Talked about Rose here, but Clare! Clare’s honestly inspired a lot by a couple kids I knew in high school (nerd about two specific films) (No Social Cues yet high functioning autism but Struggling w it), and also very much built off of Rose. NSBU is meant to teach you something about yourself– Rose is a Hots and Wits based character, and so I wanted to create someone who is utterly uncomfortable with trying to be sociable– through the time they spend in NSBU, they learn socializing does not Need to follow a script :)
