Molly's reaction to the drug test seemed overly dramatic to me. That, along with the fact that she didn't say, "Yes, it's positive," made me think that she was covering for him. (And saw an opportunity to release a bit of pent up aggravation in the bargain!) But then it never got revealed, so I kind of let it go. But I also keep coming back to it. So I'm throwing it out there that maybe Sherlock wasn't using.

As a side note, what kind of drug test was that supposed to be? I do drug testing for a living and that was waay more science-y than it needed to be (of course, that looks better on television, but you know how us science nerds are!)

Guys, I was just wondering, in the final episode of Sherlock, Mycroft says that he isn't prone to showing displays of brotherly affection, he then goes on to say look at what happened to the other one.. I was wondering, other what? Did Mycroft just say he had another brother? Does anyone have any theories?

just imagine how awkward it would've been during the reichenbach fall roof scene that when sherlock listed the people he cared about moriarty actually forgot someone like:

I have to say, I didn't find that HLV followed Charles Augustus Milverton 'quite faithfully as had been reported'.  There were, indeed, the usual nods to canon but it was not, IMO, a straightforward adaptation of the Conan Doyle story - but it was beautifully, wonderfully adapted, and I loved it.
