anyways if y’all are looking for a new game, i highly recommend the newest rendition of Layers of Fear. the story has changed from when i last played the original but it is SO good
if you liked Act One of TPtM - the uncertainty, the hallucinations, things clearly being Not Right, a mostly (i think) nonlinear storyline, etc - then i highly recommend this game :3
#she’s saying ‘get out’ i believe 😭#she’s the first ‘enemy’ i’ve encountered#it’s mostly kinda eerie and a thriller but little jump scares#at least to me#the atmosphere is fantastic#like there’s creepy shit going on but nothing that’ll put you in immediate danger#and that’s what i love#you get to just explore and learn the story#idk what’s actually going on bc the protagonist is mentally unwell#haha sounds familiar#but it’s interesting seeing what appears to be both sides of the same story and not knowing who to trust#anyways i’m going back to playing

(a) feyre, while she had difficulty with it, *could* read in acotar. she had a pretty good vocabulary. she had trouble with assigning sounds to letters and such, but she did know her letters, or at the very least could recognise it.
(b) being able to read a language is not the same as being able to write in it. being able to write is not the same as being able to write well - not without practice and the confidence that comes with the same.
(c) tamlin was a bit busy trying to protect his court - needing to occupy her time while he and lucien were away is part of when/why she was doing a lot of that reading (even if i personally find it hard to believe - as someone who’s learnt and taught languages - that she would be able to read and comprehend at the pace suggested after a few months of writing lines).
When feyre left the spring court she knew how to read and write. She was actually just reading books because she didn’t wanna paint and was unable to do anything else.
But Tamlin obviously wasn’t paying attention to her at all? Did he even wonder when she learned how to read?? Did he even notice? Or did he get the letter months later and thought oh this is obviously not her because she’s illiterate.
#i originally elaborated on my own relationship(s) with each of the four languages i can speak/read/write in#and how my proficiency is not uniform between the languages or between the skills listed#but i didn’t want to make this about why i think the plotline wasn’t done well#which is a shame because feyre’s frustration and shame (however unfounded) about her literacy or lack thereof#is quite characteristic of adult learners - especially ones who aren’t encountering the language for the first time#ie familiar with it in some capacity (can understand but not speak/can read but not understand/have trouble writing)#using a language is like using a muscle - it is strengthened by use but might need retraining#also writing different things ask different things of you which might not come as easily to you#i’ve gotten hung up on language again but the point is#if i text my friend who knows i hate whatsapp (though i use it to call my parents) through whatsapp#when i usually text her through imessage#she knows it’s an emergency#or a scam#we have a joke about how we’ll know the other is in duress if everything isn’t in lowercase#and if i text her through twitter (which i don’t have) while i’m at her mortal enemy’s house she’d be calling the police too

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐎 ✮ FRANCO COLAPINTO
summary. you hated franco for stealing your friend’s seat not knowing that it’d lead to a night of regret.
warnings. enemies to fwb’s, p in v, semi public s3x, major plot twist at the end, & cheating. franco & reader match each other’s FREAK! 18+
a/n. gif by argentinagp! i love latinos!
YOU HAD PROMISED everyone on the paddock that you wouldn’t judge the new driver too quickly. The week leading up to his arrival had been spent reminding yourself that he didn’t steal Logan’s seat on purpose yet you were still mad. You had grown quite fond of the american over the past months and losing a friend had made you bitter. You couldn’t bring yourself to blame Logan for losing his seat so you resorted to the newly arrived brunette.
“He doesn’t bite.” Alex whispers as he notices the glare you’re sending the brunette.
“But he scavenges.” You murmur as the press surrounds the rookie.
“It’s not like he killed Logan.” Alex scoffs.
He didn’t but it felt like he had. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes at the way the media had already forgotten about your friend and put Franco on a pedestal. He had just arrived a day ago and already he was flaunting himself as the next Hamilton reincarnate. You turn around too frustrated with yourself for hating him when you didn’t even know him.
“Hola.” A thick accent interrupts your thoughts. You hesitantly turn around only to be met with the guy who took your best friend away. “Those colors don’t suit you.”
“Excuse me?” You replied shockingly wondering where his sense of entitlement came from.
“Ah, lo siento. I meant blue would look better on you.” His cheeks change hues realizing his words came out wrong.
“It would If I cared about Williams.” You smile sarcastically watching as his smile falters. “I’ve gotta go but score at least one point, yeah?”
Franco stays still in disbelief wondering if his comment on your clothes had completely pissed him off. Was his english really that bad? Did he come off too strong? He wondered if the rest of the paddock would hate him or if he was just overreacting.
“Don’t worry about her mate. She’s very reluctant to new people. Give her time.” Alex shrugs.
As the weekend progresses you spend your time between the Alpine garage and the trailers. You were lucky Alex and Lily had agreed to spend the whole weekend with you. You stared at the street as Leo climbed into your lap making you pet him. Practice had just started and you couldn’t help but keep a close eye on Williams. You had began to mindlessly rant to your friends over your encounter with the rookie and how it would most likely take him months to replace Logan.
“When this weekend is over I’m taking you with me to workout because you need to relieve that anger.” Lily laughs.
“No, seriously. You’re acting like he’s committed first degree murder when he had nothing to do with Logan leaving.” Alex sounds concerned.
“Look, I know I sound crazy but I swear there’s something off about him. Plus, y’all do remember the comment he made about me right?” You tried to validate yourself.
“English isn’t his first language it was an honest mistake. Either way he just took that Williams to Q1.” Lily motions towards the screen.
“Whatever. Are we all still on for Sunday?” You asked referring to the plans the drivers had made after the race.
“Obviously. Although we may need to monitor you all night to make sure you don’t damage the new rookie.” The two of them laugh as you sit there annoyed.
The sun was beginning to set as you made your way back to the Alpine garage. Your short white dress was the perfect outfit to keep you cool during the blazing heat of the summer. You were excited to spend the afternoon debriefing with Pierre until you run head first into someone. You try to balance yourself by holding yourself against their chest and as you slowly bring your head up you brace yourself for the apology you’re about to make. But then you see his face and that apology never makes it out your mouth.
“Do you not watch where you’re going?” You scoff at the Williams driver.
“I do. I do it very good actually. Or I wouldn’t be here.” He jokes. “It was you who couldn’t see well or else you would’ve seen me.”
“You’re quite full of yourself aren’t you.” You murmur as you fix your dress.
“People pay me to drive of course I am.” He pulls his sunglasses out his face to look at you directly. He has a glint of confidence in his eye and you can’t help but roll your eyes at his ego.
The two of you stood there alone as practice was long over and the drivers had gone back to their trailers to wind down. Your friends were probably going to ask you why you were late and you couldn’t bear the thought to tell them that you’d gotten into another argument with the rookie. You would get teased for it until the season ended.
“You know this whole hating me thing because you think I stole your friend’s seat, when he lost it because he wasn’t good enough, is so hot.” He smirks.
Any quick remarks you once had were now completely forgotten. His words completely took you by surprise and now you were just confused. Had he taken your witty words as flirting? Had you mistakenly led him on? Or was he just being a prick?
“Though, you could put that mouth to better use.” He says loud enough so only you can hear.
Your cheeks heat up at his comment and you can’t help but feel flustered at his words. Suddenly even the short dress you were wearing wasn’t enough to keep you cool. You instinctively bite your lip as you try to think of anything to say to him but you’re utterly speechless. He’s finally gotten under your skin and he hasn’t even raced yet.
“There’s something genuinely wrong with you.” You say.
“Adiós nena.” He smiles at you before wandering off leaving you all alone to process what had just happened.
The rest of the walk to the Alpine garage is awkward and quick. You try your best to store the encounter with Franco in the back of your mind. You do a bad job at it because his words echo in your mind for the rest of the day. You don’t tell anyone what happened that day because it was weird and also you weren’t even sure what had happened that day.
Its finally race day and you brush off your white skirt as you walk towards the paddock. You’d meet the girls in the Ferrari garage as Charles had wanted to surprise Alex with a girl’s day. You kept your hands above your eyes to protect them from the sun while subtly trying to ignore the camera flashes headed towards you. As you approach the garages you pause for a little. It had become a tradition for you to greet Alex before any race, a superstition that began when Pierre won the Italian Grand Prix, but now you were hesitant to visit the Williams garage.
You sighed coming up with the decision that an awkward conversation with the Argentine rookie shouldn’t stop you from visiting one of your closest friends. You do a 180° heading straight for the garage. It’s a short walk due to you walking as fast as possible to Alex’s booth. The engineer’s greet you already recognizing your face from the past couple of races. There’s a huge group of familiar faces in the room except the Thai. Your eyes drift around hoping to find him so you’re not late to meet up with your friends but you can’t find Alex anywhere.
“He’s with Lily.” A voice spooks you.
“Franco.” you sigh. “What are you doing here?”
“I work here. The real question should be why are you here?” His condescending tone irks you as he plasters that dumb smirk on his face.
“That’s none of your business.” You reply. “Tell Alex I was looking for him. I’ll be on my way now.”
He grabs your wrist before you can turn on your heels stopping you. You’re now completely face to face with him that you can practically feel his body warmth.
“Something tells me you came looking for me using your friend as an excuse.” He says below a whisper.
“Did your parents teach you that the world revolves around you? Has it ever occurred to you that you are not as important as you think you are?” You scoff. “I’m here for Alex and I would be here for Logan too but you ruined that.”
“Ay, boluda.” He laughs in disbelief. “It seems the only condescending person here is you because guess what? I earned this seat. My parents sold our house so I could be here meanwhile your little friend just spent his trust fund and wasted it.”
You run out of remarks at that. You’d spent all this summer terrorizing him unaware of who Franco really was. Although you weren’t going to apologize, you were too proud for that.
“It’s okay though I wouldn’t expect for a pretty dumb little thing like you to get it.” His voice goes hoarse. Your mind goes blank at his words unable to register his hand ending up on your waist pushing you into him.
Those are the last words he says to you before he abruptly pulls away leaving you alone to process the encounter. Your hand instinctively goes to the necklace on your neck caressing it as you try to regain your breath. You can feel how warm your cheeks are and instantly feel embarrassed at the weird tingly feeling in your stomach. Most importantly you couldn’t believe that out of all the people here Franco is the one who put you in this state.
“Oh, good you’re here! Hopefully I’ll get points today because of you.” Alex smiles at you.
“Go crush them. I have to go though have to meet Gasly before the race. You know go over his strategy for the race.” You stammer trying to find an out of the Williams garage.
“Yeah mhm.” He waves you off. “The two of you better show up to the party! Last one before the break!”
The Ferrari garage erupts into cheers as Charles makes it on the podium again. Alexandria and Lily both scream into your ear as both their boyfriends score points for their teams. Meanwhile you stare blankly as the screen as it shows both Alpine cars outside of the points. Then as if the Universe was making fun of you, Franco shows up on the screen celebrating his P8. You hated him, you hated his confidence, you hated the way he took Logan away from you, but most importantly you hated him because the sweaty messy hair he was showing off made you weak. Your mind instantly replayed this morning’s conversation and you found yourself dizzy.
“Are you okay? Is it cuz you guys didn’t get any points today?” Lily tries to console you.
“No, it’s not that.” You give her a fake smile. “This whole weekend has been kind of too much for me and I think I’m starting to feel the effects. I’m gonna go to the trailers but I’ll see y’all at the party later?”
“Feel better love! Wear something slutty!” Alexandria yells as you walk off.
The pink dress you had picked out for tonight was beginning to annoy you. It was incredibly short so you didn’t know if you should pull it up or down. And knowing Franco would be there made you overthink your idea not wanting to give him the impression that you had dressed up for him. You internally roll your eyes at yourself for even thinking about changing clothes because of a man. That wasn’t you. The effects of the rookie began to scare you.
You don’t waste anymore time heading out the suite and straight to your Uber. It was a short drive and the bouncer didn’t last long finding your name on the list. Lily and Alexandria immediately started screaming at the sight of you and welcomed you into the round table. Most of the drivers were still at the track recovering from their race so thankfully you sat next to Lily with no one to your right. You hoped Alex would hurry up so you’d get to gossip with your friend.
“That rookie ended up with points. I think your hate fueled him.” Lily teases you.
“Are we really going to talk about him, right now?” You sigh.
“He proved you wrong of course we’re gonna talk about it.” She says
“It was pure luck.” You spit out unaware of the brunette walking towards your table.
“What was?” The familiar voice makes you shiver. Lily can’t help but laugh as how wide your eyes go. You slowly turn around to meet the guy that had been torturing you this whole weekend.
“Oh, nothing-” Lily tries to save you.
“Your race today. It was pure luck.” You say defiantly being too stubborn to retract your words.
“Pure luck?” He repeats in disbelief.
“She didn’t mean it-” Lily tries to come to your rescue again.
“Oh, no. I meant it. He’ll be ending up P12 in the next races. I guarantee you won’t see anymore points after this. You’re just here on a test drive and then? Every one will forget you were ever here.” You take a swig of your drink. You don’t even register the malice behind your words being too heated to even comprehend what you’re saying.
His face heats up and his cheeks change hues as he registers your words. You blink and he’s gone. He wanders off to who knows where and it’s then that you register what you’ve told him. You warm up and suddenly you’re dizzy.
“What the fuck?” Lily whispers. “You better go find him and apologize.”
“He started it!” You whine.
“No, you did. You’ve hated him since he arrived when he’s done nothing to you.” Her words make you feel bad. “Now, go find him.”
You stand up adjusting your dress as you scan around the club looking for him. You wander off in hopes of finding him before he leaves. Why was it so hard to find a tall brunette in a crowd of average height people? You give up after five minutes resorting to asking the bartender if he’d seen your ‘friend’ and suddenly you found yourself outside. Franco is leaning against the wall looking at his phone but he’s wearing glasses now.
“I didn’t know you wore glasses.” You squeak afraid that you’d scare him off.
He looks up at you not saying a single word. Your presence pisses him off and he starts to walk away. You follow him to the back of the bar stopping him before the two of you got lost.
“Look, I didn’t mean anything I said. I’m sorry.” You play with the hem of your dress being too afraid to look at him.
“Did he fuck you good?” His face is stern.
“W-what?” His words catch you off guard. The temperature around you somehow getting warmer.
“Logan. Did he fuck you good?” He asks again with a meaner tone. “That’s why you’re mad at me, right?”
What you and Logan did behind closed doors was private, something no one else knew. Something you thought the two of you had managed to keep in secrets. Your cheeks flare up at Franco’s discovery. Were you really so bad at hiding your secrets? If he knew then who else did? You were fucked.
“Franco you don’t know what you’re talking about.” You try so hard to lie. His smirk makes it known that he doesn’t believe you.
One minute you’re lying to his face and the other he’s right in front of you eyeing you down. You can practically feel his body warmth as he invaded your personal space. He had one upped you, again. The innocent facade he had in front of your friends was completely gone.
“Ay, que linda que sos.” His thumb traces your cheek. The touch lingers, your cheeks heating up at the contact. “You’re such a terrible liar.”
“There’s something seriously wrong with you, you know that?” You barely say above a whisper.
“No, there’s something wrong with us.” His hand travels down your cheek to your neck.
That last word throws you off because it’s true, the indescribable pull you felt to him was insane, the two of you were insane. You were tired. You were tired of hiding secrets, Franco’s personality, but most importantly you were tired of pretending. Pretending that you didn’t want Franco. So, you do what you do best when you’re tired. You relieve yourself. You pull Franco by the shirt and kiss him ignoring the feel of his glasses hitting your face. He quickly turns the two of you around your back hitting the wall allowing for balance.
The two of you barely pull apart for air losing yourselves in the kisses. His brunette curls find their way into your fingers while his hands sit perfectly on your waist. The kiss grows heated as you pull him closer to you, feeling him. His hand begins to wander down your thighs, pulling them apart and wrapping your leg around his waist. You can feel yourself grow wetter at the new position and then you remember that your friends were still waiting for you.
“Franco, wait.” You groan.
“What? What happened?” He pulls away quickly.
“Everyone else is still waiting for us. You need to be…” You pause debating if this was really a good idea but had anything you’d done lately been a good idea? “Quick.”
He takes that as a challenge immediately pulling you in for a kiss again. The kiss is messy and needy with your hands in his hair and his hands massaging the inside of your thighs. The cool breeze hitting your exposed skin as he lifted your dress up. The roughness of the wall is soon forgotten as he brings his fingers down to your thighs, gliding them teasingly before placing them on your clothed core.
You can’t resist the groans that escape your throat as his cold fingers come in contact with your core. It’d been many weekends since anyone had touched you like this. He swallows your noises with his mouth as he kisses you. Your hands grip his arms as he begins to move his fingers around your folds, spreading your wetness. You remember that it’s been a while since the two of you walked outside and pull his fingers away.
“Franco. We don’t have time.” You gasp in between kisses.
He picks you up adjusting you against the wall while you dig your hands into the hem of his boxers. It doesn’t take long for your hands to venture down and feel him. Your stomach flutters at his size and how he feels. He quickly pulls you away before placing his tip near your entrance. Your morals long gone you grind on him wanting to feel anything. It’s pathetic the way you’ve gone from wanting him out of the sport to wanting him inside you and he notices it too by the way he smirks at you.
You’re about to lash out when he starts entering you slowly. If it wasn’t for him holding you then you’d have lost your balance already at the intrusion. He stills himself waiting for you to adjust to the new feeling. When he notices that you’re ready he pulls out before thrusting back into you, this time filling you to the hilt. It was almost as if he fit perfectly inside you.
“Fuck.” He groans as he fills you completely.
You’re not quite sure anyone’s ever felt so disgusting. You don’t even try to contain your moans as he continuously thrusts into you at a fervent pace. He feels so good inside you hitting spots no one else had before. His fingers leave mark on your hips as you take him fully. He looks down to where the two of you are connected and audibly groans at how well you’re taking him.
“Oh my god.” You whine as he increases his speed.
His hands come back done to your folds rubbing them in circles as he tries to pleasure you even more. Your hand joins his showing him where you need him the most. You can feel your slick coating his dick as he rubbed you. You begin to feel a familiar knot in your stomach as he fucks you into the wall. His hand cups your jaw as he pulls you into a long sloppy kiss.
It doesn’t take long after for you to come undone around him, your walls squeezing him as you reach your peak. He won’t last long with the feeling of you milking him. Soon enough he’s coming inside you, his warm cum filling you up. The sight of the two of you is disgusting and nasty.
The two of you break away from each other and catch your breaths. You lower your dress back down while Franco takes his glasses off to clean them. You check yourself for any runny mascara, or smudge lipstick, and even run your hands through your hair making sure you don’t look insane.
“We should head inside.” You murmur.
“We’re not gonna talk about this?” He scoffs.
“There’s nothing to talk about Franco. At least not know when everyone’s waiting for us.” You scold him. “We’ll talk next weekend.”
You head towards the bathroom first, Franco surprisingly waiting for you outside. The two of you walk in within a minute difference a smile adorning both your faces. At least until you spot Pierre next to Lily and you’re brought back to reality. You don’t waste time running towards the frenchman hugging him as you sit right next to him. Franco can’t help but stare at you in confusion as he notices Pierre’s hand trail too far down when hugging you. But then he spots it. Pierre wearing an identical necklace to yours but instead of a P it adorned your initial. His eyes go wide.
“I see you and my girlfriend have finally made up.” Pierre greets him.
“Your girlfriend?” His demeanor changes with the news. “I didn’t know.”
Pierre begins to explain how the two of you don’t like to be very public about your relationship. You can visibly see the moment in which Franco’s face goes pale. The next few weeks for you are hard racing between the Alpine garage and your girlfriends. Not to mention the quick pit stops to the Williams garage to wish Alex good luck. It’s a shame you get very little time with the rookie but he makes it work. In the end you really hope he doesn’t get a seat for next year, you can’t keep doing this.

First Encounter
|Summary: Your first encounter with Armando; based off of that one scene from bad boys ride or die. | Warnings: Getting shot at/slight suggestive language/Curse words/Slight Movie Spoilers | Trope: One sided interest or Enemies to Lovers| Notes: Hopefully you guys enjoy it's my first-time writing a x reader. | (Y/N/N=Your Nickname)
Here's all the parts I have so far: 1 2 3 4 5 6
______________________________________________________________
After seeing the news about your dad, Uncle Mike, and some guy, you decided to leave work early. Confused on why there all the sudden wanted fugitives, you quickly drive over to Dorns place knowing that he’ll have answers.
Parking your car, you grab your purse and make your way towards his lake house. Since you hang out with him and Kelly 24/7 outside of work, you just walk in without knocking. Which was a mistake on your end because not even a second later you’re being shot at, and you could hear a few people yell in shock. Dropping to the floor you curse and yell "It's me stop fucking shooting it’s me Y/N!” Looking up you see Kelly pointing the gun at the place you were just standing at with a shock expression. “Girl what the hell you got going on” you said, scared to stand up. Lowering her gun she said “OMG, Y/N, I’m so so—” Before she could finish you hear “Oh lord, you shooting at my baby!", recognizing the voice you look around to spot your father Marcus, running towards you with a worried look.
As he’s checking over you, you hear him sigh with relief after seeing you were fine. " Dad? what the fuck is going on!", standing up you dust off your nurse uniform, with a confused expression.
Looking around the room you noticed shocked expressions from Dorn and Kelly who had put her gun down. Spotting Uncle Mike and the man that was with him on the news your eyes squint even more, Tryna put two to two together. “Y/N/N, aren’t you supposed to be at work, "Marcus says confused on why his daughter was there. Still shaking up from being shot at you say, “I was at work but when I was making my rounds with my patients, I seen you guys on the news ......but shit! I should be asking the questions! why are you, Uncle Mike and this dude, wanted fugitives …. matter of fact," turning towards the man, "Who are you?”. Seeing the man smirk he says," Someone you can get well acquainted with.” Just as you’re about to say something smart, your dad cuts in dramatically "Aye hell nah man! No hitting on my daughter, Mike get your son!”
Shocked you run your eyes over the Latino man which you can now see have some of Mike's features, “Uncle Mike since when you have a son, and why the hell is he dressed up like a redneck.” Running your eyes frantically over their forms you back up while pointing your hands at them and say, “matter of fact why are you all dress up like that.” Feeling your dad pull you aside to calm you down, he explains everything that happened these past few days. After getting the run down on what was going on, you rub at your eyes with a stressed sigh." So that’s Armando," you said shaking your head "I would’ve pulled my gun out as well if I’ve seen him, dad didn’t he almost kill you and Uncle Mike!", you said feeling frustrated about the situation. “Y/n,I know this is awkward, but he has evidence to prove that Captain Conrad is innocent.” Sighing again “Okay, fine but if he tries some shit just know Imma make him taste the rainbow.” Hearing laughter you look back to see the Latino leaning against the kitchen counter looking at you with a smirk on his face. Seeing your father look at you with a don’t do it expression made you huff and ignore Armando’s laughter. Before you could move to grab your purse off the floor your dad stops you again and whispered, "How long Kelly and Dorn been messing around, "letting out a short laugh you say, “For a minute now” Seeing your father smirk, and send a look to Mike, you knew they were up to no good but chose to ignore it.
Walking to the door to grab your purse and its spilled contents you feel eyes on you, gazing up you see Armando watching you with an unreadable expression. Rolling your eyes you pick up the rest of your stuff, but as you reach for your lip gloss, a hand grabs it. Looking up your face to face with the Latino himself, annoyed you extend your hand out, while raising an eyebrow. Watching his amused expression, you sigh and roll your eyes.
“Boy if you don’t give me my stuff,Imma punch you in the throat." Hearing him chuckle made you more agitated, but you kept your cool. As he holds out the gloss to you with a smirk you huff and reach out to snatch it, only for him to pull it back in a teasing manner.
Looking at him as if he’s grown two heads, you’re about to cuss him out when he says”Demasiado bonita para una boca como esa”. Furrowing your eyebrows you say “What?” Armando’s smirk widens as he says, “I said to pretty for a mouth like that.” Scoffing you snatch your lip gloss out his hands, putting it in your purse as you stand up and say, “First of all, my mouth is only like this because you almost killed my dad not too long ago, and secondly I can say whatever the fuck I want cause last I checked imma grown women.” Watching his eyes glance down at your body, you hear a low whistle, "You sure are, but if you ever wanna fix that mouth of yours, "he pauses allowing his pretty brown eyes to trail back up to yours,”aquí estaré mami” (I’ll be here mommy)
Shocked slightly at his boldness, you say “Boy if you don’t get out of m---,” but before you could finish, he was called over by Mike. At first Armando ignores him and continues to admire you until your dad says, “Boy get your ass over here," which made you break eye contact with him and look away.
Glancing back up you couldn't help but admire his physique as well but as he reaches the others by the computer set up. He glances back to see you staring which resulted in him sending you a wink. Rolling your eyes you turn away with a smirk," You your daddy son for sure," you say to yourself with a smile.

Mounting Spring Ch. 3
Summary: Paradis has opened its doors to the world, and the Rumbling has not yet occurred. The military board insists, "We need more Ackermans!" to avoid ruining Mikasa's life. Levi agrees. Arranged marriage, explicit consent, Omegaverse. Alpha! Levi x Omega! Y/N. Mentions of underage marriage but it doesn't happen, the reader is over 21.Age gap but they are both adults. (I would say enemys to lover but they don't even know eachother to be enemys lol.) Author note: I've had this idea for so long… Omegaverse is my guilty pleasure, and I decided to treat myself with it. From the creator of "Not in season?" I bring to you "Mounting Spring" lmao haha sorry it's just that my first omegaverse was rather a success… so I decided to do another. Masterlist to the previous parts! Ao3 link in case you prefer to read there!
The raindrops fell over the cobblestones, and, in particular, those falling from the gable were heavy against the small porch of the chapel where she waited. She breathed into her hands, seeking warmth as she tilted her head to the side. Now alone, she felt her curiosity begin to spark, like a cat finally let out of its carrier.
The narrow side streets hinted at the town’s size and social standing, with only one main road that, incidentally, was the only paved one. She guessed that if the weather hadn’t been so dreary, she could have seen the end of it. Her more optimistic side blamed the weather, but the town struck her as dreadful. In the distance, her attention was drawn to the farmer who had been inside with them.
He was talking to someone she assumed was his wife or another townsperson, with his horse beside him and a border collie patiently waiting against his leg. Eventually, both of them turned to look at her, and she stiffened under their scrutiny.
‘Should I... wave at them? Don’t small towns know everyone? Should I start getting to know everyone?’
But as her mind filled with these thoughts, they turned back to talk to each other. She pressed her lips together, feeling time drag painfully. The coat over her head made her uneasy. Almost involuntarily, she took a few deep breaths, catching a faint scent in the air, and then another, more focused sniff. It felt like cheating somehow, though it wasn’t, as her nose itched from his scent, and her body seemed to process it more deeply.
‘It’s deeper than Die...’ she thought melancholically. Perhaps it was because she hadn’t encountered many unmated alphas in her life, or at least hadn’t gotten close enough to catch their scent. ‘Well… isn’t he humanity’s strength? ...something like that. I guess it takes some strong genes to be called that.’
“All right.” Levi’s voice startled her, and she tensed, turning to see him. He was drenched from his search for horses but seemed to handle it with a calmness, like sheep who don’t mind the sky falling on them. His hand held the reins of two horses, and, if her mind hadn’t been elsewhere, she might have chuckled.
The black horse was absurdly tall and elegant, while the other was a dirty white with grayish spots, shorter and with bulkier legs.
“You can have the one I rented if you prefer,” Levi offered, handing her the reins. But she didn’t take them right away.
“Um…” She hesitated. “Sorry. I’ve never ridden alone,” she explained. Then, feeling the need to clarify, she added, “I usually just take carts.”
Levi quickly grasped the issue. After a brief consideration, he reached back and switched the reins. "Take mine," he said, extending the reins of the black mare instead. "She’s calm and obedient.” Levi said, nodding toward the mare. “Scout-trained.”
She looked at the tall, sleek horse in front of her, nerves clear on her face. He jerked his thumb at the other smaller, stocky white one. “This one, I don’t know.”
Her hand tentatively moved forward to touch the mare’s nose. At her touch, the horse nudged forward, her dark eyes focused intently on her. The mare’s imposing size made her hesitate. “Can’t we just ride together?”
Levi, double-checking the saddle, looked back and replied firmly, “No. Too much mud on the way. I don’t want to put extra weight on her.”
When he finished adjusting the saddle, he held out his arm, gesturing for her to step closer. He gave her a once-over and instructed, “Take the cloak underneath. No point in wearing it now that it’s soaked.”
‘Well… he does enjoy giving orders,’ she thought.
Feeling self-conscious under his observant gaze, she removed his coat, then unfastened her cloak, which was heavy and sodden. Her cheeks flushed as she noticed the white dress beneath was now damp and clung uncomfortably. She quickly ran her hands over her arms, trying to cover up, but Levi moved smoothly, placing his coat back over her shoulders before tossing the soaked cloak over the mare’s back.
She took her position beside the mare, gripping the saddle, though her uncertainty was plain. “But… with my dress and that saddle, it’ll be difficult to ride with my legs on the side.”
“Ride with your legs apart.”
She looked over her shoulder at him as he moved to help her up. Despite his short height, he hoisted her up smoothly onto the mare. She was perched high above him now, gripping the reins and feeling the unfamiliar weight of control. Levi stepped back and gave her a once-over, as though to make sure she was seated safely.
“This isn’t very ladylike,” she murmured, her voice carrying a note of unease as the powerful animal shifted beneath her.
Levi raised an eyebrow, still maintaining his stoic look but with a glint of dry humor breaking through. “Well,” he said, his voice calm and low, “I’m the husband now, and I don’t mind it.”
But the silence that followed told him all he needed to know: she didn’t find it funny.
“Just hold steady,” he advised, placing a hand on the mare’s neck in an almost fatherly pat. “She’s been through rougher trips than this.”
The mare, as if responding to his touch, lowered her head, brushing her soft nose against his hair and disheveling it slightly, so that her dark fur mingled with his equally raven locks.
With that, he took the reins and knotted them to the other horse and swung himself up with practiced ease, barely flinching at the wet leather. It struck her that he was completely in his element, as if he belonged here in this bleak weather and muddy roads, as if he barely noticed the discomfort.
The rain pattered steadily, its soft murmur filling the quiet as Levi guided his horse through the thickening gloom of the forest. Her soaked white cloak hung limply from the horse’s saddle. The water on it was counterproductive to keep the warmth, so she took it off. The green trench coat pulled over her head helped more, but it was far from miraculous. Despite the rain, a thick fog was rising as they left the small countryside town and ventured deeper into the forest. Soon, the cobblestones ended, leaving the horses to trudge through thick mud. The road became nearly invisible just a few steps ahead, and she cast a nervous glance at the forest, which seemed to stretch on endlessly.
“Captain… shouldn’t we wait? It’s getting dark, and it could be dangerous,” she murmured, eyeing the shifting shadows between the trees.
Levi’s response was firm, almost cutting. “I told you to call me Levi, and don’t worry.” His tone was as sharp as his gaze ahead. She wasn’t convinced, her brows knitting together in silent protest. Y/N clung tightly to the saddle of the black mare Levi had called his own. His raven hair stuck to his forehead as the rain poured mercilessly on him without his trench coat. When she pressed again, “But—” he cut her off.
“I wouldn’t do anything dangerous,” he declared, his tone allowing no debate. “If I say it’s safe, it’s safe. Understood?”
She murmured a reluctant hum, clearly displeased, but he glanced back over his shoulder, eyes piercing. “I didn’t hear you.”
She swallowed, muttering low, “Understood.” The word fell with barely concealed disdain, and under her breath, she added with a hint of defiance, “…sir.”
‘He said it wasn’t that far...’ but as they continued, it became clear that the headquarters weren’t close by.
Each step the horse took forward felt like moving deeper into an enclosure, further away from family and friends. Eventually, the rocky forest path opened onto the scouts' rustic facility—a large training field of neatly trimmed grass and a main building looming in the darkness, with smaller buildings in the back. She squinted, barely able to make them out through the thick fog but guessed they might be the barracks, possibly separated by gender.
She thought they would stop at the main doors, but Levi guided the horses further. The place overwhelmed her—she didn’t know where to look, and the quietness, at least from the outside, only made her more curious.
“Where is everyone?” she asked.
Levi looked around the quiet training grounds. “It’s late. Most of the soldiers are in the mess hall for dinner or getting ready for curfew,” he explained, his eyes sweeping the area with practiced vigilance. “Especially in this shitty weather.”
He dismounted near a back entrance, which seemed to be a service area littered with discarded training materials. When the horses stopped, she moved to dismount, glancing down to gauge the distance to the ground.
“Need help?” he asked, already striding over with firm steps, his boots far better equipped for the weather than hers. He positioned himself behind her and said, “Let go, I got you.”
With his hands under her arms, he lifted her down with surprising ease. She turned quickly to face him, but he just said, “Stay here. I’ll put the horses away.” before she could protest.
Though Levi’s presence didn’t exactly warm the atmosphere, his absence made the cold settle in even deeper. She shifted uncomfortably, her gaze darting around hectic —taking in the swaying trees under t the gusting wind, the flashes of lightning splitting the clouds. While the rain had momentarily stopped on the way back, it was obvious it wasn’t over. The forest sounds felt ominous in the dark, with only dim light illuminating the semi-open area at the back of the building.
‘I feel like a doe... in the middle of a meadow.’
Ignoring Levi’s instruction, she opened the door and stepped inside. She glanced down both ends of the corridor, where yellowish candlelight cast a warm glow. The hum of distant voices filled the air, and she wrinkled her nose in distaste. ‘It stinks.’
It reeked of alphas—too many of them. Down the corridor to her left, she saw two young women, a brunette and a dark-haired one, passing by. The brunette noticed her standing in the hallway and looked back with a puzzled expression.
‘Alright, maybe this time I should actually introduce myself.’
She raised a hand slightly, giving a tentative wave, but the brunette turned, calling out to someone—
“I thought I told you to stay there.” Levi’s voice cut in from behind, firm with a trace of irritation as he locked the back door. Without further comment, he led her up a nearby staircase, his movements swift and purposeful.
“But—” she started to object, glancing to the side, but he was already nudging her forward. His hand hovered at her back, as if nudging her without physically touching her, more a mental command than a physical push.
As they ascended the stairs, Sasha, a brunette at the far end of the corridor, tugged on Jean and Connie’s arms. “See, she’s there!” she exclaimed. But when the three of them looked down the hall, no one was there—only a trail of muddy footprints.
“...She was there,” Sasha insisted.
Jean shot her a skeptical look. “Sasha, are you that hungry you’re seeing things... again?”
Sasha frowned, clearly annoyed. “I saw her! I might be hungry, but I’m not imagining things.”
“Well, she’s not there now, that’s for sure,” Connie said, stretching his arms behind his head. “Maybe a ghost?”
“A suicidal one,” Jean added dryly. “Only higher-ups use the back door. And if Captain Levi sees that mud, he’d probably drag out a Ouija board just to kick that ghost’s ass for dirtying his floors.”
Sasha and Connie started to walk away, but Jean paused, wrinkling his nose and sniffing the air with a puzzled expression. “...I do smell something strange, though.”
Sasha and Connie shrugged, both of them betas, unable to pick up on any scent. But Mikasa, overhearing, joined them, her dark eyes narrowing. “Jasmine, berries, and coconut milk.”
Jean shot her a smirk. “Well, I did switch to a new cologne…”
But Mikasa ignored him, already walking ahead with a thoughtful expression, leaving Jean to trail off, his attempt at humor forgotten.
As they moved through the winding corridors, she struggled to keep pace. Levi’s stride was steady and brisk, his attention fixed forward, but after a few glances back, he seemed to notice her struggle. With a subtle sigh, he slowed his pace focusing on her feet to match her pace.
As he did so, he couldn’t help but notice the trail of mud they were leaving behind. Each footprint was a smear of damp earth and grime on the clean floor. His jaw tightened, and he clicked his tongue in irritation. ‘Focus on the important shit,’ he reminded himself.
Reaching the door to his chambers, he patted his trousers absently, then checked the pockets of his uniform jacket. His brow creased in mild annoyance before he remembered: ‘The keys are in my coat.’
He moved closer to her, his face showing a rare hint of apology. “Sorry,” he murmured, reaching into the pockets of the coat she wore. She held still as he fished around, finally pulling out the key with a subtle nod.
Before turning the key in the lock, he looked down at her shoes, now caked in mud.
“Wait,” he muttered, holding a hand up. He gestured to her shoes with a short nod. “Shoes off,” he instructed, bending to remove his own boots first, leaving them by the doorway. She followed suit, slipping off her mud-caked shoes, which felt heavier with every step.
She hesitated, glancing at the mud-covered shoes, but then leaned against the wall to remove her shoes. He did the same, tugging off his own boots and setting them neatly to the side. Once they were both ready, he unlocked the door and pushed it open, holding it for her to step inside.
To be honest, she couldn’t say she was disappointed—her journey to his office had shown her this wasn’t the marriage she’d imagined. She’d heard the Scouts were… humble people. ‘A sweet way to call them low class,’ she thought wryly, fiddling with her loose ring, trying to keep it from slipping off her finger. Part of her almost wished the room would stay dark so she wouldn’t have to face reality, while another part hoped for a glimmer of candlelight to surprise her for the better.
Levi shut the door behind him with a subtle sigh, closing his eyes briefly, as if gathering strength from somewhere unknown. ‘One task down,’ he reminded himself, as if safely getting her to the Scout headquarters unnoticed was his toughest mission yet. He shrugged off his uniform jacket and hung it on the coat rack by the door.
She stood, frozen in place, as he walked past her, lighting a few candles he’d set up earlier. He busied himself lighting more, methodically checking off tasks from his mental to-do list. “Why don’t you take a shower? The water should be warm,” he suggested.
‘And... here it is,’ she thought, her pupils darting around the room as though afraid to turn her head, scanning the place as the light started to fill it. She tried to hide her discomfort, not so much from a lack of hygiene as from a lack of warmth. Catching his eyes on her, she forced a thin smile. “Very... modest.”
‘…Empty and rustic, but the last thing I want to find out is what he’s like when he’s mad.’
The room had only two doors: one, she guessed, led to a small bathroom, and the other to the bedroom. The main space was an office with a single shelf filled with books and not much else. ‘Doesn’t he have paintings or decorations?’ She found herself searching for anything that might make the space feel less austere and more homely, something to give her a glimpse of who he was. The office seemed to be the most furnished part of the quarters, with a set of sofas, a coffee table by the fireplace, and a desk. The large arched window was probably his only indulgence, a feature suggesting he spent most of his time here.
“Shower?” Levi insisted, “Don’t take it personally, but I’d like to shower too.”
That snapped her out of her trance. “Oh—sure,” in a small voice. “Um... where did you put my luggage?”
Levi’s brow furrowed, and after a moment, he realized he hadn’t noticed her lack of belongings. “Was I supposed to have it?” he replied, answering her question with another—not a habit of his.
“I sent it ahead, two days ago,” she explained, “They told me it would be best.”
His eyes flicked to the window and the rain still pouring down outside. ‘Well… I think it’s pretty clear why that didn’t arrive yet.’
With a weary sigh, Levi leaned against his desk, one hand running over his damp hair. He looked worn out, both physically and emotionally. “This is a rural area,” he said, “and with this rain, it could take a few more days. A cart wouldn’t make it through the forest right now.”
Levi stepped over to his bedroom, opened a few drawers, and, without moving from her spot, she couldn’t resist sneaking a look. She leaned forward, trying to get a glimpse over the door frame.
She couldn’t see much, but curiosity stretched her mouth open as she craned her neck. A chest of drawers held neatly folded clothes, a couple of books stacked on top, and a wardrobe nearby had boxes on top that reached the ceiling (probably he used it as storage) with boots lined up beneath it. There was a standing mirror in one corner and she could only see the wood footboard of a small bed against the wall.
“Here, you can—” Levi turned back toward her, catching her in the act of peeking. She straightened up quickly, feigning innocence. He raised an eyebrow at her obvious interest. “It’s not as if it’s off-limits. Walk in if you want.”
‘Like a dog caught digging through the trash,’ he thought, mildly amused by her guilty expression.
“Anyway, here.” He handed her some clothes. “The rest is in the bathroom.”
She took them with a distracted nod, disappearing behind the bathroom door.
“Ah...” He let out a deep breath he didn’t know he was holding as he let himself collapse, boneless, into his desk chair. His hair was soaked, as was the rest of him, but he didn’t care. “A moment of silence.”
Though she hadn’t said much, her silence was somehow louder than any words. Covering his eyes with his forearm, he felt drained—he’d been through expeditions to retake Wall Maria, yet this felt just as exhausting. But as always, Levi quickly pushed himself back up, pressing the bridge of his nose to calm the headache beginning to throb behind his eyes, and moved on.
“I don’t have time to slack off,” he grunted to himself. He didn’t have much firewood left—it had been an unusually warm spring until today, and firewood was a luxury he was used to being frugal with, like nearly everything else in his life.
'She should probably dry her hair before bed,' he thought, setting a kettle of water on in case she wanted tea. He considered making himself a cup but, as “going to bed” crossed his mind, the idea shifted to the liquor he had stashed in a cabinet. He poured himself a small glass, not intending to get drunk, but needing something that soothed him better than his usual caffeine.
The fire began warming the room, and he placed his coat and jacket near it. He stepped outside briefly to bring in their shoes, cleaning them off and setting them to dry. The kettle’s whistle echoed in the quiet room, and he took it off the heat. That’s when a thought began to bother him.
‘Should I check?’ He found himself near the bathroom door, ear pressed against it, straining to hear any sign of life. ‘What if she passed out in there?... or maybe she’s just constipated and can’t take a shit’
Knocking softly, he asked, “You okay in there?”
“Yes, sorry.”
Relieved but mildly exasperated, he shook his head. She’s using up all the water in the place, he thought, realizing she’d definitely not adapted to the military’s five-minute shower rule.
Inside the bathroom, she was struggling to detangle her hair, but there was no conditioner, no hair mask, or anything remotely helpful. Her skin felt dry without any lotion, slightly raw from the harsh soap he had. Her hair smelled vaguely like cucumber, a tangled mess that only worsened under her frustrated attempts.
“We are not going to cry, we are not going to cry,” she kept whispering to herself in front of the mirror.
‘This was supposed to be my wedding night,’
For as long as she could remember, she had dreamed of her fiancé slowly, reverently helping her out of her wedding dress—a dress chosen just for him. She’d imagined him finally seeing her, her skin soft, her scent sweet enough to eat, a blend of lotion, perfume, everything.
Instead, here she was, struggling with tangled hair and an uncooperative brush, her mascara still on because there was no makeup remover, wearing a baggy T-shirt and gray sweatpants, smelling like some generic soap, with her wedding dress stuffed in a dirty laundry basket.
A million questions rushed through her mind. ‘What do I do?… Should I just lay there and let him do whatever he wants?’ ‘Is it going to hurt?’ ‘Would he force me to do something?’
“I could lock myself in here forever,” she reasoned, gripping the doorknob. ‘…Or could I?’
But eventually, she stepped out cautiously, slowly opening the door. He was sitting with his back to her, watching the fire from one of the couches. When he sensed her presence, he glanced over his shoulder. “Finally. For a moment, I thought you drowned in there.”
Eyes downcast, she muttered, “Sorry.”
Levi clicked his tongue. “It was a joke,” he grunted, feeling like nothing he said made the situation any less awkward.
Levi noticed her standing there, looking unsure and uncomfortable, and with a small sigh, he gestured toward the couch. "Sit down," he said, his tone a bit softer than usual. "Dry up. It's cold in here."
She hesitated but finally obeyed, slowly lowering herself onto the couch, her hands still clinging to her damp hair. Levi awkwardly stood for a moment, unsure of what to do next, before clearing his throat before speaking again.
"Do you want something to eat? I can go see if there’s anything left from dinner," he asked awkwardly, already knowing she hadn’t eaten since the long journey.
She didn’t reply immediately, only giving a soft hum as her response. Levi looked over his shoulder, brow furrowed.
"That’s a no, then?" he muttered, then shifted his weight and walked to the desk. He leaned against it, sipping from his glass.
"Fine," he muttered, “but I prefer when people actually answer me with words.”
She didn’t respond. He glanced over at her, then added, “You sure? I can bring something. I don’t mind.”
"No, thank you," she replied, her voice quiet but clear.
Levi let out a small grunt of acknowledgment, not wanting to push her. He felt an odd tension in the air as he took another sip from his drink. “Alright then.” He paused before offering, "Tea, maybe?”
"No, thank you." Her voice was quiet, distant.
Levi exhaled a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his wet hair as he tried to focus on the fire.
The tension lingered in the air, and after a moment, she spoke again, breaking the silence.
"When do you think my things will arrive?" she asked, a note of uncertainty in her voice.
Levi glanced at her, "Could take a while. The roads are bad, especially with this weather." He paused, his eyes meeting hers for a moment before continuing. "But if you need anything urgently, just tell me."
She hesitated, her eyes darting away. Levi frowned slightly, sensing she was holding something back. He was starting to feel a little impatient.
"Are you still on the rags?" he asked bluntly, unable to ignore the subtle discomfort in the way she fidgeted. "Need something for that?"
Her eyes widened, a blush creeping across her face as she looked away, clearly embarrassed by the question. She seemed to shrink under his gaze, her shoulders stiffening.
"I-I’m fine," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Levi raised an eyebrow, not entirely convinced by her answer. He didn’t know her well enough to be sure, but he was certain that something was off. He wasn’t about to let her go without offering help, though.
"Look, if you need anything, just say it." He rubbed the back of his neck, his voice softening slightly, “I can be named humanity’s strongest and all that bullshit but I’m not a mind reader,”
She didn’t meet his eyes, still hesitant, but Levi stood still, waiting for her to speak. ‘There’s no point dragging this out any longer,’ she decided.
“No, uh—” she chose her words carefully, “I’m over it.”
Levi still seemed confused, so she clarified, her face growing redder by the second. “I’m... ready for you… whenever you tell me.”
Her words dropped into the room like the cannonballs once used to break titans’ necks. Levi’s first thought, admittedly, wasn’t his most noble: ‘So... she thinks people don’t fuck when women are bleeding or?’
Lost in his thoughts and the awkwardness of the moment, he didn’t notice how she bit her lip, glancing up at him shyly. “Just—please, don’t be too rough on me.”
Captain Levi always had a comeback, a retort, a dry response. But now, he only pressed his fingers against his glass, eyes locked with hers, lips parted as if to speak but words caught in the back of his throat. Across his life, he’d seen people look at him in many ways—admiration, anger, pity, fear—but hers was different. Her eyes, reflective and tinged red, stared up at him with something close to terror. A terror filled with pure resignation, pleading him.
His jaw tightened, and he felt a knot form in his throat. ‘I’m going to make those bastards pay for this,’ He broke eye contact, turning his head and squeezing his eyes shut.
It was painful, painful for him to think someone could look at him like that. To see him as someone who might treat her as an object, begging him that at least, if he was going to do that, not to be a brute about it. But the worst part, the thought that clenched his throat even more was: ‘Like my mother…’
The room felt silent except for the branches scratching against the window in the storm outside and the flickering firelight. He forced his voice to sound steady. “Just go to bed.”
“Huh?” she asked, confused. “...Should I...wait for you there?”
Levi shook his head. “I can’t do it. Just go to bed. You look like shit.”
He wasn’t known for being the best communicator, and his words often got lost in translation. She blinked, panic rising in her eyes. “I’m...not pretty enough? I tried to look my best—I didn’t mean to disappoint. Please, don’t call this off…”
The thought of being sent back as a failure made her stomach turn. Her family, her younger sisters, her grandmother—they all depended on her.
Levi raised his hand, stopping her mid-sentence. “Oi, oi, relax. I didn’t mean that—damn it! I meant you look tired.”
“But—” she hesitated, moving a step toward him but keeping her distance.
“Shit,” he muttered, his cheeks warming slightly. “It has nothing to do with that.”
Her confusion was clear, so he forced himself to say it: “You’re...pretty, alright? That’s not the issue.”
She still looked uncertain. “If you don’t…claim me…what will people say?” she asked. “People will look down on you as a soldier, as a man...as an alpha.”
Levi chuckled, though he didn’t mean it. “Well, one good thing about who I am is that everyone’s too scared to say anything to my face,” he replied, almost gently. “I just can’t—not while you’re this scared.”
The truth hung in the air, and she resumed fidgeting with her ring, frowning as she looked at the carpet and her voice grew quieter. “What if…I never want to?”
Levi shrugged, too tired to pretend. “Then I guess we’ll wait until next spring when we’re both so damn drunk on hormones, you’ll be begging for it, and neither of us will remember it.”
"Spring?" she echoed, her caution mixed with disbelief. "But that’s a long wait..."
“Oh, well,” he said, with a dry humor, “we’ll just have to try not to kill each other in the meantime.” He gestured to the room. “Go to bed.”
"Where will you sleep?" she asked, then added, almost disappointed, "Do you... have someone else?"
Not that she was jealous, but she’d heard that “a good wife always knows.”
This time, the question made Levi scoff, an amused smirk tugging at his lips. “Good one. No, I don’t. I don’t even use the bed—I sleep at my desk.”
‘That can’t be healthy,’ she thought, grimacing. But, like a mouse just freed by a cat, she walked cautiously toward the bedroom, unsure if this escape was real. That can’t be healthy, she thought with a grimace of disapproval. But with hesitant steps, like a mouse released from a cat’s grip, she headed toward the room, still unsure how real this escape was.
Levi finished his drink, then readied himself to take his own shower, thinking, ‘It’s going to be a long, tense wait until next spring.’
A wait filled with mounting anxiety.

𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚. what was believed to be an all-mighty species in the past, was reduced to a forgotten folklore.
when you found dan heng, he was lying wounded in an alley like a stray cat. nothing about power or might was portrayed on his face: creased eyebrows, gritted teeth, he clutched onto a bleeding patch by his abdomen.
you took the injured creature to your home, and now, somehow, its his home too.
distant and quiet at first
when you took interest in your his book, he opened up ever so little – non stop yapping when you engage with his interests
dreams of traversing the universe in a massive space-weaving train
reveals that his nightmares are of a gruesome past. you stay by his side during those nights
you thought he would leave eventually after healing. how come he’s also cooking your meals and cleaning the place?
you learned the language of his tail: when he’s delighted, it wags like a dog. his tail brushes and wraps lightly around your leg when he is really relaxed
brews crazy bitter coffee – learned from a certain person. wakes you up like a slap to the face
it was another stressful day of work. endless papers and nagging, you were sure your supervisor must have been an enemy of the past who came to haunt you too.
yet, when you opened the door, the stress seeped out like vapour. after all, you had a dragon in your home. his terrific presence was ovepowering.
“hey, dan heng,” the mythical dragon was reading the latest volume by his favourite author. it was a strange image to wrap your head around in the beginning. as months passed, you grew accustomed to this daily life. “how’s the book?”
dan heng’s tail swished upon seeing you. quickly, he averted his eyes back on the book. “intriguing. it writes in detail of a distant planet covered in snow.”
“oh?” you placed a cushion on the floor, sitting next to him. you yawned, almost unhinging your jaw. “is it… good…?” you were slipping out of your composure, head hanging low, your body close to spilling over the table. sleep was taking you.
dan heng caught your shoulders, saving you from injury. your head was heavy with burden. he lifted some of your weight as he moved your head onto his shoulder, even if only temporarily.
as still as concrete, he dared not to rouse you from your deserved sleep. he has seen your restless days and effort to chase after the unforgiving deadline. it was why he took on your domestic duties, as best as he could, cleaning and cooking to ease some of your responsibilities.
his tail wrapped around your leg. just as you have been there for his nights, imbibitor lunae would be there for yours too.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐳𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐞. languid posture, killer eyes. a jiangshi, was your initial thought, yet he had no affinity for blood. but it was definitely not human.
you were strolling along the xianzhou pier when you bumped against a brooding frame. bowing your head, a wordless apology, you wished for that to be the end of the interaction.
it was only when you were in front of your house door, that you realised it had followed you, lured by your scent, the scent of a vidyadhara. no words, no other action. braindead? perchance.
when you opened the door, all hell broke loose between the dragon and a zombie.
that zombie went by blade.
theres not a day when dan heng and blade aren't having a go at each other
speaks even less words than dan heng. stares at you whenever he wants something. you’ve more or less learnt how to read him by following his gaze. for example, looking at the door meant he was bored and needed his walkies wanted to go outside
personal guard dog. will accompany you outside and swing his sword at anything threatening. although for blade, the threshold for what counts as threatening is horribly low. good thing normal people can’t see him
not too fond of light. when it is too bright, he trusts your body to block it. e.g. stretching your shirt as if it can hide him inside too
no thought, head empty. forgetful, zombies don't have the best memory
does he not notice the drool on his mouth when he stares at your bare arm? bites you randomly. not painful, though. you are always praying that his bites aren’t infectious like in the stories
sometimes you hear blade’s quiet ramblings. jingliu? maybe a fellow zombie friend. paying a price? maybe he’s in debt
“could you both please stop it already?!” your throat was burning.
“he… started it…!” the dragon struggled beneath the zombie, who was clawing at his nemesis.
you knew one effective way to stop this. “blade! i’m going for a walk!”
works like magic. blade immediately halted, empty brain firing at the trigger word. with one last sassy side eye at dan heng, he took his rightful place by your side.
dan heng stared at him, stunned. “what the…you littl-”
you browsed the stalls. a radiant shine caught your attention. it was a pendant made of multicoloured glass beads, hanging on a thread of intertwining rainbows. you held it under the sun, a kaleidoscope of crimson and sable shimmers reflected on your skin. it reminded you of blade.
without another thought, you purchased it enthusiastically. you turned to blade who stood with his sword in his crossed arms, eyes closed. “blade, let’s go. i have something for you.” you whispered, though most people would believe you were talking to yourself anyways.
blade nodded, eyes half-open. “o…kay…” his fingers tugged onto a corner of your jacket, a preventative measure for getting lost.
you both sat on a bench far removed from watchful eyes. verdant trees hung over you, shading you in camouflage.
taking the pendant out, you handed it to blade, smiling. “for you.”
“what gives…?” blade questioned, inspecting the gift as if it had evil hidden powers.
“no reason, really,” you watched his careful hands which cradled the pendant. “well, i guess it reminded me of you.”
blade gazed at you. he looked at you and then his pocket. you tried to decipher it; this was one wasn’t in the manual.
he scooped out a golden lump and handed it to you, holding your hand in his. “for you… too…” blade mumbled.
“wait… this is…” you picked up his gift, eyebrows creased. “this is… this is the limited edition ultra rare golden super original one-in-a-billion trashcan figurine! you remembered!” you squealed, excited beyond measure. “how did you even- did you steal this??”
of course he remembered your favourites, however hard it may be for the forgetful blade. when he thought of you, even he, a zombie, could become human again.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧. these pairs of statues were all too common in the streets of xianzhou, a semblance of divine protection and prosperity.
you were on your usual stroll, which happens to attract the worst fates, when you felt a pair of eyes on you. you gulped. the one day you don’t bring blade along, has to be the time where his sword would prove useful.
turning around, you saw a guardian lion statue. wait, did it just tilt its head?
you blinked. that day choked the loudest scream out of you. in front of you was the spirit known as jing yuan.
you opened the door to your house. hell broke another time between a dragon, zombie, and a lion.
in spirit, jing yuan is a lion; by heart, he is a sloth. bro sleeps all day like a cat (though a lion is a big cat). unlike blade, jing yuan loves sleeping in the sun
reliable, wise old spirit. offers you good life lessons.
gently scolds dan heng and blade when they fight, like a father and his children. works 50/50 on blade, but your method has a 100% gacha rate. you become the emergency button.
fluffy mane. works great as a stress reliever (approved)
has a good friend, lightning lord, who comes to hang out
cultivated a garden in the back. plucks the flowers for you.
fondness for children. he did mention having adopted some blue kid once.
“now that i think about it,” you turned to jing yuan who was sluggishly lying on the living room floor, flicking through the tv. “where’s your partner? don’t guardian lions come in pairs?”
jing yuan was chewing on some jerky. “i ate them.”
“huh?” you examined the jerky in his mouth. “surely not…”
jing yuan did not respond, smirking like a mischievous cat. he patted down the space next to him.
you raised an eyebrow before sitting down where he wanted you, legs splayed on the floor. the afternoon sun casted its gaze through your window. it was perfect for a nap.
jing yuan decided just that, taking your lap up on offer. his bountiful mane bundled like wool in your hands as you stroked his head.
“what if i clone myself? perhaps that can complete the pair.” jing yuan hypothesised, a playful gleam in his eyes.
“you can do that?” you asked curiously.
“why, of course. as a powerful spirit, my abilities are quite extensive. i can even make blade smile with his teeth showing.”
“ah,” the thought was uncanny. “please leave blade alone.”
suddenly, a bulky weight pressed onto you from behind. strong arms draped around your waist, encircling you in a warm embrace. someone or something was nuzzling onto your shoulder.
you looked back and saw jing yuan. you looked in front and saw jing yuan. two. jing. yuans. your brain exploded. “o-oh-”
the original jing yuan studied how your body grew warmer. “if you like it so much, i can keep him here...” he purred.
“i don’t…” you recollected your jumbled thoughts, retraining your breathing. “it’s too many spirits here! one jing yuan is enough.”
original jing yuan grinned. “so that’s your answer.”
clicking his fingers, the original jing yuan sucked in the fake one, like he was drinking a beverage. he rubbed his belly, satisfied, the cat-like smile plastered on his face.
everyday you experience something new. “oh… my god.”
jing yuan licked his lips. “told you i ate them.”
“did jing yuan just...” dan heng was standing in the doorway, perturbed. a giant shadow loomed behind him. “commit cannibalism...?”
blade charged forward, sword in hand.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. a myth that travelled from the far west, they were also known as shapeshifters.
on your casual walk, and you swore after this you were never leaving the house again, you stopped by a pharmacy. you talked to a blonde man behind the counter and asked for pain relievers.
“uhmm, sorry, who are you talking to?” the assistant was concerned as she approached you.
you pointed at the man in front of you who was chewing on the assistant’s head. “huh? what?”
you did not realise that luocha was a spirit, his human disguise fooling as intended.
blade kicked down your door before you could open it. the changeling struggled against a dragon, a zombie, and a lion.
the most enigmatic one out of the bunch. even the other spirits are creeped out
occasionally, his neck creaks at impossible angles, bones crunching. recites anything he has absorbed. kinda like a parrot. you get used to it.
the house is cramped so luocha is banished to the basement with his coffin. sometimes sleeps on the living room floor. always tripping over his body. plus, he sleeps with his eyes open
outside of his healing expertise, he has negative common sense in everything else. has probably almost burnt the house down a hundred times, if not for jing yuan’s protection spell. chews on blade’s hair like a horse. dan heng will weaponise an egg in hand when needed
willing to learn the ways of the human. is attached to you as he copies your actions, but is sloppy and clumsy
changeling powers come in handy for espionage. want to change your work days? ask luocha to disguise as your boss and grant seven sundays
will sometimes shapeshift when overwhelmed – like a shut-down response? whose dog is that? why is there an elephant on the toilet?
waking up to another dreadful day, you headed downstairs. luocha rose from the dead like a mummy, arms criss-crossed on his chest.
your heart leaped. “the living room floor again?! ugh…” it was too early for this.
“good morning, master.” luocha stood up. he bowed, and you cringed hearing his spine break in half.
“uh, you don’t have to call me that.” you scratched your head as luocha reanimated himself back up straight.
luocha scratched his head. “your majesty?” he curtsied, almost tumbling.
“no, that’s worse.” you tilted your head.
he tilted his head. “my honeybear?”
“what? where did you learn that?” you sighed. “just call me by my name. and please stop breaking your neck already.”
luocha readjusted his twisted neck. “hmm, i see.”
you walk to the kitchen, roaming for breakfast. luocha marched up to you. “what is the most wondrous one doing anon, languish in posture and darkened eyes, at the crack of the ascending, hopeful dawn, at which hour thee shouldst beest slumbering soundly without a careth?”
you just barely understood him. “making breakfast, wanna help?”
“oh, i see.” luocha’s eyes twinkled. he read about this in the books, the part where the two main characters get closer as they cook together. a domestic activity that touches the hearts of readers as the characters brush hands, sidled close.
grabbing your ingredients, you chopped the tomatoes in slow demonstration for the learning luocha. “here, you try.”
“i see.” luocha takes the knife, his grip questionable as he holds the blade upright like a sword. fear ran cold in your veins as you gulped it down.
“u-uhh, maybe don’t hold it like that- holy sh- luocha you chopped your leg off!!”
“that didn’t work.” luocha calmly reattached his leg like it was just another day.
your lips curved down. “let me see it.” your fingers caress the area when the wound would have manifested. it really did heal.
“i... see…” luocha read about this. the part where the main lead tends to the other’s injuries. was it hurt and comfort? in this scenario, they get closer as their true feelings spill out after almost losing each other. then… they k-k-k-k-k-k-k-ki-kik-kis-kis-kit-kith-
“luocha, why did you turn into an elephant?”

you sigh the weight off your chest after recounting your strange encounters. “so that’s that.”
huo huo’s eyes are distraught.
“ha! hah! hahahaahaha!” the tail, conveniently named ‘tail’, roars, “how miserable! so, you want us to perform an exorcism? name your price peasant, no lower than a million credits!”
“tail…” huo huo swats at the heliobus. she looks back at you. “if it’s an exorcism… i can place a talisman in your home to w-ward off the yin energy temporarily. i suspect that your overflowing yang energy is… attracting strong spirits.”
“well… that means they won’t come back?”
huo huo tilts her head, pondering the stars. “i guess so,” she notices your scrunched eyebrows. “... are you sure about this? oh! not that i-i’m saying you shouldn't but… you looked happy when you were talking…”
“huh? really?”
“preposterous!” the tail fumes, “you mean that they looked depressed! depressed! why in lan’s name are you turning away good money?!”
you contemplate for a moment. without those four, your days would be quiet, peaceful. isn’t that what you wanted? isn’t that why you came here in the first place?
maybe, you enjoyed your little haunted house more than you thought.
you sigh, chuckling. your eyes brighten. “thanks, huo huo.”
she nods, smiling at your refreshed confidence.
the night feels different now. lantern lights dress the streets in a bright fever, like the kindling of fire. was it always this warm under the cold night sky?
you open the door once more. the scene is all too familiar.
“hey dan heng, what book is that- “
“blade, why are you biting the table leg?!”
“jing yuan, wake up, it’s past evening already!”
“and luocha… just keep being you, i guess.”

Ok I’ve been grumbling a lot so here’s what I LOVED about PJO episode seven:
- every Sally flashback. I love seeing the struggle Sally went through, mostly alone, to raise Percy separate from a world actively trying to suck him in. There’s no good explanation for being so adamant to send him away out of love. If they lived in a normal world she’d homeschool him in a heartbeat. Her kid thinks he’s unwanted and it feels like there’s nothing she can say to make her words and actions match. Heartbreaking and really well done. It also allows me a small bit of sympathy for Poseidon, who is in a similar situation on a larger scale. (Not entirely, he’s a goddamn god and all that, but I liked seeing their struggles framed as parallel, wanting to keep Percy safe and having to make hard choices to do that.)
- loving Toby Stephens as Poseidon. Cant wait for more of him.
- Annabeth gave Grover a stress ball
- annabeth immediately takes the stress ball away and I’m like >:0 only to realize it’s bc they’re about to encounter Cerberus and Annabeth is always thinking six steps ahead.
- Asphodel was haunting, I liked it a lot.
- Annabeth getting stuck because she has regrets. It gets me thinking… Percy “good kid” Jackson (who feels like a screw up constantly, who would fall on his own sword a million times before letting someone else get hurt first) and Grover Underwood (who feels directly responsible for Thalia’s death and probably a majority of his ward Percy’s misfortune) are standing RIGHT THERE. What the hell kind of regrets does Annabeth have that she’s the first to get grabbed??
- Hades is very fun. I cannot believe this is Nico’s and Bianca’s father. And Hazel’s omfg. my heart melted when he said “I will give you sanctuary.” Do you know how big a deal that is? Percy is, for all intents and purposes, THE lightning thief, who broke into YOUR underworld, slinging accusations and speeches, blaming you for a war you want no part in (and that he, as the supposed thief, is literally the cause of) and you look at this kid. This poor 12 year old. Who Does Not Know what storm he is walking into. And you tell him he is public enemy number 1, that he is not safe anywhere, but that he and his mother will be untouchable here, should he ask for it. You tell him that you saved his mother of your own volition when we know Zeus himself would not save his own child. Legendary.
#think I’m gonna make a separate post about Hades bc I really like him actually#pjo spoilers#pjo tv show#percy jackon and the olympians#percy jackson

pairing ↠ enemy!jeno x (f) reader
genre .. warnings ↠ smut, noncon, enemies au, unprotected sex, choking, smacking, degradation
summary ↠ ever since the two of you could walk, you and lee jeno have had it out for each other. you think that there's a chance he's finally matured and gotten over his inexplicable loathing for you, but when you encounter him after a football game, you finally learn the truth about why jeno doesn't like you.
wc ↠ 4.1k
a/n ↠ part 4/5 of the college-capades series!
don’t like it, don’t read.
just like any other friday night, you were prepared to go home, take a hot shower, and wind down with a video essay while munching on whatever snack you were currently fixated on.
guess what didn’t happen.
bitch, we should really go watch that football game tonight, your best friend said. it’ll be fun, she said.
though you desperately wanted to change out of the jeans that had grown uncomfortable after twelve hours of sporting them, your best friend, persuasive as ever, manipulated your sympathy with claims of all her other friends being busy and the most shiny, pleading eyes.
ultimately, you somehow agreed. your stubborn walls were broken when your best friend wanted something. you told her you would meet her there and hopped in your car, heaving a breath. curse you for being nice. to some people, anyways. sometimes you wished you hated her.
football games were just the last thing on your mind. three years of being a student at this university and you’d never come to a single game. it just wasn’t something you were interested in, especially when the star player was no other than lee jeno, your lifelong enemy.
the disdain you felt for jeno was inexplicable. ever since the sandbox, you just never got along. your family’s never understood the mutual reproach you had for each other and after a couple of dangerously unsuccessful attempts at a reconciliation throughout the years that almost ended with one or both of you in the hospital, they just accepted that you two didn’t like each other.
over the years though, it started to feel more and more one-sided. jeno didn’t go out of his way to get on your nerves anymore. but it makes sense, you thought. we’re grown. it’s a good thing he’s kind of mature. you didn’t disturb him either, rather going out of your way to avoid him whenever you could.
so tonight was just one big slap in the face. almost like it was the universe’s way of telling you to go fuck yourself.
and afterwards, you were positive that you would never be seen at one of these events ever again. sure, your campus football team was everything to brag about if you were a hardcore sports fan that gave a damn, but it was definitely not worth the girls loud cheers that irked your ears when jeno scored the winning touchdown. it was not worth the hollering when his team hoisted him into the air in celebration. that, or you just did not like to see jeno happy at times when you felt borderline miserable.
so three hours later, plus the time it took for you and your friend to do some mandatory socializing with familiar faces, you bid her goodbye and tried to locate your car. given that you were definitely not the first to show up and your school was pretty popular, you didn’t find an available park in the lot.
“hey, wait up,” came a way too familiar voice from behind you.
you barely turned your head, not really having to, but your brows furrowed. why on god’s green earth was lee jeno following you? and in a change of clothes too. jesus christ, i’ve been here way too long.
“not happening,” you hissed irritably. you just wanted to go home.
“fine, i’ll just follow you then.”
you ignored him, not thinking he would genuinely follow you but when you still heard footsteps when you planted your feet in front of your car, you realized you’d definitely underestimated jeno’s weirdness.
still not turning around, you searched your purse for your keys and asked, “you do realize how creepy this is, right?”
jeno shrugged, not that you could see. “well, your idea of a good idea is walking alone in the middle of the night. anybody far more creepy than me could take advantage of an off-guard woman digging around in her purse.”
you scoffed, “i was only digging for a second.”
“that’s all it takes.”
not wanting to admit that he was right, you spun on your heels and snapped, “what do you really want, jeno?”
jeno grinned. “to talk.”
“to talk?”
“yeah,” jeno said, stuffing his hands into his pockets. “i mean, first, i couldn’t let you walk by yourself. just in case somebody got to you.” somebody other than me.
you droned, “oh, wow. i guess i should be so grateful a big, strong guy like lee jeno followed me to my car. should i say ‘thanks?’”
“it wouldn’t hurt.”
“go fuck yourself,” you retorted.
jeno threw his hands up in defense. “like i said, i just wanted to talk.”
you rolled your eyes. god, you couldn’t believe you were entertaining this guy’s bullshit when you could be on the way home already. even better, you could run him over with your car. “jeno, i don’t like you. we have nothing to discuss.”
ignoring your balking, jeno continued, “i couldn’t help but notice your resting bitch face while watching the game.”
your voice was dripping with the bitter taste of irony, “wow, a stadium full of girls and you noticed me? i could almost faint.”
jeno snickered. “you’re funny.”
something is definitely up, you couldn’t help but assume. this was the longest conversation you’d had with jeno in… ever.
jeno crept closer, asking, “did you like the game?”
“my resting bitch face doesn’t speak volumes?”
“oh, it certainly does,” jeno said with a chuckle. “but i wanted to hear it from your mouth.”
you leaned against your car, folding your arms. “if you want approval so badly, go find one of your screaming fangirls that are just dying to meet you. i’m sure you’d get tons of attention. maybe even a blowjob or two.”
jeno cocked a brow, but that sly fucking grin never vanished from his lips. pretty as they were. “jealous much?”
you looked like you wanted to gag and dry-heave all over the place. “oh, honey, please. i just think it’s… dramatic. bleeding my ears out because lee jeno sweated a ton and got his pants dirty - woo hoo! what will he do next?”
“sports are an art form. you wouldn’t get it…”
you cut him off with a wince, “oh, god. you sound exactly like the type of guy i do not want to piss off at a bar.”
jeno took that in stride, changing the topic, “do you have any plans for tonight?”
you spat, “why do you care?”
jeno shrugged his shoulders, almost like he was absolutely clueless. “just curious.”
“even if i do,” you started, exasperated. you had plans with your bed, if the sleepy haze in your eyes said nothing. “that’s none of your business because i hate you and you hate me. remember?”
“you hate me,” jeno corrected, stepping so close he was now directly in front of you. “i let that go in high school.”
you were quick to retort, “right, after you found out what a vagina was.”
jeno finally started to break, nearly closing the gap between your bodies. “you’re so mouthy, you know that?”
you swallowed, damping your throat. he towered over you a little. never in a million years did you want to show jeno any fear, though you weren’t certain of what was going on. “jeno, what are you doing?”
jeno ignored you. again. “holding onto resentment from when we were fucking kids just because you want to be a stubborn little bitch. do you even know why you hate me?”
you blinked. you were beyond confused.
“i heard you fucked mark. and jaemin. oh, and haechan,” jeno snarled, extending a hand down to your ass. “all on the football team.”
“that’s none of your goddamn business,” you hissed, trying to pry his hand away from you.
jeno snickered. that was bizarre and the most hilarious thing you’d said tonight. “babe, it’s the football team. it’s everybody’s goddamn business. word gets passed around quick through us. clearly, so do you.”
you recoiled, affronted. though you tried to wrestle from jeno’s arms, he was infinitely stronger than you, and that seemed to please him because he wasn’t finished.
“do you plan on sleeping with the entire team - is that it?” jeno pressed. “johnny’s gonna make it big one day. are you going to get him to get you pregnant? live off an nfl player’s child support checks?”
you shoved at his chest, but he wouldn’t budge. “are you actually this mad that i don’t want to sleep with you?”
“get in the car,” jeno hissed.
you couldn’t believe what you were hearing. “what?”
irritated, jeno opened your car door and forced you into the backseat none too gently. you whimpered in pain, having hit your head on the roof, and jeno clambered in the back with you, shutting the door behind himself. you didn’t even get the chance to sit back up before he unceremoniously threw your purse somewhere in the front.
now, you were officially beginning to panic. you never thought he would go this far. fear seeped into your bloodstream as your self-preservation instincts kicked in, and you swung your legs, successfully kicking jeno in the groin.
you tried to open the door on your end while he grimaced in pain, but you were too slow, jeno dragging you back towards him by your legs and holding tightly onto them. he went to unbutton them, grumbling, “god, i can’t fucking stand you.”
“jeno, stop. i said stop!” you exclaimed, eyes widening. “i’ll tell your parents!”
“don’t tell me you really think my parents will believe you over me,” jeno scoffed at how ridiculous that statement sounded, just before mocking, “i hate you and you hate me. remember?”
“then, i’ll tell mine,” you snapped.
“so like you to run and tattle to mommy and daddy,” he sighed, now reaching for your panties. “all that will do is start a family vendetta. now, is that really what you want, babe?”
you frowned. it was like he planned this.
jeno wholeheartedly intended to show you who was the boss, barking, “answer me, bitch.”
“fuck you.”
obviously, jeno didn’t like that, grabbing your keys and smacking you across the nose with them. you groaned, wincing your eyes closed.
“i said, answer me,” jeno growled.
you stood your ground. “and i said ‘fuck you.’”
he slapped your keys against your nose again. your hands flew to your face, a hiss slipping out of your mouth when you touched your nose. though it felt broken, you knew that it was most likely just bruised. you fought the oncoming threat of tears, never letting them reveal themself as anything more than a shimmer in your eyes.
“you might want to reconsider. or else you’ll probably have to ask daddy to buy you a new nose,” jeno warned. “now, like i said, is that what you want?”
you shook your head.
“with your mouth. i’m not afraid to bruise that lip, either.”
“no,” you cried out, fire in your tone.
jeno smirked. “there you go. was that so hard, babe?”
“yes,” you muttered.
jeno laughed, tickled. almost like something was funny. your panties were now thrown aside and you sucked in vicious breath when his finger landed on your pussy, trying to remain strong. you knew that he wanted to see you fall apart. that was just something he always wanted.
but this was something more than that. it was darker than pushing you to the dirt at a playground or bumping into you too harshly in a hallway. this was brutal tenfold.
“i would never tell them anything,” jeno said, referring to his team, you assumed. he pushed his fingers up your cunt, much to your dismay. “nobody deserves to know. you’re all for me. just for me.”
knowing that his teammates obviously kissed and told made it harder for you to resist the tears you desperately wanted to let fall, because you felt so violated in so many different ways, but you didn’t succumb to the sting. you could take it. you would have to.
“i’m not yours. i never, ever, will be yours,” you said with an alarming amount of vitriol.
jeno pinched the inside of your thigh, making you jolt. “yes, you are. i fucking own you right now. you’re going to do whatever i want. my fucking toy.”
before you could even get any spiteful words out of your mouth, jeno slipped a hand up your shirt and pinched his fingers around your nipples, making you holler a sharp cry. you didn’t understand why he was acting so mean all of the sudden, though you guessed he’d just gotten better at repressing his reproach for you and stifling the need to inflict torment on you.
never in your life had you ever felt so helpless before. jeno was trying to break your resolve and you couldn’t let him, but with every blow to your willpower, he was getting closer and closer to winning. for a second, it occurred to you that that was all this ever was, and all he ever cared about. being able to say that you lost and he won.
and he really had you convinced for a second that maybe he wasn’t so terrible of a guy anymore.
jeno tugged at his pants and you started to fret, trying to crawl away, but to no avail. you should have never came here. you should have stood your ground and went home like you wanted, because you didn’t want this.
“calm down. you’ve had dick in you before,” jeno chided, removing his underwear next.
this was the first time in your life you’d ever been truly scared of jeno. any other day, no matter the situation, you’d faced him bravely. but this was beyond your expertise. “jeno, please. please don’t do this. i’m begging you!”
jeno snorted in amusement. he almost couldn’t believe that you were begging him for mercy. you, of all people. he knew there was more vulnerability where that came from and he was hell-bent on breaking it out of you.
the tears were finally trickling down, hot and thick as they dampened your cheeks. “please,” you whimpered, hating how desperate you sounded. “if you let me go, i won’t tell anyone, i promise.”
“that’s cute,” jeno chirped. “not really tempting, but cute.”
you slumped in defeat. there was no getting to him. he was dead-set on sweet revenge for whatever perceived wrongdoings of yours that had wounded his poor, fragile ego.
all jeno could think about was how hard he was, watching your bottom lip tremble and your figure paralyze with fear. he’d seen you cry a few times in his lifetime, mainly because of him and when you were younger, but this was the first time he’d seen genuine fear glimmer in those eyes of yours. and he was addicted to it already. you always tried to convince the universe that you were tougher than you really were, and he’d always been determined to uncover the weak, fragile girl you truly were. to show you that he was infinitely stronger than you.
it happened in a blink. jeno pounced on you, lining his dick up at your cunt, whispering in your ear that he was going to fucking destroy you. you sobbed harder when he finally pushed inside, deep. the burn of the stretch was agonizing and you were inclined to scream, but you in no way wanted to give jeno that pleasure.
“fuck. you should’ve never been such a goddamn cunt,” jeno hissed, sinking his fingers into your hips, fueled by the noises of anguish that parted your lips. “now i’ve gotta put you in your place.”
“asshole,” you said through gritted teeth.
jeno grabbed your hair roughly, swallowing the little whine that escaped you, and stared into your glistening eyes. he could see the hatred smoldering in them, but most importantly of all, he could see how weak he thought you were and thought it was nothing short of pathetic. “baby, you don’t even know how pitiful you look. i’d shut my mouth if i were you.”
you didn’t want to know. you could feel your mascara running down your face, already realizing that your makeup was ruined, but that was the last thing on your mind when jeno was forcing himself into you.
your pussy was so warm and tight around his cock, he couldn’t help but want to shove himself deeper and deeper. the fact that he was a making a mess out of you only turned him on even more, he wanted to engrave the image into his memory indefinitely, and he considered taking pictures just to save it but that would’ve been too incriminating.
he thought many despicable things about you, but you weren’t worth his future. matter of fact, you weren’t worth anything to jeno. not a dime or a spare nickel and the way he fucked you said that loud and clear.
jeno ranted, “this is all your fault, you know. you’re just so damn delicate and breakable.”
“you will never break me,” you barked, though your voice was weighed down by your grief.
jeno burst into laughter and the sound was physically sickening. “hate to break it to you, babe, but i already have.”
you couldn’t bare to look into his eyes anymore, casting your gaze anywhere else.
“wasn’t that hard,” jeno continued nonchalantly. “should’ve done it sooner. i mean, you might have got away if you weren’t such a mouthy little slut that needs to have the last word all the time. hiding your weakness under all those - fuck - witty remarks, but i’ve always seen who you really are. fragile.”
you shook your head. his words were ripping you open and you hated it with every fiber of your being. you didn’t want to cave. “no, i’m not!”
“yes, you are,” he snapped. “you’re a fragile little whore that talks a big game but can’t take what she deserves. admit it.”
“no,” you exclaimed.
jeno wrapped a hand around your throat, firm and strong and everything in between, and your eyes went wide when he impaired your ability to exhale. your hands went to his, trying to pry him off of your throat, but you would never be stronger than him. never be strong enough to fight back. “admit it, if you want to breathe.”
the room started to reel. maybe it was all the hits you’d taken, all of his aggression that you’d accidentally elicited, that made it even more unbearable than the lack of oxygen causing the lightheadness, but there was a fleeting second where you couldn’t feel, where it felt unreal and dream-like, and you detached yourself from the moment so jarringly that the pain dissipated. and then that second was over, and reality seemed to hit you tenfold.
his hands felt tighter around your throat. his body felt weightier on top of yours. his breath was louder than it seemed before, and the flickering heat of loathing torched by his irises burned hard enough that you couldn’t even cry if you wanted to. it was just a silent agony. a cry of distress with parted lips, but no sound.
and when the lights felt like they were flickering, even though in reality there were almost none at all, just a distant street light stationed some feet away from your car, you accepted that you lacked the arsenal and power to win this battle, croaking with the last of your strength, “i… admit it.”
jeno’s grip on your throat slackened, though he didn’t let go. “you admit what?”
“i’m weak,” you confessed in a whisper, throat sore from his brutal touch. you wondered to yourself if he had crushed something or if the pain just felt more intensified in the moment. “i can’t hack it.”
“you never could,” jeno added, finally releasing your throat.
finally, you could breathe again, but your next breath was the most painful of your entire life.
when jeno spread your legs apart a little more, uncomfortably so, you whined, but you noticeably lacked the backbone to fight it. you just took what he had to spare, lying against the leather seat as the metal seat belt marked your skin and jeno’s body rocked you back against it from his movements. it was the least hurtful thing you were feeling.
mustering one last breath of fight, you whispered with all the venom you could summon, “i hate your guts.”
“i’m kind of loving yours right now,” jeno quipped, slapping your cunt as if to emphasize that statement.
every second started to bleed into each other, no more or less excruciating than the last. you gave up on fighting. no matter how hard you tried, it only resulted in jeno taking advantage of your weakness, smacking you across the face or dragging his nails across your skin. you knew your body was covered in marks, you could feel the ache, prickling everywhere.
“fuck, i’m gonna cum,” jeno hissed, running his hands up your shirt.
that much was obvious. his movements, though they had never not been careless, grew more erratic and rhythmless. quicker, shallower, even, but harder.
you set your fingers at his biceps, begging, “jeno, please don’t cum inside me.”
jeno scoffed. “of course not. you don’t deserve that much of me.”
all that you could do was sigh. as if you wanted to be pregnant with his baby anyways. you physically recoiled at the thought.
jeno pulled out of your cunt, and you were relieved for a second, until he rotated you until your face was towards his cock and instructed, “open.”
parting your lips, you sucked his cock into your mouth, knowing you would regret it if you didn’t. you already felt broken enough. if you weren’t careful, he might’ve fucked around and killed you. hell, he almost did.
“you’re so much prettier when you’re being a good girl instead of running that useless mouth,” jeno commented.
grabbing a fistful of your hair, jeno controlled your movements, using your mouth until he came in your mouth, grunting, “swallow.”
you tried your best, you really did, but you didn’t think he would cum so much, and so hard. there was an unsparing smack of his hips against your face as he fucked your throat until, at last, he came with a ravenous growl. you couldn’t help what slipped out of your mouth and drizzled down your chin, onto the leather seat. your leather seat.
still, jeno didn’t let go, roughly lowering your head to the seat. “eat my fucking cum.”
there was no way in hell that you wanted to, your stomach churned at the mere thought of doing such a despicable thing although you had practically swallowed most of his cum already, but it felt physically degrading to lick his cum off the seat of your own fucking car. his hold didn’t slacken until every spot was gone, and you slumped backwards onto the chair, facing the roof.
there was a kind of emptiness scraping your chest that was like nothing you had ever felt before. it was despair, yes, but to such an extent that it felt like nothing. and then it was so much of nothing that it throbbed and ached right there in your heart, and mind. probably your soul too. your entire being felt frozen, rigid. so cold that it burned.
this is what it meant to be broken, you would’ve thought, if you could think. though since you could not, all you really did was lie there, a misty haze in your soulless eyes as your hands were slumped at your sides. had not your chest been heaving like raging waters, jeno would’ve thought you weren’t even alive.
and really, truly, you guessed that was what he wanted. he didn’t want you dead, not literally, maybe. but to make you feel so deprived of everything that gave you dignity that life itself was lifeless.
“i think i’ll take these,” jeno said, holding up your panties to the air like they were a flag of some kind. “you know, as my reward.” for breaking you.
you said nothing. after everything else he had just taken from you, ripped from your very hands like it was nothing, you couldn’t be bothered to care about something so replaceable. you wanted your pride back. you wanted your dignity back. but he stripped you bare of everything, all of your strength and will, all of the fire inside your body that kept you alive.
he would never know what that felt like. in the time that he spent making a point, you’d lost your sense of self and direction.
and jeno just slipped back on his clothes like nothing ever happened, sneaking away like a thief in the night, without a goodbye as he left you there to fend for yourself in the chaos that he’d created.
and he did it all with a satisfied smile on his face.

They're going on a best friend date. 🥰
Previous / Next
Helena: Caleb, get dressed. We’re going out.
Caleb: [mumbling] Oh, but Dru and I were just getting comfortable.
Helena: She looks like she’d rather be elsewhere. And so would I. I’m tired of being a recluse with you. All I can think about when I’m hanging around here is my next meal.
Caleb: But where are we-
Helena: It’s a surprise! Would you rather I ask your sister instead?
-
Lilith: Where are you two off to? Oh, are you having one of your little mental conversations. You know I hate that. It’s so unfair! Fine, don’t tell me. But at least take your hellcat with you. [to rubber ducky] I guess it’s just you, me, and that… thing. Now, what are we going to do about them keeping secrets from us?
-
Helena: Why have we never taken this path?
Caleb: Enemy territory.
Helena: Oh my god, is this the way to Vlad’s? You have to show me his place!
Caleb: [weakly] Helena…
Helena: [shudders] Ostentatious and creepy as fuck. It’s strange how little I noticed that first night. And what I do remember is all fragmented and blurry, like a dream.
Caleb: Well, you had an awful lot to drink, and you did technically die. [ruminative pause] Then, of course, there was all the glamouring-
Helena: Glamouring?
Caleb: Vampire party trick. Like hypnosis, but more sophisticated. Once you learn it, you can make yourself as discreet or flashy as you’d like. Most humans have encountered vampires without even realizing it. If they stumble into this place — and make it out alive — they likely won’t remember how to return. Straud and the other ancients keep it well-shrouded.
Helena: [nervously] Does it work on other vampires? I’ve barely seen any-
Caleb: We can always see our kind for what they are. You’ve just been unobservant.
Helena: Hey! I’ve been distracted. It’s hard not to have tunnel vision when you’re in perpetual survival mode.
Caleb: You’re feeling better now. I can tell.
Helena: I’m full on plasma and ready to party!
Caleb: [chuckles] Seriously?
Helena: Well, not quite. You’ll see.
Caleb: You know, I could just peek into your head and-
Helena: [teasingly] Too bad your morals will never allow it.

Can i have corset, trench coat with Sun hat and gloves
For Lewis
A/n: Thank you for your order! Hope you enjoy
Cute Enemy
F1 masterlist | Main masterlist |
Summary: reader used to drive for Mercedes and now drives for the rival team red bull. At her time in Mercedes she wasn’t the closest with Lewis and now with her in red bull Lewis has to get her attention somehow so he’s mean to her and act like they are enemies.
Pairing: Lewis Hamilton x driver! Reader
Warnings: smut mdni, cursing
Order receipt:
Corset: Oh you don’t think it’ll fit? Cute, I’ll make it fit
Trench coat: You can’t escape from me
Sun hat: enemies to lovers
Gloves: Rough sex
Reader pov:
I was making my way to the re bull garage after entered the paddock hoping to avoid media.
I made my way around sneakily when I heard a voice which caused me to jump
“Sneaking around rival teams are we now l/n? Didn’t think you and your team could be more pathetic” Lewis’s voice snarked out
“Watch your mouth Hamilton, I was trying to avoid media. Besides I don’t need your team secrets, your car is so shit I don’t think it qualifies as an f1 car” I snarled back and left
Lewis pov:
I watched y/n walk away after the little encounter we had
All of these small little encounters with her never failed to make my heart flutter. She was beautiful and I wanted her to be mine.
I didn’t really know how to approach her when she was my teammate as I was shy and nervous but with her move to red bull I couldn’t even observe her at meetings or around the garage
So to get her attention I decided to be mean to her. It sounds wrong I know but I don’t know how else to get her attention.
After that I went back to the garage to get ready for fp3 and qualifying that was later today
Reader pov:
I really don’t know what hamiltons problem is. When I was his teammate, he refused to talk to me and now that I’m his rival he suddenly starts throwing insults at me.
I really wished he liked me more.
Truth is I’ve been in love with him for quite a while but he never talked to me so I knew the feelings weren’t reciprocated.
I went about fp3 ending up first again like fp2 and fp3
If I qualified pole today I had a really good chance of a grand slam this weekend
I got congratulated by my team and was going over some data when I felt some eyes on me
“Hey Max what’s up?”
“Nothing really, just wondering what’s up between you and Lewis”
“What do you mean? I told you, we never talked as teammates and now he decides to be a real piece of shit and curse me out every single time we see eachother”
“Mhmm sure that’s what you think”
“Huh? Max what was that? Hey! Don’t leave me hanging here!” I said as he ran out the garage
Timeskip:
I had qualified pole got the fastest lap and led every single damn lap of the race
My first f1 grand slam was complete
I finished interviews and walked into my drivers room to change and head to the bar to celebrate with the team
As soon as I entered my drivers room I was pinned by a strong muscular figure
“Quit wriggling around will you?”
I froze, it was Lewis. I wriggled even more
“Stop it! You can’t escape from me. You’re helpless.”
“All these years I was scared to even talk to you and now that I’ve got the courage I’m going to fuck huh like I should’ve all those years ago”
With that he kisses me deeply with immense passion
I kissed back and he started working on removing my race suit
He pushed me against my plush couch and ripped my undershirt off
“My my, look at you. Such a hot mess all for me”
I quickly worked on removing his pants and shirt
After removing his boxers I came face to face with his huge cock. My eyes widened. How is that going to fit inside me?
“L-Lewis I don’t that will fit inside me”
“Oh you don’t think it’ll fit? Cute. I’ll make it fit darling”
With that he ran his finger down my slit and rubbed his cock with my juices
He lined himself up and shoved his cock straight into my pussy
I screamed at the hugeness of his cock and feeling of being stuffed to the brim
He didn’t give me time to adjust and kept thrusting in and out at an inhumane speed
“A-ah Lewis I can’t take much more of this”
“Oh darling I never asked for what you can and can’t do. I will make you do whatever I want and you have no power in this situation”
Lewis continually thrusted in me causing me to climax quickly and cum all over his cock
After a while of me screaming from being overstimulated, he slowly reached his high, thrusts getting sloppier and deeper
He came in me with a loud groan
“Goddamn darling, you sure look good when you’re fucked dumb”
A/n: hello lovelies! Hope you enjoyed this fic, I promise more are soon to come! Do keep requesting, I really cannot come up with ideas anymore. I have about 8 more fics lined up after this so stay tuned! As always leave your feedback! Kissies ✨

Bang Bang
Requester: @Laer111ee (wattpad)
Rating: R
Summary: Enemies to Lovers
Inspiration: Bang Bang by K'NAAN
Note: my goodness.. it may be my longest one shot
Loki’s POV
I’ve always known humans to be the weaker species, surely much lower than most of the nine realms of this universe. It wasn’t until I had really spent an.. annoyingly long amount of time on Midgard to realize I could still be surprised.
It was strange, how Midgardians have history books filled to the brim of war and chaos, caused by their own doing. Why is it that when I try to rule, they turn against the idea? They most certainly have no problems living with those elected to decide how they live; is it because I am the god of chaos that makes things different? That I am not human? All.. nuisance cast aside with how things went upon them sending their earth’s mightiest heroes, I did at least gain one positive aspect through it all.
Her.
Was wasn’t quite special, no powers running through her delicate yet capable feminine body. Just years, perhaps a great solid decade at most of hard-core training- that humans would consider hard core. Gods even I am picking up on their simpleton language. Nevertheless, whatever this woman has gone through to earn her spot amongst these Avengers, she was truly the first, pure human that could actually get my body to tense in battle, for me to actually have to concentrate, to be less.. cocky, as I’m told.
She keeps up.
“you have a nasty habit of running from the inevitable-‘’ she called, slowly walking through some abandoned building as I kept myself around the corner from her eye sight.
The SHIELD uniform hugged beautifully to her body, much more mesmerizing than The Widow. She quickly let her eyes flick down briefly to make sure she was carefully walking amongst the debris, going right back up to make sure I hadn’t appeared in sight yet. It was quite amusing, the serious in her face as she searched for me, this not even being the first time she’s sought me out.
Although this woman walked around half the time with a loaded shotgun, -though it was hardly enough to concern me, something about her seemed to make me feel like I could have no concern with whatever she would point at me. Like she wouldn’t be able to pull the trigger, though I wasn’t quite in the mood to test out the possible bluff. She seemed to shoot me straight in the heart anyway, and to my own surprise, it came with no pain..
Why they don’t send someone with heightened abilities, I am unsure. Yet she’s lasted this long, though most of our encounters I’ve held back a lot- and she knows it. I just tend to always look forward to our next encounter, and I can’t very much do that if she is in a recovery wing. I am not a fool though, and normally there is either one or two Avengers outside the building in which I sneak to, indicating that she is perhaps still being put to the test by going after me.
‘’and yet you still follow darling.’’ I chuckle, using the angles where my voice could echo rather than give away my location as I eye the gun clutched in her hands. ‘’tell me, how many times will your heroes send you before they finally think you’ll catch me?’’
Her E/C eyes narrow, her head moving to all directions as she pressed on, her nose twitched as she ignored the knocking feeling to sneeze with all the dust. Cute.
‘’perhaps I’ve been holding back as well, when are you going to have the balls to have a real fight with me?’’
I couldn’t help but smirk at her vulgar language, most likely using sarcasm to substitute her fear, though I did not smell any on her. I began moving myself through the halls, knowing from a birds eye view of the building, I was making my way around so I could be behind her. ‘’when I know you won’t break as soon as I touch you..’’ quite often, I’ve hinted at an inuendo. As I’ve pushed much of the thoughts down, it wasn’t new for the idea of perhaps laying down with her to cross my mind if even given the opportunity- though I do like my partners willing most of the time.
‘’how about you stop hiding like a coward then?’’
It was a weak answer, but I knew she just wanted me to keep talking to give away my position as I quietly turn the corner and was now getting an eye view of her backside- hips swaying with a sculpted rump. I have wondered if those heroes merely send her for me to be distracted in hopes that she could use that to defeat me.. it hasn’t quite worked yet.
“It could be fun if you stop holding back.’’
My brow raised at her last statement. Did she enjoy these pointless battles just as much as I did? I rather sought out her closeness, her sarcasm and fierceness though she was as harmless as a young mongrel. I could always smell her scent when we fought, almost seeing the oils and soaps she uses and there was only one time I could have sworn I could smell arousal. My cock twitched at the mere thought and brought me out of my thoughts as I slowed my pace behind her. Though this closeness now I just couldn’t resist.
‘’you want fun then? Let’s have fun..’’ I whisper in her ear, seeing her body tense at the realization of my whereabouts and I had just enough time to inhale, my eyes fluttering as I got what I wanted before I leaned back when she swung an elbow back.
She was quick, turning around and pointed her gun towards me in which I was quick to grab and yank free before I had to watch her other arm. Fighting Midgardians was almost like fighting something that moved in slow motion, and I was happy to play along as I let her hit my chest now and again though I could tell she had gotten stronger since the last time we’ve met.
‘’dare I say you also look forward to our little dance sweet Y/N?’’ I smirk, teasing her to throw off her concentration as she glares, increasing her speed as she keeps trying to find an opening.
‘’I look forward to finally seeing you behind glass again Loki’’ she snapped though I gathered no anger in her voice as she dropped down and I quickly stepped back from a leg swing.
‘’ah so you much prefer talking than our physical interactions out here?’’ I press before she humps back to her feet, ramming the top of her head into my jaw. It didn’t hurt but it was the force that had my eyes fly up and I had to regain my footing as she kept going at punching at my pressure points- trying through my armor at least.
‘’I prefer you putting your mouth to better use-‘’ she cut herself off, the surprise matching my own as her body stilled for a split second and she shook her head ‘’interrogation!’’ she added, trying to redirect her meaning as her mistaken inuendo had my humor triggers.
I laughed and something in my chest seemed to switch at how this woman made me feel in that moment where she was quick to try to correct herself by fighting harder. It worked.
For once she got the best of me, fighting rather dirty through her embarrassment and opted to quick me in the groin. My amusement was quickly replaced with pain and she had me on my back in an instant with her blade to my neck. My hands were up, palms towards her in a surrender position where we both caught our breath.
‘’let me know if the offer still stands,’’ I smirk, knowing any wrong moves she would press the blade deeper than it was as I felt the slight warm trickle of blood at my neck.
Her free hand moved to her thigh, my eyes watching rather mesmerized as my mind screamed to get me out of this situation. With her body on top of mine quick comfortably in a pin, my body had other plans and wished to remain as she pulled out her radio. Sound seemed to have left my ears, seeing her speak but I couldn’t hear anything as I watched her.
This woman was different..
That had been quite some time ago, perhaps a little bit over a year and It was only 3 months later of.. attempted interrogations, they even sent her, because they realized my “plans” haven’t been put into place yet, day saved if it hasn’t started yet. After those boring 3 months, I found out someone had requested and convinced me to remain house bound to the Avengers tower, participating in community service here and there if my magic needed to be put to use depending on the foe they were fighting that same day. Of course, they never let me out without a particular Asgardian bracelet my idiot brother brought back that would dull my abilities, ensuring my escape would not be easily attempted.
When I had arrived at the tower for my new living situation, I received the not-so-surprising welcome from those heroes, and I often wondered who convinced SHIELD to let me be housed here. When my eyes landed on Y/N, those features reddened and her eye contact wavered, I knew it was here. I never brought it up, but as we conversed here and there throughout my time, her kindness compared to the others was a define confirmation where I never really needed to ask.
And our friendship grew.
Reader’s POV
Loki and I were similar in many ways- not so much the fact that he killed people or tried to take over the world or that he was narssassistic.. okay perhaps not that similar. Though in many house-life ways we seemed to be two peas in a pod.
I knew from the start the Avengers had sent me first to try to take him down, to put me to the test, so to speak, during my training days. To everyones surprise, he and I weren’t the stereotypical enemies. I would never admit it, but Loki was right.. fighting him was almost something I would look forward to, because we knew we couldn’t bring ourselves to kil each other.
Weve grown in friendship since he’s arrived, I noticed long before there was something different about him.. so I spoke with Fury and although Loki hasn’t figured it out yet- to my knowledge, I was assigned to secretly ‘babysit him’.
Whenever he entered the room, I couldn’t help but look at him with the feeling that my lips wanted to curl into a smile. There was a strange flutter in my chest, almost a wanting that I hoped he would sit next to me, talk to me, anything where I was really in his attention. He strongly disliked everyone else, perhaps me a bit less so I hope that wasn’t the main reason why he would come over..
I don’t want him to hate me..
We sat across from each other in another meeting, hosted by Rogers as he yet again had to debrief us on how we could do better on the latest assignment. From the corner of my eye, I could tell Loki was staring and I shifted a little shyly by his intense gaze. Whenever I would move to look back at him, his eyes were quick to move on Rogers and sometimes I would question if he had really been looking over here or not.
Just to test that theory, I would sometimes lean forward against my forearms on the table, my clevage showing a bit more with whatever top I was wearing that day. From the corner of my eye I could see Loki seeming to study my skin, him taking a strained swallow as he shifted in his seat sutly. I couldn’t help but smirk as I ‘listened’ to Steve, loving to tease this man to get back at mild mischief he would throw around in the tower when he was bored.
I would only sit back in my chair when I notice Tony activitly leaning forward to stare down my chest, hearing a growl form Loki as he seemed to look jealous before I would roll my eyes at Stark.
He would after flirt, casually of course in a normal conversation and catch me off guard where he’d smirk at how red my cheeks would get. Often mentally preparing myself to see him every day I would usually beat him to it with a flirtation inundo where he then would either stutter or turn away to try to make sure I wouldn’t see his own cheeks redden.
Cat and mouse, taking turns on who would be played and the player.
That’s how our relationship was, flirting and conversing. The only one who could hold up an interesting conversation around here and get me to think. He had so many ideas, good ones, and thoughts where we’d lose track of time. Truth be told I think I have began to gain feelings for this god.. and it scared me to death but upon seeing how.. for lack of a better term, weak, I could make him, it also made me feel bold, powerful, and I liked the person I was when I was around him.
Yet it’s not like he felt the same.. I probably was just another weak mortal in his eyes, decent enough to kill time with if this was all the options he had..
Nobody’s POV
Loki’s footsteps slowed, moving with causton down the halls as soon as he heard slight sound coming from the kitchen down the hall. Exactly where he was heading to In the middle of the night, as one does.
He was bare chested, black boxers being the only article of clothing he had on and with a dagger formulating in his hand as he neared the corner. No one has been up this late, and judging the cercumstances of where they were, you could never be to sure with the enemies that could pop up. Yet when he peaked around the corner, there was no enemy..
Her.
She had on.. very short shorts, a tank top with no sign of bra on as she kept her back to him at the stove. The dim stove top light was the only lighting she gave herself as she stirred something in the pop while his body relaxed with the non-threat.
Why was she up at this hour? He was only fetching himself a glass of water..
The dagger slowly vanished within thin air, his eyes starting from her ankles and slowly working their way up as he leaned himself against the doorframe. He had seen her in varies outfits- from work, to casual but never sleep attire. His teeth captured his bottom lip, feeling like he hasn’t blinked as he shifted himself by the slight growing reminder at how he felt towards her. Upon pawing at his boxers, he exhaled in slight discomfort and as soon as he noticed her body tensed, his hand moved to his side as she turned.
‘’oh! Loki-‘’ she gasped, quickly hushing herself as she grabbed her heart from the surprise. Her eyes seemed to widen at the sight of him, not exactly having seen him in his own sleep attire before- let alone shirtless. ‘’what are you-‘’
Playing it off quickly as if he hadn’t been staring for long a moment ago, he casually shrugged and moved himself towards the fridge with his eyes forward. ‘’I am merley fetching a glass of water, I am more curious as to why you would be cooking yourself a meal this late in the night?’’ he asked, glancing over at the stove as she turned off the burner.
‘’sometimes I just wake up with cravings- I wasn’t to hungry at dinner time so I suppose my body makes up for it now’’ she smiled sheepishly and leaned herself against the counter, watching him.
Loki gave a mild hum and a nod, taking a glass and turning around to face her. ‘’well do not mind me, I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything’’ he smirked and slowly sauntered over to her.
He could notice her breathing picking up as he stood before he, having to tilt his head down a little to look at her as his height served as a reminder.
‘’n-not at all-‘’ she shook her head, sucking in a breath as he raised his arm while he held eye contact, their expressions steady at a stalemate before he reached around her, his arm gliding against her side before he pulled back with the water pitcher in hand. Looking embarrassed, her eyes moved over to the stove, checking on nothing which made him smirk.
‘’is there a problem?’’
‘’of course not- I’m just waiting for you to finish up.’’ She said with quick defense where he couldn’t help but chuckle, motioning around him as he poured into his glass.
‘’I am not in your way darling, unless of course you require things from the fridge but I do remember you favor that particular meal as is- plain package contents.’’ He said with no judgement- not anymore, he had wrinkled his nose the first time he had seem packaged ramen but held back his negative opinions when she had him try it one day.
‘’I know I just- am not used to working in the kitchen with someone around..’’ she said and rubbed her arm as she seemed to want to close in on herself.
‘’that is not try Y/N, I distinctly remember you having no issue working in the kitchen when one is present,’’ he corrects calmly and takes a sip of his drink, eyeing her before he sets down the glass beside him. ‘’I think you are merely just not used to one seeing you in quite the.. intimate attire..’’ he smirked and she picked up on his teasing, narrowing her eyes as she crossed her arms to seem stubborn but she really just tried covering herself.
‘’I am perfectly fine, Loki, with cooking in anything with anyone. I just enjoy my peace and quiet and wish to resume it as soon as you leave.’’
‘’quite the lie darling, how long will you be keeping it up until you remember what the god of I am?’’ he laughed, quickly lowering his voice as he leaned against the counter across from her, almost acting as a mirror as he rests his palms beside him on its edge just as she did.
He couldn’t help but notice her- not so subtle- eyes roaming over his chest in quick movements as if he wouldn’t notice. Did she admire him as much as he admired her?.. or wasn’t strictly just their forms they liked..
‘’..was it an innuendo?’’ he asked, seeming to surprise himself as the words came out.
‘’-what was?’’ she asked, raising a brow as she thought if she said anything right now that would make him think that but he clarified with a shake of his head.
‘’in our last fight.. when I was free.. before all,’’ he waved his hand around as his eyes slowly raised over to hers. ‘’this..’’ he cheeks reddened at the very pit he had dug himself but he had to ask. ‘’you told me.. that you would rather put my mouth to better use-‘’
‘’that was strictly involving interrogation-‘’ she said quickly, her cheeks heating up as she turned herself around, gripping the counter edge in her hands as she kept her back to him.
She was hiding, quite shy and although he was rather embarrassed himself upon asking the question, he quite liked the way he could make her squirm this was as she hid her face from him. ‘’all of it?’’ he asked slowly and she knew he was waiting to try to read on if she would lie to him.
Her eyes studied the countertop, her mouth searching for words while her mind raced before she closed her eyes and shook her head. ‘’no..’’
Loki’s heart seemed to jump in his chest, his eyes looking over her back.. backside to be exact while he listened to her answer. So she did want him.. he began to take a small step forward, watching how she stayed still as she kept her back to him but she was very much listening to his movement. ‘’as it may seem.. I want you to Y/N.. but not in just that way..’’ he took a breath, finding it easier to confess while she wasn’t piercing him with her eyes and he continued on.
‘’your not like the other mor- ..humans.. your strong, you help others, your not selfish and dare I say just as mischievious as me.. intreging.. I’ve often looked forward to the next time we got to fight if it so meant being just a little bit more close to you..’’
By now he was standing behind her, seeing how she kept her head low and her body began to shake as she drew in a breath. ‘’..i like you too Loki.. you make me feel like I’m alive.. you make me want to be better.. stronger.. free.. I knew since day one you were holding back in the fight for a reason..’’
He slowly rested his hands along hers, his body hovering just barely against hers as his chin almost rested against her shoulder. His eyes fluttered closed, taking an inhale of her sweet scent he loved so much while he shook his head. ‘’I couldn’t hurt a sweet thing like you.. it was you who told Fury to put me here, wasn’t it? Out of the cell?’’ he finally asked and she nodded a little, looking forward as she straightened a little, bringing her body up so her shoulder was resting now against his chin.
He took this as an okay to rest a little weight on her, his chin down on her shoulder while his hands moved to rest on top of hers. His body was so close to hers, he could feel her body heat radiating off of her skin and his cock throbbed as he could smell her arousal. Her sweet.. sweet scent..
‘’thank you Y/N..’’ he whispered, grateful every day to be stuck here if I meant being close to her like this. Glass between them didn’t cut it. His thumb gently stroked her smooth skin on her hand, his brows furrowing as the straining reminder and he took a shaky breath. ‘’..does the offer still stand?’’ he whispered, asking the same question he had asked a long time ago.
His body tensed, holding itself back to remain in control as she slowly nodded and whispered back, ‘’yes..’’
Moving ever so slowly, keeping in control and full prepared to stop himself if she would change her mind, he pressed himself up against her, his bulge resting against her ass while his chest pressed against her back. His hand slowly left her own and moved to her waist, his palm flat as it glided down her hip and moved so his fingers could dip under the edge of her shorts.
With one last hesitation as if she would change her mind, his hand moved into her shorts, dipping into her underwear and found out just how aroused she was. They both seemed to suck in a breath, her body beginning to shake as he buried his face against the side of her neck and hair.
‘’gods Y/N.. how long have you dripped for me..’’ he breathed and felt her body tense as she bit her lip.
‘’to long..’’ she whispered and felt the pads of his two finger tips began to rub lazy circles against her clit.
Her hips seemed to press forward into his hand, her head falling back to rest against his shoulder while his hand stroked through her folds. Her breathing was shallow and she arched her back a bit when he began slowly grinding his bulge against her ass, following the same rhythem of his hand.
His own body shook a bit, his breathing seeming to match hers as he nuzzled his cheek against hers, their eyes closed as they feel into the sensation of lust while Loki moved his hand so his thumb could take over her clit while a digit began ghosting her enterance, teasing her as he moved his finger barely in and out.
Her fists clenched as she bit her lip, the teasing slowly driving her made and she could almost see the smug look on his face as he waited for her to give him what she wanted. She wasn’t having that and instead, pushed her ass a bit into his crotch, pushing him a step back before pulling his hand out by her wrist before she turned herself around.
Loki smirked, following her intentions as his hands moved to her waist and helped her jump onto the counter, her legs spread while he made quick work to pull her shorts and panties off all in one go. He had to take a pause, the sight to beautiful to just admire as his hands gripped the counters edge alongside her spread legs while she rested back on her palms.
His mouth seemed to water at the sight of her cunt, ready and waiting while he sank to a knee. The care if someone would walk in was long gone for them both as Loki moved his hands to grip her hips before he dipped his head between her legs. The very taste of her had him pulling her forward so she was closer to the edge, her legs shaking to almost squeezing his head while her own rested back with her eyes up to the ceiling.
‘’fuckk..’’ she breathed, her fingers gripping the edge as he moaned, lapping her center while his vibrations helped her along to build her pleasure.
Silver tongue alright and he couldn’t get enough of her as he ate like a man starved. He lapped through her folds, taking turns suckling at her clit and tongue fucking into her center while her hand moved to his hair.
His locks were silky smooth, her fingers tangling themselves in his hair while she panted for her sweet release. His careful slow movements made her eyes flutter open, noticng how he slowed as soon as her cunt began clenching against his tongue and she bit her lip. Replaying his tongue with the pad of his finger, he kept her on that glorious edge while he rubbed into her clit, raising his head as he smirked up at her.
‘’say it.’’
She held her breath, cheeks heating up as her fingers gripped his hair, knowing he was to strong to pull him back down herself as his eyes pierced hers. With a shaky breath, she knew what he wanted.. she knew for so long what he wanted..
‘’please.. oh god please Loki.. please let me cum..’’ she begged, a whine in her tone as tears of sexual frustration build up pricked her eyes as he gave her that all to familiar smirk.
‘’as my lady commands,’’ he purred before moving his hand back to her hip and replaced it with his tongue, plunging it in and out of her center while the tip of his nose rubbed against her clit.
Her hips began bucking, her grip tightened in his hair before she threw her head back and moaned, shamelessly moaning his name as her eyes fluttered closed while she came. Loki wasted not a single drop as he drank her in, his hands rubbing up and down her thighs soothingly, almost like that alone was telling her good girl..
With shallow breaths, she felt his mouth slow its movements, helping her ride out her orgasm while her body shook. Pulling his body back slowly, he gave each inside of her thigh a kiss before he raised himself to be nose to nose with her, his palms resting beside her thighs as he smirked.
‘’how’s that for holding back?”
Her eyes widened as her hands moved to grip his shoulders. ‘’you were holding back??”
‘’do you think I hold back just in battle darling? I do not wish to break my fair mortal’’ he smirked and his eyes glanced over her before flicking back up. ‘’we are merely in the kitchen, if you wish for a proper.. fucking, then to the bedroom we go.’’
Her cheeks heated up and the realization that it gets 10000 times better- impossibly- made her eyes flick down to his raging erection. That piercing gaze of hers moved back up to his own and she mirrored his smirk as she moved a hand down to where he wanted her most.
‘’how about we put my mouth to use too..’’
Loki smirked and pulled her forward, her arms wrapped around his neck while her legs around his waist.
‘’..i will accept that offer in.. full.’’

Young Love (Marco x f!winged!reader)
A/N @quinloki 👉🏼👈🏼 I did it, I made it based on the prompt ‘Oh i’m in love’ I don’t think it turned out as well as I was expecting but I hope it can at least bring a small smile to your face. I wanted to do at least something for your birthday, kind of like a thank you for all the things you give us. This is really soft as it is when marco is on his teens; again I really hope you like it and here we gooo
Reader here is replaced by Dokucha which stands for reader in japanese
Dividers by @/drinkthesky and @/firefly-graphics
“Huh, Marco, where are you going?” Teach called, watching as his senior jumped off his post and walked into the forest that lined the clearing they were currently making guard at
“I’m taking my break,” He called, not waiting for the response of the former as he continued to walk deeper into the forest, sighing when he finally made it to another clearing ways away from where the current ceasefire was taking place.
He dropped to the ground with a slight huff, closing his eyes and crossing his arms as he thought of his small exchange with Roger’s first mate; his fists tightened as he remembered how easily the man had brushed him aside. Embarrassment filled him at the memory of his full-blown attack being stopped by a single finger. Perhaps if he hade-
His eyes shot open at the sound of leaves crunching and rustling behind him. He knew that thanks to the ceasefire, even if it was one of the enemy crew, he was in no danger. He glanced behind him to shoo them off, only to pause at the sight of the stranger.
Standing there, slightly hidden behind a tree, was not one of Roger’s men. In fact, it wasn’t even a pirate; rather, it was a young woman. By the looks of it, she appeared to be a native of the island they currently stood on.
Marco’s face flushed as the woman peeked her head out of the tree. A small arrangement of feathers decorating the back of her head, held together by a highly intricately designed headband. In her hand, she held a similar-designed bow. However, it was the wings that she showcased on her back that grabbed Marco’s full attention.
Marco scrambled to get up, letting out a small yowl as this caused him to fall head first into the ground, quickly picking himself up and trying to appear casual in front of the girl.
“H-Hi,” he cursed himself for stuttering as he tried to get his nerves under control.
“Are you a local?” He questioned
“I am, who are you?” She questioned
“I -I’m from the Whitebeard pirates. We stopped here for supplies but encountered some difficulties, so our stay has extended more than planned.”
“You’re a pirate?” She exclaimed
Marco was caught off guard as the girl jumped fully out of the tree, fluttering close to him.
“What is it like out there? Have you been to many islands? Do you travel in a big boat? How does it feel to travel? Do you have a big crew?” She hurriedly asked, curiosity shining in her eyes as she leaned closer to the young man, her hands forming fists as she lost herself more and more in her excitement
“Ah! I - Im sorry,” she spoke, taking a small step back.
“I got a little excited… I’ve never seen the outside world, so I guess I got excited to meet someone who has,” she muttered, slightly hiding herself with her wings in a bashful manner.
“It’s okay,” he assured her.
“I don’t really mind telling you about our travels; we have seen all kinds of islands.”
The two spent the rest of the night exchanging stories. Marco excitedly told her about the different seasoned islands scattered in the sea, even telling of an island lost in the old times and an island made entirely out of trees. The girl listened in awe at the dangerous adventures the man had taken part in and the numerous treasures he and his crew had managed to claim, laughing at the tales between him and his brothers, along with the Captain of the ship he referred to as pops.
In exchange, Dokucha told him all about the island. The small village she and the rest of the villagers resided in, being taken in by them when she was fairly young after her family had been wiped away by a hurricane that stroke the island as he comforted her. She told him of the colorful flora that littered the island, even showcasing some of it by tucking a blooming flower on his hair much to his delight. She told him of the equally extensive fauna; from big to small, the island was home to all kinds of creatures. It wasn’t until the sun began to peak that Marco took notice of the time as he shot to his feet.
“I have to go back to camp; the ceasefire will be ending soon,” he spoke, stopping as he spotted the disappointment on the girl’s face. He kneeled down close to her again as he grasped her hands, the previous flush returning to his face as he did
“I can come back tonight,” he promised.
“Really?” She questioned hope filling her face
“I will, will I see you here? I still have to tell you all about the Moby dick.”
“Yes! I will see you tonight, then!”
“Great!”
And so the two promised.
-
“Marco! I was worried you wouldn’t show up! She exclaimed as he spotted the small tuft of hair approaching the clearing with haste.
“I’m sorry, the fight went on longer than I thought it would tonight,” he explained.
“Are you okay? Were you hurt?” She questioned worriedly as she took in any possible injuries
He gushed internally as she worriedly assessed him, spinning around him to ensure nothing was amiss.
“My injuries heal,” he stated with pride as he stood confidently.
“Heal?”
“My devil fruit enables me to heal myself instantly.”
“Devil fruit?”
He paused, realizing that she must not have acome across the concept of devil fruits on the island; as he explained the concepts and power of devil fruits and how his own worked, he watched as her awed expression grew into an elated one as he offered to show her his full Zoan form.
She gasped as the man before her enveloped himself in cyan flames, covering her eyes at the bright flames in the otherwise lightless clearing. Once her sharp eyes adapted to the change in light, she lowered her arms, gasping as she took in the huge bird that stood before her; entranced, she approached him, extending her hand towards him and gasping; it wasn’t hot as she was expecting the flames to be, rather they were warm, they were inviting, they were
“Beautiful….” She uttered as she kneeled in front of him taking him in
The words she spoke would forever be engraved into Marco’s mind as the words that would change what was a small crush into a blooming love.
-
“Marco! You’re here; it’s strange seeing you during the day, isn’t eve-Marco?” Dokucha stopped her words as she took in Marco’s frantic state
“Marco, what’s wrong?”
“I-it’s over... the fight is over.”
“I don’t understand. Is that not wonderful news?”
“N- I mean, yes, don’t you know what that means, Dokucha?
“That the fight is over?”
“It means it won’t be long before we leave,” he sighed, defeated
“Oh,” she muttered
“I won’t see you again?” she questioned
Marco frowned, his own heart breaking as he heard the young woman’s heartbroken tone.
“Please come with me!” he pleaded, grasping her hands.
“Come.... with you?”
“You can have the adventure you wanted. You can see the Moby Dick and travel in it.”
“But what about my village?”
“Is there anything left for you here?” that silenced her; she knew that although he was right, despite her loving the village and its people and vice-versa, there was nothing more to gain if she were to stay here.
“Will your Captain be okay with this?”
“I won’t let him say no.”
She shook her head, letting out a disbelieving laugh.
“You didn’t think this through.”
“W-well, I have a beginning and end. I’m still figuring the in-between”
“You’re a dork”
“Is that a yes?”
She smiled, leaning in a quick, chaste kiss on the Phoenix’s cheek.
“Let’s go.” She grinned, opening her wings and promptly taking to the sky.
Marco looked entranced at the girl touching his cheek as he tried to take in what had just occurred.
“Are you going to stay down there?” She hollered
“Oh... so that’s what it is. I’m in love,” He spoke, a smile growing on his face as he heard her call out to him again.
“I’m coming”
What we thinking?

Chrysler Building, New York
The client’s voice cut through the room like a blade. “I hired your company because I believed you were professionals. You promised to deliver a solution by now, but all I see is a half-baked product with a mile-long list of issues. How can I possibly take your team seriously?”
James Buchanan Barnes, CEO of Barnes Tech Solutions, kept his jaw tight as he leaned forward, attempting to salvage what he could. “We understand your frustration,” he said, casting a quick glance at Y/n, the company’s CTO, sitting beside him. “We’ve hit a few roadblocks, but we’re confident we can resolve this quickly with the right—”
The client held up a hand. “No more excuses, Barnes.” They fixed a hard look on both of them, voice icy. “Three days. That’s all you get. Either you deliver exactly what we need, or we’re done here. No payment, no future business.”
The client didn’t wait for a response, gathering their papers with a look of finality before sweeping out of the conference room, leaving James and Y/n in silence. They sat there for a moment, both stewing in the frustration and tension of the encounter.
“Well,” Y/n muttered, finally breaking the silence, “that went well.”
James shot her a look, a scowl tugging at his features. “Don’t start, Y/n. This is exactly why I said we should’ve focused more on the testing phase.”
She crossed her arms, glaring right back at him. “Focused on testing? You barely gave me enough time to build the initial code, let alone test it properly.”
He huffed, standing up with a tense shrug. “If I didn’t push you, we’d still be stuck in development. But maybe you prefer taking things slow, dragging your feet?”
She pushed back her chair and stood up, her face flushed with irritation. “Dragging my feet? Barnes, if you had any idea how hard I’ve been working on this project…”
“Hard enough to almost lose us a client?” he shot back.
They stared each other down, both brimming with frustration. She was about to retort, but he started to walk away, loosening his tie as he did. She noticed his hand move to the top button of his shirt, undoing it with a casual flick that made her breath catch. The first button opened, a sliver of skin peeking out, and her eyes were drawn to it, lingering a little too long before she snapped herself out of it.
“You coming?” He asked, turning slightly towards her with a slight smirk on his face.
Did he just catch her looking? His smirk was faint, but she could feel his gaze on her, the hint of amusement there that made her blush despite herself. She shook her head and tried to brush the thought away as she followed him out of the room.
In her office, they set up their laptops at her desk, side by side, both working in tense silence as they began reviewing the project’s remaining issues. The air was thick with unresolved friction, each of them trying to avoid any eye contact, but occasionally, James' gaze would drift to her, taking in the focused, determined look on her face.
As they settled into the work, their bickering continued, every small detail an excuse to challenge each other’s opinions.
“If we’d just skipped that last feature in the initial build, we’d be a lot closer to what the client actually wanted,” she huffed, tapping at her laptop with more force than necessary.
James scoffed. “That feature was the whole reason they were excited in the first place.”
Y/n rolled her eyes. “Well, then maybe you should’ve double-checked what they actually wanted instead of chasing every shiny idea they suggested.”
“Oh, so now it’s my fault?” he asked, pulling off his suit jacket in frustration. He tossed it onto the back of a chair, loosening his tie and rolling up his sleeves as he glared down at her. “It’s not like you ever told me we didn’t have the resources to support it.”
But her words stalled, eyes betraying her as they strayed to the way he’d rolled his sleeves past his elbows, exposing the firm, lean muscle of his forearms. She swallowed, her thoughts briefly scattering as her cheeks warmed.
James caught the way she suddenly went quiet, raising a brow at her. “Something wrong?” he asked, his tone a touch smug when he noticed the way her gaze flickered down and back up.
She quickly looked away, feigning indifference as she typed out a few lines of code. “Nothing at all,” she said, voice tight. “Let’s just… finish this thing.”
He smirked but didn’t push, though he was starting to feel a strange shift himself. Watching her in her element, every subtle movement and frustrated sigh, he felt his own irritation beginning to fade.
An hour later, they found themselves slowly starting to agree on things, the edge in their voices softening as they adjusted parts of the project together.
“Actually,” he muttered, leaning over her shoulder, “you might be right about that last module. It would probably run smoother without it.”
She glanced up, her expression a little surprised. “Did James Barnes just agree with me?”
He rolled his eyes, though there was a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Don’t get used to it.”
They shared a small, reluctant smile before diving back into the work, slowly aligning on solutions without the need to argue each point. As the hours went on, the initial hostility between them started to feel like a distant memory.
Later, they hit a breakthrough on a particularly tricky piece of code, and she couldn’t help the triumphant smile that spread across her face. “See? I told you it’d work.”
He chuckled, genuinely impressed as he met her gaze. “Alright, fine. You win this round, CTO.”
She felt her pulse quicken at the warmth in his voice, her defenses slipping further as she returned his gaze. “You’re not too bad yourself, CEO,” she murmured, allowing the rare compliment to pass between them.
With every line of code, every small decision they made together, the tension shifted. What had started as frustration and competitive energy had softened into something unspoken, something that simmered between them with each quiet moment they shared.
Around midnight, James leaned closer, scanning a line of code on her screen. “There’s an extra bracket here,” he murmured, his voice softer than usual. He didn’t move back, his presence just inches away, warm and solid. She could feel his breath against her cheek, and her pulse quickened.
Her voice came out softer than she intended. “I, uh… I see it. Thanks.”
The silence lingered, neither of them pulling back. She glanced up and met his gaze, her heart pounding as she realized just how close they were. For a split second, she thought he might kiss her, and her breath caught, but then he cleared his throat, straightening up as if the moment hadn’t happened.
“Right,” he said, though his voice was slightly rough. “Let’s keep going.”
They worked through the night, every so often stealing glances when the other wasn’t looking. And each time she glanced his way, she’d catch little details she hadn’t noticed before—the way his brow furrowed in concentration, the way his hand absently rubbed the back of his neck when he was frustrated. There was something almost endearing about it.
At one point, James got up to grab them coffee, and when he returned, he held out a mug with a slight, almost shy smile. “Thought you could use this.”
She took it, their fingers brushing for a moment, sending an unexpected warmth up her arm. “Thanks, Barnes. Didn’t think you’d be the coffee-fetching type.”
“Only for you,” he replied, his voice playful, but his eyes held something softer, something that made her heart skip a beat.
She’d always thought of him as brash, a bit arrogant, but there was a quiet intensity to him now, a focus that made her feel a strange pull in her chest. He wasn’t just the CEO who threw orders around; he was actually invested in making things work, pushing just as hard as she was.
She cleared her throat, trying to distract herself. “You know,” she said carefully, glancing at him, “for all the arguing, you’re… you’re actually a pretty good CEO.”
He looked up at her, a hint of surprise in his eyes. “You mean that?”
“Yeah,” she said, feeling a little heat rise to her cheeks. “You know how to get things done. You push people, but… it’s because you actually care about the company.”
A small smile tugged at his lips, softening his usually sharp expression. “Thanks. But honestly, Y/n, if anyone’s pulling this project together, it’s you. You’re the best CTO I’ve ever seen—our tech wouldn’t even be half of what it is without you.”
She felt her heart skip a beat at his words, warmth creeping up her neck. “I… didn’t know you thought that,” she murmured, her gaze dropping for a moment.
He leaned in slightly, his eyes holding hers with a strange intensity. “I mean it,” he said, his voice low. “You’re brilliant, Y/n. Sometimes I wonder what we’d do without you.”
Her breath caught at the way he looked at her, a deep, lingering gaze that was almost… tender. She could feel her pulse quickening, her heart pounding in a way she hadn’t expected. She swallowed, feeling the tension between them shift, morphing into something that felt a lot less like animosity and a lot more like anticipation.
As the hours ticked on and the city lights outside dimmed into early morning, Y/n leaned back in her chair, stretching her tired arms above her head. “Almost there,” she murmured, exhaustion heavy in her voice. “Just a few more adjustments.”
James had loosened another button by now, and her gaze flickered to the open collar of his shirt. It exposed just enough to be distracting—the slight glimpse of toned muscle, his collarbone, the warm skin beneath, the reflection of a gold chain she just noticed that he was wearing. She tried to tear her eyes away, but the sight had her more breathless than she’d care to admit.
He noticed her lingering stare, and a slight smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. “Something on your mind, Y/n?” he asked, his voice lower, more teasing.
She cleared her throat, brushing it off. “Just… making sure you’re still awake,” she mumbled, hoping he couldn’t hear the sudden breathlessness in her voice.
He tilted his head, eyes fixed on her in that intense way that always made her heart skip a beat. “Awake—and noticing a few things myself,” he said quietly, his gaze drifting over her face, then her lips.
The air between them shifted, thickening with an unspoken tension. She could feel his closeness, the warmth radiating from him as he leaned in, just a little. She held her breath, waiting, unsure if he’d actually go through with it.
Then, as if making a decision, he reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face. His fingers lingered by her cheek, his gaze dropping to her mouth as he edged closer. Her pulse raced, her heart pounding louder than any words.
Before she could second-guess the moment, his lips met hers, warm and unexpectedly soft, his hand cupping her cheek as he drew her in. It was gentle at first, tentative, as though he was testing the waters—but the moment she leaned into him, his kiss deepened, sending a shiver down her spine.
She felt her heart catch in her chest, and she knew that whatever this was between them, it was something she couldn’t ignore any longer.
When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against hers, his eyes searching hers with a soft, almost shy smile. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he murmured, a hint of vulnerability in his voice.
She laughed softly, a little breathless, her hands still resting on his shoulders. “Guess we’ve both been hiding things, then.”
He smiled, his fingers tracing along her jaw. “Maybe we’re better off working together than fighting, after all.”
She smirked, playfully nudging him. “Don’t think this means I’m going easy on you in the next project, Barnes.”
He chuckled, wrapping an arm around her waist. “Wouldn’t expect anything less, Y/n.” And with that, he leaned in and kissed her again, as the night slowly turned to dawn, the rivalry between them finally fading into something infinitely sweeter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The club's music thumped steadily in the background, creating a heavy rhythm that seemed to sync with Y/N's racing heartbeat. Neon lights flashed in sync with the beat, casting alternating shadows and bursts of color across the dance floor. Feeling the need to escape the intensity of her thoughts, Y/N made her way to the center of the crowd and began to dance. Her movements were fluid, confident, and for a moment, she allowed herself to get lost in the music, the energy of the club enveloping her.
From his vantage point, Harry watched her with a mixture of surprise and admiration. He had never seen this side of her before, and it intrigued him. As she moved, completely absorbed in the rhythm, Harry felt an irresistible pull. He made his way through the throng of people, closing the distance between them.
“You’re full of surprises tonight,” Harry murmured as he leaned in closer, his breath brushing against her ear.
Y/N smirked, not giving him the satisfaction of a straightforward answer. “You don’t know half of it,” she replied, her eyes glittering with challenge.
Harry raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “Care to enlighten me?”
Y/N laughed softly, shaking her head. “And give you more ammunition? I don’t think so, Styles.”
He leaned in even closer, their faces just inches apart. “I don’t need ammunition, Y/N. I know what makes you tick.”
She felt a shiver run down her spine, a mix of annoyance and undeniable attraction. “Nice try,” she said, her voice steady despite the proximity. “But you’ll have to work harder than that.”
Harry’s lips curved into a sly smile. “I like a challenge.”
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her lips. “You’ve got your work cut out for you then.”
He chuckled, the sound low and intimate in her ear. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
They sipped their drinks, the moment stretching between them, charged with a tension that was as much about attraction as it was about rivalry. Y/N could feel the heat of Harry’s gaze on her, a weight that was hard to ignore.
“So, tell me,” she said, turning the tables. “What’s it like being the big bad boss now? Enjoying the power trip?”
Harry’s smile didn’t falter, but his eyes darkened slightly. “It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Too many people to keep in line, too many responsibilities.”
Y/N arched an eyebrow, leaning closer to him. “Having second thoughts?”
He shook his head. “Not a chance. Just stating the facts.”
Y/N leaned even closer, her breath warm against his ear. “Admit it, Styles. You love the control.”
Harry’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “Oh. You have no idea” he smirked. “I bet you enjoy it too”
She laughed, the sound almost lost in the thumping music. “Oh, I don’t need power to make an impression. I can do that just fine without it.”
Harry’s smile widened, a hint of admiration in his gaze. “I don’t doubt that for a second.”
Y/N tilted her head, her eyes locked on his. “How are you keeping everyone in line?”
Harry shrugged, his expression nonchalant. “I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve.”
“Care to share any of those tricks?” she teased, her fingers lightly brushing against his arm.
He chuckled, the sound low and intimate. “why would I give away my secrets to the enemy?”
“Maybe because the enemy is more fun than you expected,” she shot back, her eyes dancing with mischief.
Harry’s gaze softened, the intensity between them growing. “Then I’d rather show you and tell you”.
Harry grabbed Y/N’s hand. The touch sent a jolt of electricity through her, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she followed him as he navigated through the dense crowd, leading her toward the back of the club where the bathrooms were located.
The music grew slightly muffled as they moved away from the main floor. Harry glanced over his shoulder at her, his expression unreadable, but his grip on her hand was firm and urgent. They reached the bathroom, and without hesitation, he pushed the door open and dragged her inside.
The fluorescent lights flickered slightly, casting an unflattering glow over the white tiles. The hum of the club was still audible but muted, providing a strange, almost surreal backdrop. Before Y/N could react, he pushed her into one of the stalls and followed, locking the door behind them. The cramped space forced them into close proximity, their breaths mingling in the confined air.
“What the hell, Harry?” she demanded, trying to keep her voice steady despite the rapid beating of her heart...

Smut Idea: 03 Leo and S/O doing sexy role play of enemy to lovers
Karai’s Student (Angst?/Fluff?) (Suggestive)
2003!Leonardo x foot!reader
A/N: This may not have been what you were looking for, but your request suddenly gave this idea and I just had to run with it. It follows the enemy to lovers trope, with the reader being a part of the Foot. This one is not very smutty, but I’ve made it a bit suggestive. Hope you’ll like it anyway tho💙
Warnings: Suggestive themes, talk of hurting each other, not prof read.
You couldn’t stand him. The mutant turtle leader in blue with his overblown ego, his constant need to show off, even in the middle of a battle, and his never stopping preach of “peace”, “patience” and “guidance”. Not even two minutes after you first met him and his brothers, you were at his throat with your blade, ready to make him shut up. But damned be Leonardo and his actually impressive ninja skills. Sure, Karai had told you about his skills, praising him and his abilities with his swords, even though he was a mortal enemy of her and her father. You had even once heard Shredder mutter something along the lines of Splinter having taught his son well. But as you stood face to face with Leonardo for the first time, you didn’t find yourself as impressed as you found yourself annoyed, even angry. And that anger and distaste for the leader in blue only grew further, as your first encounter ended with him throwing you off the roof, sending you crashing into a dumpster filled with trash below.
Your anger was noticeable after that first encounter. Karai noticed how easily she could get your blood boiling during training, just by reminding you of the mutant turtle. And she used that to the fullest, watching from the sidelines as her first student got riled up, letting out a roar as she cut off the head of her training dummy, letting it fall to the floor with a thud.
The second time you and Leonardo crossed paths, you fully intended to try to get rid of him. You had not expected to run into him on your minor mission on your own in an abandoned building, but here he was, the sight of his face making you grit your teeth.
The two of you found yourselves locked in a fight, your swords clashing together. But while you did everything you could, trying to get a slash or a stab through Leonardo’s protections, he deflected your attempts, once again talking to you like he was an old master of sorts.
“You’re angry, (Y/N)”, he said, calm as ever, almost sympathetic, deflecting every swing of your sword. “This is not how to get your anger out. There’s other ways”.
“Will you shut up?!”, you yelled, feeling your emotions boiling over, your anger turning into desperation. You wanted him gone, and the increasingly erratic movements of your arms made that clear. “Shut up! Shut the fuck up!”
Your anger left you blind. It left you open for attacks. And much to your dismay, Leo noticed that, and took the first opportunity you presented for him. You were shocked at how quickly he managed to unarm you, sending your sword slided across the floor and far away from you. You tried punching out after his face, only for Leo to grab a hold of your hand and twisting it behind your back. You screamed, slowly sinking to your knees, trying to fight the pain in your arm.
“I don’t want to keep fighting you”, he said, his calm voice making you want to kick him where the sun doesn’t shine.
“Bullshit!”, you yelled, doing a sudden turn so that you could hit Leo with your other fist. However Leo grabbed this with ease, pushing you down flat on your stomach with your hands behind your back. You struggled over him, proving enough of a challenge for him to press his body weight onto you in order to keep you in place.
“Let me go!”, you yelled.
“Are you going to try to punch me if I do?”, Leo asked, a small annoyance dripping from his voice.
“I will stab you!”, you yelled, struggling against his grip once more. And for a moment, just a moment, you managed to get one of your hands free from Leo’s grip. This caused another struggle between the two of you, in which you managed to push yourself up just a little from the floor with your free hand. However, Leo was quick to get a hold of your hand once more, pushing himself flat against you in order to keep you still, knocking all air out of you as you hit the floor.
With the side of your face laying flat against the cold floor, you found yourself burning with anger from the inside. You tried your best to ignore the feeling of Leo’s hard plastron against your back, and the sound of his breathing just behind your ear, or how big his arm and hand looked compared to yours, as it kept yours locked to the floor.
“You done?”, Leo asked, his voice low by your ear. You mentally cursed yourself for the shivers that went down your spine.
“No”, you sneered, keeping your face as far away from his as possible. “As soon as you get off me, I’ll gut you!”
“Then I’ll guess we’ll have to stay here until you are done”, Leo said. And at that moment you wanted to day. You almost asked him to bring out his katana and just get it over with. But no, instead you stayed like that for hours, until you finally found yourself getting tired of your lack of food and limited blood circulation, causing you to ever so slowly fall asleep. And when you woke up a few hours later, Leo was gone. And so was your sword…
The time after you and Leonardo’s second meeting, you found yourself more angry than ever before. You no longer just decapitated your training dummies, but now you tumbled them over, beating them with whatever weapon you were practicing with, until the fabric of the dummy was frayed and the filling was out everywhere. Even Karai was taken aback the first time it happened, but then she did what she always did - she encouraged it. She even went so far as to add a blue strap of fabric to the dummies, as to imitate a bandana.
As days turned into nights, Leo still wouldn’t leave your head. No matter how often you beat the shit out of those dummies during training, it was like you couldn’t get rid of this ever growing feeling of anger and resent. All you could think of was the feeling of his body being pressed against yours, the sound and feeling of his breath against your ear, and his strong arms and big hands holding you still. And with each thought of him passing through your head, you wanted to punch holes in the walls.
But then, one night, you found your world turned upside down. In the early mornings you found yourself waking up, gasping for air and sweat dripping from your body, as if you had had a horrible nightmare. But the wet feeling between your legs let you know that it had been far from a nightmare. You had been dreaming about you and Leo in that abandoned building. Your body pinned underneath his, his lips on your neck, his hands slowly creeping up the front of your shirt, and his hips grinding against your ass. And to your horror, you had liked it. You had asked him to keep going, even moaning when nibbled at your ear. However, you woke up in shock when he turned you over, the last thing you remember being him diving down over you, just about to capture your lips with his. And from that day on, your anger towards Leonardo took a different form, as those kinds of dreams started to come more and more often…
The third time you meet Leonardo, you were less than prepared for what was going to happen. It was during another of the minor lone missions Karai had sent you out on. As you sneaked around the roofs of New York City, with your black mask covering the lower half of your face, you were surprised by a sudden voice behind you, catching you off guard.
“(Y/N)? Long time, no see”, Leo said. And for a moment you thought you heard friendliness in his voice. But instead of greeting him, you turned, throwing a ninja star his way. But Leo, being as fast as he was, quickly jumped out of the way. “Well, I’m happy to see you too”.
“Give me my sword back, asshole!” you yelled, charging towards him, your hands raised. You punched your fist out at him, aiming for his face. But once again, Leo dodged with ease.
“I’m sorry, (Y/N), but I can’t do that when you’re actively trying to hurt me”.
“You stole it!”
“No, I took it, hoping it would help you calm down. But it clearly hasn’t helped much”, Leo said, slowly circling around you, ducking every once in a while when your knuckles came flying towards him.
“I’ll give you calm!”, you yelled, charging forward once again. Your closed fist just passing by Leo’s head. Leo however did not seem the least bit bothered. Instead he grabbed a hold of your arm, before using his foot to pull one leg out underneath you, using his hold on your arm to push you backwards. You felt yourself fall to the roof in slow motion. But this time you refused to fall without bringing Leo down with you. Within the last second of opportunity, you grabbed a hold of the tails of Leo’s blue banda, yanking him down with you as you fell. Leo stumbled forward, and as you both fell to the roof, you soon came to realize the depth of your mistake.
Leo braced himself just before he crashed upon you, hovering just above your face, his strong arms on either side of your face. You felt a pit grow in your stomach, your eyes wide open, staring at Leo’s face just before you, feeling his breath against the fabric of your mask. His eyes were just as wide as yours, staring directly into your soul. For a moment you wondered if you were back in one of your trick full dreams, that tried to make you believe that you wanted this to happen. You mentally cursed your body for reacting to feeling Leo so closely against you, the pit in your stomach starting to tingle. But then Leo did something that made you shiver all over.
With a slow and soft hand, he tugged lightly at your mask, pulling it down past your face and letting it rest around your neck. Suddenly nervousness started growing within you, causing you to lick your drying lips. Leo noticed this, his eyes flickering to your lips for a moment before returning to your eyes once more.
You weren’t sure who moved first, but ever so slowly your faces started moving closer. Your heart was pounding with excitement, but your brain was screaming at you, telling you that you were about to commit a giant mistake. You felt Leo’s fingers find your face, his fingertips gracing your cheek, as if checking if it was okay to touch you. You could feel the warmth of Leo’s lips radiating onto yours, knowing that they were mere millimeters from yours. Your heart was earning for you to close the short distance, but your head was ringing every single alarm bell. It was like two sides of you were fighting to get control over you. And in the end, one side won.
With a quick hand, you grabbed for one of Leo’s katanas mounted on his back, pulling it out just far enough for its shiny blade to rest just by Leo’s shoulder. Leo froze above, his lips still just above yours. With a quick side glance, Leo could see his own eyes in the reflection of his katana looking back at him. He slowly looked back at you, a small smile making its way onto his features.
“And you called me an asshole?”, he chuckled.
“I want my sword back”, you said, tightening your grip on the blue handle of the katana, reminding Leo of the situation he was in.
“So now you’re trying to take mine?” He was teasing you. Here he was, just hovering above you, his own blade almost pressing up against his skin, and he was teasing you? A shiver ran through you, aiming directly for your core. You tried your best to maintain the expression on your face, but a small twitch in the side of your mouth let Leo know that you were struggling.
“(Y/N)”, Leo said, his expression a little more serious this time. “I meant it when I said I don’t want to fight you. I have no reason to fight you”. You started biting the inside of your cheek, your eyes drifting from his to the handle in your hand. “I promise you-”.
“I will let you go”, you said, interrupting and taking the mutant turtle aback, your eyes almost burning holes in his. “If you promise to bring back my sword. My sword and one last fight”.
“I already said I don’t want to-”.
“One last fight”, you said sternly, pulling at the katana. “If you win, I might think of what you told me the first time we met”, you continued, hinting at the long speech Leo held for you just before your first fight.
“And if you win?”, Leo asked.
You answered by giving the blade a light shake. “You won’t have to worry about that”.
Leo looked at you for a moment, taking a moment to think about your offer, before finally nodding. “Deal”.
Maintaining an emotionless expression, you let Leo’s katana slide back onto his shell, bringing your face close to his once again. “Next time I see you”.
“Deal”, Leo said once more, understanding what you meant. Standing back up when you let go of his katana. Standing up straight, he looked down at you, a small smile breaking through once more. “See you around, (Y/N)”.
And with those words, he was gone, jumping back over the roofs in whatever direction he came from. You however, stayed on the roof for a moment, taking a moment to calm your frayed nerves, thinking about how you and Leo’s next encounter might play out.
