Your eyes begin to burn with tears as you stare from across the street.
You were going all over town just to look for him, even putting on a brave face when you headed to the station, asking his whereabouts from the other officers and looking at them in confusion when they simply chuckled and looked at you in amusement.
“Sheriff ain’t here, lil’ missy.” Officer Thompson said, a playful grin on his face as he looked up at you from where he sat.
“Left about an hour ago.” Another deputy added. “Probably at Ler—”
He stopped when Officer Thompson elbows him in the stomach, annoyance on his face as he glared at the deputy. He didn’t have to finish his sentence for you to know what he meant. You just hoped that he was wrong, that they were simply messing with you. He wouldn’t be hanging around that place, he doesn’t even patrol that route; he told you himself. But the way they smiled at you sent a terrible feeling down your gut.
But they were right.
You watch as his eyes close in sheer bliss, Lorianne’s hand out of view and her eyes darting down at his lap. You already know what she was doing to him for you’ve done it so many times before. It’s what he taught you when he first invited you to ride in his cruiser, how to properly aim in the Pepsi cup so as to not make a mess of the seat.
You want to flee, to hide from the man you thought saw you as someone special since you were the only girl he rode around town with. Openly showing everyone who owns you and who owns him. But seeing him now, pleasure painting his face as his shoulders heave from the heaviness of his breath, all you can think is how much he’s been lying to your face. That you even start to wonder how many of Leroy’s girls he brings into his car at night just to do what Lorianne was doing.
A gasp escapes your lips when you catch Lee’s eyes on you, shock radiating through his face that slowly shifts into amusement. He smirks, his arm around Lorianne tightening as he pulls her closer. You watch her try to kiss him but he only shifts his face away, her lips pressing against his cheek instead as his mouth drops open and his eyes shut tight once again. You don’t stay to see how their coupling ends and turn away to head back home.
Along with the spring chill that howls through the night, you hear the shatter of your heart in your chest. The sheriff you knew and have come to love is not who you thought him to be. You were made a fool and you don’t doubt the other officers and girls of Leroy’s bar know what a fool he’s made of you.
“You alright?” Your brother asks when you get home and just give him a nod.
He doesn’t ask any more questions though you don’t doubt that he knows you’re upset. He bids you good night when you run up to your room, whispering one back that he cannot hear. The door slams and the tears fall instantly from your eyes, your body shaking as the pain runs through your veins.
Fuck you, Lee Bodecker! Fuck you!
You wipe the tears away. You won’t cry for that asshole, even if he’s the law around these parts. You won’t let him step on you and continue making you look like an idiot for the whole town to laugh at. Yes, you’ll show him! Tomorrow, as the morning comes, you’ll march right up the station and show him that you aren’t one to play with.
-
You stir from your sleep when you feel a tingling sensation run up your thigh. You move your hand to grab your blanket, wanting to shield yourself from the chill that you think is brushing against your skin. But your eyes open wide, the sleep leaving you all at once when the blanket is tugged away, leaving you exposed in only your night dress on the bed.
The hand returns to your thigh and you sit up, startled when you see Lee kneeling on your bed. There’s a playful smirk on his lips as he continues to push his hand underneath your nightdress.
“What are you doing here, Lee?” You say in a rush, your throat raspy from sleep and your hand pressing down on his to stop him. “How’d you get in?”
“Aron let me in.” He says sweetly, eyes trailing down your body before meeting yours. “And seein’ as you were upset when you stormed off earlier, I thought I’d pay my girl a visit.” He grins, his hand flicking yours away before continuing his trail and stopping at the curve of your ass, squeezing. “Make ya feel good.”
The sound of pain rings through your room as you slap your hand across his cheek. He’s shocked and so are you, his body still yet his breathing heavy. But you waste no time leaping from your bed when his nose flare and he snarls in anger.
“Fuck you, Lee!” You spit as you stomp to the door but before you can even open it, the air is knocked out of your lungs as he pushes you against it. “Lee!” You groan, feeling his weight press against your back, his hand circling around the back of your neck, and gasping when he squeezes.
“You fucking put your hand on me, girl?” He snarls, his hot breath fanning against your cheek. “I could bring you in for assaulting an officer!”
“You hurt me!” You cry and wince when he squeezes your neck again. “You don’t love me!” You try to speak but his weight only suffocates you further, making it entirely hard to breathe.
“Love?” It’s almost a whisper as he says the word, gasping for air when his hand leaves your neck but only moves it to press it against the door, trapping you still. “When’d I say I loved ya, girl?” He laughs darkly, moving to turn you around and having you face him. “You’re an amazing fuck, sweetie, but ya ain’t that special.”
His words prove to be more painful than any of the physical pain he’s given you. You should have known from the start, should have seen the signs. How the officers would chuckle when you show up unannounced at the station, how they would snicker when Lee would take you to his cruiser. Even that one time you saw Natalia smiling at him while you both were at the market shopping for berries for his pie.
You only realize you’re crying when Lee reaches up to brush the tear from your face. You turn away and will yourself to stop, not wanting to give him the satisfaction that he’s gotten under your skin.
“Then go to one of your whores and leave me alone.” You cry and try to push him away but he only cages you again, pressing his stomach against you as his hand drops down on your shoulder, wincing when he gives it a hard squeeze.
“I’m already with you, ain’t I?” He smirks and you freeze in terror when you hear the jingle of his belt buckle, the sound of his zipper ringing loudly in your ears. “Now be a good whore and make me feel good.” He hisses, a whimper leaving your lips when he pushes you down to your knees, his other hand fumbling with his pants as he pulls his cock free. “And if you do well, I might even call you my favorite.”

I can’t for the life of me remember if I ever posted this but here’s a implied yandere todd x thompson fic
_________________________________________
Thompson wished he could say that nothing ever happened in this godforsaken town. Any time an out of towner asked him how his job was, he would love to say that his job was easy. That all he had to do was roundup loose cattle every once in a while.
With the constant crime, this town was like hell. Not a day went by when the damn bank wasn’t being robbed or someone’s horse was stolen. Or hell, when someone robbed Todd. No one ever seemed to learn from other’s mistakes here either. Too many bandits have been found dead after robbing Todd, the Red Bandit’s signature mark branded into their cold skin.
The implications of that never failed to give Thompson an awful headache so he chose not to think much of it. It could absolutely be excused of the infamous man taking care of the town he probably resided in. If Thompson ignored the fact that he only did this for one business in town.
Constant days like this was why Thompson had constant bags under his eyes, though one was covered by his eye patch, and not a night went by where he hadn’t sat in the saloon. Even when he stayed past closing Todd never minded his company.
He would just sit next to Thompson on a stool and together they’d sit in silence until Thompson left or passed out.
It was a calming routine. One not even broken when Todd’s inventory was empty.
Tonight however, was different. For one, Todd had closed up his bar early, flipping the sign soon after Thompson had sat down. Next, he poured himself a drink and took a seat next to him.
“You didn’t get robbed again so I can’t imagine you had that rough a day.”
Todd snorted, “Maybe those damn fools have finally gotten the hint,” he said. He took a drink.
“Nah you know they’re only biding their time. Overheard some of those idiots inside the supply store, they’re just biding their time. Think they can rob ‘ya blind and face the Red Bandit if he comes after them.”
“And how long were you waitin’ to inform me of this?”
“Just heard it today. ‘M telling ‘ya now, ain’t I?”
Thompson drained his glass and he heard Todd sigh.
“What do you think, of these fellows ending up dead by Red’s hand?”
He only gave Todd a shrug.
“You are well aware of what that implies and I want nothing to do with it. I’ve got enough on my plate as it is.”
Thompson rose to his feet, giving Todd a tired look. “I’ll get out of your hair now, since you closed up early tonight. Would hate to be a bother.”
“Never stopped you from staying past close before.”
“No, but you look like you could use some sleep.”
“You ain’t looking so pretty yourself, sheriff.”
“When am I ever?” Thompson said with a laugh. “Take care of yourself, Todd. I’ve got a feeling that we might all be busy with the Red Bandit in town.”
Todd said nothing else.
As he stepped out of the Saloon’s doors, he heard Todd slam his glass down on his counter.
True to his word, the bar was robbed once again. The culprits were found dead hours later, brands seared into every inch of skin. As brutal as it was, Thompson turned his eye away and did not think of it.
* * * * * * * *
Days had passed without much trouble for Todd. With how brutal the last murderers were, no one dared to even step foot into his bar. No one but Thompson, at least. It was bad for business but if Todd minded he didn’t show.
Silence hung in the air as Todd poured him a drink. Wonder why he’s giving me something good this early, Thompson thought absentmindedly. The act itself was strange. Todd normally gave him an entire bottle and left him to it. It never changed whether he had something shitty or expensive.
“You’re gonna need this for what I have to say.”
“I don’t like this.”
“Don’t care, drink it an’ listen.”
Thompson drained the glass and fixed his eye on Todd.
“There’s talk of Eduardo’s crew stealing the Prince of England.”
Oh hell no.
Thompson puts his head in his hands, thankful for the strong liquor entering his system.
“I think… That’s…” He was at a loss for words.
“I suspect that the Prince is already here and so, at best, you have less than a month to prepare to work with whoever is sent.”
“Why are you telling me this?”
Todd stared blankly at him. “Won’t be good for my business if whoever is sent here investigates the wrong trail. Would hate to have to leave this town.” Then, Todd smiled. “I’d miss your company.”
For some odd reason, Thompson’s heart skipped a beat. He raised his head to look at Todd.
“I’m flattered but a drunk man can’t be that good of company.”
“You’re interesting,” Was all Todd said. He poured Thompson another glass of fine Whiskey and once again, they sat in silence.
Thompson was going to enjoy any bit of peace he could before the storm hit. And if he ended up in the bartender’s bed that night, that was no one’s business but his own.

The X-Files, 4:2: Home
Tumblr media
What is the plot? Mulder and Scully are back from their latest personally harrowing experience to investigate someone else's horrors in a very twisted riff on Mayberry. This is the episode with Wonderful, Wonderful, and I could speak at length about the masterful cinematography choices that were made with regards to that song. This is also the episode where they get into a pig pen to make the pigs run out. Scully's nephew watches Babe 15 times a day, which I can confirm is relatable 90s kid behavior. (In other media news, Mulder can't get the Knicks game at their motel.) I really cannot speak of any further things that happen in this episode, but I do want to know the Sheriff's backstory.
What does this episode suggest about Mulder and Scully’s relationship with each other? This episode contains a scene that I have to assume is the beginning of the long and convoluted arc of Mulder and Scully doing the one job that Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman never did together, having a baby! Scully admits that she's probably projecting with her imaginings of what the mother of the dead baby must have experienced, and when Mulder says she just has to find a man with an uncomplicated genetic history, she turns right to him, the man she is sitting on a bench with! Mulder "has never seen [Scully] as a mother" before, which is a weird and interesting thing for him to say, and also leaves a lot left unsaid.
Where are the aliens? the alien/human hybrid experimenters are really into eugenics, so they're pretty far from this episode, which involves other crimes

CAM IN SALOONATICS!!!
@mayisgoingnuts
Tumblr media
So basically—Cam is shown running with the others in the rain at the beginning of the episode—having his hoodie over his head. He seems less phased than the others do, though I can see him making a comment asking why it's raining so much anyway or just kinda commenting on how cold it is now. After they burst into the museum though, Cam wonders in quietly, shaking his hair since it got kinda wet and taking his hood off. He also probably helps Matt shake the water off his jacket off-screen. And when Tom locks Matt in the jail cell only to refuse to help him, Cam decides he'll help, but struggles with doing so the entire time.
For the Saloonatics story, I can't really decide if Cams counterpart should be a hitman who's trying to hunt Edward Gold down specifically under the order of some escaped criminal who was caught by him—only to decide Edward's way too cool and not assassinate him after all. Or if Cam should just be a bartender alongside Tords bartender counterpart. But I'll tell of how different parts would go for either of those possibilities either way.
Hitman! Cams name is Cameron James or 'Chaotic Cam'. And Bartender! Cams name is just Cameron.
Cameron James, if in this episode, isn't seen until about a minute into the episode kinda peeking out from a building while Edward heads into the bar. While Cameron is just seen kinda walking past Bartender Tord as he hands a beer to Edward.
Cameron James tries to probably take the shot on Edward while he's talking to Sheriff Thompson, only to sneak off or scatter when someone busts in to tell Sheriff Thompson about the nails being stolen by bandits. And then while trying to shoot Edward again later ad he's shooting bottles with Thompson, Cameron realizes things might be a bit easier if he gains Edward's trust. So he heads in and shoots down a couple of bottles too. Edward is impressed while Thompson is skeptical, and when Edward asks who he is, Cameron lies and either just says he's 'nobody' or that he was told about the bandits and figured he could be of some help since he knows the town better than anyone (with Thompson pointing out how that's weird considering he's literally never seen him before). But Cameron dodges that anyway, and when someone tells them that a bank is (literally) being robbed, Cameron decides to help out.
As the montage of Edward trying to clean up the town but miserably failing plays out, Cameron tries to take several opportunities to shoot him, but eventually gets caught up in the whole thing and starts just actually helping out rather than just saying he will so he can kill him. And he becomes pretty invested too, but feels bad for Edward (Cameron also always tries to help when things go wrong but just ends up making things worse in the process).
In the next scene with Edward, Cameron tries comforting him and patting him on the shoulder, telling him it's alright and he can still try finding the prince—and says he'll still help look for him if he'd like, though Thompson doesn't make Edward feel any better with his snarky comments. When Bartender Tord gives Edward the cola drink after Thompson dramatically yells 'NOOOOO!', Cameron tries encouraging him to go drink some while he tries to get Thompson to calm down.
Though if this were the Bartender Cameron universe—I imagine he either tries asking what happened to Edward or still comforting him even if he doesn't know exactly why he's so sad—and he also tells Edward that the 'Co-La' drink is pretty good and that he's apparently tried it himself once (which makes Tord give him a stern look since that implies he might have drunk something in the bar without permission).
Either way, when Edward suddenly becomes energized, Cameron James gets kinda worried as he walks over, only to become shocked when Edward suddenly runs off.
When Edward passes out and wakes up, Cameron helps him up while remarking about how he kinda went crazy there, but then congratulates him and says he did a good job since he was able to clean everything up just like he thought he would. And is like 'Let's go get your prince, man :]". I can see him eventually looking down at his gun though, and then back at Edward—and then at the contract he signed to kill him. And after a bit of thinking, he tosses the contract to the side and follows Edward.
Once he does, Cameron is standing alongside Edward when Thompson points to the both of them saying 'these two' once Eduardo asks who and what army he has. But Eduardo immediately starts shooting at the both of them, with all of the bullets somehow always missing Cameron as he literally just stands there—though one shot he makes nearly kills Eduardo. He ends up noticing Prince Matt though, and drags him behind one of the rocks with Sheriff Thompson. He doesn't day much afterwards, but does flash Edward an encouraging smile when Thompson says 'Everybody needs a little something' yet again. And kinda watches as bro proceeds to fucking clock the bandit version of the neighbors.
In the next scene, Cameron is seen laughing at Prince Matt bragging to the ladies, and also denies Edward's offer to go to England afterward because he apparently thinks the Prince is really cool and would kinda prefer to br with him (and he also implies that he has something to patch up with Bartender Tord).
Either way, it cuts back to reality, with Edd turning over to the others once he finishes reading and Cam helping Matt out of the jail alongside Tom. He's also the one to point out that the rain stopped here, while Matt still says his line about going back home before it comes back for revenge. That's kind of it for Cam in this episode tho jsnsnsn.

Where: A Haunted Asylum Who: @sntskennedys
The night had been a slow one at the hospital, which was rare in Port Leiry. It was like a calm before the storm, as if the ICU would be overflowing the second she'd leave the place. But her pager remained quiet the entire walk she'd taken towards the police station. Any other person would've texted a friend to see if it was okay to come by, but Hester wasn't like any other person. Or like any other vampire, for that matter. It didn't surprise Hester to see the station empty, passing by the last officer who just clocked out to go home, apart from the one she was looking for.
''Thompson is getting out of jail soon-'' another guy that got out too soon, too fast for Hester's liking after doing the worst to a woman she'd cared for in the hospital. ''I can't let this slip by, not on my watch-'' information she wasn't supposed to talk about to a cop. Good thing that Leo wasn't the typical sheriff, she got the intel from her after all. When she was about to continue on the serious matter, it was the static noise that made Hester shut her lips. A code came in on the radio, something about a missing kid. And of course Hester went along for the ride, if it meant spending time with her friend she'd do it.
Something something about the kid having been acting crazy the last few days. Parents disclosed having had a priest over, the kid had ran off to the edge of town. A closed down asylum that hadn't been in use for years.
Hester didn't get the creeps very easily, but when it came to stuff like messing with the devil? She had imagined her night to go very different, but she wouldn't leave Leo by herself either. Not with a possibly possessed kid in a very large abandoned building. Getting out the car, she eyed the wreck of a place. Even though Hester was used to the night - it certainly didn't make it less creepier. Gulping, she pried at the front doors to open them up but then halted in her tracks, eyeing Leo. ''I'm not afraid if you aren't- I mean, I'm not afraid, of course, but I'm just clearing that up.'' Yet she waited til Leo went ahead first.

Winter's Bone (2010)
Tumblr media
Winter’s Bone is technically a coming-of-age story, which makes it the most nerve-frying example of the genre I can think of. This tale of a teenage girl burdened by gigantic responsibilities lives below the search for a man who will leave her with even fewer prospects than she currently has. With danger around every corner and the few trustworthy people being about as friendly as rattlesnakes, there are no chances to rest. Bolstered by an incredible performance by Jennifer Lawrence, this film is hard to shake.
In the middle of nowhere, Missouri, seventeen-year-old Ree Dolly (Lawrence) is barely managing to care for her mentally ill mother (Valerie Richards), twelve-year-old brother Sonny (Isaiah Stone) and six-year-old sister Ashlee (Ashlee Thompson) when she gets a visit from the local Sheriff. After his arrest, Ree's father put the Dolly home up as part of his bond. If he doesn’t show up for his court date in three days, the county will take possession of their home.
Finding a deadbeat dad who was caught manufacturing meth and is now running away from a 10+ year sentence? You might as well ask Ree to find a needle in a haystack. The looming deadline and high stakes mean there isn’t even time for her to get angry. All she can do is look and ask people, which puts her at risk of violence - or worse. When you think “crime boss”, the picture in your mind has some kind of “class”. Fat cigars, fancy cars, that kind of thing. Thump Milton (Ronnie Hall) is far more terrifying than any gangster you could imagine because he lives in a dump and his wife (Dale Dickey) looks like she’s been crudely carved out of rock. He might be at the top of this food chain but it’s an environment where there isn’t enough food for everyone so all the animals are perpetually starving and eager to jump on each other. Being a minor and a girl provides Ree with the slightest bit of protection as part of an unspoken code of honour… but she’ll burn through that quickly with all her questions. Unfortuantely, she has no choice but to persevere. At least her meth-addicted uncle Teardrop and his girlfriend Victoria (Cinnamon Schultz) MIGHT have mercy on her. You know the sheriff’s office won’t hesitate to take away the house.
The film is set in modern day but it might as well be in a post-apocalyptic wasteland or the wild west. Even if Ree finds her father, what’s she going to do? Convince him to show up in court? It would be better to find his corpse. Then she could keep the house and he'd be out of her life permanently. The law’s not going to help and you can practically see the vultures starting to circle. Even when someone does lend a helping hand, you’re suspicious. Either there are strings attached or that exchange of information will rub someone the wrong way. You don’t even want to think about what would happen to the family if they lose the house.
The script and superb direction from Debra Granik (who co-wrote the screenplay with Anne Rosellini) makes everyone feel like real people. Dangerous, desperate and unpredictable people. One wrong word could mean sudden violence. It could also trigger the last remnants of sympathy. This is a bleak film but it’s somehow hopeful as well. It’s not a nice movie and just about everyone you meet is rotten but young Sonny and Ashlee are in better hands now than they would’ve been if their father had stuck around. Yes, this is a rough patch; maybe the roughest the family has ever faced but if they can get through this, Ree will have proved her mettle. Combined with the smarts to know to stay away from the “family business”, it could be enough to get the Dolly children not necessarily out of the muck of poverty, but in the direction of a happy ending. Assuming this is that kind of movie. You get a strong feeling this will all end in a bloodbath…
There’s a single dream sequence with black-and-white imagery I’m not sure was necessary. Otherwise, this film is just about flawless. It's certainly memorable. Winter's Bone is so scary and dark you’re amazed that it nonetheless manages to make Ree - and you - more determined to go on rather than give up. (On DVD, August 30, 2021)

Dude, dude, dude you probably know already but I’m a huge techno simp and I just gotta ask, Sheriff Thompson? Can I have some wild Wild West headcanons? Or even time traveler Reader headcanons where they take the place of Karl or partner up with him when his memory issues get to bad and he needs a break? I just adore every single iteration of Techno and J need Billiam and Thompson content!
Also a little reminder- Your stories are absolutely amazing! I adore reading all of your little imagines and they make me all soft and happy (even the non technoblade lolololol) Your work is amazing and be proud of it! Love - 🌻
(I love you so much. Thank you so so so much that really truly means so much to me and that is just so nice of you to say <3)
Did I watch the tales of the SMP out of order so I could write this for 🌻 ? Yes. Do I regret it? Nope lol. I hope you enjoy.
Listen, you and Techno are soulmates. You’re soulmates in every life that you travel to and so it's no surprise when you and Karl show up to the Wild West that Sherriff Sherman Thompson is immediately drawn to you. You and Karl get there and walk into the bar and immediately make friends with John and accidentally piss off the “democrat haters”. And so you and Karl join forces with John and begin walking around town looking for more people to join your group to try and take down the bandits. You three walk into the jail and your heart immediately pounds in anticipation as you see your soulmate sitting behind the desk. Once he looks up and his eyes meet yours and for a moment time stops. Karl, not meaning too, breaks the moment by introducing himself and you before asking for the man’s name. Sheriff Sherman Thompson. The rest of the time the two are talking, the Sheriff is stealing glances at you the entire time. And once you five leave the jail, he’s glued to your hip. He never lets Crops get close to you, which you find very sweet. As well as, every time he mentions that he’s a week away from retirement, he always looks to you like he wants to ask you if you’re busy next week but he never actually says anything. Sheriff Thompson is glued to your side the entire time you’re walking around the town and he makes sure that you feel comfortable around every new person that you are introduced to. At some point, he begins to call you “darlin” and it just makes your whole heart flutter every time you hear it”
(Listen I could not stop thinking about this when I was watching this scene and I want this so bad) So the time comes when the eight of you go to the shooting range to practice shooting for the duel. The Sheriff is kind of helping everyone and everyone is doing pretty well, everyone but you. So the Sheriff comes over to you and does that cliche thing where he wraps his arms around you from behind and places his hands on top of yours and helps you aim and shoot and together you two get a bullseye. Once this happens you let out an excited squeal and turn around in his arms and throw your arms over his shoulders and around his neck and pull him into a hug. He’s a little frozen in shock, but he melts and wraps his arms around your waist and hugs you back. The two of you stay like for a few minutes, just soaking up the affection before someone clears their throat and the two of you quickly let go of each other, a soft blush coating both of your cheeks. But you turn back around and shoot once more, missing. You pout and load another arrow/bullet and look over your shoulder at the still blushing Sheriff, “Help?” you ask. And who is the sheriff to deny you. “Of course darlin”
You sit next to the Sheriff at the campfire. His arm is slung over your shoulder holding you close to his side and your head is resting on his shoulder. No one says anything about it, they just let you be so you can have your moment of peace before the duels. So then the Democrat Haters show up for the duels and the eight of you huddle on the bridge and the bandits settle on the other side of you. You all form the plan of who’s dueling and you can’t help the nervous feeling in your gut when it is the Sheriff who goes first, even though you know that he will be just fine. He leaves the small huddle on the bridge to go to the small strip of land where the duels were taking place. Before he gets there though, you break from the huddle as well and rush toward him. “Sheriff Thompson!” You call out to him. He immediately turns around with a curious look on his face, “Something I can help you with darlin?” Your heart pounds in your chest as you draw near to him. You stop right in front of him, your bodies pressed kind of close. “Yeah actually, there is” and then you lean up on your toes and you kiss him with as much passion you can muster. The Sheriff seems a little surprised at first, but instantly melts into the kiss. (if you saw my post. This is where it happened lol) The fire inside you sparks and burns bright at the fact that you are kissing your soulmate in this life. Realizing that the Sheriff was literally in the middle of going to a duel, you pull back from the kiss with a sheepish grin, “Come back to me yeah?” You ask. Sheriff Thompson gives you a grin, a wink, and a nod, “Of course darlin. I’ll always come back for you, especially if you give me more of those.” He leans forward, pecks you lips, before continuing the small walk to the dueling ground. You make your way back to the others and Karl cheekily grins at you and bumps his shoulder against yours, “Yeah?” he teases causing you to roll your eyes and push his shoulder, “Shut up”
I’m sorry this is so short, but I hope you liked it all the same!!
P.S. I almost ended this angsty where you and Karl duck out and go to a place where you can time travel out together and the Sheriff would grab your arm and be like, “where you going darlin” and you would smile sadly at him, cup his cheek, and kiss him softly and just say, “I’ve got to go now. But I’ll see you again and I promise I’ll remember you… Even if you don’t remember me” but I thought maybe that was too sad lol.

sir billiam finding out that the guy he had killed and fed to an egg somehow popped back up entirely fine three months later and became sheriff for a day in the town that sir billiam possibly stole his riches from
imagine if sir billiam and sheriff sherman thompson are brothers and they meet up after the sheriff retires and karl just becomes a cryptid in the history of the smp

Once again I have accidentally deleted the original post instead of the reblog so here it is again. This doesn't take place in the Yeehaw au, it's just regular Saloonatics. Mostly, with implied yandere Todd x Thompson. Since this is more buildup to that, I might write more and expand on this.
____________________________________________________________
Thompson wished he could say that nothing ever happened in this godforsaken town. Any time an out of towner asked him how his job was, he would love to say that his job was easy. That all he had to do was round up loose cattle every once in a while.
With the constant crime, this town was like hell. Not a day went by when the damn bank was being robbed or someone’s horse was stolen. Or hell, when someone robbed Todd. No one ever seemed to learn from others’ mistakes here either.
Constant days like this were why Thompson had constant bags under his eyes, though one was covered by his eye patch, and not a night went by where he hadn’t sat in the saloon.
Thompson drained his glass and he heard Todd sigh,
“What do you think, of these fellows ending up dead by Red’s hand?”
He only gave Todd a shrug.
“You are well aware of what that implies and I want nothing to do with it. I’ve got enough on my plate as it is.”
Thompson rose to his feet, giving Todd a tired look. “I’ll get out of your hair now since you closed up early tonight.
As brutal as it was, Thompson turned his eyes away and did not think of it.
* * * * * * * *
Oh hell no.
Thompson put his head in his hands, thankful for the strong liquor entering his system.
Would hate to have to leave this town. Besides, you informed me when I was about to get robbed. Least I could do was return the favor.” Then, Todd added, “I’d miss your company.”
And if he ended up in the bartender’s bed that night, that was no one’s business but his own.

dunno if you follow any other mcyt content, but if you havent already seen it, rendog's hermitcraft s7e5 opening features ren the kid and i just think it would be really incredibly funny for this town of goofs to meet mr batman voice, have him pronounce some kind of ominous warning, nod solemly at (ex) sheriff thompson and leave
Thanks for the ask!
I ... vuagely know of hermitcraft. I was interested in the whole "moon big" plot and I enjoy Mumbo-jumbo's videos every now and then. But I don't believe I've ever watched Rendog. That said, I'm imagining a 5 year old telling Thompson in a perfect (rolls some dice, checks) Robert Pattinson impression something super ominus and then just ... leaves town.
It's a very funny image!

Ok, you can ignore this. But I just imagined Sheriff Thompson seeing Crops carrying his beloved bridal style while running away but for some reason is still asleep.
I can Imagine the goose chase that would occure but his beloved is still asleep for some reason. And when they wake up they go all like "This ain't my bed..." and then goes to sleep
Oh my god that's so funny, actually. Sherman legit just goes protect mode and you wake up all dazed and confused later in his lap all just like "huh what" & then immediately pass out again and he just sighs softly and brings you home
