Man I am on a roll with all these tadc aus I'm putting my ocs in (like 3 so far), today's victim is @samicarabarbaru2137 's shelter au! (A world where everyone is cats? Sign me up!)

Tepp was from a neglectful home where she was able to run away with caine finding her not long after, she wasn't given any vaccinations and had some untreated wounds, caine tried his best but she had to be put down just over a year later, luckily she was very loved by the others and had a particularly close bond with kinger and queenie so her last days weren't all too bad.

Bluebell was a stray all her life until caine found her, she doesn't meow which made caine worried for her but the vets assured him she just wasn't talkative, she formed a close bond with ragatha and her coller was sorta a gift from ragatha as caine saw her playing with it and decided it would be a perfect fit for Bluebell (she also has a cat toy she's attached to that isn't drawn here, woops!)

Tresha was also a stray when caine found her but her collar suggests she once had a home, or maybe someone who cared for her, she surprisingly got accustomed to the shelter pretty quickly and became what caine would describe as friends to gangle and zooble, she likes to hang around near the neighbours too, much to caines dismay.

Btw tepp and bluebell are kittens because they are like 6 and 14, so they're like half the height of the others

Doodle in the shelter au

He’s a blind cat who is brought to the shelter with his brother Hunter they were both mauled by dogs and had to be stitched up doodle, got the worst of it, losing his vision and his blind now but he’s OK. He actually likes staying in the shelter and is very close with Caine he doesn’t believe in the rumors about Caine since his brother shields him from the truth

so my plan/outline for my multi chapter fic is done and it is already a total of 22.5k words... literally the longest thing i’ve ever written

im thinking it’ll be roughly 16 chapters including an epilogue and maybe 40-50k words overall which, if i actually finish, i will be so chuffed with i think i might give myself the next ten years off in celebration

anyways.. now i’ve finished that, im going to work on it bit by bit until it’s finished but i will also be writing shorter one shots etc. to give myself a break, so hopefully i’ll get something out in the next few days!
