Ah, I see what you mean! I misunderstood and thought that you said he doesn't feel pleasure.
Don't read further if you're not interested in discussing the matter further... it got long so I'm putting it under a read more :)
I guess it is a bit ambiguous in the end wether he actively wants sex or not since Shen Qingqiu won't admit it, but I do think he both desires/encourages it (in his own way), as well as enjoy it when it happens. At the very least, he gets annoyed when Luo Binghe doesn't try to be pushy with him. I think the most likely thing is that he'd rather do it less often than Binghe desires, but their current rhythm is already a compromise on that.
I mean, I see where you're coming from. I walked out of my first read crying blood because of their terrible sex life, lighting candles in my mind for Shen Qingqiu's pain and Binghe's inability. I used to agree it would be so nice if he didn't have to feel pain, and I thought they should switch or, yes, have non-penetrative sex... But with rereads and the good translation, given Binghe's extreme perceptiveness, and his ability to parse Shen Qingqiu's idiosyncrasies (at least by the end of the story) I have come to the conclusion that, despite what he says, even what he thinks (Shen Qingqiu is a big fan of manipulating his own thoughts), if Shen Qingqiu didn't desire it Binghe would stop, and Shen Qingqiu himself would put a stop to it. Once every three days at the minimum is A LOT to put up with when it's something one truly doesn't desire. They even say it at two different points - Luo Binghe that he would stop at a mere frown and Shen Qingqiu, finding the notion of Binghe forcing him ridiculous and wanting to reassure him, says that if he didn't want it then he wouldn't "allow" it. Of course, being forced and agreeing to make your partner happy and to feel close isn't the same thing, but it at least shows that for all their posturing and cajoling, they're aware of the option of just... not doing it if Shen Qingqiu doesn't want to ahah.
I've actually been pleasantly surprised to notice how much they actually communicate, how much Shen Qingqiu sacrifices his dear precious face in order to say what he actually feels/means/wants during their second first time at the bamboo house.
I'm going to speak about their sex scenes now, even though the topic isn't about if Shen Qingqiu enjoys them but if he actively wants them to happen to begin with, because I find it representative of the narration and how it presents Shen Qingqiu's thoughts and wants on this matter. So here goes:
Iindeed, Shen Qingqiu keeps saying that it hurts, even sometimes begging Binghe to stop, and keeps saying he is powerless or that it's unbearable... but it's very contradictory. First, because it's been established that Binghe would never do something Shen Qingqiu doesn't want to do, second, because the text will say it's painful then says actually it was passionate (I mean I believe him that it's painful but he downplays the passion), and Shen Qingqiu says stop and acts put upon in his own head but then he goes and "encourages" Luo Binghe with "passionate kisses".
It's rather confusing, but I think it just comes down to what we've all been saying in this fandom: Shen Qingqiu lies. Shen Qingqiu lies all the time, especially to himself. He lies about his feelings and he lies about his sensations and he lies about his desires (until he doesn't, and then we get a contradiction). For instance, during the wedding extra, Binghe gets more enthusiastic even as Shen Qingqiu begs to stop and calls for help in his head, all to get him to let go of his restraint and call him "husband". At first glance, it looks like the truth that it just hurts and that he really wants to slow down, but it doesn't make sense with Binghe's emotional intelligence, and his extreme care to not cross any lines, for him to ignore a true request to stop. When he finally caves in and calls him husband, it's him finally being able to let go and begging sweetly... a bit like Wei WuXian would do, except Wei WuXian has no shame whatsoever. Of course it spurs Binghe on. Then this happens:
Tumblr media
"Save me" he says, "In despair", he says. Hah! Bullshit. I think he's first, very overwhelmed, and second, incredibly turned on. Why else would he tighten up? His save me is just the overwhelmed thougths of one submerged inn both sensations and feelings. Quoth Shen Qingqiu: "Girl, help"
As for the blue parts, they show Binghe is not worried at all about Shen Qingqiu liking it because he's happily continuing and he's going with the subtext, not the text. He had to become an expert at the subtext with how bashful and prudish Shen Qingqiu can be. About emotions/vulnerability, that is, because he has no problems with sex in itself (*cough* brojob *cough*). This is why Binghe's strategy of being vulnerable is so efficacious: Shen Qingqiu fears being vulnerable and out of control above all else, and being in the throes of passion is both of these things. That's the true difficulty for him.
Tumblr media
This part is interesting because it shows what I was talking about: Shen Qingqiu is holding back as hard as he can. When he finally can't resist anymore he lets out a moan. And Luo Binghe loves it, loves all the sounds, because that's when Shen Qingqiu doesn't control himself anymore.
Also, it is essentially a fade to black that implies Shen Qingqiu is losing consciousness. But Luo Binghe is not at all interested in an unconscious Shizun, so that's obviously not what's happening here. Rather, as I was saying, Luo Binghe quite expertly drove Shen Qingqiu past his maze of a defence system and mental blocks. Shen Qingqiu is finally too overwhelmed to care about his thin face and he lets go, gives in to passion. His brain is not online anymore and the scene departs with it. Even the narrative is too bashful to show unbridled Shen Qingqiu, it seems.
The following morning is especially interesting, as Shen Qingqiu, still softened with sleep and their night of passion and the emotions of their wedding, openly stares appreciatively at his canonical "peerless beauty" of a husband while he's getting dressed... and even can't help but call him husband unprompted. He's a sappy, love-struck man with three thousand layers of denial to attempt to hide it behind his cultivated aloof façade. He does so love and adore being a poser.
What I've been getting at is this: if even the sex scenes are this much obfuscated, it's no wonder it's hard to tell if Shen Qingqiu truly wants sex or not. What I'm arguing is that it is proven Luo Binghe, for his part, knows, and wouldn't do it if the answer wasn't an unequivocal yes (unequivocal... in a Shen Qingqiu way). What I'm also arguing is that it takes dire circumstances (the Deep Dream, thorough overwhelming teasing, begging and love-making) to get Shen Qingqiu to admit he wants it. To get him to at least show it.
But with such a teasingly contradictory text, and also with pain* being so prevalent, I can see why one can be of the opinion that, were it not to please Binghe, he would rather just cuddle instead. I feel like that would mean the contradictions are meaningless, or an inconsistency, though, which would mean the writing is poor, and I find that unlikely. I think this is just what's expected of this kind of story, with this kind of character, with his values and his pride that he desperately clings to, and in the context of readers' expectations. It just does not translate very well.
*I have thoughts about the place and perception of pain in the narrative but this is already too long

Review: Scum Villain’s Self-saving System (SVSSS)
Tumblr media
Notes:
(Very) long post ahead
Contains spoiler
This is my personal review and does not represent the entire audience, you are free to agree or not agree with what I’ve written here
Feel free to reply/send me a message if there are things you want to discuss
Summary:
SVSSS tells the story of Shen Yuan, an avid web novel reader - particularly the stallion genre - who died suddenly from food-related incident after having just finished reading a famous (yet controversial) web-novel "Proud Immortal Demon Way".
Upon his wake, he discovered that he had been transmigrated into the world of that very novel, moreover into the body of the story's most-hated scum villain, Shen Qingqiu.
In his previous life, Shen Yuan had frequently criticized the "Proud Immortal Demon Way" and its author, "Airplane Shooting towards the Sky", for he found the web novel full of wasted potentials. Now having been sent to live in that novel's story, a mysterious system assigned him with a mission to fix the very plot he had been denouncing - and of course, to save himself from the tragic end of the original Shen Qingqiu, who was fated to be mutilated into a human stick by the story's protagonist, Luo Binghe, his own disciple.
STORY: 7/10
I personally have not read a lot of "isekai" stories. However, what makes SVSSS interesting to me, compared to most transmigration stories I've seen in the past, is because the main character was not thrown into a completely strange, unknown world, but rather into the universe of a novel he had been closely following up until the very last second of his life.
And what's more? He does not have complete freedom in modifying the story however he wants, but supervised by a mysterious system that will reward him for correct decisions, and punish him for wrong choices - with being deported to his original world as the ultimate punishment should his points fall below the set limit (a.k.a. he would really lose his life because he is already dead in his original world).
The fact that Shen Yuan, now living as Shen Qingqiu, possessing complete knowledge of the original story, yet still unable to foresee what butterfly effect his actions will cause to the plot and characters is perhaps the most appealing aspect of this novel.
Shen Qingqiu in his previous life was no different than us - a normal, modern young man from the 21st century. His thoughts and opinions on the situation, the way he reacts on certain matters, his internal monologues are all realistic and easily relatable. It feels as if I myself have partly become Shen Qingqiu, as well, looking at how the story progresses from a first person point of view, because if I were to be in his shoes, I would probably react in the exact same way as a modern person thrown into an ancient fantasy world.
Nevertheless, this "omniscient reader" point of view is not without a flaw. Although Shen Qingqiu himself is gradually blending in, accepting his new life in the ancient cultivation world and no longer seeing the other characters as mere "fictional characters", because his mindset is that of a modern man, I find it difficult for myself as the reader to perceive the world of SVSSS as an actual, stand-alone world. Until the very last page of the story, I still feel like I'm looking at a fictional world, feeling detached to the universe and characters because I'm not "living" in it.
Another aspect that I think could've been improved is the romance development between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe. I have full confidence that post-story Shen Qingqiu loves Luo Binghe with all his heart, but I seriously have no idea when and how he reached that point.
In the first half of the story, upon having accepted his new life as Shen Qingqiu, his feeling towards Luo Binghe is more like fondness and endearment. Perhaps he does like the character Luo Binghe, and considering that he, along with the rest of the web novel's readers, hated the original Shen Qingqiu to the core, of course he wants to treat Luo Binghe and the other characters better (otherwise, how could he save himself from that nightmarish fate as a human stick).
Later on, he learns of his mistake, how he could've made better decisions, and tried to understand Luo Binghe better, redeeming himself. Perhaps his love towards Luo Binghe began to grow along this path, but I honestly don't see it being told to me, as the reader. All of a sudden he is willing enough to "offer" himself to calm the maddened Luo Binghe. He's been proclaiming himself as a straight man all this time and never once did I see him agreeing with himself that he is going to accept his feelings for Luo Binghe. When I read this later part, I feel like I've just jumped over a huge chunk of development. Because up until that point, Shen Qingqiu still only gives me the feeling of a teacher who adores and cares for a special disciple of his.
All in all, if I were to summarized the plot, I think SVSSS is an interesting, curious story. The fact that Shen Qingqiu was tasked to fix the original novel's flaws makes me want to continue reading for as long as I can. What change is he going to make? What effect will be caused and what chain of events will follow? Furthermore, if you're looking for comedy, then you've come to the right place. With an internet-literate modern man experiencing living in an ancient, fantasy novel, Shen Qingqiu's reactions will never be boring to see. Even the banters and exchanges between characters are so realistic to the point that it is almost possible to imagine them visually.
Also, BingQiu is cute, I take no criticism.
CHARACTERS: 6/10
The distribution of that overall score of "6" is actually as follows:
3 --> Shen Qingqiu
1 --> Shen Jiu
1 --> Luo Binghe + Yue Qingyuan
0.5 --> Liu Qingge
0.5 --> Everybody else
Notice that in the previous section, I barely talk about any other character than Shen Qingqiu? It's not just because he is the main character, but because the other characters are seriously that un-interesting. In fact, I regret to say that personally, I think the characters are this novel's weakest point.
Or to be more precise, the characters' depth.
Shen Qingqiu by himself is a great character. He is calm, logical, knows when and where to put his "omniscient reader" knowledge to good use. He is effortlessly hilarious even if he himself doesn't realize it, but at the same time, despite the mountain of curses he often uses, he is still a good person at heart. I think he is the sole reason that the story could remain interesting until the very end.
But sometimes he is a bit too ideal, almost always having the correct solution and/or countermeasure to every situation even if the plot has changed massively from the original web novel that he knows. Especially when it turns out that he has discovered a way to revive himself after self-destructing at Huayue City, it makes his initially heartbreaking sacrifice less......touching. Because it feels as if he's been scheming this to be freed from the current ordeal, maybe to escape the system, as well.
Furthermore, no matter how much of an expert he was of the "Proud Immortal Demon Way" universe, he still just passed away and was transmigrated into a foreign world. Although the system initially banned him from being OOC, other than some panicky internal monologue, there was almost no trace of him looking distraught when being faced with the unthinkable situation.
Plus, Shen Yuan was different from Airplane Shooting towards the Sky who, even if he were to return to his original world, would have nobody waiting for him. The description of his family was pretty clear. Not only he comes from a well-off household, his family seems to be quite a happy and harmonious one (especially how he used to dote on his younger sister). How come there is not one single moment when he thinks about the family he has left behind and simply carries on with his new life as if nothing happened?
Now Luo Binghe, the second main lead and the one paired with Shen Qingqiu.
Before he fell into the Eternal Abyss, his character actually seems pretty solid. But post-darkening, I don't know why I can't get a good grasp of his character.
The "clingy, crybaby boyfriend" aspect is pretty clear, no complaint there (although the moments of his crying feels too comical for me). Other than that, I don't really feel the "powerful Demon Lord" vibe from him.
Yes, there are descriptions of how powerful he is, how frightening he can be. But it's just not solid enough for me. I understand that he is supposed to be a character with unstable mental, but there are simply not enough part where he is shown to be a proper, powerful Demon Lord because he keeps breaking down each and every single time. The "glass heart maiden" aspect isn't bad, but when it's used in an overly comical way, the character simply loses the charm he's supposed to have.
Even Yue Qingyuan, who's only a minor character, had such a strong charm that slaps you with the biggest plot twist in the whole story when it was revealed (to us, the readers) who he actually is.
Ironically, the original Luo Binghe (Bing-ge) was able to present the character's true image and complexity even if he only appear in less than 10% of the entire story.
And even more ironically, the original Shen Qingqiu a.k.a. Shen Jiu, is probably the most complex character to have ever existed in there (and he only appears in, what, a couple of extra chapters).
(You know what? If MXTX just goes with the original Luo Binghe x Shen Qingqiu, including all of their complexity, I think the development, conflict, and resolution could've been more deep and complex - but yeah, it ain't gonna be "Scum Villain's Self Saving System)
Liu Qingge is okay and actually quite lovable. It's just that I feel it's too easy for him to appear anytime, anywhere there is a problem, as if he's some easy way out.
Other than those I've mentioned above, I literally don't have anything to comment on the other characters because... I don't even know if there's anything to comment. They really come and go just like that and leave no big impression on me.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS: 6/10
This here is basically just some technical things that were a bit unfortunate, because if only they were improved, the story could've been better.
1. The story is clearly written from Shen Qingqiu's point of view, but it will suddenly switch to Luo Binghe's inner thoughts every now and then, making it inconsistent.
2. Description of time and environment. Sometimes it's really difficult to tell in what kind of place the scene is happening, whether it was day or night, whether the characters still remain in the same place or have move elsewhere. Transition when switching locations is also not described enough.
3. As much as I love the story, I feel like it's progressing too fast without any significant crisis. It just ends like that with no massive ordeal or mystery to be solved. I think this is related to Shen Qingqiu's "omniscient reader" point of view because it makes me feel like "hmm yeah, it's just another part of the story, they're going to go through this just fine"
Still, I understand that this is MXTX's first novel. In fact, most of the aforementioned issues (including the characters) have undergone immense improvement in her second novel (MDZS), so I don't think I have anything to worry about.
OVERALL SCORE: 6.3/10
It's worth to read, really. If you just want to enjoy a cool, funny, and cute "isekai" story, I can definitely recommend this. But don't expect some deep philosophical shit, because half of this novel is made of shitpost (I shit you not).
Moral of the story though?
See how market demand kills content creators' freedom and creativity.
Airplane Shooting towards the Sky, the author of the controversial stallion "Proud Immortal Demon Way" literally told Shen Qingqiu at the final chapter of the main story:
He's actually written deep, aesthetic stories before, but they were all unpopular. Only when he wrote this harem novel full of fan-service - disregarding plot depth, plot holes, cheap characterizations - did he finally gain popularity and was able to obtain sufficient income to feed himself.
He was grateful to Shen Qingqiu for "messing" up the plot of his novel, changing it into how it is now, because it allows everything he originally wanted to write - but couldn't - to come true.
In previous chapters, he also said that he actually wanted to make the original Shen Qingqiu into a three-dimensional, more complex characters, but the netizens didn't appreciate it and were complaining instead. Hence he was forced to make the original Shen Qingqiu into a plain old scum villain with no redeeming quality at all - even though in his original script, this character has a complex background that causes his current known personality.
Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua might be talking about it in their usual, funny bantering, but who dares to say that this isn't an issue being faced by almost all content creators in the whole world?
How many content creators have been forced to sacrifice the creativity value and quality of their work in order to satisfy the taste of majority?
How many content creators have been made to revise their works by editors in order to fit into a certain agenda or market trend?
Unless you're a massively popular creator or a powerful individual, chances are you will never have the chance to create a content you truly want to make for a living.
In any case, there may be other authors who are better than MXTX in this world, but I love her works because despite the fictional content, the comedy, the silliness, etc, there are still at least one aspect that reflects the situation of the real, current world, and when you realize it, the realization can be quite a slap to the face like "hey, wait a minute, she's right you know?" Still finishing old stuff. Have some reverse sex pollen.
Luo Binghe is crying and Shen Qingqiu can’t even comfort him. “Your husband isn’t mad. Mu-shidi said the effects would disappear by themselves in two weeks. We’ve been apart longer. It will be fine.”
Between sobs, Luo Binghe tries to speak. “It’s not the same! “
Of course it’s not the same, but they’ve been caught in much worse predicaments before. “Binghe is strong. He can handle it. Would it be easier on him if he returned to the demon realm and I remained at the sect by myself?”
“No! If I can’t even touch my husband, I at least want him by my side.”
“Then, this is where this master shall remain.”
Binghe reaches for him, and like all times before, he flinches in revulsion as soon as his hand brushes against Shen Qingqiu’s skin.
He starts crying even harder. “What if Shizun starts thinking I don’t love him anymore?”
Shen Qingqiu taps him with his fan. As long as their skin doesn’t touch, Binghe should be fine. “Where did he get the idea this master was this stupid? Luo Binghe has been poisoned. Of course I understand it’s not his fault.”
Luo Binghe sniffles. “Shizun doesn’t mind?”
Shen Qingqiu will never tell him he might be looking forward to two whole weeks of undisturbed rest. Sure, he’ll probably miss more casual forms of affection, but he’s pretty certain it won’t be anywhere near as hard for him as it will be for Luo Binghe. “I don’t. We’ll get through this.”
Luo Binghe wipes his eyes in a frustrated gesture. “If Shizun says so, it must be true.”
_____________
Shen Qingqiu never realised how often he actually touched his husband until he has to stop himself from doing it. Two days in, and the way Luo Binghe recoils when Shen Qingqiu forgets himself is already getting on his nerves.
It’s just that Shen Qingqiu always touched Luo Binghe. Redressing his clothes, arranging his hair, patting his shoulders. He always did it without thinking twice about it. He can’t remember how often he wiped tears off his weepy eyes.
Now all of this is forbidden to him.
It’s annoying.
_____________
Five days in, and Shen Qingqiu finds his gaze lingering on his husband. He has to shake himself away from his plush lips, his muscled frame, his large hands.
He’s being ridiculous and he knows it. Luo Binghe is the sticky one! It’s only been a few days. And his disciple is right here! He can talk with him whenever he wants. It should be more than enough.
He thought Luo Binghe would whine more. He thought he would keep on crying, lamenting that it’s a crime that he can’t have his husband. He thought Luo Binghe would be the one to snatch his hand back in dismay.
He was wrong. Luo Binghe is dealing with their situation much better than he expected. In fact, he seems content with their platonic cohabitation. He cooks for Shen Qingqiu like he always does, cleans around the house, chats with him happily.
Maybe he should have expected it. After all, his husband is the one whose desire for touch has been annihilated.
But surely he must feel lonely when he goes to bed in his childhood bedroom?
Shen Qingqiu does. His bed is cold without Luo Binghe to exude warmth.
He spends a lot of time cultivating.
_____________
There’s only two days left.
Shen Qingqiu can’t wait.
As much as it pains him to admit it, Luo Binghe trained him well. He’s used to sating the protagonist’s needs. He went so far as thinking about just… taking care of things quickly to help.
He didn’t, because he knows Luo Binghe would find out and tease him mercilessly after. Also, there’s two days left. He can take it.
Anyway, it wouldn’t help. Not really. Not when what Shen Qingqiu really misses is his husband.
_____________
One measly day before the poison is set to pass, Shang Qinghua shows up frazzled, carrying a message from Mobei-Jun demanding Luo Binghe’s urgent return to put down a revolt in the southern part of the realm.
Shen Qingqiu resolves to spend all his time until Luo Binghe returns filling out requests for funds, food, instruments, practise swords, ink and everything else he can think of to burrow Shang Qinghua under paperwork. If Shen Qingqiu is going to be separated from his husband, so can Airplane-bro. Let him taste how fun that is for himself.
_____________
Shen Qingqiu accepts Liu Qingge’s invite to go monster hunting without a second thought.
He needs to kill something.
_____________
“Shizun, I’m ba-“
At the moment, Shen Qingqiu couldn’t care less what Luo Binghe has to say. It can fucking wait until after he has reacquainted himself with the feel of his husband’s skin.
_____________
“Maybe I should get some of that poison for further use.”
Shen Qingqiu freezes. “No.” He’s not going through that hell again, not if he can help it.
“But Shizun was so affectionate after! It almost made up for all the time I couldn’t touch him.”
If Shen Qingqiu had any energy left, he would slap him. “Maybe it was simple for Binghe since he didn’t want to touch his husband, but not being able to slap some sense into his disciple wasn’t easy for this master.”
Luo Binghe straightens up beside him. “Shizun! How could you think that! Of course having to restrain myself was a challenge like no other. Even if I didn’t want to, I still wanted to.”
“Well, it didn’t look like it.”
Luo Binghe pulls Shen Qingqiu’s body into his. “Apologies to Shizun for having neglected him. Now that I am aware of how unpleasant this was for him, this disciple will make certain it never happens again, as long as Shizun promises the same to him. If I were the one Shizun couldn’t handle touching, I could never bear it with as much grace as he did.”
Shen Qingqiu has no desire for any version of this shitty event to happen again. “Fine. This master promises. Binghe has better keep his word.”
Luo Binghe turns Shen Qingqiu toward him and kisses him until the frown still lingering on his face fades. “Shizun apparently isn’t convinced his husband missed him.” His hand slides down the line of his back. “Can this disciple request permission to try and convince him otherwise?”
Encouraging Luo Binghe when he’s like this is the kind of choice that leads to Shen Qingqiu sequestering himself in his bed all day tomorrow. “You can try. It won’t be easy though.” It doesn’t matter much, since Binghe is back. His husband will relish the excuse to wait on him hand and foot.
“Thanking Shizun for his graciousness.”

I haven't read your reply only because I haven't finished the book yet but intend to so I don't want to spoil myself too much more.
But I dont mind your addition about Xie Lien at all! I'm actually really glad someone was able to weigh in considering I don't know enough about him to say
I just got the vibe he wasn't so actively like "I have a problem. I should actually die about it" only to get mad that he keeps sacrificing himself for others like Shen Qingqiu
Like that's the real interesting thing about Shen Qingqiu: his go to solution to problems and often his ONLY solution is to sacrifice himself for others but then he's mad about it? Like he was forced into it?
My guy! Literally no one wants you to do this! They are screaming, crying, throwing up to get you to stop and you keep stabbing yourself and saying "it's so fucked up you all are making me do this"
He's such a mess
Will hopefully remember this addition btw when I finish reading heaven offical's blessing
Wei Wuxian is, unfortunately, not the self destructive MXTX protagonist
He had phases:
Phase one: reckless teenager who just doesn't consider consequences because he's a dumb teenager. Not self destructive just high int low wis stat because he's literally like 15
Phase two: self destructive but in the "traumatised youth who is self medicating his pain away and also going through his tortured genius phase" which to be fair his peers were also going through their own mental health struggles at the time so no one was riding the mentally stable train. Even without dying this was hopefully a temporary phase. If he was a millennial he would have been really into My Chemical Romance during this time
Phase three: not self destructive, trying to get OUT of situations but still ending up IN situations despite his best efforts but generally giving off a "I'm a dad and too tired for this drama. I just want to go sight seeing"
Xie Lien from what I understand wasn't so much self destructive as deeply depressed (still haven't finished the book)
Shen Qingqiu on the other hand
The man never met an obstacle where he didn't at least consider literally dying as the solution
He tries to literally self destruct the first time during Sha Hualing's raid on Cang Qiong when poisoned hoping to take her out with him and is only stopped by Liu Qingge showing up
Actually self destructs when Binghe comes back to "fake" his death and also calm Binghe's ass down
His plant body death wasn't his fault I'll give him that
Risks death for Binghe in the mausoleum several times
Self destructs AGAIN at Maigu Ridge to restore Binghe's mind and only lives because the system took pity on him
I'm guessing the only reason he stops self destructing for Binghe is because Binghe destroys Xin Mo and maybe because he realised it makes Binghe too sad idk
Anyway Shen Qingqiu is the only truly and literally self destructive MXTX main character and that's why he's the best and worst and just most character ever

SV ch.64
I decided to give myself a reward, since I'm working very hard and all, so I said "okay girl, one chapter" and what did I do? I jumped on sv
We were left with the confirmation (that didn't surprise absolutely anyone) that father-in-law is batshit crazy, since it seems he wants to merge human and demon together. BUT WHY??? ISN'T HUMANITY ATROCIOUS ENOUGH? WHY DO YOU WANNA CREATE SO MUCH CAOS- wait, right, he is a demon, I'm stupid
EDIT:
Shen Qingqiu’s voice dropped low. “So this was the ‘present’ you wanted to send? Don’t you think it’s a bit too malicious on your part?”
always so refined when voicing his opinion, does it seem like he was kidnapped? yeah, pls, let’s just talk about the destruction of the world as we know it a bit more-
Tianlang-Jun rubbed his chin in contemplation, then spoke in that cultured tone of his. “I really harbor no ill will towards them at all–I love the human world very much, and it’s long been a long-cherished wish of mine for deeper communication between the two races.”
(that moment when you prefer being hated rather than loved)
EDIT 2: did i ever tell you i love it when shizun goes all shizun-ish on people? DID I? PROBABLY RIGHT? BLESS SHIZUN EVERY DAY, how he tries to make big boss reflet upon how foolish his idea is with such clever words.... AAAAAH I MISSED YOU SHIZUN! father-in-law is just too stubborn, in that charmingly evil kind of way, you know? he is all shrugging shoulders and “i’ll merge the two world and deal with death after. it’s not such a bad thing, a dead person or 290358598459034, no prob, i’ll deal with it ‘cause i love humanity!!”
like.... okay?
EDIT 3:
He turned so that Shen Qingqiu could no longer see his expression. He could only hear him sigh quietly. “Ah Xiyan, she really was…”
She really was…what?
Shen Qingqiu pondered over that subtle tone of his. Sweet and gentle? Pure and kind?
Tianlang-Jun continued, “Cold and ruthless. That was what I loved about her.”
OOOOOH THAT’S WHAT I CALL JUICY DETAILS!!!
EDIT 4:
Although Luo Binghe had never mentioned a word, Shen Qingqiu knew that deep inside, he often dreamed about what his birth parents would be like. He knew that he was born of a distinguished young woman and a powerful demon noble, but he could never put names or faces to them. So he always secretly imagined how it would be if they were still there…how tender and warm they would be, and how they would protect him from anyone that looked down on him.
BABE. OH BABE. OMG I CAN IMAGINE A YOUNGER LBH DREAMING ABOUT HIS FAMILY AND THINKING ABOUT HOW THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN WITH THEM IN HIS LIFE NOT KNOWING WHAT KIND OF PERSON HIS FATHER REALLY IS OMGGGGGGGGG I WANNA HUG HIM
BABE
I LOVE YOU, I’LL GIVE YOU ALL THE AFFECTION YOU NEED- i think a part of shizun wants to give him this, too. mama shizun. or daddy shizun. OOOOH IS THAT A KINK-
EDIT 5:
As soon as that demon girl that had been following him the entire time left, Shen Qingqiu immediately collapsed onto his bed in relief. He closed his eyes and waited for the dreamscape to descend.
doesn’t he seem eager to reunite with his lbh-
He didn’t know how much time had passed before he suddenly felt the moonlight quiver. Shen Qingqiu opened his eyes and saw Luo Binghe half-kneeling before his bed.
(BINGHE. BABE, YOU’RE SHIZUN IS THERE, HUG THE SHIT OUT OF HIM-)
EDIT 6:
“Luo Binghe, listen to me, there’s something very important here––” Shen Qingqiu had just begun speaking when Luo Binghe immediately tackled him.
OKAY W O W BLESS OMG-
EDIT 7:
He threw himself over Shen Qingqiu, who fell back onto the bed, his mouth sealed shut by a soft warmth on top of him. He couldn’t make the slightest sound and was forced to stare helplessly as his face grew furiously more red by the moment. Luo Binghe had no sense of restraint, and his kisses grew deeper and deeper like he was a small beast trying to devour his prey.
OKAY NO WHAT ARE THEY KISSING LBH IS  K I S S I N G HIM AND
IS
SHIZUN
BLUSHING
OH SWEET MOTHER OF GOD YES BLESS THIS WHAT HELP ICANTFREAKINGBREATH-
EDIT 8: i’m still trying to regain my ability to be alive ‘cause those fewline nearly KILLED ME-
EDIT 9:
Shen Qingqiu finally managed to catch his breath and commanded, “…….Luo Binghe, kneel properly now!”
mh, shizun, you don’t seem so angry for those kisses, muahahaha
Luo Binghe lifted the hems of his robes and immediately fell into a perfect kneeling posture.
“Do you know why you’re kneeling right now?” Shen Qingqiu asked.
Luo Binghe’s back was as straight as a board as he replied. “This one is but a lowly disciple, and yet assaulted Shizun……”
THANK YOU FOR KISSING THE SHIT OUT OF HIM. THANK YOU.
EDIT 10:
Shen Qingqiu chastised him. “Who told you to say that! This master will settle the matter with you later. Tianlang-Jun told you to hand over the Heart Devil sword and you just went ahead and gave it to him? I don’t remember teaching you to be such a……” Such a naive little girl1!
Luo Binghe replied, “I had no choice. Besides, it wasn’t anything particularly important, so why not hand it over?”
Wasn’t anything particularly important? This all-powerful treasure that most could cry and sob for but never even glimpse at! Even a mountain of riches couldn’t stand up to the prodigal son.
OKAY, yes, i love how he pointed this out because yeah, it’s such an incredible big deal, and yet lbh didn’t hesitate a second to hand it over, knowing that not doing it would mean harm shizun. he is so different from the original binghe, he cares about power only in order to protect shizun and that MAKES MY HEART GO ALL DOKIDOKI AND LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
EDIT 11:
His tone was rather like that of a petulant young woman, one who was always clinging onto her partner asking, “Do you really love me? Do you love your career more than you love me?”
i love shizun’s comparison, they are always so on point.
EDIT 12: WAIT WHAT THE FUCK
WHAT
THE
FUCK
I’VE BEEN TREACKED
Somehow it seemed like……this wasn’t a dream?
That meant…Luo Binghe was standing in his tent, and not just in his dreamscapes.
The one in front of him was the man himself!
THEY REALLY KISSED? NOT DREAM-KISSED BUT KISSED-KISSED?????????
MDOPVGKWERèOèEKèPEWR
BINGHE YOU ARE SO FUCKING BOLD
I LOVE YOU
ThEy KiSsEd siojrgpowkrgpowrklgpfvwlre
EDIT 12:
He no longer held the Heart Devil sword that could open a door to anywhere. Crossing the entire northern country to arrive here had to be well over a thousand miles.
HE LOVES YOU, HE WOULD FRIGGING F L Y SO THAT HE COULD COME AND SAVE YOU
EDIT 13:
Luo Binghe took advantage of his hesitation to press one leg up onto his bedside. Shen Qingqiu could almost taste the blood rising into his mouth, but he needed to maintain his dignity as Shizun. “Luo Binghe, ah Luo Binghe. Don’t you think you’re being too arrogant, far too conceited in your audacity? You’ve served yourself up on a silver platter. At least twenty percent of demons of the South are here, not to mention two powerful elders of your bloodline. If you’re discovered, you’re as good as dead!”
(I DON’T DETECT DISGUST, SHIIIIIIIZUN, YOU’RE BEING SO WORRIED AND PROTECTIVE- MY HEART, GUYS, MY HEARTOIEJRVIEJKSFIVKER
also, is it just me or imaging shizun trying to keep his back straight (AAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH) and his dignity intact while sultry-looking binghe tries to kiss him is the funniest thing ever?)
Luo Binghe replied, “Shizun, I couldn’t bear to stand by as you were stolen away. I was afraid he would activate the demonic blood within you. You can’t tell me to just sit there and wait. Shizun, please stop scolding me for this; I truly couldn’t hold back any longer.”
*swoon* omg binghe-
EDIT 14:
Zhuzhi-Lang’s voice carried in. “Master Shen3? Have you turned in already?”
As soon as he heard this, Luo Binghe’s eyes suddenly took on a murderous light as he turned towards the sound with an ice-cold glare. Shen Qingqiu was busy holding him down, giving him a stern look that told him not to be rash.
He didn’t know what was happening, but Luo Binghe’s face blushed quite red under that look, sending a shiver down his spine. Outside the tent, the demon army was patrolling, and inside the tent, there was nowhere to hide. With little other choice, he lifted the covers and Luo Binghe readily slid in.
OKAY HOW THE HELL
IS THIS SCENE SO FUCKING SEXY?
I’M SCREAMING
I AM CHOKING
MURDEROUS LBH MAKES ME SWOON BUT
STERN-LOOKING SHIZUN AND TREMBLING-M LBH
what did i do to deserve such a wonderful gift, WHAT-
AND BINGHE SLID UNDER THE COVERS OF SHIZUN’S BED
SHIZUN’S  B E D
ARE WE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE HERE ‘CAUSE I FEELING LIKE I AM GOING TO EXPLODE
EDIT 15:
Luo Binghe peeked out and asked suspiciously, “Why is that snake coming inside while Shizun is sleeping?”
jealous binghe is the reason why i am alive in this planet
EDIT 16:
Shen Qingqiu replied, “I was sleepy, and didn’t want to reply. Xizhi-Lang, you should go now.”
Zhuzhi-Lang was taken aback. “Didn’t we already agree during the day?”
[...] Luo Binghe poked his head out again and questioned him quietly, “What did you agree to?”
JEALOUS BINGHE 2.0 AND I’M FLYING AWAAAAAAAAAAY if i were you, i’d run away, zhuzhzuhzuzu
EDIT 17:
Zhuzhi-Lang asked, “Master Shen, will you be okay?”
Behind him, Luo Binghe suddenly tore off the blankets, his entire face full of rage. Shen Qingqiu expression didn’t change the slightest. “I’m used to it.”
Zhuzhi-Lang nodded, then turned and placed a golden stove on the small table beside them. Taking advantage of the moment, Shen Qingqiu waved a hand and forced Luo Binghe back under the blankets, covering him in an instant. By the time Zhuzhi-Lang turned back around, he was already back to standing as usual, not a single hair out of place. Zhuzhi-Lang took one of the burning red coals out and said, “Master Shen, please remove your overclothes.”
THIS IS SO FUCKING FUNNY HELP IT SEEMS ONE OF THOSE BAD FAMILY COMEDIES
EDIT 18:
Shen Qingqiu lowered his head and began slowly untying his waist sash. He was afraid of moving too quickly. If he actually took it all off, Luo Binghe would likely tear down the bed and Zhuzhi-Lang along with it. He moved slow enough to drive even the most patient man to frustration. After waiting for a long while, Zhuzhi-Lang finally couldn’t help but glance towards him. “Perhaps Master Shen’s fingers are having trouble? Would this one be able to help?”
Shen Qingqiu saw his gaze lifting towards him, and hurriedly pulled at the lapels of his robes, the outermost garment sliding easily off his shoulders.
THIS SCENE IS TOO MUCH. JUST IMAGINE LBH’S FACE RIGHT NOW, SOMEONE ELSE IS TOUCHING IS SHIZUN, SHIZUN IS TAKING PART OF HIS CLOTHES OFF IN FRONT OF SOMEONE ELSE AND HE HAS TO STAY HIDDEN
*whispers* and are you noticing how shizun’s reaction are getting milder and milder? look at that (trying to not provoke lbh’s rage) when zzhzuhzuzhz offers to help-
EDIT 19:
Luo Binghe silently threw his palm forwards, sending a massive wave of black Qi towards Zhuzhi-Lang’s back. Shen Qingqiu suddenly waved his hand and smacked the piece of coal right out of Zhuzhi-Lang’s grasp.
The coal rolled across the ground and out of the tent. Zhuzhi-Lang, who was smacked for absolutely no reason, was left at a complete loss. Shen Qingqiu explained apologetically, “My hand slipped.”
IS THIS NOVEL TRYING TO KILL ME BY MAKING ME LAUGH TO DEATH?!?!?!?! THE SPECTACULAR DUO
THEY ARE SO CLUMSY OMG
EDIT 20:
He beckoned with his finger and the fallen garment flew into his hand. He threw it onto Shen Qingqiu’s shoulders. “Put it on!”
[...] Shen Qingqiu spoke, “Why? I’m going to need to take it off anyway.”Luo Binghe replied angrily, “…Why is it that Shizun has to take off your clothes and let him stare are you?”
JEALOUS LBH 3.0 i think i’m gonna make a list with my jealous lbh favorite moments, what about it
EDIT 21:
Zhuzhi-Lang asked, “Master Shen, didn’t you just say ‘not on the bed’?”
Shen Qingqiu smiled a little. “Oh? Really? Did I say that?”
Having to cover it up in a rush, he had accidentally sat right on top of Luo Binghe…….
But sitting like this was actually not bad–Luo Binghe finally obediently stopped moving.
bet lbh is elated
EDIT 22: OKAY BUT CAN WE STOP FOR A SECOND AND JUST READ THIS
“Is Master Shen not hot?”
“It’s not hot.”
"Then, Master Shen, doesn’t it…hurt?”
“It doesn’t hurt,"
“Several times before, Master Shen always seemed extremely reluctant. Tonight you’ve finally taken the initiative, as it should be.”
“Is this enough?”
“Yes, this is fine.”
AND THINK ABOUT WHAT IT MAY SEEM LIKE IN LBH’S HEAD? I AM DYING. I THINK HE IS DYING TO KILL ZHZUHZUZHZU
EDIT 23:
Shen Qingqiu was overjoyed. Luo Binghe was probably approaching his limit too. But who knew that Zhuzhi-Lang wasn’t quite done speaking yet. “Junshang has just said that tonight, he too wanted to stop by…”
He hadn’t even finished his sentence when Luo Binghe finally couldn’t take it anymore and stood up violently.
OH SHIT

It’s part two of the MoShen thing, now with actual, somewhat porny MoShen!
Shen Qingqiu stares at Mobei-Jun, who looks just as unfazed as usual, and despairs. What is he supposed to do!? Is he supposed to make the first move? How should he approach this?
He should probably start by making sure Binghe didn't coerce him. Even if the idea of someone forcing Mobei-Jun to do anything is ridiculous, if anyone could, it would be Binghe, great demon king that he is. "Whatever Binghe told you, you don't have to do this if you don't want to. I wouldn't say a word either way."
Mobei-Jun stares at him impassively. "I want to."
Shen Qingqiu freezes. He… wants to?
Why? Is Shen Qingqiu demon catnip? Mobei-Jun isn't quite Luo Binghe levels of gorgeous, but he could easily snag a wife or ten.
Mobei-Jun doesn't have to be aware of his incomprehension. "I see." It's… nice to be wanted, he guesses.
A cool hand finds its way to his cheek. Since Shen Qingqiu has seen an impertinent rival take back the hand he'd put on Mobei-Jun's arm with a hiss, he's thinking this is a deliberate effort, for which he's grateful. "Are you not willing?"
Right. This is happening. Mobei-Jun is worrying about his consent. "I agreed to it."
Mobei-Jun follows his hand's path, growing closer and closer. "Then, let me."
Shen Qingqiu tries to kill the butterflies multiplying in his stomach, but still, his voice won't come. He can only nod in answer.
He gets chill lips against his in response, and for a moment the sheer dissociation takes him over. He's really kissing someone who isn't Binghe.
Shen Qingqiu honestly never thought this would happen. He had made a commitment and had every intention of respecting it. But, well, he still is, right? He's doing this with Binghe's blessing.
There's a tongue now obviously begging to be let in. Shen Qingqiu opens up by reflex, only because this is what he does when Binghe acts like this. He doesn't have to think about it.
But this isn't Binghe! Just because they sort of feel similar, both of them being demon kings and all, doesn't mean Shen Qingqiu should react the same way to them!
He can't deny he is though. It just feels natural to answer to demonic qi meddling with his. Even if Mobei-Jun himself is nothing like Binghe regarding either looks or personality.
Mobei-Jun's kisses aren't anything like Binghe's. He kisses almost tentatively, like he's afraid Shen Qingqiu will break if he pushes too much. Nothing like his husband's devouring passion or his boundless tenderness when Shen Qingqiu is concerned. Surely part of it is the novelty of the experience. Maybe when they become familiar with each other this will change.
If. If they become familiar with each other.
The point is, Shen Qingqiu isn't a fragile flower, and Mobei-Jun isn't wooing him. Since they're doing this, and he still can't believe he is, he would prefer to get it over with. But how to say so without losing face?
Maybe if he… insists a little bit, Mobei-Jun will get it?
Shen Qingqiu tries to deepen the kiss, and with great daring he puts one of his hands on Mobei-Jun's neck, making sure not to flinch at the feel of the cool skin.
And why do demons have such fair skin anyway? It's weird! They should have scales or hair or something, not flawless planes of white jade!
But Mobei-Jun does not get the message. He's still disarmingly gentle, as if scared he'll spook Shen Qingqiu off. Also, Mobei-Jun's hand still hasn't moved from his cheek.
Shen Qingqiu is starting to get annoyed. "Didn't this master give you his consent? I am not skittish. You can go ahead." Before he does lose his courage and scamper off.
Mobei-Jun frowns. "You're human."
"...Yes?"
"You're fragile."
Not compared to 99% of the human population, but for a demon Lord, maybe he appears as spun glass.  "Not this fragile."
"I don't understand."
It's Shen Qingqiu's time to be confused. "What is it you don't understand?"
"I was told I handled humans too roughly."
Since the only human he handles regularly is Shang Qinghua, that's not exactly a lie. “As long you don’t go out of your way to try and hurt me, I’ll be fine.” He can take Binghe without pain now; he can take Mobei-Jun.
The frown doesn’t lift. “Not hurting you isn’t good enough.”
“…Surely you know how this works?” He can’t be a virgin, can he? Binghe wouldn’t let him in the hands of a novice.
“Yes. It’s just that humans are different.”
Are they? Shen Qingqiu only has Luo Binghe as a reference point, and he grew up surrounded by humans. And how exactly did he end up teaching sex ed to grown ass adults? “How?”
“You bruise and bleed at the slightest touch.”
“Luo Binghe never left a mark on me that wasn’t deliberate and consensual. I’m sure you can do the same.”
But Mobei-Jun hesitates, obviously still wary of hurting Shen Qingqiu. At least that’s much better than being thrown on the bed and ravaged without consideration.
It is!
Anyway, he's gonna have to do something or they'll be there all day. He can’t imagine what Binghe would do if they never went farther than heavy petting. He’d probably consider it a personal offense. Was his own husband not attractive enough for Mobei-Jun? Or he would just be unable to accept it. The way Luo Binghe seems to think Shen Qingqiu was a constant temptation for everyone instead of himself being the outlier could be charming, but most of the time it just left Shen Qingqiu confused, not to mention it got him into this mess. He’s not bad looking, but hasn’t Binghe seen himself? Has he never spotted the lustful gazes his underlings favour him with, or the jealousy and hatred Shen Qingqiu is exposed to the moment he leaves his quarters in the palace without Luo Binghe by his side to terrify them into complacency? Shen Qingqiu should be the one worrying!
If his husband was anyone else but Binghe. Shen Qingqiu knows the idea of his disciple straying is ridiculous to the extreme.
Since said disciple is more than fine with him straying as long as he can choose who it is with, and that will never not be strange, he should get to it. If Mobei-Jun is fine with kissing him gently for hours, he’ll have to be the one to push. He steadies himself before starting to remove Mobei-Jun’s outer robe.
Mobei-Jun doesn’t struggle. He lets Shen Qingqiu undress him with a sort of fascinated passivity that Shen Qingqiu himself tries to handle with grace, unsure of how successful he is, until he has a different naked demon king in his bed and he’s trying not to die of embarrassment. He should remove his own clothes, shouldn’t he? And not stare. And not feel like he’s a frog readying itself for dissection.
And just stop stalling. With hands he does everything he can to stop from shaking, he goes for his robes, only to find his hands trapped in Mobei-Jun’s. He distantly remarks they’re also much bigger than his own, though Luo Binghe still dwarfs him.
“Let me.”
Shen Qingqiu shrugs helplessly. “Feel free.”
He shouldn’t be surprised Mobei-Jun feels none of the shame Shen Qingqiu fights at every instant. He feels himself blush under the too attentive stare. He’s probably being found lacking. Against the flawless bodies that populate their courts, Shen Qingqiu must not be much to look at. He’s going to die if he has to tell Luo Binghe nothing happened because Mobei-Jun couldn’t get it up for him.
“You’re quite similar to most high-ranking demons.”
“Were you expecting something else?” Who could tell what rumours demons tell about humans? Maybe Mobei-Jun had weird expectations or something?
“Not especially, but I don’t know much about humans. I’m curious.”
“Why? You must already know all you need to handle the few humans you meet.” Mobei-Jun almost never goes to the human realm without an express order from Luo Binghe. He has his own domain to rule over, and duties keeping him busy here. Shang Qinghua tells him all he should be aware of.
A flash, there and gone on Mobei-Jun’s usually expressionless face. “I don’t know anything about them like this.”
This being… during sex?! Mobei-Jun wants to fuck a human!?
It does not take a genius to figure who, exactly, Mobei-Jun wants. The candidate pool is pretty thin. Binghe, did you know? Did you pimp me out to Mobei-Jun so that he wouldn’t be clueless when he took your creator to bed? Where in Shen Qingqiu’s job description did sex education came in? Just because it turned out that way for you didn’t mean I wanted to make a career out of it!
At least he understands why Mobei-Jun agreed now. This is something he probably can’t learn from his usual conquests. Hell, as the only male human married to a male demon, he’s the best person for this.
Shen Qingqiu might as well help. Just because he often wishes Shang Qinghua would die in a fire doesn’t mean he wants his first time with Mobei-Jun to be as painful as theirs was.
He’ll owe him so much. “I see. Well, as far as I can tell there aren’t many physical differences between us.”
Mobei-Jun’s slightly cool hands decide to rest on his hips to pull him toward him for a kiss that’s a bit more devastating now that Shen Qingqiu can feel all of Mobei-Jun against him. The change in temperature makes him shiver.
It’s only that making him shiver. Nothing more.
Maybe Mobei-Jun took Shen Qingqiu’s removal of their clothes as approval, because if he is still gentle to the point of tenderness, he allows his hands to acquaint themselves with Shen Qingqiu’s body in slow, lingering movements, as if studying every inch of his skin.
He tries not to react, but when Mobei-Jun stops kissing him to bite, hard, on his neck, the noise he lets out is not a moan of pleasure but a cry of pain.
Mobei-Jun pushes back, obviously startled.
Blood drips down. Shen Qingqiu breathes deeply and focuses his cultivation on what is still mostly a superficial wound. He can deal. He was just startled.
So this is why Mobei-Jun needs help. Those demons really do enjoy pain. “That was too much for most humans. It hurt. Light biting is fine, but if you’re drawing blood you’re probably going in too strong.” That’s not his thing, and from everything he knows of Shang Qinghua, it’s not his either.
Mobei-Jun looks as contrite as he can look. Shen Qingqiu might find himself melt a little. Can’t stay mad at those demon lords, damn it.
He sighs. “Here.” He pulls Mobei-Jun down toward him and presses his own teeth on his skin, just strong enough to leave a faint mark. He’s pretty sure he could go harder without problems, but the point is to show how an average human might enjoy it.
Mobei-Jun presses his fingers to the bite on his neck, looking at him with a slightly unfocused gaze, and Shen Qingqiu wonders if he was a bit too forward, before he’s dragged right into Mobei-Jun’s lap, and hello Mobei-Jun’s ridiculously large erection, fancy seeing you there. Honestly, Shen Qingqiu hadn’t expected anything less. He’d only hoped for at least not bigger than Binghe, which he got. That’s fine with him.
Which reminds him: insist on prep. A lot of it. And lube or something similar.
Mobei-Jun starts touching him again, but his touch is now much more insistent, pressing into his skin with a strength that’s controlled but still very obvious. Said strength isn’t doing anything for Shen Qingqiu, of course. Those large hands pressing on his skin, intent on finding all of his weak spots, don’t feel especially good or anything. He doesn’t push back into them. At all.
Mobei-Jun is less cool now.
Not warm enough not to cause his nipples to harden with Mobei-Jun pinches one lightly. Shen Qingqiu bites back a gasp, but not quickly enough for Mobei-Jun not to catch it. A second later, his mouth latches on Shen Qingqiu’s chest and Shen Qingqiu stops trying to silence himself. He allows Mobei-Jun to pull moans out of him, letting the sounds act as a guide to what he enjoys.
When Mobei-Jun frees him, his chest is sore and reddened, but pleasantly so. No blood has been drawn this time.
“It was fine?”
Shen Qingqiu blushes. He tries to make himself sound somewhat proper. He suspects he fails. “It was fine.” Like he can’t see how much Shen Qingqiu enjoyed it when he’s sitting on his lap. Or like Shen Qingqiu can’t feel the hard cock nudging his.
He still flinches when long fingers slide from his hips to between his cheeks, spreading him open. Prep! He won’t just try to shove it in there, will he?
Before he can protest, Mobei-Jun pulls out a vial of what is obviously some form of lubrication, so he calms down. He coats his fingers with a generous dose too, so they’re okay with that.
Mobei-Jun follows his gaze, as if checking that Shen Qingqiu is still on board, which, yes, continued consent is great! You’re going to need to do that if you want to keep yourself from spooking Shang Qinghua.
He tenses a bit when he feels the tip of a finger brush against his hole. It’s stupid. He can take Binghe; he can take anything Mobei-Jun throws his way.
Mobei-Jun kisses him again, always gentle. Shen Qingqiu feels some of the nerves fade. Mobei-Jun won’t just jab it in. He’s been trying too hard not to hurt him. He’ll be kind.
The finger teases the rim for a bit before pushing inside slowly.
Right, not a virgin. It’s not the first time he’s doing this. Not at all. Shen Qingqiu has nothing to say to Mobei-Jun about his fingering technique, he gets full marks. His reward is Shen Qingqiu trembling in his lap, riding his fingers and moaning softly, his hard cock bobbing gently.
Shang Qinghua is going to be a lucky bastard at some point. If those two idiots can get their heads out of their asses.
When Mobei-Jun pulls out, he leaves Shen Qingqiu an eager, trembling mess who instinctively lies back on the bed and spreads his legs to welcome him. The sight gets a rare inhale from his mostly silent partner and a body immediately covering his, looking for his mouth while finding his way between his thighs, sliding inside with ease. Shen Qingqiu is too used to receiving Binghe for this to be a hardship. Mobei-Jun is of a comparable size, but nothing he can’t handle. His legs wrap themselves around Mobei-Jun, trying to pull him deeper inside, now.
But Mobei-Jun remains maddeningly slow, teasing him with thrusts that only leave him wanting more. Shen Qingqiu can hear himself whine, trying to ask for what he wants but unable to find the words.
A distant part of his brain reminds him Mobei-Jun is afraid of hurting the fragile human, so if he wants more he’s going to have to ask for it. “More.”
Mobei-Jun stares at him in apparent fascination, but he doesn’t. speed. up!
Shen Qingqiu digs his nails into his sides in retaliation.
Mobei-Jun’s rhythm stutters.
Shen Qingqiu scratches him harder.
Mobei-Jun pushes in, hard. “Yes! There!” He’s finally getting the message! He’s getting pounded into the mattress, just like wanted. Now all he needs is to touch himself and-
Mobei-Jun slaps his hand away and growl at him. Shen Qingqiu whines in response, both outraged at being denied and turned out by that loss of control from a man who spent the whole night trying to restrain himself.
A huge hand starts stroking him to the rhythm of the thrusts, and that’s it, that’s all he wrote, Shen Qingqiu is coming and probably screaming Mobei-Jun’s ears off.
It doesn’t take long for him to feel warmth inside of him, Mobei-Jun snarling his name in his neck.
…So that happened. Will probably happen again very soon, because he adapted to Luo Binghe’s libido and so will be able to go again in no time, and Mobei-Jun must be like his master in that way. Luo Binghe wouldn’t have sent him to the bed of someone he didn’t think would be able to satisfy him. There’d be no point.
Sure enough, Mobei-Jun isn’t softening inside of him. Shen Qingqiu feels lips on the side of his neck and hands travelling up his torso.
The night has barely begun.
