Love watching various hermit streams and videos and just watching the different ways they behave while conversing with eachother. Watching Scar's stream now and he and Ren are just standing so still while talking which is so very different from when I watch Pearl, Gem, or Impulse streams because they will have just as focused conversations but they'll be jumping around and stimming the entire time

It was recently my friend's birthday and I made her a painting. She's a very vibrant young woman, filled with passion and the need to live. She loves swords and all things Celtic, Norse and Greek mythology; so, I decided to her as a nymph type creature or perhaps as the lady of the lake. Mostly I drew her like this because of a photo I saw on Pinterest of someone standing in a murky lake holding a sword and I immediately thought of her. She's been with me through thick and thin, since my very first day at middle school and she'll be with me through to my very last day at high school. She's been there through the ups and downs, and I've been there for her. She's much stronger than people realise, and I feel she sometimes aches to let others know that she has seen and felt so much more than she lets on. But, I drew her with a peaceful look upon her face because I feel she really needs a good rest, real peace. We all could, but the way school challenges her is harsh. Yet, she pushes on, building herself a loving future day by day. I see her, and I admire her very much. Having her arms around me feels like home.

Today is hubby’s grandma’s 90th birthday and if I could be like anyone, it would be that kind, loving, generous, resilient, take-no-shit, badass force of nature. I love that woman as if she was my own grandma, and I’m so glad my gremlins get to know their awesome GG. I hope we get as many more good years with her as we can.

Open post-Christmas starter!

She was positively beaming from ear to ear. This wasn't even her first Christmas in Garnet's home; but even three years on, they were still finding new and exciting ways to surprise the 12-year-old.

Still clad in her favourite festive sweater, the one with candy canes depicted all over it, even though Christmas day was a few days behind them at this point, Vanellope wasted no time in guiding the other through the beach house and upstairs to her bedroom. Laid out on the floor before them, in amongst a satisfying number of other presents, was her new pride and joy.

"It's the most modern Scalextric track kit! Now I can play at being a racer in real life, not just in video games! And it's totally got a butt-tonne of impressive features, too."

She'd never had one of these before, but she'd sure ogled them in the catalogues plenty of times. Looked like someone had finally taken notice.

Dancing On My Own starring Ash the Villain and Crystal Methyd, the vaguely baffling but still somehow entertaining M Night Shyamalan quasi-horror film. Critics are raving with a 7.8 score on IMDB and a general consensus of 'far too over-saturated with the colours, but still oddly watchable!' (thanks Janeway 💜).

Fingers crossed for a dedicated queer fan base that somehow greenlights a cash grab sequel 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Tsukasa's words, at first, bring a genuine smile to the Protector's countenance. It's not often that she gets to hear actual positive affirmations such as these, however just as quickly as the smile appeared on her face, its strength waned the more he spoke.

And yet, there's nothing she can say to refute his statement. Every word he says is true, no matter how much she believes the opposite. How often is it that he has seen her left absolutely exhausted after caring about everyone except herself? It has to be countless now to where he's able to notice her true, genuine smiles and those that she wears so that no one, except him, can see just how utterly broken she is inside.

Though, it's not as if his criticism isn't appreciated. How long has it been that Hikaru has been wishing and praying that someone can see her for herself, past the mask she dons around others? Far too long—that is, until, he waltzed into her life like a blessing from the very gods that she believed had forsaken her altogether.

It's why the tears that fall down from her eyes and down on to her cheeks are out of gratitude, and not sadness, for seeing through her facade. She brings a hand up to quickly wipe them away, however more streak downwards the more she tries to brush them from her eyes. A lump forms in her throat, constricting her ability to speak as her arms take him into an embrace with her hiding her face in his chest so that no one else besides him can see her true self right now.

'Thank you for seeing who I am under the surface,' is what she's trying to say through her actions since she doesn't trust her own voice to not betray her. 'and thank you so much for not giving up on me after finding out the truth.'
