@lil-zlatko Just thinking about the fact that Viktor's bad knee probably flared up at times during or after physically demanding jobs Mordecai and he went on. That Mordecai was probably concerned when it did but expresses it through fussing and nagging as usual

That when Mordecai kneecapped Viktor he must have knowingly aimed for the "good knee" because he knew doing that was the most effective way to force him to retire and get him out of danger or the worst case scenario of Marigold ordering Mordecai to take him out. Something he would probably not be able to do and would blow his cover immediately

Wondering if the "breakup" was an angry loud shouting match like most of their arguements building up to the shot or if it was Mordecai calmly and logically explaining to Viktor why it was in his best interest to retire but the stubborn Golem simply not listening as usual and so he has to fall back on "plan B"

The strange mix of selfishness and selflessness in the decision. Selfish because it was done to avoid Mordecai's heartbreak (platonic or otherwise depending on how you interpret Mordecai "repressed" Heller's feelings for the big guy) in the future because he can't see the only person he cares about in St Louis other than Atlas die as well.

Selfless because he knows Viktor will likely hate him forever for it and its clearly the mindset of "He will hate me and I will probably never see him again but you know what at least he will still be alive and I am willing to live with that ( he thinks). I want him to be safe even if it leaves me alone and unhappy

The man is horrified that VIktor is not only still working at Lackadaisy but got shot during the pig farmers raid which makes it all for NOTHING

But he has to keep all that hidden (literally hiding his face) because Asa "dickhead" Sweet is sitting right next to him and he can't let him catch on

Hinata Hyuga HC & her relationship with Hanabi

So this is a HC I've been wanting to write for a while but I'm not entirely sure how it will be received so I've been putting it off. But I hope you read the whole thing as I try to scramble down my thoughts.

Hinata has a lot of unresolved misplaced resentment towards Hanabi. As much as she loves her and as much as she will do anything to protect her, there is still resentment. It is misplaced - she is aware of that - but she can't help but sometimes feel resentful of how her sister is and has been treated in comparison to herself. A lot of it is anger placed towards their clan and her father - but it's also hard not to be bitter towards Hanabi as well

A lot of this resentment stems from their blatant favoritism toward Hanabi due to the fact she was born with natural talent while Hinata has always had to work for it. In fact, Hanabi is praised and allowed to still act childish which was never allowed with her. Hanabi gets praised - Hinata gets scolded and cursed. Hinata worked her ass off even in her free time to be the heir and successor her clan always wanted. But because Hanabi showed more natural improvement and talent it completely undermined all her effort and hard work. Not to mention all the political knowledge she needed to know to navigate the village politics.

Hinata literally developed her own ninjutsu just to try and keep up with her clan and their demands when she was struggling. Yes - she knows Hanabi went through the same grueling training she had to when she became the new heir - but I doubt they were ever as verbally harsh as they were to Hinata. Not to mention with her loss of standing in her clan their behavior towards her noticeably shifted.

Hinata genuinely wanted to be the next leader of her clan. She wanted to do right by her clan and her father's expectations. What she wasn't willing to do was gain that by BEATING UP HER SEVEN-YEAR-OLD SISTER. A clan is not led by violence and strength alone - but also by kindness and being able to make the right choices. Because she wasn't willing to strike down her own sister she ended up losing so much more than just her position. She lost a lot of respect.

A lot of people think Hinata isn't capable of having negative thoughts or misguided ones. She's human. She's going to have thoughts and emotions that are misplaced and misguided. She is also well aware that it's not Hanabi's fault. Yet she still can't help but feel a bit resentful ( it gets better when Hinata is standing on her own two feet and is no longer tied to her clan name ). The point is she doesn't act on them. She loves her sister more than she is bitter towards her. She chooses kindness and love over her own negative emotions. That's what makes her kind and that's what also makes her a good older sister as well.

She's resentful because it feels like everything she had to fight, struggle, and lose sleep over just to endure was handed over in favor of natural talent. Hinata learned all her strength through resilience, self-discipline, and repeatedly getting back up even when she wanted to give up. She fought so hard just to earn her father's praise and approval and it all amounted to nothing till after the final war. She's bitter, yes, but would never take it out on Hanabi intentionally.

dead amazed how not mad neve is at you when you nuke minrathous. it doesn’t cut your romance possibility, she actually just sounds and looks incredibly sad, her eye bags are so deep i thought she was blighted bro. but she’s not even actually angry? she flat-out defends you against the idea that you meant any malice by choosing to salvage treviso. when tarquin is justifiably blaming you, neve breaks it up and reels it back in. she makes her boundaries clear and she’s very transparent about them; she tells you when she needs space. if you welcome her back enthusiastically she approves! yall would never survive doc bloom.
