Hello there! If I may ask about your oc Sakura, how did you go about conceptualizing her? Was there any characters or media that inspired her design? How did her character change to what it is now? Apologies for this many questions, feel free to choose just one when you have time; love your work!

Hello! You may indeed ask about my baby! 🥹

So for context, Feathers and Flowers' birthing concept was about a girl summoning a demon because she was lonely but too shy to make her own friends, so she concludes summoning a demon would somehow be easier. In that iteration of the story, Sakura was meant to be a side character; a friend to the main characters that acted as the ultimate foil to basically everyone around her. She combated Kaela's crippling anxiety by being confident and overwhelmingly outgoing, contrasted Evangeline's bossy, bitchy attitude with being kind and friendly, and be the opposite of Mal's stoic, silent character with being expressive and chatty. I also needed a character that could conveniently know enough about niche media to reasonably be able to help Kaela summon her demon in the first place, so I ended up making her a huge geek: she loved anime, video games, and had knowledge on obscure things... including occult summonings xD

So I worked off that idea to form her appearance. Again her core direction was to be a foil to all of the main cast: Kaela was short and soft. Evangeline was tall and thin. Mal was tal and hard. I wanted Sakura to be the biggest character, so she originally started started out compact and wide. Her face was what I started with: I wanted her to look somewhat like an anime character, and her inspiration was based off of the older episodes of Dragonball, Pokemon, Tenchi Muyo, Ranma, Inuyasha. I basically wanted her to have Goku vibes (his wide dark eyes, his big smile, his open and easy personality) but with Inuyasha's hairstyle (she originally had long hair).

But then the story changed; it wasn't about a demon being summoned in a silly slice-of-life story but a Spirit getting lost in a magical modern era, still very much slice of life.

That ultimately shifted Sakura's design into something more athletic; football specifically. I wanted her to keep her dorky traits but pair it with the popular star athlete trope, so she became leaner, taller, and more "top heavy". She also became more oblivious; she remained sweet and friendly and outgoing, but in turn she didn't understand when someone liked her. In fact she was later canonized to be asexual originally didn't have romance planned for her character.

Fastforward to now: the story of F&F has changed again. While the core remains mostly the same (found family), it ironically shifted into something much closer to one of the earlier concepts of the story; something more serious and not slice of life, something that focuses more on the good and bad of a world instead of being predominantly lighthearted. So with that change the characters had to get a tune-up to their characterizations. Sakura received the biggest change, I think.

Her core remains true: she's relentlessly kind, expressive, a dork. But I decided to make that her biggest strength and her biggest flaw, as well as making her loving personality be conflicted by how the world views her by changing her appearance. That's how we get current Sakura: she's kind, she's loving, she wants to help others. But people think she's a threat, a ticking timebomb, because of what she is. So her once open smile is now more manufactured, a wall to protect herself, a farce to try and make herself look less like a threat. She's now a pushover; she can't establish her boundaries without it being misinterpreted as being aggressive, so her coping mechanism is to grin and bear it. She can't get visiblt upset or angry, so she has to fight for calm to have even the smallest chance of being listened to. She's "nice" because it's all she's allowed to be.

Hence her appearance change! She is now the largest character in the main roster, the physically strongest. Her smile is now "tainted" by sabre teeth she can't hide, her size contradicts her gentle nature.

It's late for me so I'm sure I forgot a few things but that's what I got for now! If you're interested I could show older concept work of Sakura to illustrate how she looked then vs how she looks now too. But ye! Thank you so much for asking about my character! 🥹🙏

I still can't get the unused concept art of Wish out of my head so I've been reading a lot of rewrites and looking at a lot of Wish redesigns...

So... I got inspired. I'm currently conceptualizing my own Wish "rewrite/redesigns", but with a twist. It's gonna be a spiritual "prequel", cuz idk I feel like being meta since we'll be using the original concepts before the final concepts/decisions made for the final movie XD

Many of my "prequel" characters will be stand-ins for the canon characters! So "Asha" will be renamed "Amala", "Magnifico" will be called "Mamoun", and so on. Think of Pokemon Legends: Arceus regarding the relations of these "OCs" with the canon characters.

Anyway, here are the designs I have so far! I only have the designs for Amala and the Star for now. Hopefully, I can get to draw the other characters soon, especially Mamoun and his wife.

The story will be called "Once Upon a Wish"

Here's an overview of what I have so far... Some details may change if I feel like my other choices serve the story better. (Also, small disclaimer, this is just a veryyy self-indulgent AU made by yours truly, so some details may not be accurate with the canon lore present in Wish)

The story takes place on the same island of Rosas, but from many years ago. If my research is right, canon Wish takes place in the 1200s, so maybe my "prequel" can take place in around the 900s-1000s. Rosas definitely wasn't called Rosas back then, but I'm still figuring out what to call it so I'm just gonna refer to it as "an island".

Amala is a shy, meek, but hardworking apprentice of the island's head sorcerer Mamoun (hence, her color palette looks similar to Mickey's outfit from The Sorcerer's Apprentice). Despite all her hard work in her magic studies, she doesn't really excel at using magic, making a lot of accidents during training. If there's anything she really excels at, it's the act of storytelling (She can draw/animate, sing, and write stories like fairy tales).

Amala also has a little sister Ayah, who I can imagine is the Lilo/Anna to Amala's Nani/Elsa. Ayah is spunky and cheerful, but she has an illness that makes her disabled. The sisters are orphans, but they live under an old family friend they affectionately call Grandpa Dabir. Dabir is a retired bard turned doctor who was part of a troupe with 6 other former bards, all of whom he and the sisters still interact.

I've rewritten this so many times because I kept making it too long but its still too long but jsnjkfskv.

So !!

I played pokemon crystal off of a piracy website in 2023(?). Off of one tab on my computer. I had to keep restarting the game bc I kept accidentally closing the tab I was using. Ah the fun times.

And it fucking reignited my pokemon hyperfixation with a vengeance (and its still going as my main media interest).

But! I spent!! Like actually the most time in the entire game trying to beat the elite 4. Like embarrassingly long. Too long. way too long.

And I went. realistically I would've just. given up by now and gone home with no money or anything. And then I went! Huh! What if i made an OC about that.

For most of the first few months of sprites accounts it was just make shit up as you go along (has since changed to be pretty structured and the stories very planned along with solidified lore. I did not know what i was fucking doing at first), but one of the few planned bits of sprites backstory. was mari.

And as much as I love her, Mari isn't really my oc (or at least one I created), she's my friend @/marithefriendlyghost 's, who saw my silly pkmn irl account and wanted to join in making pokemon oc's. I drafted up an idea for why sprite and mari weren't friends anymore and they agreed, doing most of the writing for mari before her account (for her blog takeover for sprite and asks and such). Back in the early days, me and Ghost joked that Mari was voids "Bitchsona" since she was much crueler in her early days.

Beedrill's character was inspired by an IRL friend of mine who is a tech whiz, but thats where the similarities end I promise. He's developed so far from the original idea I had for him that it's insane, he's entirely unrecognisable. Beedrill originally went by the alias of 'anonanon' or 'beedrill anon' and sent strange asks, and also pelipper mailed people weirdly spesific meme shirts. Team Fauna was always in the back of my head while writing him after he actually became a character that appeared on sprites blog sometimes, but looking back I don't think I did enough to foreshadow it.

Hi, I'm here for more insurgence rewrite content. Tell me literally anything that you've cooked up recently :D

So this is something that I talked about before but it's nice to actually explain it: The Timeless and the cults. I'll hopefully not make this super long lol.

I'm realizing, thinking about it, there's a lot to unpack, so for now, I'll keep things short by explaining the relationship between the Timeless and the first Infernal cult leader, who is Jaern's ancestor.

In my rewrite I pretty much. Tossed out the old Timeless and replaced them with my own ocs lol. The two important ones for this little story is Vasilios ( my replacement of Verysn) and Nikolas. Vasil is/was the king of Torren in this au, and was chosen by Diancie. Vasil was the one that stumbled upon the void gauntlet/the throne of hegemon ( which might get some tweaks later on we'll see). He fell into the pool of starry waters, which was made him see glimpses of what to come- Nyx, chosen ones, the crystal- all of which had led Vasil to Arceus. That's when Arceus itself gave Vasil his duty to protect the crystal and was ultimately chosen by Diancie ( via Arceus). Nikolas is Vasil's right hand man, a head knight who is severely loyal to his king. He is also the chosen one of Keldeo. Him and Vasil are in love. Just thought I'd mention that.

Jaern's ancestor was a good friend to both of them. How exactly they all met I haven't fleshed out but the vague idea I have is that they found her one day, took her in and they've been friends ever since ( Nik used to be jealous of her, given how close she and Vasil would be. She would tease him for it later down the line lol. They became good friends!). Jaern's ancestor ( I should really get a name for her) was a genuinely kind woman. She wanted to help the world in earnest, and thus has taken up medicine. Despite her efforts though, she always mused on how she wishes she could do more for the world. That is, until she stumbled upon the crystal. I don't think I thought out how she found it- maybe I explained it before but I forgot. But she did, and was ecstatic! Something with immense power- it could heal so many people! Vasil, however, wasn't as pleased that she found out. I should mention that Vasil is a sweetheart. He truly is. If it was up to him, he would have used the crystals power to make his home so much better for everyone, but it's still a crystal with infinite power. If gotten to the wrong hands, it could be disastrous, especially when Nyx is a looming threat (according to Arceus n his visions). It was too much of a risk. So when Jaern's ancestor suggested making the crystal public, Vasil adamantly denied it. It had caused a small argument between the two, but it ended with Vasil convincing Jaern's ancestor to just let it go, that the risk of it all would be too great ( without mentioning the whole Arceus stuff).

And that was that.....until it wasn't.

Jaern's ancestor does have a deep sense of justice within her. She wants to help the world, but never seems to have the right resources to do so. The crystal would be on her mind for ages. It would help heal the world, it could help so many people if Vasil just let it be known! That was when she decided to take a risk of her own: she attempted to take the crystal for herself. She snuck into the caves, found the crystal again, and just when she tried to take it- it wouldn't budge. Vasil and Nik was there behind her ( she didn't realize she was being followed), and explained that the only way for the crystal to be moved is if you beat the original owner in battle- him. Jaern's ancestor had no pokemon, nor any proper combat training. She would not win, even if she tried. Again, she tried to reason with him, tried to convince him that it would help so many people - but her going back to the crystal was already enough. With a heavy heart, Vasil exiled Jaern's ancestor. He couldn't take that risk. No matter how much it hurts seeing the pain in her face.

Vasil allowed her to gather her things before leaving. He was not expecting her to gather some doctors and healers to leave with her. He didn't expect her to quietly vow getting the crystal for all to use. He hadn't expected her to form the first cult. The Sky Cult......though if you'd ask her, she'd looked at you with disgust if you call what she's doing "cult work". I can't stress enough, Jaern's ancestor isn't doing what she's doing for power. She just wants people to have the resources they need to live, and the absolute best one is literally being hidden away. And she thinks that's unfair. Truly unfair. And even if she doesn't get the crystal ( which she is determined to get), she won't stop helping where she can. Exiled or not.

Some smaller things

Pre- Crystal, Jaern's ancestor had always had a connection to the sky. You'd find her playing her lute on a high place when the sky is nice and clear.

Vasil and her LOVED teasing Nikolas lol. Vasil even more so, in her opinion, but he denies it. She Knows What's Up though.

Post Exile Jaern's ancestor went from someone who was pretty dainty in appearance to someone who ended up being fairly muscular.

At some point she ends up dying, perhaps in a final battle between her and Vasil. I think despite everything, they consider each other their greatest friends, and deeply respect each other. Her death is one of Vasil's biggest regrets.

In connection to the above, I also imagined that by that point she had a child and husband. I think her final wish was for them to live comfortably. Vasil made sure her wish came true.

Pokemon Rejuvenation - The wrath of Alain

This short story is about the origins of my oc Asopo. Attached to the short story is a closely related oc ramble that elaborates on the meaning and inspiration. In total it's 636 words long.

“ASOPO: Change is a powerful force that heralds new hope and new beauty, yet often requires destruction.

I now remember my time as a spirit swimming through the Cauldron of the Future. Nothing about my existence was constant, I was young, I was old, I was happy, I was sad, I was content, I was suffering, I was changing. 

The countless spirits within those timeless waters took many forms, the ones that rose to the surface took the form of Pokemon, yet many became other things.

A woman named Variya took notice of this cauldron, reaching out to me beyond space and time. She called me towards her, her voice a powerful irresistible force, the first constant I had ever perceived.

She showed me Alain, a wrathful, lonesome and passionate person who hid a kind heart. Many others feared to approach them, yet she found friends that weren’t afraid of them. Among these friends was a woman named Crescent. 

Alain opened their heart to Crescent and the two of them became lifelong friends. 

That life ended when a terrible storm changed their world, bringing unnatural new dangers and frightening new monsters.

Crescent could not bear to live on without her friend Alain, so she stole a special machine, a black box that could recover Alain’s spirit and create a new body to replicate the one that had been lost.

Although Alain’s new body hadn’t weathered the storm, their mind and spirit remembered. Alain despaired at their new life and closed their heart to Crescent once again.

And so Variya gave them a deal.

The weight of their destiny crushed their wounded soul. And thus a persistent fish from the cauldron swam down to take their place.

Asopo was born.”

In the renegade route of Pokemon Rejuvenation there is a rather interesting part where you get to read books about the origins of Spacea and Tiempa. These books were written by Spacea and Tiempa themselves and make it sound as if the two of them are explaining the story to you. The origin story mainly focuses on the owner of the body that was asked to become an interceptor, yet refused the role. Here are the titles of those books: 

“It’s a notebook with the title:”The ponderings of Stella.”

“It’s a notebook with the title:”The collectings of Trinity”.

It’s pointed out how both the space hags are just like the player character, just like Asopo. Asopo was a spirit called to take the place of the person who didn’t want to become an interceptor. I think that there could be a scenario in which Asopo learns about his true origins and the specifics of how he existed before taking over Alain’s body. After experiencing that Asopo writes this book to reflect on it

 I think it’s interesting that many interceptor OCs have entire past lives that they lived through before being reborn as an interceptor. I hesitated to do something similar with Asopo, but now I want to. Asopo was born as a human in the Hyburna region. Their spirit had returned to the cauldron once his life in Hyburna ended. This past life was the one in which they lived with their sister Atlanta. There aren’t two versions of Asopo, there’s one spirit that has lived more than one life. Asopo wrote this after remembering his time in the Cauldron of the Future (you know that new world in pokemon reborn?) but as of writing it he doesn’t remember his first life in Hyburna. I still haven’t decided how long life was, nor have I decided when or where it happened in the multiverse, but I think I’ll have Asopo remember it at some point.

My AUs:

Total Drama Omori (TW: suicide, sh, blood, horror)

This AU, as the title says, is an Omori AU with total drama characters and me and my friend @ragefulbutsweet OCs! It's alot like the original Omori story, but has certain changes in general since everyone still pretty much acts like their original selfs, plus some relationships "changed" and there is a bit more content/ context in this version. There would also come sometimes in which I think more gameplay wise and explain it like it was a real videogame! The specific tags for this AU are 'Total Drama Omori AU' 'TDO' 'TDOAU'.

Ever After High AU (title and tags in progress):

This AU is still in it's concept phase and I dunno when I get to work on it more but I won't give up on it! This AU is basically total drama characters in the Ever after high roles. And I warn anyone already for those who do not like the ship: Yes this is a Noco focused AU with Noah in the main role. The story is more slice of life with the main Focus of Noah, at the beginning Noelle, figuring out he is actually trans. I am still working on the story's but stay tuned for more! Pokemon AU:

This Au actually happened out of the blue ngl, while thinking how a game like this would look like! Anyway This AU takes basically almost, if not all TD Characters and turns them into Pokemon. The Region is named after the camp so it's the Wawanakwa Region (This feels werid to write XD). While still in planning this might become a Y/N Story, with the goal to become the next Pokemon master! This AU has the specific Tag Pokemon AU.

A story I am currently writing on (And hopefully finish like I want to) Is called 'Curiosity kills cats' and is based around @eavee-ry 's Island of the slaughtered AU and is about my OC Edith going to the island to figure out if these ghosts are real or not. I won't say more it's a surprise and will be released when The chapters are all done!

Original Characters:

The first (and currently only fleshed out character) of mine is Edith. She was first made out of the IOTS AU and just after getting into TD more did I put her into more Canon TD stuff (which makes it more AU stuff in a way) Anyway Edith has a specific passion for finding and proofing if the ghost storys on the internet she sees, are truly real or not! She has a more closed of personality but is very polite and humble but easily gullible and naiv.

Did lily just give her HP aliana oc a gardevoir for a Petronas? And also totally change the magic so it's sentient and never fades away so it can hang out with everyone?

Fanfic is self-indulgent by design, so it's fine that she does whatever she wants. The only issue I have is that LO always acts like her fics are first that aim to improve the original when they're not. All they are is super self-indulgent stories she writes for fun. Yet she dunks on other fics for the same thing. Or people who don't agree with how she writes certain things.

I'd respect her so much more if she just said 'Hey this is my fic, not a book and I do what want' rather then defend her choices as fine and pat herself on the back for fixing a story while simultaneously saying other fic writers are trash for just enjoying a trope she hates.

Side note I do find funny that she really only has like 3 stock characters she uses at nauseum and can't write anything else. But, yeah, she totally could get a book published.

i admit this could be a cute idea. some people in the fandom always speculated that the Patronus of Harry had some form of own consciousness based on how they were portrayed in the third and fifth movies, so it's not a bad idea to take that concept further and turn it into "you can create your very own best friend". if you ever heard about the concept of tulpas, beings you can create within your own mind to be independent of you, LO's essentially doing just that with a physical form. LO could have created a entirely new spell just for that, but i don't really have an issue with this being her new interpretation of patronus. my problem is the "only some patronus can talk given their form" because... why? they're already beings made of light, why biology of all things would be the thing that impedes them communicate? i guess just because LO's characters have to have the most especial pokemon/patronus by default.

... the issue that i'm already seeing is that this is literally just the exact same thing she already did with the AI that rey created. it hasn't been that long and she's already recycling her own ideas again, blatantly so. does LO even realize that or she does not care? remember that AI robot that started as basically a toddler that alaina, not rey, had to teach her about everything until the AI develops a crush on alaina? the thing that we called out as being plain grooming? think about it: -both beings are entirely dependant on another character. if rey stops the servers or brent just undoes the spell, they both cease to exist. -they're both empty shells until their creator/wife's creator takes them under their wing. as a note, how come something can be an "empty shell", but their loyalty still has to be earned? that makes no sense. -they're essentially free servants, borderline slaves. they're both told that they have free will, that they're part of the family and they aren't under anyone's control... but there's really nothing showing that because neither of these characters has any personality beyond adoring brent/alaina and how useful they're for their respective "families." do they have any hobbies? do they enjoy doing anything outside of the people who made them? can they create art? do they have imagination? do they have preferences? do they dream about mechanical sheep? we don't know, and i frankly doubt that LO even thought about it because it's not about any of them becoming actual people, it's about alaina/brent having adoring servants that they don't even need to pay.

-they both have overtly formal speech patterns regarding the "family" as if they were their superior and, despite all the talk about them not being subservient and being on equal footing, nobody seems to mind? i just don't know how equal a relationship can be when one of the parties keeps using "my lady" and being so reverent. it's almost like LO want to replicate the relationship between Sylvannas and anevay, but she missed the part about that dynamic has a different tone when it comes to a creator and the creation.

-neither that AI or this patronus have an actual option to leave their creators, even if they wanted to. they're bound to them to continue living. because of that, no matter how much talk there's about "you're part of the family", there's always going to be a power dynamic at play here that, considering who's writing, is almost for certain going to be abused in some way in the future.

as a side note, that "she's opinionated" and "she's the first one to say she isn't an slave" (even though she is because there's no talk anywhere about her having any actual indepedence or actual rights) are entirely recycling what little of a personality G has on pokemadhouse. this is just G.

theres my pokemelody characters! pokemelody is a pokemon comic seiries i want toactually make evveuntually so i try not to talk about them TOO much, the maincast consists of Kyo fukushima (the protagonist, very soft pastel aesthetic, he is a sweetheart and he starts out without... too much truama) Niseru Woodtail (or Raitail, she's kinda like cottagecore but goth i guess? she's sorta a tsundere but of the shy variety. ) Fukusha Kopi (orphan, mischievous prankster type, 'badboy' if you will) Chikara Kitsune (cute idol<3 optimist and happy go lucky hardworker) and Oritisu (sassy princess slowly realizing the burden she was born into) theres other notable characters too ( Kazumi fukushima, Niseru's triplet siblings who are also Chikara's coworkers ) ofc fdksjanfj The series is VERY thematically focused and I've been working on it for years

Charlotte <3333tag is charlotte tag, charlotte is in a weird position: she's technically original HOWEVER she is a character that exists within my vampire!weegee au ( @ask-vampire-weegee ) ANYWAY! Charlotte's the vampire that turned Luigi, she is also a poor little meow meow and very scrunkly. Sometimes accompanied by Beatrice, Beatrice's parent's were Charlottes.. caretakers, caretaker in the general sense: they did not actually take care of her past keeping her alive(well- in the general sense). Beatrice and Charlotte were extremely close: Charlotte can't remember how she died.. or how she ended up alone for that matter

this is Clementine, a mash up of a minecraft story mode-pokemon OC who ends up replacing Jesse in the original MCSM story (im trying to make sure she isnt just a repeat of Jesse/Jesse 2.0 tho)

specifically, this is her prior to her fighting the Wither Storm and has yet to fully comprehend whats happening, she has dual swords that a friend (or possible family member idk yet) gave her

and this is her team before they sadly passed due to the Wither Storm/subsequent Wither Sickness, she did nickname them but i havent decided on yet but either way she did care about them pretty deeply, also the only reason why Zweilous, Lombre and Quilladin arent fully evolved was cause, like i said, they passed during the Wither Storm/Wither Sickness so they never had the chance to fully evolve (also deino evolves at the stupid level of 50 into zweilous then zweilous evolves at the even dumber level of 64 so yea miss girl was never gonna get her hydreigon in the first place)

and this is her and her team after the Wither Storm, despite her seeing horrors previously unknown to mankind and her subsequent trauma from it, shes still gonna slay her days away while shes off to therapy, she also ended up using an old bag that a friend had before she passed due to Wither Sickness

she actually doesnt have two Mr Mimes n a Mr Rime, i just havent decided on whether or not to give her a Kantonian one or a Galarian one that eventually evolves into Mr Rime, the only one im sure about is her Hisuian Arcanine that she named Flamethrower

Who was your first ever OC? Do you still “use” them? How have they evolved over time?

My first OC was a sonic oc, her name was Gothia the Dark, and she was created in either 2008 or 2009- def before the release of pokemon b&w!

My only sonic game was sonic 06, and I was a bit obsessed with mephiles- edgy characters make elementary schoolers insane, dontcha know. My concept was that if mephiles was the shadow, and iblis the source of light, there could be a third party. With hindsight, I can say she was intended to be the penumbra. I think I left her back in elementary school, but I kept the concepts of sentient shadows as characters for some of my stories

What are your favourite relationships between your OCs? (romantic or platonic!)

They have a very 'basic' dynamic, but the character dynamic I've worked on the most have been between my Sun and Moon OCs. They're two celestial gods from a pantheon based in all the planets and moons of our solar system; its a Heliocentric pantheon, so the Sun is the most important, while the Moon acts as an advisor of sorts to Gaia/Mother Earth

The basis of their story is that, despite everything, the Sun does Not want power, or reverence, or responsibility, so she does what any self respecting monarch does and fucks off to the planet earth to become a cowboy, living a free life without any worries or responsibilities. Since she is not within the pantheon anymore, the power structure is out of wack, and the physicial planets have no more sunlight- the physical sun has Disappeared, leaving everyone in darkness.

The Moon is Gaia's only advisor, a trusted and beloved friend. Despite this, she is something of a wallflower in the greater schema of the pantheon; endlessly useful and loyal to Gaia, but not very significant beyond that. She's a pragmatic and cynical woman, and is sent to earth to find the Sun, as every planets moons are sent to their respective planets. Throughout the course of the story, both the sun and the moon are pulling eachother out of their comfort zones, learning about eachother and their personal struggles and helping eachother go. They're on such different playing fields in the heliocentric pantheon, but they're on more equal grounds down on earth. Again, I'd be the first to say it's a basic dynamic structure, but I've had them for years and enjoy their situation:]

Favorite oc?

My favorite OC is currently tied betweeb my characters Rile and Wildfire right now

Rile is generally in her early 30s when I write her, and if I were to describe her without bringing in any backstory or personality, if I were to slot her into a pure character archetype, she would be the Nathan Drake; an average person that comes from small beginnings that finds herself in situations far greater than she initially imagined. An every day sort of protagonist with ridiculous amounts of luck

If I Were to bring backstory into this, I'd say that she's a pacific islander and hispanic and was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her real name is Leilana Rial, and the Rile nickname cropped up due to a consistent mispronounciation error in her youth, and just stuck. Her parents were out of the picture when she was still young, and she was given into the foster care system when her grandparents were unable to take care of her. The foster care system sucked, child protective services didn't do anything for her, and she learned to manage for herself and was able to escape the system while still in her teens, and the rest is history. She was a teenager in the 90s and she's a bit of a fail loser, but in a fun way

Wildfire was originally a DnD oc turned generalized, but now he's my own guy since the campaign he's from has been on hiatus. In DnD, he's a classical hero archetype, practically going through each stage of Campbell's heroes journey, you know?

Outside of a DnD universe, he is half demon, and part Cuban. He's from Florida, and comes from a heavily Catholic background. Naturally, that didn't mesh well with being demonic in nature, so he took off the first chance he could with a boyfriend that was too old for him. It didn't work out with the boyfriend, they had a bit of a fight and cut ties, but Wildfire was Not going back home, so he's figuring shit out, he's working on himself, yknow? My current comic wips that I've been posting- the Road Kill comic- have been about Wildfire, it's about a hitchhiking incident gone wrong, Santa will be there, it's gonna be fun:3

What are some things that inspired your stories? Real events? Maybe a dream?

I try to read and consume a lot of stories/different types of stories as a general baseline of inspo! On top of that, real life situations have an inherent influence on everything I write and create, and also just, general reading + witnessing the world around me has a tendency to help me create the stories I want to create. I think having multiple avenues of thought and ideas is a great thing to have, no matter what level of notoriety you want with your creations, yknow?

CALL ME TMI THE WAY I SHARE INFO NO ONE ASKED FOR

When I was much younger, probably when I was in year 6 or 7 I joined a discord centered around Minecraft ocs, It was my first real experience in “fandom” and I met so many wonderful people on that server, I doubt they knew my exact age but could guess I was young and I’m forever thankful for how much grace they gave me despite all the “cringy” things I did, it was so fun being able to talk about O.C’s and the members of the discord encouraged me in my pixel art journey. Alongside this it was where I learnt what being nonbinary was! This moment of self discovery certainly helped accept myself quicker then I would have otherwise. There were a few secret santa events I participated in and in kind received some amazing art - which I still have saved - from the friends I had made there!

During that time I joined a few other discord servers, one about the show “epithet erased” where I made one of first truly original characters alongside meeting some wonderful people, we rambled on for hours about the stories we would make and how cool our roleplays where! The other server I had joined was centred around an original project where genres of stories were personified and where trapped in a murder mystery, from what I remembered the story was amazing and the sense of community I had at that time was unmatched.

Aside from discord I played on quite a few minecraft servers, notable one’s including brokenlens and mineplex - sadly both have closed - I made so many friends on brokenlens one in particular became my best friend at that time I still remember how fun it was to go onto all sorts of mini games - they were always better at pvp then me - complaining about school sharing art… they made a few drawings of my persona at the time and I still have them saved. Once, I told her my birthday and she built an entire minecraft world for me to celebrate in.. it's still one of the most heartfelt gestures I’ve ever received. One of the funnest things to do back then was on one of the older lobbies maps on broken lens, you could fall through a hole and make it under the map, it was one of the coolest places to be as a child

I can't recall all the usernames of the people I played with on brokenlens but my username was something like “The Snatcher” as I was obsessed with “ A hat in time” back then.

On a different server which was much more geared towards roleplay I had met a group of people who all roleplayed together frequently and it was great! We would show off our builds to each other and help each other with whatever we were up to.

One particular server I played when I was much younger where I remember making many cringe moments was one that started life out as a skyblock server, before shifting to a factions server before becoming a prison server before its closure, I was not the nicest player to be friends with at that time, and I am forever sorry for all the people who met me atthat time I was truly insufferable.

In terms of player made world, I remember a player whos skin had blue hair invited me to their personal realm, I flexed my newly learnt knowledge of minecraft banners in an attempt to look cool as you do, and they had made a massive hotel which for some reason was in a giant cube of water.

Apart from discord and minecraft I also played murder mysterys, hide and seek, meep city and pokemon brick bronze on roblox religiously I have much fainter memories of this with only the feeling of happiness being clear

I remember my time on deviant art much clearer, It was when the “eclipse” branding was brand new, prior to the AI scandals, I posted a lot of kirby gijinkas and a hat in time art, I followed some amazing artists during those days, some of which I still follow on tumblr.

On the topic of artists I followed I used to be on the social media attached to the game called “Soul Knight” - KTplay which I have just found out has closed down - I was pretty immature - often tracing on that account - despite that I managed to become mutuals with some amazing artists and writers who posted at that time - around 2018 - I managed to follow a few of these artists on deviant art but I am sad to say I’m unsure where the rest of the people I admired have ended up.

My usernames for that time were always something like “MissMischeviouz” or “Miss the artist” . I remember meeting so many people I would play alongside once and never see again alongside the ones I built solid friendships with and I treasure you all to this day.

I miss these times but I wouldn't trade those memories for the world. When the pandemic hit I had a bout of insecurity and decided to leave my old discord account behind alongside the communities I had joined, there are so many wonderful memories on that account - called “localbandit” - having long since been deleted.

I half remember some of the names of the people I was friends with and I wish them the very best, I hope we can meet again in the future in a different time and place and if we don’t I’d like to thank them for being some of the best parts of my life, not to be sappy but I loved you guys

Rattatatia

This is the final intro story before they all meet up. Pokemon belongs to Nintendo, the movie Ratatouille belongs to Pixar and Disney, which there are references to but names have been changed so as to try to avoid copyright, the OCs belong to Wraith, and make sure to check out Wraith's stuff on Wattpad. Also TW for controlling and toxic parent. It's not horrible, it could be worse, but just a fair warning that it's there.

It's been a few months now since the Gengar Incident, everyone was made aware of her powers, she encountered her first Karen, and made friends with other Pokemon. Gia felt like she could ride this high forever, if it weren't for the fact that sometimes she felt like there were people out there who got her stressed or made her use her serotonin towards them just to get a whiff of it. Those people, she felt, didn't deserve any of it.

The Eevee was lost in thought as a blur of purple sped by her into the nearby alley. Curiosity getting the better of her, she followed it to a Rattata hole in the side of an abandoned warehouse. Determined to find out who it was, she went to find another way in.

Once she was able to, she found a community of Rattatas. Young and old, male and female, everyone with a job or role to help maintain their little piece of society. So when she made a small noise with one of her steps, all of them stopped what they were doing and looked at her in confusion. Eventually, one of them, a female, stepped foward.

"Greetings, I am Rosa," the female Rattata introduced herself. "What's your name?" After Gia introduced herself, they started to recognize her more easily and Rosa had to tell them to go back to what they were doing so as to avoid their "guest" as Rosa called her from getting bombarded with questions and requests. After everyone got busy again, Rosa told her to follow, which Gia did.

"So I noticed everyone has a job," Gia noted while looking around, making sure to not step on any of the Rattatas going about their business. "What's your's?" Rosa answered by saying, "I'm the one in charge. I give them their jobs." Gia then understood why she was the one who started talking to her.

Rosa proceeded to take Gia on a tour of what the Eevee originally thought was a large town or small city, which turned out to be closer to a medium to large city. The Rattata introduced her to the major stores run by the locals and was even offered to try their food. It went on for awhile before they arrived at a living space larger than the others.

"Who lives here?" Gia asked, trying to narrow it down in her head the answer. "You?" Rosa chuckles and confirms that she was, in fact, correct. She then called out for someone named Reme so that they could meet. Gia wondered what a famous Paris Region Rattata was doing living here when he has his own restaurant.

Rather than a stressed out Rattata with a chef's hat looking like he was interrupted from cooking, a young Rattata close to Gia's age, still stressed but it looked like it was over other things and not cooking, came out of the living space.

"Yeah Mom?" The Rattata rubbed his eyes and blinked, looking like he hadn't seen natural light in awhile. Rosa, who Gia assumed was the younger one's mom, started smothering him with love and affection. This irritated the Rattata and caused them to push their mom off.

"Fine, fine, I'll stop for now," she says, ruffling his hair. She then intruces them as her son Reme. Gia was confused, and honestly a bit excited, and asked if he's the famous Rattata from the Paris Region and Rosa almost let out a laugh.

"No, no, that would be amazing, probably even a dream come true if I'm being honest, but no," Rosa explains. "I'm just a fan of his work, so when I found out I was having a boy, I begged my husband to name our son after him and he did." Rosa continued, saying that she was hoping that he'd make more friends and was hoping you two could hang out together. She then shooed them before heading into her living space, forcing them to even more.

Reme was noticably uncomfortable, saying they didn't have to if she didn't want to and that he'd explain to his mom if she did. She responded back that she wanted to get to know him, but also said that she wished it was by choice and not force. He then offered to show her "something cool". After making him promise it wasn't secretly anything bad, she agrees. He start to lead her to an alley in the city and makes sure she's able to catch up as they do parkour.

Eventually, they make it to a high beam and tight rope across. After they fully crossed, she's welcomed into a small den. One that, surprisingly, she could fit inside without taking up too much space.

"Welcome to my little hideaway," Reme says as he plops on a makeshift bean bag chair. Gia looked around for anything that might be similar to what the famous Paris Region Rattata might have and found nothing. She asks him if he's a fan of the Rattata's work and he answers no, but also mentions that his mom wishes he was as he starts venting about how controlling she is with his interest and hobbies. Gia simply sits and let's him let it out, thinking that this is something he needs.

"The worst part," he takes a deep breath as he struggles to continue. "The worst part is that the biggest thing that she pushes on me isn't making friends, or learning how to cook, or anything like that, it's that she wants me to take over the community, and I don't think I can't handle that." He starts rambling about how it isn't fair and that he wants a choice, and if he was allowed one that he'd use his choice to say no and explain that he wanted to live elsewhere. He said he'd explain that he would visit, but that he simply just doesn't want to live there anymore. Gia goes over and comforts him. He softly mentions that "it doesn't help that I'm an only child".

"Shh, it'll be alright," she tells him, reassuring him that everything will be ok. "Hey, why don't we try later today? That sound good to you?" Reme calmed down and nodded in agreement. They then talk about various other topics to pass the time. Before they knew it, it was time for him to head home.

"So once we get to your living space, you're going to ask her right?" Gia asked for confirmation as she jumped back down to the ground level. He confirms that it will happen, and when he asks for confirmation that she'll be there for support, she let's him know that she'll be by his side the entire time. With his confidence levels on the rise, they head back to his living space.

After knocking on a part of the wall next to the doorway, she comes out and asks how they're doing. Gia answers that they're doing well, and that Reme has something to tell her. When she asks what it is, he tells her that he doesn't want to take over being in charge. her loud exclamation of "WHAT?!" made Rattatas turn heads but she growled at them to "get back to work", making them scurry off. She then asks what he meant.

"What I mean, Mom, is that I don't want to be in charge once you retire or something," he restates. "I don't think I'd want to live here. I mean, yeah, I'll visit, but that doesn't mean I'll want to live here." His mom, looking like he'd broken his heart and put it back together only to break it again, asked what he would like to do. He said he didn't know, but mentioned that traveling sounded interesting to him. She was noticeably sad, but wished him well on his travels and asked that he visit as often as possible. He thanked his mom and told her that he'd try to visit often. Rosa then led them to a platform in the middle of the city square.

"Citizens of Rattatatia," she called out. Everyone stopped what they were doing and headed over to hear the announcement. She continues once she sees that everyone has arrived.

"As you all know, 25 years ago my husband and I made this place for Rattatas to live in peace, so that we and humans could live alongside each other the best we could. As you all also know, just over 11 years ago I gave birth to Reme, who is not only my only son but my only child. Today, we shall wish him safe travels as he ventures out of our community and goes off to explore the world. He'll no longer be taking over as I originally hoped, but I will think of something later for how to choose one of you to one day have a new leader when I am no longer able to. In the meantime let's give him a farewell and wish him safe travels on his adventures." As if on cue, as Gia and Reme head off the stage, everyone does as Rosa told them to. After getting through the crowd, they exit the way Gia entered as it was the only entrance she could fit through. Once they exited, they talked about where he'll head first and, after finding out, they part ways until they see each other again.

Thanks once again for reading. All of her friends have been introduced, now we're just to the meet up where all her friends finally meet each other. That should come out soon so stay tuned for that. –> Have you ever wondered what Dawn would be like if she were a depressed theater kid who wakes up every day and chooses violence? That’s the protagonist of this story! Her name is Inyssa (Dawn is her last name).

–> Do you like flawed protagonists and coming of age stories? Do you like Pokemon fics where the main characters aren’t 11 years old? Do you like characters with abandonment issues and social anxiety slowly learning to heal over the course of a journey filled with Pokemon, fighting and adventures?

—> Do you like realistic depictions of trauma, mental ilness and complicated family issues without it being overtly grimdark? There’s always gotta be some hope, after all.

–> Have you ever wanted a trainer journey where protagonist and rival travel together, including all the slow burn classics we know and love? What if both of them are bi? What if they’re also super open and affectionate with each other while constantly denying themselves the possibility that they see each other as more than friends?

—> Do you like stories where multiple characters and forces and entities are all struggling for power while those left below must gather together to clear the dark clouds hanging over the horizon?

–> Do you like Pokemon fics where the author fucking loves writing battle scenes while listening to JRPG battle music at full blast and feeling like he’s high on coke? Also, I have to ask…. do you like OCs in Pokemon fics? If not…. well, you do you, but if you do, then boy do I have some OCs for you.

2) Cool OCS:

We’ve got Metchi! An ex-Team Galactic grunt who is now determined to oppose both her previous companions and the forces behind Sinnoh’s government as a whole.

She also possesses the fabled cool glowy eyes that all good protagonists must have. If you ask her what said glowy eyes are about, she’ll probably tell you that it’s because she’s trans and that makes her cooler and more anime, but there’s probably something more to it. Read to find out!

We also have Reiko! A league challenger from Kanto who is buff and has a sword she likes to swing around, more often than not to the active detriment of her lofty goals and ideals.

She also has some cool glowiness to her but it’s different from Metchi’s glowiness.

There’s also Percy, Reiko’s boyfriend! If I had to guess he’s probably the richest Kalosian trans man in all of Sinnoh, though unfortunately all that money can’t buy him a way out of his family drama or his inability to not be a bit of an asshole.

Man, those sure are some OCs right there.
