I finally found my Charlie Cox autograph again!

I’ve not been a big fan of Matt Murdock/Daredevil until watching SheHulk, so it’s even funnier that I have this photo.

Okay, not so funny because I went to his table looking for a photo of Charlie as Tristan Thorne from Stardust, so I asked his table help if there were any. Charlie heard me say “Tristan Thorne,” and stopped a convo he was having and asked “Tristan?” and I answered in the affirmative.

He apologized profusely for not having any at the con, he and his team thought no one would know him from that movie, and told me to pick any image from the table and he’d sign it free of charge. I picked this one because it was the only other role I knew him, tbh. (I mean, duh… it has Charlie, Ben Barnes, AND Henry Cavill in it. Of course I’m going to know it.)

We chatted a bit about Stardust, about how we were liking the convention, and then he noticed my con badges on my lanyard. Okay, so I wear several con badges on at a time so I can make a fan out of them to cool myself off when the heat gets too bad, and he noticed that I had several and wanted to see them all. 4 DragonCon, 1 Wizard World, and 1 Fanboy Expo, and he wanted to know about each convention they represented, if I liked them, and if I’d met anyone interesting. I said for 2015 that he was my interesting, so he signed my badge, too, but unfortunately, that rubbed off later that weekend.

Anyway, sorry for boring y’all with the story, it I just wanted to share that I found my autograph, and I had a great interaction with him.

But I did just get she-hulk last night and finally got to experience the wonders of dropping 44 power on the final turn because moongirl turn 4, pass turn 5, 2 shehulks for 1 energy each + 2 deaths for cheap.

Best of 2022: Best Female

Best Female: Nadja (What We Do in the Shadows)

If you look up girlboss in uber dictionary, you won’t see a picture of Nadja from What We Do in the Shadows. But you should! She is a strong female who needs no man but sure wants one around and still gets things done. 

Nadja can do it all. Seriously. She traveled to Europe to join the Supreme Council with hopes to make love to Laszlo while doing kickbutt work. Only to find out that Laszlo didn’t go and she got stuck with bunch of stuffy shirt old men. And you know what she did? Still kicked butt and…well…Not did anything. But she sure did try and did it any ways when she came back home. Nadja went ahead and built that Vampire Nightclub of her dreams. With the blood sprinklers that didn’t work until needed to! But she did it anyways!

Nadja was pretty amazing this season and I really think we don’t talk enough about that. She was also pretty happy too. She finally made friends with The Guide and even Marwa. Over all, besides losing the nightclub in her greed, was all gains for Nadja this season. She even got girls night to watch Momma Mia. Plus! She finally has the chance to watch Momma Mia 2: Here We Go Again. All plus and no loses. Except for the nightclub. 

All in the while she was still playing nice with the rest of the gang. I really liked that this season we got more of Nadja just doing her. Being the best dressed and most successful vampire in the show. 

And she finally got Laszlo to get rid of his stupid cursed hat. Nothing but gains. All respect for the girlboss vampire of Staten Island.

My Honorable Mentions for Best Female

 1) Jen (SheHulk: Attorney at Law)- She handle everything thrown at her with stride and epic 4th wall breaks.

2) Yor (SpyxFamily)- For being a fake mom, she really trying her best with dealing with a five year old.

3) Barabra (Abbott Elementary)- She really is the mom of the school and love how she can get things done.

She Hulk breaking the fourth wall, diving through the Disney+ Screen, bursting into the writers room, and then speaking with to a robot named K.E.V.I.N to rewrite the plot of the fucking show made me genuinely question my mental state. Like, I know deep down that I'm sober....but I'm actually questioning it.
