Entrapta’s got a very fun case of the Chaotic Neutrals.  She just wants to Do Science!  She doesn’t particularly care who her benefactors are, she doesn’t care that much about the war to the point she forgot she was supposed to be antagonistic towards the Horde soldier she was chatting with.  All she wants to do is study technology, build robots, and eat tiny food.

She could also very easily escape right now, and is just...being polite?  She’s not intimidated or worried, though part of that is that she doesn’t entirely grasp the nature of her situation.  But she’s got a captive audience and a special interest to talk about, and these people seem nice enough aside from shackling her to the wall, and that’s weird but it’s not the kind of weird that really pings her danger sense.  Maybe that’s just how people in the Horde have conversations!  Fright Zone log, hour 46.  I am conducting a social experiment!

Catra is such a fascinating villain, because in spite of everything, she cares.  She cares what happens to Adora.  She cares what happens to Shadow Weaver, despite all of the pain the latter has caused her.  She wants attention and approval...and to be cared about in return.

The tragedy of it is that she shunned the one who did, and stuck with the one who didn’t.
