G O D S — when Maeve finally asks for help from Sylus. She is one to never reach out for help, no matter how badly she actually needs it. And, it's silly, if you think about it. How the thing she asked for help was so small and yet, you could see how Sylus's eyes light up. He had always told her "asking for help doesn't mean you're weak" and she knew that, she always knew that, but she had learned to deal with things herself, to not reach out for help, because it did in fact, made her appear weak.

Incapable.

As if it was carved in her mind that she shouldn't need help because she's more than capable of handling thing herself. Of course, Sylus pulls in the whole "I know you can do it, but let me." So what was it that Maeve needed help with that she finally pushed herself to ask for Sylus's assistance? A coding she was stuck on. She was learning how to code something for a class she was taking on the side. She nearly gave up and Sylus took it as an opportunity to get Maeve to ask him for help.

Instead of him offering the help as per usual, for once, he wanted to hear her say it.

"You know that I will always be more than willing to help you, kitten."

"I know but—"

"Whenever you are ready." He spoke lowly and before he could leave, Maeve reached out to grab onto his shirt.

"...okay, I—" She grumbled, 'need help.'

"What was that, sweetie? I didn't catch that." And, yeah, this fucker is smirking.

Maeve eventually just tugging him before pulling him down so they were somewhat at eye-level. "I need your help. So please help me?"

Needless to say, Sylus was (of course) more than happy to help her and even more so proud; a kiss to the top of her head as he whispered and pulled her into his arms.

"I am so proud of you."

Did Maeve cry? Probably, but not until Sylus left the room.

To be loved by Sylus is having security and this isn't about his money or his status, actually. But it's about the feeling he makes Maeve feel. It's hilarious to think that prior to their developing relationship, Maeve had such skepticism about him. Considering how she had seen people abuse their power to take control of a situation.

One too many times.

Of course, Sylus inevitably, and without question, proved to Maeve that he was anything but those men who use their rank, power, etc to take control of a situation. Anyways—to be loved by Sylus is intense (so to speak, to Maeve, she matches the intensity) yet soft. Gentle and warm. He does know the things she needs, more than she wants, he had learned how to love her like she needed to be loved.

He is safety, her safe haven. The pair of arms that hold her close and keeps her safe. The safety she didn't need, Sylus provides it. While their begins on rough patches, it was only the beginning of what would bloom into the relationship they have now. His love is calm and healing. His hands may be roughed up or stained with blood of many enemies, he holds Maeve with so much devotion and care, and pure love.

Sylus would say that to be loved by Maeve is to be loved no matter your past, and no matter who you were before your souls meet one another. Of course prior to their meeting, Sylus had always been looking for her and then eventually kept eyes on her (Mephisto), but it would seem that the love she had for him back when he was known as a fiend was no different than when her love bloomed as the days spent with him grew.

Maeve's love is tender, but intense (like Sylus's), again, they match one another. She loves him with as much devotion as he has for her. She would, indefinitely, tell him "tell me all the terrible things you've done and let me love you anyway." Because to Maeve, she doesn't care much of what Sylus had done, because even with tainted hands with the blood of his enemies, he still holds Maeve so dear.

Whilst Sylus may never believe it, no matter how much he wants to, even this Fiend or "monster" needs someone he can let his guard down, be completely vulnerable, and his truest self without scaring his lover and well, that may very well be the way Maeve loves him.

In his truest, most authentic self. Behind the bravado. Behind that confidence that slices down his opponents, lies a man who will fall to his knees and do anything for his beloved and Sylus would say, Maeve would do the same, even if he told her not to.

I’ve heard others call it Tetrachromacy I think it’s and it gave me the idea.

And like—-it makes sense because to others they’re really shiny but to icewing eyes they just see more colours instead. And it sounds sooooo cool.

Cuz if they live in a world of mostly white and blue, it’d be a major shock when they step into a jungle and they’re all picky about colours because suddenly colours are EVERYWHERE. (Alright, this is a stretch, I’m just dumping my brain rot on you)

They absolutely do, although I think a big part of it is that their eyes are trained to- how do I put this, get used to seeing shiny and white things? Maybe it’s a biological part of their eyes but it’s a way of preventing snow blindness. White is just dimmer to their eyes but in return, every color is SO much brighter.

Baby Icewing who wandered into the rainforest thinking she’s having the craziest trip of her life but she’s just overwhelmed by all the new colors that her eyeballs aren’t used to. Pretry much all Icewings have crazy bright color sensitivity but pretty good tolerance to bright lights.

If an Icewing saw a scene kid’s myspace page they’d probably pass out.

Anyways, Icewings would probably describe their scales as rainbow actually! Since the white and shine is so much dimmer to them, it’s much easier for them to catch the pastel blue, greens, pinks, purples and occasionally yellow or oranges or their scales. However other dragons only see Icewings as white, light gray or blue. The blue is actually a biological thing, basically when Icewings get older, similarly to how human hair grays, they “blue”. Icebergs in real life get bluer as they age and so do Icewings! It’s a vibrant and beautiful blue, so it’s hard to mistake with pastel blue undertones that some Icewings just have.

i llove the game! been following it since the first demo actually!! i have been a fan of tma for a while so when i saw Jonathan Sim was the narrator i was intrigued, i watched manlynaasshero(shout out, also got m into the purrfect games which fun fact i had the top blog for until i delted it) play the demos but played it for real w the pristine cut, i did a full playthrough w a friend w multiple endings and alt routes but i havent done everything yet since ive been busy w other games-

paraniod bc the nightmare was my kinda "the real slay the princess starts here" ending allll the way back in the demo, the fucking heart liver lunges thing? i did it on beat the entire playthrough w my friend, i thoguht and still think its such a banger addition to what could be a one note character showing how hes Preservation Instincts not just Paranioa, he stemms from a defense mechanism like all the others and is always the one in our corner even if he doesnt rlly Want To do All that

dude i fucking loooove meta narrstives and warped characters in eldritch places, this was a specifc list of niche narrative intrests that all came together to make the PERFECT game exploring the themes of the narrative! the only issue is im so fucked i cant even make any games like this anymore bc it just will never be stp...never ever...the art the music the writing all 100/10 literally changed my brain chemistry its so fantastic!!! every voice every vessel every dialouge option just captivated me like a toddler and cocomelon it was talior made to make MY nerouns activate so much

LOGAN he is like so soft and cuddly it's unreal like like like i love listening to him talk about things he loves. honestly he's the reason i realized i like video essays and audio books because ralling asleep to someone rambling anout a cool topic is so fun. and he's so snuggly. AND HES SO SMART! sometimes he talks about some neat history fact i like history especially like WAR

BEN he's so cool. he's the best. Ben really gets me even when no one else does. he's also a really nice cuddler. Logan fits perfectly in your arms but Ben just wraps around you like a weighted blanket he's awesome. he's so sweet and im really proud of how far he's come. i know he cares about all his friends and just wants the best for them, i admire him a lot. he also has GREAT music taste. sometimes he plays guitar for me since Tyler taught him which is fun

your art is wonderful and character's you're drawing are unique and that's what draws me to them (especially as someone who isn't conventionally attractive and has a big nose). and you make them look actually hot, like, their features aren't the "perfect and young and skinny" variety, but actual people faces who had experiences and life. and you actually make them look really cool and hot (and i say this as a fellow aroace person haha). and you're one of the artists who influenced my style and made me explore more diverse body types and TBH when i showed my latest work to mum she was so happy a girl i drew was pear-shaped and had wide hips and fatter thighs, because she's pear-shaped and has been self-conscious about it and i just drew what i found pretry (instead of following art tutorials on yt like i used to). sorry for the long stream of words, i'm quite tired today and might not make too much sense, but i just really really love how you draw your characters and how badass every one of them looks!

AAAAH thank you so much! And honestly yeah I do really like to draw stuff people can identify and see themselves in! I've always felt a bit overwhelmed by how a lot of big media only aims to show just a very specific set of traits.

I struggle a lot with films and shows because they're so focused on having only the most conventionaly attractive people, and it feels... off. It isn't a realistic cast of people. And I can't even tell them apart. I'm actually horrible at actors and such because standard blonde guy 1 and standard blonde guy 2 are the same for my faceblind ass dhugfghdf

And it's also, idk. The real world is filled with a massive array of people of all sorts of shapes, ages and looks, and I do love that! It's a fun subject for art! I also feel like I need to learn a lot more and expand my horizons though, there's still so many things I'm not great at.

- literally look at marinette pining for adrien and tell me amity didn’t do exactly that for luz (you can’t)

- amity’s whole arc is about learning to work with a team, and showing us that her composure is a facade (the same facade marinette puts up as ladybug) to prove to the public that she’s worthwhile

Willow -> Alya

- extremely loyal and supportive best friend, who always knows best, but has her own shit going on! i wouldnt ship her with gus in this au (even though they fit the djwifi roles), but they would be very close friends, and, like in canon, know almost everything about each other

Gus -> Nino

- extremely excitable, wants the best for his gal pal (luz) and finds humans/other people incredibly interesting! the sentiperson theory actually fits luz well here, because it gives gus in-universe reason to have an interest in senti-person history, like in toh canon

Hunter -> Felix

- very self-explanatory, but basically hunter is to felix as a grimwalker is to a sentiperson; they also share the whole “my uncle is a supervillain who wants to harness all magic for himself” and the whole “i want to be my own person (after a long series of character defining events)” thing

- pretry self-explanatory; boscha (as far as we know as of s2 ep17) is still a pretentious asshole, but she lacks the social manipulation vibe needed to be put in Lila’s role

Skara -> Sabrina

- Boscha’s right hand lady, not inherently evil, but tends to be associated with bad things because she’s so closely tied with boscha

Hi! Do you know the maurderers era students hogwarts houses? I read that Snape was a Snake/Bird and Peter Pettigrew is a Lion/Badger but what would the rest be in your opinion? I think James is a double lion, Lily a lion/bird, Remus a lion/bird with a badger model, and Sirius a Snake/Lion. Bonus!: I think regulus black was a snake/bird or a double bird with a snake model for his family.

Hello, nonnie. I have to confess, the Marauders were never my favourites characters, but I'll try to do my best. Iirc, I think @awinterrain and @the-phoenix-heart have talked about them befoere, but I am going to throw in my two cents.

Peter Pettigrew - He was sorted here by @wisteria-lodge I find the arguments very compelling, so yeah, I agree on Lion Badger for him.

Remus Lupin - Probably the hardest to sort, because I don't really care about him, like, at all. I agree Bird secondary seems likely. I could also see Bookkeeper Badger, but eh, let's say Bird. I disagree on him being an Idealist because the most memorable of scenes for me was in book 7, when he wanted to joing the trio and Harry accuses of him of running away from his family because he's scared of failling as a father. I think an Idealist would have pointed out that helping defeat Valdemort is the best thing he could do for his family, but he doesn't. We are left with the sense that Harry was right. And indeed, running away in order to protect people seems to be his MO. He was absent from Harry's life for 12 years and then disappeared again in Year 4. And as much joy as he gets from teaching, he doesn't fight for it when he's fired. IMO, he's a burned Badger primary that dehumanizes himself and doesn't allow himself a community.

Sirius Black - I think it would be impossible to sort him as anything but a Snake Lion. Clearly His Person was James and after he died, he focused on Harry and I think that's what kept his primary relatively healthy. Also what motivates Sirius in book 3 is revenge on Pettigrew. Very Snake-y of him. As for his secondary, it looked like both James and Sirius were Improvisers and I could never see this guy as anything but a Lion.

James Potter - The thing about James is that a lot of people have a very, very good impression about him and for 4.5 books the reader also sees him in a good light. But then we see Snape's flashback in book 5 and find out he was actually a bully. Which makes us wonder how literally everyone but Snape -who is biased bc of other reasons- had such a high opinion of him. IMO, it was because James was a veeeery Snake secondary. Compare him for just a moment with Sirius, who was mostly like James, but people, including people close to him, had no problem believing he was a murderer. As @laufire pointed out, it's hard to see Dumbledore, Remus, etc. believe the same of James if the situation was reversed. Lion vs Snake secondary, man. I agree he was most likely a Glory Hound Lion that probably shifted more towards Paragon after he graduated from Hogwarts and joined the war.

Severus Snape - I don't remember who sorted him and where, but I totally agree with Snake Bird. Severus was a pretry unhealthy Snake who fixated on Lily since childhood, but also valued power more than her. He thought he could have the best of both worlds and then Lily died and I am pretty sure he burned to a crisp. And yeah, what other secondary could the potion master have but Bird?

Lily Evans - We really know ridiculously little about her, but the way she stood up to James again and again since their first till their fifth year, makes me think she was a Lion secondary. (I am getting the feeling James really liked Lion secondaries) Definitely an Idealist primary and I could see Lion, but I like the idea of her housesharing with Harry too much, so I prefer imagining her as a Bird.

Regulus Black - Pretty much my favourite character on this list LOL. We also know too little about him to really have any definitive sorting, but I like your ideas that he might be a Snake Bird or a Double Bird. If it was the former, it's truly tragic, as I think only Kreacker would have been His Person by the time he died. Buuut, I am more inclined towards a Bird primary who thought pureblood ideaology was Right and Good, till he was smacked across the face with evidence that it really, really wasn't. The reason I am choosing Bird over Snake is because I cannot see a Snake sacrificing himself in the Cave when Kreacker was already safe. Snake!Regulus would have either: 1. never let Kreacker leave with Voldemort 2. sacrificed himself if it was between his life and Kreacker's or 3. as soon as Kreacker came back from the cave, would have taken him and deflacted from Voldy and the Blacks. But he didn't do any of these, instead he chose to die in the hope of his death helping bring Voldy's destruction. Kinda screams Idealist to me. And I think it's Bird and not Lion, because the cave and the horcrux and Kreacher almost dying seem to have been the straw that broke the camel's back for him and he did a 180 degrees turn and decided the Black family values can go to hell, Voldy needs to die. Considering the (super dramatic) message he left, Regulus strikes me as a planner, so I agree Bird secondary could suit him well.

So, TL;DR:

Remus Lupin -Badger Bird, burned primary

Sirius Black - Snake Lion

James Potter - Lion Snake

But, really, we know so little about most of these guys, you could write them as almost any sorting in fanfics and it probably won't look out of character. These are just my preferred interpretations.

I would be shocked if Sasha's injury wasn't terrible. She had/has a stress fracture, was likely off ice for about 2-3 weeks and started jumping right away, then has likely gone through an extremely extremely tough training cycle before the Olympics and is jumping 5 quads in a program and going for a 3A which is not consistent (that one jump might be more dangerous then her 5 quads combined) and she lands on the injured foot every time. There's no way her foot hasn't gotten worse.

I’m just remembering what zhenya said in an interview recently, did you see that? where she said she was screaming in pain before the olympics because her leg hurt so bad. please correct me if I’m wrong too, but I think she also had more time to recover than sasha (although we don’t know the full extend of either injury). she didn’t go to gpf or rusnats but I can’t seem to recall how much time total she took off. I think Sasha took max 2.5 weeks off and then was back to jumping. normal recovery time for a stress fracture is 6-8 weeks (some of which should be non-weight bearing) so there’s no way it ever fully healed. pretry sure it was rumoured that it was the 3A that she got hurt on too? also before the actual stress fracture is usually a stress reaction so there’s no way she wasn’t in pain before that and eteri probably still had her doing quads. plus she still wears that damn ankle brace during off ice training and her landings still look like they’re causing her a lot of pain and are super wonky :/

Okay okay okay, so first Ill explain the series.

so PJO: Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Rachel Elizabeth, Thalia, and Nico (my beloved) are the main characters. Theyre children of Greek gods And goddesses. They go on quests for various things like the Golden Fleece and to find Demigods and stuff. The main villian in this series is Luke and Kronos.

Next is HOO. Now you meet all my favorite character: Jason Grace (fuck him), Piper McLean (queen), Hazel Leveque (QUEEN), Leo Valdez (MY BELOVED), Reyna (she has more names but Im having a super hard time spelling right now) and shes QUEEN too, and Frank Zhang (Ive actually made a post calling his BS out bc hes a pretry shitty character ngl). Theres more people but these are the most important. They fight Mother Gaea and her Titans.

Now I could go further into the characters if youd like but I wont bore you wit those details unless youd like!!

Now heres the line-up:

Percy: Tanjirou. Theyre both dumb yet smart, waaaay too loyal, would take a bullet for their friends

Annabeth: Kanao. Now I don’t like Annie but I really like Kanao.

Grover: None,,,Idk about him honestly.

Luke: Either Rui or Akaza (leaning towards Akaza more)

Nico: Giyū. Depressed, Stressed, but has great friends.( BUT PLEASE IN THIS AU ”NICO” WOULD NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON ”PERCY” PLEASE.)

Thalia: Sabito (My beloved) One they have the same “Fuck you but also Ill fight anyone that messes with you remember that” vibe. Also I like the idea of the Big Three (Greek) being SabiGiyū and theyre adopted son Tanjirou bc yes.

Jason: Idek.

Leo: Inosuke. He is clearly so ADHD and Dyslexic. Also I just like that idea lol.

Hazel: NA

Piper: Zenitsu.

Things i loved about season 4

- The Nun scene. Honestly the sheer level of galaxy brain Ludo Besse has when writting these seasons lol. It was a very clever pararell to have the nun mistake Sana for another Sister, in a country as catholic as Italy, its al simple way of putting the hijab into perspective, no one sees a nun and thinks the same things they do when they see a muslim girl wearing a veil, even when they are essentially pretty similar: an expression of their religion. I really liked it (and the conversation under the candlelight just felt a whole other level of intimate so thats a plus)

- The Luai storyline. Man i loved this bit of the season, can we talk about the scene where Nico and Luai see each other at the club? The song choice? The shots? GOLDEN. I like that there are no real villains in this story (except for Luai's parents) what happened between them wasnt the result of someone in the baloon squad being homophobic, they were both victims of the circumstances and i love that Luai currently has a boyfriend, i've never been happier for a side character in my life.

- Sana. I enjoyed Sana a lot, she is sweet, she is akward, is a different take on her character and i liked it very much. What i loved the most was that the side plots from the og are still mostly there but this time they are constructed so they still revolve around Sana and her struggles. After the fight with Marti and the Rose Squad when she stays there alone with blood on her hand and both of her worlds (the contrabandieri and the Rose Squad) just walk away from her and she is just crying...that hit me hard (kudos to Bea, her acting was also very good), it made the scene more about her and what it meant for her than about the external drama, and then she justs keeps getting hit when she hears the UFB talking about her and finally Eva and Malik kissing... i could feel the weight of everything that had happened that night just falling on her shoulders and my heart shrank...her character was so well constructed im glad she got such a great season.

- The Rose Squad. I loved them, three out of four of them have clear characterization and it just placed them really high on my list...Ludo managed to make me care about Luai who has a total of like, 5 lines so i think its safe to say they are very well written and very well used.

-Filippo. At this point Filo is the father of half of that school i swear, it laughed so much with his scenes, from drunk Rami to Martino being a mess and just giving up on life in Filo's bedroom, also the fan service with Elia, i would've enjoyed it more had they not implaid that Elia was going to date Emma there at the end. (We stan safe sex kids)

- Episode 8. Was such a beautiful episode to watch, Martino and Sana are one of my favorite Isak-Sana dynamics after Amira and Cris, i loved their conversation cause it was more about understanding each other, Sana was right about some things and Martino was right about others, it was nice to see her finally open up to someone after just botteling up her emotions for the entire season, it was really sweet. Her message to the girls was heartbreaking, i legit cried and had to rewind the video cause my vision kept getting blurry and i kept missing parts of her speech, again Bea's acting really helped here, episode 8 was Sana not only opening up to her friends, but to us as the audience, that even after 7 episodes on her POV, still didnt understand her actions very well, it was a nice way of complementing the new perspectice her convo with Marti had given us, i loved it. (Also hide and seek to reunite Niccotino? I love Ludo Besse)

- The girl squad. I always thought Eva was very underapreciated (which is why i adore Skam España for giving her more to do after her season), i dont know why, but since the first time i saw norweiang Eva's season she stayed in my heart, and this version of Eva is one i love as well, i enjoyed her character and honestly her last scene with Gio? GOLD, her letter? One of the best things to come out of the Skam universe, i want to thank Ludo for handling her with such love. Silvia i really liked, her clip really puts things into perspective and i love that they kept her cat as an actual consistent plot device, she's had a nice character development, from wanting desperately to be noticed by the school coolest boy, to simply not caring about boys to finally opening up to someone, truly letting them in and accept herself, no only her body, but who she was. Finally Fede... the backstory of why she spoke to Sana was something i really appreciated, as well as the fact of her being so ashamed of what she he had done, i like that story because it shows how people can change once their prejudice is deconstructed, specially at that age we are the product of the education we were given, things like homophobia, sexism or xenophobia althought still not acceptable for a teenager, dont mean that they can't be redeemed, that their world view can't change in the future and that they can't grow. It was nice, you may have been an asshole in the past but as long as you understand what you did wrong and geniunly apologize, there is no reason for us to think someone cannot be redeemed.

- Every. Malik. And. Sana. Scene. Was so amazingly shot and constructed that even when i understood 30% of the dialogue the first time i watched it without subtitles i was smiling like an idiot, the date scene, those last few seconds? Them just staring into each others eyes? No kiss scene would've made us feel what that made us feel and that is a testament not only to good acting, but to the amazing direction of Ludo Besse.

- Ludovico Bessegato. This man has so much love for this project it shows on the end result, Skam Italia is pretry similar to the og in terms of plot, but Ludo made it stand out with his characters, his cinematography and some minor changes. The result is a story most of us already knew and loved with characters that some of us might love more than the originals in a setting that for me personally is more relatable than the norweiang one and has earned a place in my heart. I still can't believe he alone had to manage social media for the first seasons and had to fight with Timvision to get the show done, im so happy his work, and the work of all the other people who poured their hearts into this project (including the actors) got rewarded in such a way.

- The final speech. I understood very little of it while watching the first time, but that didnt stop me from crying like a baby while Gio read the letter, i found i cared for every person on that screen, from all of them i had good memories on the show and i couldn't believe that a fictional story could make such an impact in me, specially since this is the second time i see it, i'm probably way to biased with this show and the truth is idk why,i couldn't pin point the things that make me love it the way i do, i just do, and i am very satisfied with this ending, if this is the end.
