal fence saved his life by stopping a large piece of debris just over a meter away. He couldn't see anything because of the way the tunnel collapsed. On second thought, he couldn't put it down. Tenko wasn't sure if that would bring him to the surface or let more debris rain down on him. He had not survived the explosion to die buried by his own impatience.

    "MOOOOTH!"

    "Here..." to your left. Damn, he was running out of oxygen in there. Was that normal? How come he could hear his sister perfectly, but he couldn't feel the slightest draft of air against his skin?

    Panic struck him suddenly. He couldn't be hallucinating, could he? The concussion, the lack of oxygen, the feeling of being swimming in air... If he decayed with his quirk that piece of debris and there was something on top of it, he would die. If he did nothing and he was hallucinating, he would die. If he rushed to make a decision and it was the wrong one, he would die.

    Ironically, Tenko could only think about his conversation with Touya a couple of hours ago.

    I promise not to die in your jacket.

    Wait... Touya's mask!!! He had it with him!!

    When he made it out, Tenko promised he'd pay for Touya's new jacket. For lending it to him— and for saving his life by doing so.

I can gladly tell u why or why not and the pros and cons to shipping smth: 

Iida was either with todoroki or ochako or even sero at times but i hated any ships with sero because that guy looked ugly af

Mina and kirishima WAS a thing but ppl kinda just saw them more as siblings which is the same with denki and mina

Momojirou was popular and still kinda today

Todomomo was also popular and was seen as a more "safe" or "normal" option since ppl were highly obsessed with gay ships so they wanted smth more "normal and "safe" because they also followed the logic of: "everyone needs to be shipped with someone" and if u ship bkdk or kiribaku todoroki would either be with deku or iida

Shigadabi and dabihawks [ESPECIALLY THIS] was popular

Why dabihawks even though dabi's a villain and hawks is a hero: people liked the 'childhood friends au' where hawks would meet touya [dabi's name before he became a villain] after he ran away and they would be friends

Background once again: Hawks was born to criminal parents but he had a really powerful ability so the government was like "yo kid u wanna become a hero? Come with us" type of stuff so hawks wanted to become a hero because of endeavor [his fave hero AND touya's dad]

[Note: hawk's quirk is having giant wings BUT he can control each feather separately so he can save people while also fighting in battle which is how he earned the title of "fastest pro hero"]

Background for touya's part: touya is the eldest siblings of 4 and basically his dad wanted a child with BOTH fire and ice powers [endeavor has fire and rei the mom has ice] and touya only had fire BUT his fire was stronger than endeavor was the dad was like yknow what im satisfied with this.

But endeavor didnt want to stop trying and rei also agreed that giving touya siblings is a great idea [YALL DONT BLAME THE MOM SHE DIDNT KNOW THIS WOULD TURN OUT ABUSIVE ALRIGHT] so fuyumi and natsuo the next two kids only had ice THEN shouto was born who had both powers endeavor wanted so of course he neglected touya's training and focused on shouto instead. So, touya got jealous as he should be since he really did admire his father and wanted to be a hero like him but yknow he was discarded, so one day he wanted to show his dad how powerful he can be so he told his dad "yo come to this mountain u always train at" dad never came and touya lost control of his ability so he allegedly "burned to death with his bones turning to ash and only a part of his jawbone being found" [note: touya also got rei's sensitive and fragile skin which is why touya's body can literally overheat and burn]

It was later revealed that AFO saved touya and patched up his skin.

So u can see the part where it diverges from canon for dabihawks to be a ship + the fact that dabi joins the LOV [league of villains] and hawks joined as a spy

Now why did this ship die down?? The plw [paranormal liberation war] arc happened and along with the heros attacking in the next part, dabi burned down hawk's wings and its even stated that he was never able to fully recover to his "full glory”

dabihawks fake dating au but it isn't Dabi and Hawks that are fake dating. Instead it's Dabi and Shigaraki. They were already doing it before the pro hero joined their little club, needing someone low-key that wouldn't get questioned on the occasional grocery shopping or paying the bills. What would get people averting their eyes? An out and open gay couple. This is how shigadabi went from "I hate you, i hope the other side of your pillow is warm the whole night" one minute to "omg darling I missed you so much!!" the next.

I want Shigadabi with petty siblings dynamics or the sassiest, bitchiest best friends that ever existed. They're very comfortable with each other since they know that there isn't any chance for their relationship to dive into romance. Hawks, not understanding relationships with the whole I grew up a child soldier situation, can't seem to grasp that the hot league lieutenant is actually into him and that he's not a home wrecker making Dabi cheat on Shigaraki. Hawks walks in on shigadabi cuddling on the couch and all he thinks is "Damn, their relationship must be going well." As if Dabi didn't spend their whole meet up the day before flirting and goading him to make a move.

Just 10k words of Hawks being on dumb bitch hours and Shigadabi having the most platonic dynamic pls.

Also I'd like y'all to think about a ShigaDabi AU in which Touya ends up not faking his own death where he gradually becomes more outwardly angry and resistant to Enji and simultaneously more protective of his siblings.

One day, during a fight gone too far with Enji, he (kinda not really) accidentally fatally injures Enji in a burst of rage. There's no doubt that it was him and he's forced to run.

Of course Shigaraki, who has been looking for recruits, sees this story on the news about Pro-Hero Endeavor's death and how his oldest son is the number one suspect and on the run.

Naturally, Shigaraki thinks this is the perfect opportunity and manages to find Touya and offer him a place with the League.

Yeah, I could definitely see an AU like that! Honestly, "friends with benefits turning into true love" is one of my favourite trope of all time.

Dabi and Shig were having a heated argument one night, and they started to push each other around and wrestled a little bit. In the middle of all this action, they "accidentally" started making out and even hooked up. Turns out that the sex was AMAZING, so once that the mortifying awkwardness wore off they made an agreement. They can be friends with benefits, but they have a lot of rules (no kissing on the lips, no cuddling, no "I love you", and so on ...).

At first, it's easy. Dabi will just randomly cage Tomura against the wall in the hallway like "hey, wanna have sex? because I really wanna have sex" and off they go. It also becomes a very easy way to solve all of their arguments. Every time they start fighting or disagree about something, it always ends up in the bedroom and the problem is solved. They VAGUELY try to keep it a secret from the rest of the LOV, but they're not fooling anyone (they will start to argue in front of the rest of the squad before both going a little breathless and immediately running upstarts ... subtle). Also, everyone noticed that they get along a lot better now.

Because yes, they start to weirdly get along. Now that all the charged energy between them is turning into great sex, they're both a lot more relaxed than usual. They even seem ... happier? It's hard to tell, it's still Tomura and Dabi after all. But Tomura smiles and laughs a lot more than usual, and Dabi no longer snaps at people for no reason. Actually, they're both in a very good mood most of the time (when they're not dealing with pro heroes bullshit). For everyone in the LOV, it's a blessing and improvement. Good for them. But for Tomura and Dabi? This is kind of a big problem. Because if they're happier and get along now, they don't fight. And if they don't fight ... is this still hate sex? Do they still have an excuse to have sex?

This thing used to be easy. Dabi would get annoying, so Tomura would just kiss him to shut him up. Tomura would start acting like a brat, so Dabi would carry him to bed to teach him a lesson. But now ... well, they don't find each other annoying anymore. Dabi is a lot kinder now, a lot more patient with everyone, and Tomura finds enjoying his stupid jokes and nicknames. Tomura is more relaxed, more mature, and Dabi realises that he actually love how passionate and caring his leader can be. So now ... this whole "friends with benefits" thing gets complicated because they have to find excuses. They have to find reasons to hook together since it no longer just randomly happens while they fight.

They still try to rationalise it though. "This is fine. This doesn't mean anything. This doesn't change anything. I may not hate him as much as I use to, but I still don't like him. This is fine. This is just sex. Good sex. Great sex. We still have all of our rules between us and we never break them. This is fine." But the thing is ... they both start to hate these rules. Neither of them wants to admit it, not even to themselves, but it's getting harder and harder to leave the bed as soon as they're done. When it's over, Tomura immediately jumps off the bed, because he knows that if he looks at Dabi lying next to him, with his sex hair and his happy smile, he'll want to lie next to him forever. And as soon as Tomura gets up, it takes all of Dabi's self-control to not grab his wrist to pull him back in the bed with, to not lie on top of him to trap him and just look at him for hours and hours.

This is the most dangerous part of it all: how much they both start to crave intimacy without sex. Dabi wants nothing more than to lie on badly with Tomura for a whole day, just to look at him and hear him breathe. Tomura wants nothing more than to reach out for Dabi's hand when they're outside of the bedroom, just to hold it and feel his warm skin. And they both want nothing more than to kiss each other's lips.

So ... like everything else with these two disasters, it all happened by accident. Kind of fitting really started with an accident and ended with one. Neither of them could have predicted it because nothing about that night seemed special. It was just another night with more fantastic sexy. There were maybe some differences. Tomura moaning a little louder and a little more desperately than usual. Dabi holding him a little tighter and little more desperately than usual. But neither of them were ready when Tomura reached his climax and screamed:

"Yes, Dabi! Yes! God, I love you!"

The silence that followed was almost deafening. Dabi's entire body tense and went still, with a completely neutral expression on his face. Tomura didn't realise right away, still fucked up his post-climax state. But then the silence was too heavy and the echo of his own words hit him. Shigaraki Tomura had almost been killed many, many, many, times before. And yet, he had never panicked as much as he panicked at that moment.

He immediately tried to take it back of course. He backtracked as much as he could, stuttering that he didn't mean it, that this was an accident, that he was sorry. But Dabi was still quiet, so Tomura's anxiety kept growing, and he even started begging Dabi to forgive him, begging him not to leave him, begging forgiveness for breaking the rules. Still silence. It was only was Tomura, on the verge of a breakdown, began to scratch his neck, that Dabi grabbed his wrist, pinned him back on the bed and kissed his lips.

Dabi kissed Tomura like he had wanted to kiss him for months. He kissed these beautiful scarred lips until the breathless boy underneath him processed it, gasped, and kissed him right back.

"I love you," Dabi whispered against Tomura's face when they had to break away for air. "I love you, I love you, I love."

That night, they make love for the first time.

Today I’m thinking a Shigadabi Pro wrestling AU. The whole hero situation would translate so well to a pro wrestling context. 

Crazy fights? ✔️ Flashy costumes?  ✔️ Dramatic bitches?  ✔️ Oversimplification of good and evil?  ✔️

Even the fact that people like Kirishima pay homage to older heroes by adopting similar names and styles is like, straight out of wrestling culture. So just picture it: 

Shimura Tenko, stage name Shigaraki Tomura, is the up-and-coming heir to All for One Wrestling. (Honestly, All for One would make such a good stand in for a Vince McMahon-type character.)

His main rival is Dabi, a wrestling superstar who appeared on the scene seemingly out of nowhere, but what no one knows is that he’s the son of wrestling legend Endeavor, who spent his entire career is the number two pro at the competing company, One for All Entertainment. Dabi joined All for One Wrestling specifically because his dad wanted him to wrestle for the other company.

Dabi thinks that despite how hard he’s worked, he’s going to get replaced by Tenko, this young upstart who only got his spot through sheer nepotism, so of course they hate each other at first.

But slowly they learn to respect each others talents, and realize they share some similarly shitty backgrounds. 

They start to not hate each other so much. 

They kith  🥺 👉👈 

Besides, you can’t tell me Shigaraki and Dabi aren’t exactly the kind of reckless and dramatic bitches that would do a swanton off a 20-foot high steel cage.

#1 Version — Writing directly in English.

Context: pro-hero au.

During a city-wide coordinate villain attack, Tenko hears that the villains plan to use the sewers to leak a gas and make it explode with a timer. Hana worries, so she calls Touya to help get some sense into her brother's brain.

"I need to go under."

    Tomura tried to catch his breath, looking right and left for the alignment of the sewage system underneath them. What type of leaking were they creating? How fast would it travel down the tunnels? They needed to seal each and every entrance for— what? How many blocks were they talking about? How long until the timer stopped? How��

    Tenko felt first the shove, then the pain as his ass bit the pavement. When he looked up, he had to squeeze his eyes to see anything beyond the sun angled to blind him.

    "Hold it," that snarl he knew. It wasn't the day looming its heat over him. It was a man with thin threads of smoke floating around him as he tried to calm down. "You're not doing shit."

    Tenko spat, wiping his mouth with the back of his gloves. Ah, he thought as he searched for Hana, to no avail. Touya waited for him to move or say something.

    Standing slowly, Tenko took care not to look at him.

    "That might not be up to you." Where was Hana anyway? It'd be quicker if she could float him to the nearest sewer entrance. "Go now, Touya. You cannot be here."

    If the villains were planning a gas leak on the sewers —and they were, Tenko would bet his life and some on what he heard earlier— they didn't have time for Touya to get stubborn. His fire quirk was a hazard at best. He must know. Hana must have talked to him on the radio while Tenko was trying to recall every late night at the agency he spent studying the prints of the city.

    Even with so many villains on the loose, there was no case on staying there and waiting for the ground to explode. They were a distraction. No one saw it coming. No other fellow student or pro-hero was catching on the actual plot. Like it or not, Tenko was their best bet. He had the training, he had the knowledge—

    There was a hand closing on the front of his suit, putting him impossibly close to big blue angry eyes.

    "You're gonna get yourself killed." Tenko wanted to protest, but Touya was not having it. He shook his head in disbelief like he knew exactly what Tenko was about to say. "Where's your cape, moth?"

    It was getting annoying. His cape was—

    Touya's gaze sharpened as Tenko realized what he was being told. His cape was wrapped around a little girl on paramedics ground. His suit was fireproof, of course, but not as sturdy as his cape. Without it, if he got caught in an explosion on the sewage, he'd—

    You're gonna get yourself killed.

    Fuck, Touya was right.

    Tenko raised his hand and Touya let go of him by instinct. Even gloved, people knew to keep their distance just in case. Tenko landed already twisting on his heels, spotting his sister on the mouth of the alley. The sunlight had moved from its previous position.

    "I have a plan."

the risk i took was calculated, but man, am i bad at math: exploration of what would have happened if deku had gotten hit with the quirk erasing bullets (after all, it’s several generations ahead of other quirks-- it wouldn’t quite erase it, right?

touya todoroki’s guide (has a longer name but i am not sharing it): dabi takes a college class (pre-stain). with natsuo, unintentionally, and gets paired with him for a partner project. trying his best. kind of crack treated seriously but not quite? 

the todoroki family’s guide (same as above): sequel to the above! in which the todorokis have a family tv show

side by side, against all odds: quirkless deku and bakugou hero duo! (platonic bkdk)

you will be made new again: dabi get hit with an age regressing quirk, and 12 year old touya todoroki deals with the consequences

what a quirk is worth: in which quirks are spiritual-based-- earned, gifted, received for a price, or inherited, but not easy to find-- and what that means for midoriya and the people he knows.

quirkloss: in which bakugou lost his quirk at kamino, and the consequences he faces as he continues in the hero course.

what makes a vigilante: vigilante touya/dabi, multiple endings, shigadabi with dabihawks in some endings and shigadabihawks in one ending

brotherswap au: in which the main three villains are shouto, izuku, and tenya, while touya, tenko, and tensei fight to bring them home.

royalty au: royal todoroki siblings, following enji’s death. including the lov causing small amounts of chaos, a possible scheme within the izucrew, and maybe a cameo from bakugou and his dragon.

you want a garden (but you got a balcony): hero student!tenko and kind of canon!dabi. their meeting, friendship, and eventually something more, including tenko forcing dabi to take care of himself

fall in love twice (with me): fantasy au shigadabi. criminal duo. stopped by a group of spellcasters, caught separately and forced to forget the other. they meet again in their search to recover their memories, and go forward from there.

game over. continue?: in which tenko lived and died pre-quirk era, jokingly put in his will that he wanted “game over, continue” written on his grave with a coin slot, and dabi is the first to go along with it out of sheer boredom, accidentally dragging tenko back to life in the process.

rewinded lov trio: in which an attempt to get information from eraserhead’s apartment ends in dabi, toga, and shigaraki getting rewinded to their childhood selves with no way to press the fast-forward button. 

mermaid shigadabi: part-mermaid dabi, mermaid-prince shigaraki. dabi runs away after enji finds out, running into shigaraki and ending up as a royal guest.

lessons unlearned: in which pro hero deku forgets what it’s like to be a quirkless kid wanting desperately to be a hero, just needing that final push of reassurance, at the cost of breaking a quirkless kid’s heart-- not unlike what he experienced at their age.

Soft confessions.  Outtake: “You’re running late too? What were you doing off campus?” The uncontrollable urge to smile hits Shinso, almost making him trip. The tailed hero student smiles. “Visiting my parents for the weekend; and you?” “Visiting Eri.” Ojiro does a once over before suppressing a chuckle. “Are you smuggling something in your bag there or are you trying to fix your awful back posture?” Shinso gives the other a huff of laughter.

Sparkle BNHA - UA Student - Canon-Compliment Words: 867 Characters: Aoyama, Monoma, Denki Ship: Gen/Friend Fic Description/Outtake:  Monoma and Aoyama converse over a meal together. Monoma's slightly surprised at how much he likes mingling with the competition. ~~~ Aoyama claps. “You brought the non-alcoholic wine!” Kaminari’s smile falters to Monoma’s enjoyment, but only for a second. “Aoyama, I didn’t know I was supposed to buy anything fancy, you shoulda told me! I thought you preferred this kind…” In a moment of graciousness, Monoma waves Kaminari’s worries off. “You are correct. That is his favourite. We’re just higher class than you. Only peasants refer to non-alcoholic wine as ‘juice’. But of course, you wouldn’t know that, now would you?”

- shigahawks childhood friends AU (i have like 4k words written so far? its more canon divergence than actual AU but im taking my time with it. whether its any good or not is anybody’s guess)

- the second half of supreme art of war...................................... camera pans into my face if i ever told you i had any idea what i was doing, it was all a fucking lie. Also the first half needs to be renovated/edited to be like... better. it feels a little unpolished and even at the time of writing that first chapter, i was perfectly aware how OOC the last part was but also i’m getting a little better at writing shigaraki because this man somehow sneaks his way into all my fics now... anyways...

- i started working on this pro heroes interact with Hawks story but idk if i’ll ever finish it lol. i think im like 4/9 pro-heroes done? there’s a +1 too (is this story format dead? who knows, ah whatever im still doing it)

- fuyumi fic thats getting finished at the pace of a snail. im putting a lot of care and effort into it, is all. probably will turn out boring but eh :) that’s the risk you gotta take when writing fanfiction

- chapter 4 of ill find you sooner than the stars? here (i made this a couple of weeks ago):

i probably... need to go back... and edit this one too.... to be less edgy................. or maybe i should just embrace the edginess. become self aware. like dont half-ass the edginess, go all the way in. deliver the edgy angst story everyone wants me to!!!! ahahaha starts coughing i can’t believe im associating myself with this piece of hot garbage that people apparently like. nobody cares but im definitely going to shift the story (assuming i continue it) to monoma and shinsou because im kinda sick of deku and the deku POV probably doesnt serve the narrative too well in the long run. amazing, 10/10 bakedpieceofchicken, youre hot edgy deku trash we all know now :eyes:
