everyone join sheezyart, i need it to replace deviantart (also they're way cooler & anti AI & have profile customization dA could never DREAM of)

like. i logged into deviantart yesterday. and saw the official deviantart team page promoting AI grifters who make $11k+ a year on their website selling "adoptables". instead of, y'know, real artists? who actually deserve the money? and in that moment i realized i could not fuckin' use deviantart anymore, they'll sell out to the highest bidder. fuck 'em. my deviantart has become a sheezyart shill page.

Has a GREAT tagging system that is upheld both by mods and the community! See someone missed a tag on their piece that should probably be there? You can suggest that they add it through a form!

Allows ns/fw!! With both mature and explicit filters!!

You can adjust your filters for your own comfort! You can choose NOT to see Mature works, and you can block specific tags!

You can customize your page! A background! A page doll! Even a custom cursor! It's super fun!

3 bucks a month minimum for an instant sign up AND you benefits from doing so!

Sheezy allows you to upload 5 pictures every 24 hours if you have a free membership, but allows 10 if you pay the 3 usd a month-- And allows MORE if you support them through their higher tiers on Kofi or Patreon. it's currently still in Beta, which is why free sign ups have a limited time frame at the moment, though they'll be going 100% public soon enough!

Definitely give them ur support! They're a small team, doing this out of a labor of love for art and artists. Hosting a website costs though, so every dollar they get definitely helps.

I've had a GREAT, very chill time on Sheezy, and I genuinely cannot sing its praises enough.

Made this for sheezyart's january art challenge :3

I forgot to post it here when i originally drew it about last week so i decided "fuck it, let's post it at the end of the month" (this is a scheduled post from monday)

The prompt for this month was "fight the power" so i chose to draw cierra since her whole character arc in my story is her fighting against her oppression as a witch :P (also not to brag, but i got the ACTUAL CREATOR OF THE WEBSITE to like it which is cool)

when the site opens up registration again, i defs encourage any artists to take a look!! it's fun and customizable and has a hard no ai/nft stance among other things. they're consistently adding new features and working on improving accessibility so! yeehaw!

hi I just wanted to say thank you for your post about sheezy.art! I didn't know that existed, saw your post, checked the site out, signed up, and I am having so much fun so far! ...And being reminded how much stuff I missed from older internet days (I have started putting stamps on my profile. I forgot how much I loved stamps) - which is fun! Just... Thank you for sharing that existed! I never would have known otherwise and I'm so glad I know about this now??? :D

o7 I'M DOING MY PART TO SPREAD THE GOOD WORD OF SHEEZYART. I hope they seriously up their marketing efforts once the site comes out of beta next January, this site seriously needs more people and I am not kidding when I say I want it to become the next deviantart. It really is just Deviantart But When It Was Good, the deviantart of my late 2000s and early 2010s childhood.

I do not like modern internet design at all, but sheezyart gets it all right. Even my very few nitpicks can be excused by the fact the website is in beta, and they're still working on getting everything up to their standards. I need to get more stamps on my profile, it is The Way Of The Art Websites. and the biggest perk is again they are very anti-AI so all the artists are Real !!!!!!!!!

tired of the rapid eshittification of the internet? join sheezyart. tired of websites selling you out to train AI datasets? join sheezyart. miss Old School Deviantart? join sheezyart. need a new art website that actually respects you as an artist? join sheezyart. love super advanced profile customization? join sheezyart. even if you're not an artist, join sheezyart, cuz every art website needs a non-artist demographic to enjoy our works!!

if we want alternatives to the corrupt self-serving social media platforms, we have to support their competitors and help them get off the ground, so that one day they may have enough support to stand face-to-face with them.

The past week has been nothing but lovely since coming back and I'm so excited to meet more people 💕its like a beautiful blend of old DA, tumblr side blogs, TH's pretty customizable pages, and bluesky's custom feeds. They're against AI and NFTs too. Obviously its still in beta so there will be bugs that need to be worked out, but so far everything seems incredible

currently there's a limit of being able to post 5 images every 24 hours, but honestly?? that's been amazing so people don't flood each other out too much trying to catch back up. lets you easily space out your uploads and find others easily

I really hope it continues to thrive and everything goes well. Its been so long since I've really had a place where I felt like I fit. I hated twitter with a passion and struggled to get into tumblr since I'm not really someone who reblogs funny stuff since that's not what I'm here for. The only way to really get noticed is to hope and pray someone more popular reblogs your stuff which :'D. I still absolutely love toyhou.se and have been enjoying bluesky so far, but they aren't exactly meant to be art gallery sites and have that kind of community.

also if u do decide to join I highly recommend TweakSheezy its super nice for tweaks you might wanna make :D

you can also make silly little pin boards of things ur interested in, art you've gotten, or just random memes if you wanted to its so funny how I've been seeing people use them

I turned mine into a shrimp tank that people can draw a shrimp to put them in the tank, and it leads you to their profile when you click them (bc yes you can link credits to the images!!!)
