Chii was sprawled out on the couch, one arm over her eyes and the other hanging off the side. She'd move her arm just enough to uncover one eye, a smile tugging on her lips at the familiar figure standing off to her side "Yeah, working with kids dose that to you, Leon..." Chii let out a light huff, no bite behind her words as she reached out with both arms. Making grabbing hands towards the raven haired boy. "I need to recharge, help me out?" She'd ask.

Leon could only imagine how busy her daycare might be at times, and this time, it was quite apparent, seeing her quite exhausted when she returned.

Noting her hands extending towards him, the brunet instinctively leaned forward so Chii could reach him easier, only for his cheeks to be cupped.

His face was slightly blushing by the tender touch. "O-oh, sure, Chii. How can I help you exactly?" He softly asked, blinking a few times.

Arone had left Chii for only a few minutes, in what had seemed a relatively innocuous back corner of the tavern. It seems, however, that was optimistic, and it was not long before a pair of men approached Chii, starting off slow, but quickly becoming more forceful in the advances due to her nervous demeanor.

Their efforts, however, are very swiftly cut short as one man's head is slammed twice into the nearby wall without any warning or ceremony. The other man barely has time to turn and start to react before he is dealt with with equal speed and brutality via a punch to the face and then his head being slammed into her knee. The whole exchange is so quick and out of the way that few, if any, of the other patrons even notice it, and it very well outlines just how dangerous Chii's protector is.

Memories about what he was or could do were fuzzy, he could barely understand the surroundings around him. Once he had been woken up, somehow, his eyes met with the woman who seemed to had been able to bring him back to that unknown world. Immediately, questions popped up on his head, words that he couldn’t formulate. So, he stared at her.

And as he stared, he slowly raised his hand, pointing over at her and then back at him. It was all he could do to try and convey all of the questions, all of the doubt that had enveloped him. That was about everything he could do, at the moment. Stare, point, and wonder what was going on around him... and within him.

Ah, so she was feeling cheeky today. Extra cheeky perhaps. And that called for some discipline. Medb admittedly may have been feeling a little too soft on her in these past few days, but that was about to change. Riding crop in hand, she repeatedly whapped it against her hand, ready to administer some punishment to the naughty fox.
