It’s really sweet but the more I thought about it I realized that, maybe, their first instinct to look after a baby creature was a subconscious thing from gilded!trog’s memories. After the flashbacks, one of their worries was their cactus children being all alone :[ So they’re taking care of who they can, it’s in their code. Sobs.

A behind the scenes speculation: I think Trog was controlling two accounts during the cathedral scene, only Trog or Tube moved at a time. I’m excited for how their pov will look like!

And Marm was so distraught over the void not giving her answers. She was so used to relying on it and appeasing it, on the void being the greater power that she momentarily forgot another power within herself- or just didn’t consider it on account of “giving up”……wait a minute

Ok so Avid’s finale title was ‘destroying’ the sbk world, it was very obvious he blamed himself for the domino effect of: showing Milkman the sand duper —> apocalypse. Marm’s was ‘saving’ the world, and she truly did everything she could, but could only save a few pets and closest friend: ‘her world’, in a sense. She saved Avid from superhell, then again from the falling sky he sorta doomed everyone to. As far as I can tell, Marm is the greater power

Not in the technical sense, like Trog with their void spells and godhood. Not in the terrifyingly powerful way like Olm. But (and this is reminding me of undertale) in her persistence and determination to make it through. In her hope. Stubbornness. Where there’s a will, there’s a way

Today's Demon's Souls playing

I played a bit more Demon's Souls today! At this point I am unable to play it without @val-of-the-north watching me stream it fdhfhsd Having someone see me play is like an addiction

1) Got back to the mines place where I killed the Firelurker last time because according to Val there was another boss! Didn't expect it to appear literally in the next room tho XD It was Dragon God! There was also a sword that apparently was supposed to be used for this battle but I didn't have Str requirement to use it (Fromsoft moment💀) so I was barely reducing its health with the spear at the final stage of its battle fsdhfdhsdf

2) Val also earlier explained to me what demons in this setting exactly are and how they come to exist, it is so cool! Apparently, Dragon God appeared because of the legends local people created around giant bones found in there?? This is so cool! I love how there are both concrete rules while also a huge freedom to what demons can be!

3) As soon as I saw the message that I've killed an Archdemon though, my instant monkey brain response was to go back to Boletaria Palace and cross the fog gate after Iron Knight XD LMAAAO at that one Fat Official doing the reverential bow thing fjhhsdhs

Discovered that you can climb over certain places and jump down, as well as climb up too? This is strange

4) I died several times at this area tho -_- I insisted on clearing the level, though Val kept telling me over and over to drop it for later. Got cornerguy'd, got burnt by stepping on a dumb burning rock (no offence, it was ALSO burning my enemies when used right lol), fell into water, and also THE FUCKING STUPID. FUCKING GODDAMN STUPID ARCHER GUY. WOULD NOT FUCKING EVER STOP SHOOTING AT ME, THROUGH. THE FUCKING. WALL. Eventually Val told me that I can't clear this area because I literally fight Allant in the 1-4 (idk what this Mario ass levels terminology is sdfjdsfjh) so I scolded him for "not having told me sooner" and left lol.

5) Went into Latria instead! And this was going to be it for the rest of the evening.

6) Why are you me, I am me???

No, seriously, I started as Magician (always use magic because skill issue lol) and haven't changed my catalyst or clothing since the beginning! It jumpscared me to find my own people set here xD

Val explained to me that this is the prison for magicians because Soul Arts was what brought the First Scourge or whatever, but that by now the purpose was changed. Though we speculated how it could work to have different tutorial areas depending on the starter class, and how funny it would be if starting as Magician would make your tutorial area this prison instead xd (Not my actual suggestion ofc, it would be too much of a typical videogame, and From isn't like that!)

7) Something DID make me sad tho:

So at some points I started freeing these guys, and they were following me, which was fun...... until it wasn't.

Like, I actually felt bad about non-hostile ones ;-; How hard it was to just make them like, run towards the exit upon being freed and despawn?? I literally had to kill them to be able to move normally, especially when they started to pile up, nothing personal 💀💀💀 Honestly, Miyazaki knew exactly what he was doing. He wanted us to feel bad about killing the guys who did nothing wrong and just were confused and happy to be freed. Bruh this guy was always the same. 💀💀💀

8) Met this woman:

A funny #videogamemoment btw: you see her sleeves? They look pretty narrow and closed, right? WRONG:

When I caught her singing, turned out that her sleeves were fucking LONG as fuck XD The clipping of the texture is so bad that when she puts her hands together, the long sleeves clip through the skirt and become invisible hfhfhdsd Why this is so funny

9) Remember how I said that I felt uncomfortable if not guilty for killing the prisoner guys? By this point I ended up instead going out of my way TO kill them even if they were literally just standing there in their cells and doing nothing sdjfhdhsd Val was so confused as to why I'd keep doing it compulsively even if they don't drop more than literally 3 Souls hdfsdhd Guess I came around lmao XD

10) So, I've picked this set.....

...and Val revealed to me that it IS the John Demonsouls' set, but it looks different for female character. :> ...really. Fucking REALLY. Are you SHITTING me. DUDE. You DO NOT fucking make the SET OF JOHN SOULSBORNE LOOK DIFFERENT BASED ON GENDER.

11) Met one of the bootleg Brainsuckers guys in the narrow corridor where I could not just spam magic at him and panicked, saying that there was no way I could kill him because his magic went THROUGH shield, nor there was anywhere to hide :s While still being mad at how it was "impossible", I just somehow automatically adapted to rolling and hitting with melee weapon fast enough. k

12) Got to see the stained glass that is not in the cutscene that I've already seen though videos:

Certain lighting from what I've seen so far made me question if this hair was dark blond or whatever, but nope! This is a very brown hair if I've seen one! That makes me think of something from earlier (for another post)

14) Finally got to meet and freed this guy:

15) I got to fight Fool's Idol, it was a super easy first try! I could fucking figure by myself that magic would not work, and instead decided to opt out for the bow! I was just sniping her while hiding behind the columns all the time, so it was easy to not get damage and quickly figure out which one was the real! Val was mad at me because he didn't expect the bow strategy to work so well XD

WHY THESE GUYS TAKE ME IN ANOR LONDO AFTER THIS BATTLE THO WHAT IS GOING ON LMAO

16) Okay so after this I decided to go back to Nexus and call it a day. What can I say... Latria's level design was not bad at all. @fantomette22 made it sound to me like it was absolute hell but it honestly was fun? I only barely got annoyed by the maze layout towards the end when I died to that guy in open space and forgor how to get back to him, and only because I wanted to sleep

17) Funny thing: later on I jumped down from the staircase in this spot, and happened to land JUST on Freke!

It almost aggroed him lol xD It is funny because I literally knew he was there, but still made this mistake lol

Also, his apprentice is such a fucking simp lmao fdjhhsdsdf It would be very nice if I could mass-screenshot somehow because his dialogue about Freke is SOOOOO defensive, I found it funny fdhhds

Writer game!

What recurring themes/topics in your writing do you have?

TW: Talk of Abuse and Trauma

Also: beware of spoilers if you haven't yet read Living with The Devil You Know and want to.

I think in general there’s a big theme of trauma and abusive and toxic behavior in my writing. This is also why I prefer writing Dark!Raphael. It’s almost hard not to include those subjects with him, which might be why I’m enjoying writing him so much. I’ve directed plays in the past, and for some reason the major theme in those plays have always ended up being trauma.

It’s an interesting concept to explore I think, and perhaps also, on a more personal note, because I find it therapeutic to explore it through art. Also, before I keep yapping, I also just want to say that there is no wrong way to experience trauma, and that the things I write about are mainly from my own perspective and things I have learned about myself through dealing with my past and by talking to others with similar experiences (Nothing to worry about at all btw, I am better than I have ever been. Therapy is a godsend).

I try to make it as realistic as I can. Such as small things and reactions from my characters that I don’t blatantly point out is due to trauma, but it makes sense in that context.

My best example is Tav in ‘Living with The Devil You Know’ (Spoilers). She’s grown up with a cruel father who beat her, and it’s hinted at that he also verbally abused her. Her trauma presents itself both mentally and physically in the form of the burn scars on her face that she had chosen to hide for years.

Ironically, it’s Raphael who reveals them, even though he is the same kind of man as her father was. She shows it to him without knowing if he accepts her for it or he simply does it to ‘pour salt in the wound’, so to speak. Tav also learns that just ignoring her scars of the past, metaphorically and literally, does not mean that they have gone away.

On the other hand, she also continues the cycle of abuse in a way. She’s cold, selfish and overly practical at times towards other people, because that is how she has learned to survive. She begins to see herself as evil instead of trying to understand where it is all coming from, which I think unfortunately is very realistic for many survivors of abuse. It’s much easier to simply demonize oneself than to start dealing with the past and explore where those survival mechanisms are coming from.

I also think their relationship is depressingly representative of a lot of abusive and toxic relationships. I think that very few people figure out immediately that ‘Oh shit. My partner is cruel and abusive towards me, and they are actually not a good person’. It’s more ‘Oh they did manipulate me that one time, and they did do that other horrible thing too, but other times they are really nice and loving! They’re human too and makes mistakes!”.

Tav rationalizes the shit out of everything that man does A LOT. I love writing characters like that. With Tav specifically, her tragic flaw is that she has been abused in the past. She knows how it works. She is aware of what’s going on. And still: a part of her thinks she deserves it, because she sees herself as ‘evil’ too.

(Spoilerspoilerspoiler if you haven’t read the latest chapter. Though it is pretty obvious that it would happen eventually) Even after she is freed, as she has longed for, she goes right back to him, though she knows exactly what kind of person he is. Because the depressing truth about a lot of untreated trauma is that abuse and evil starts feeling safer and more like home, than a functional relationship ever could, because such a relationship is unknown.

I find Raphael interesting for many reasons, but the themes of abuse and toxicity are so interesting for me to work with when it comes to him, because it just makes sense. An abusive relationship with an abusive person on paper sounds horrible and one might not understand how those things even happen. Like why would a person ever “”accept”” being abused?

But then you see someone like Raphael, who we all know is an evil little shit, and we still love him. We still want to be with him, and we are still attracted to him. He has his redeeming qualities and it’s very possible that he has been through some shit himself, sure, but that’s the point: such is the case with most abusers. They don’t appear as monsters or devils (though Raphael quite literally does), they appear as nuanced human beings. Doesn’t make them less abusive or dangerous though.

I like writing about conflicted people who does things against their best interests, because they have been somehow wired or indirectly forced to do so. I like making my characters take decisions that are objectively ‘stupid’, but still make myself (and the reader, hopefully) think about if I really would have done much differently given the same circumstances?

Finally after being stumped on a name for so long, the LeshyCat children concept is here, first, of course, some info on the parents :)

(Btw im not a native english speaker)

If you have any questions about them or my other headcanons feel free to ask too!

How they met: Due to his injuries making it extremely difficult for him to adjust to his new life in the cult (let alone how he would now have to learn how to live with a mortal body again) on his own, the Yellow Cat (who i will be referring to as "Amare" from now on) was assigned as his caretaker to help him deal with the necessities that came with being a mortal again (sleep, water, physical activities and so on) on top of the problems that came with his injury. While Leshy at first felt insulted by this treatment (the whole "i was a god i can do this without the help of some mortal yada yada" thing), he soon realized it was for the better (while also realizing his feelings for Amare :3).

Leshy: Freed from Purgatory in the cult around 100-ish years after his death and 15 years after Narinder was overthrown by The Lamb. All his high priests and his witness (Amdusias, Valefar, Barbatos and Agares) had passed away before his arrival, making the former and current gods of death the only "familiar" figures in the cult (they both changed so much after their last encounters), although he still avoided both of them most of the time (Narinder because of his conflicting thoughts about the older brother, and The Lamb somewhat out of anger at them but mostly fear due to how traumatic Purgatory was for him), but dont worry they eventually made amends along with the rest of the bishops :). Also became friends with bat follower but she isnt relevant for this post

Amare (the Yellow Cat): Rescued from being sacrificed to the dead bishop of chaos in Darkwood after followers of the Old Faith killed everyone else from his village, works as a farmer in the cult. He was the only follower (aside from the first five followers of the cult, who are kept alive and act as advisors and friends for The Lamb) that knew of Leshy's past as an bishop, and though he still held resentment for the former god, The Lamb's seeming disposition to forgive him made the cat consider doing the same for him, volunteering to be his caretaker. Once their relationship was made official, he was given a golden skull necklace to ensure the two could stay by each other's side for eternity.

Now for the children hehe

They are twins (as ive mentioned in my other posts), a daughter named Camellia (Amare chose the name) and a son named (drumroll please im so proud of this name) Havoc! (Name chosen by Leshy of course).

They both have green moss-like fur from Leshy, and the head shape of a cat from Amare, but other than that their bodies are very distinct due to inheriting different parts from their parents

Havoc: His limbs and tail, as well as his longer whiskers, are from Amare, giving him a silhouette very similar to a cat, aside from the antler-like branches he got from Leshy, he also has two sets of eyes like Leshy used to have once, ironically though, he has rather poor eyesight, needing glasses to see things that are a bit too far. Despite his name he is actually pretty calm and enjoys the peacefulness of the cult, though this doesnt mean he is opposed to some occasional mischief, specially with his sister. Wants to help with teaching when he becomes of age (also im thinking about the idea of having him figure himself out as transfem but thats for another time)

Camellia: her limbs and tail, being from Leshy, are quite a bit longer and thicker than her brother's, giving her a broader and taller silhouette, as well as making her quite a bit stronger physically, she also has only one set of eyes and shorter whiskers than her brother, as well as no branch antlers. Is a very active person, playing with other kids and sometimes helping adults with tasks that wouldnt risk injuring her (most of the time they dont let her though). Also loves doing pranks and other forms of tomfoolery around the cult along with her brother. She is also very protective of him, getting into multiple fights with kids (and a drunk adult one time) who pick on him (aka bullies). Wants to follow her parent's job of farming when she comes of age.

What are some of your Ashuela headcanons?

Oh I’m glad you asked!

So my interpretation of their relationship depends on which AU they’re in but my headcanons for them as a relationship are largely the same in that they’re very protective of one another and they’re both disabled and thus lean on each other for support when needed.

In the AU I have where they’re college roommates after Manuela is released from her imprisonment and Ashley was returned from her kidnapping they’re at first kind of awkward around each other, Ashley is wary to trust people anymore and Manuela isn’t used to having friends and is trying to prove that she can control her powers so they’re both very awkward people around each other. Eventually Ashley realizes she has a crush on Manuela and it really scares her so she doesn’t say anything until Manuela finally kisses her first and then they start dating.

In the AU where Manuela is always locked up and can only be let out when she’s fighting B.O.W.s, Ashley learns about her after being returned from Spain and decides she wants to do anything she can to let Manuela be freed, and so becomes a field agent along with her. Ashley is also the person who visits Manuela most often and sometimes will even stay overnight in her cell with her so she isn’t alone. They’re both SUPER protective of each other when they’re in the field to the point where they’ll put their own lives in danger if it means protecting the other. That one meme about two people trying to jump in front of a gun for each other etc.

In my Redfield Report AU (which I would really like to continue one day) it’s kind of a mix of both, Manuela gets released into the custody of Krauser thanks to Claire (bc in this AU Krauser didn’t go nuts and also I just generally like Krauser’s canonical care for Manuela in Darkside Chronicles) and starts attending university with Ashley, then after that she wants to become a field agent and Ashley, the ever supportive girlfriend, decides to join her (I CAME UP WITH THIS BEFORE RE4MAKE BTW ASHLEY ISN’T PATRIOTIC SHE JUST WANTS TO BE THERE FOR HER PARTNER AND MANUELA ISN’T ALLOWED TO FIGHT ON BEHALF OF HER COUNTRY IN SOUTH AMERICA BC THE U.S. BASICALLY KIDNAPS HER INTO BECOMING A U.S. CITIZEN SO. America sucks in this series lmao) and they even get sent to assist in China during the events of RE6. I have a lot of plans for this AU lol

Back to general headcanons though, they’re the typical “fell first/fell harder” dynamic where Manuela realizes first that she likes Ashley but doesn’t really express it much out of fear of pushing her away while Ashley realizes she likes Manuela all of a sudden and it kind of consumes her and makes her unable to interact with her friend normally and makes her rlly jealous seeing Manuela with boys bc she thinks Manuela can’t POSSIBLY like girls etc. She’s very dramatic

Heya, other me! I'm Quadrinity, aka Agent 4. I prefer to be called by my actual name, by the way.

I'm the last one you got (until Dystopiac's older brother Mechanic comes back from his adventure with Deep Cut, lol).

Before the questions, I'd like to apologize for my lateness, I was trapped in the Memverse for a while. You know about Parallel Canon, right? Well, Marina used my data for her Parallel Canon program, and when I got trapped in there, half my data got turned into a palette and the other half got entangled with P.C.'s data.

My forearms are now permanently made of solid stainless steel from being entangled with Parallel Canon for so long. OtH viewed it as a curse, I view it as an upgrade. Any pain on my forearms is now muffled (I can still feel something, but it's not painful), and I can actually punch a wall so hard it leaves a dent in it. My hair was also stained black for a while after being freed, but it eventually returned to its' natural orange color.

Anyways, onto the questions:

1. I'm the only female agent of the group. Trinity, Dystopiac and Eight are all male. What...are your genders, if you don't mind me asking?

2. Did you ever have an encounter with the Memverse like I did? If so, did you see Parallel Canon? (Those masks are HELLA stuffy, btw.)

3. How's Octo Canyon...wait, was it Octo Valley...? Ah, you know, the area Marie took us to from the manhole when we first became agents. Still head there every so offen?

(Back before the Memverse stuff, I headed there between Turf War matches to cool myself down, it really helped. Recently went back there after a while with Trinity, Dystopiac and Eight, and incredibly, all the stuff I set up there is still there. Set up some new stuff there, too, specifically some stuff from the Memverse, especially my now-cracked-in-half Parallel Canon mask, which I now consider my personal trophy. [Why the hell does the Greater Inkadia area have two entirely different areas with extremely similar names...?])

Don't get cooked and stay off the hook, other me!

I'm also the only cisgender female agent in the NSS, besides Agent 1 and 2, of course. Neo and Meg are demifemale and Captain's a demimale. I guess you can say we're kind of lacking in gender here at the Refreshed NSS.

Ah... the Memverse... how could I forget... the place where I had the most insane power trip someone could ever have...

I got sucked into the Memverse like a year ago during a cod awful time of my life. I got all the way up the tower and met LANCE, somebody who got sucked into the Memverse and was controlling the Memverse from the inside (before you ask, we do have a Order/Smollusk in our world but they were used more like a tool by LANCER instead of wanting to take over the world on its own). He wanted to grayscale me by force but, luckily for him, I wanted that. I wanted to get back at the NSS for leaving me at Octo Canyon when Mr. Grizz was out there, ready to make everyone on Earth undergo severe body horror, by teaming up with a threat to the NSS. So, he grayscaled me and gave me admin abilities in the Memverse and I became the leader of the Parallel Canon. To make a long story short... I really wanted Neo dead back then. A lot of my anger towards the NSS then was directed towards Neo. And that's why she was pulled into the Memverse around the same time Meg, Acht, and OtH got pulled in. I had LANCE pull Neo into the Memverse because I wanted her dead. To make a long story short, Meg and Neo beat my ass when they got to my boss room and Neo dealt the blow that de-grayscaled me. She hasn't forgiven me for that incident, but every day I try to make up for the Memverse incident. Therapy, trying to be an overall better person. I hope they'll forgive me eventually...

I haven't gotten any physical changes from the Memverse, but I still have the outfit I wore in there. I like that dress and mask so much that I sometimes bring it into ink battles. Although, the mask's design doesn't change in the real world. It just keeps that creepy smile design on it. It still lights up though. I even wore it for the indie film I was in because I came in with it one day and the crew liked it so much.

None of us has been to Octo Canyon or Octo Valley in a long time. We don't consider those places areas of interest anymore since all the Octarians that were left there were either A) living on the surface, B) had undergone some sort of body horror, or C) lived there and didn't mean any harm to us anymore. The last time anyone was there was the day I found out about Neo from the news. After some cameras outside of a space station caught the fight with Mr. Grizz on camera, Neo, her little brother, and Octavio were all over the news. There was just no escaping them.

Um yeah. Sorry about the trauma dump, I guess.

I was reading one of his fanfics (THEY ARE SO GOOD BTW) and Gregory mentioned that his father died and that apparently, his mother is always busy. I know you only put this with the power of ✨plot✨ but I was thinking: What do you think happened to Gregory's mother in the middle of the mind control thing? (Sorry if this got a typing problem🥲 English is not my first language)

Okay I did kind of think of it a little bit, just for funsies! I'd like to think that Gregory was glitchtrapped a bit after his father died because he was trying to find some kind of escape from the stress of it all, and wowie! He found out about this new secret game at the pizzaplex and he just had to try it! Little did he know that he'd slowly get more and more addicted to it, because he absolutely had to *reach* the end. Becoming obsessed with this new game seemed to push all of his problems aside and relieved him of his stress, so he just kept going until he was eventually glitchtrapped.

But as for his mother and his home life in general, I'd like to think that he had a pretty nice family. His dad was always really silly and goofy and friendly and his mom was very sweet and kind, especially to Gregory. Which totally startled him out of his domestic bliss after his father died in a car wreck on his way back from work.

Ever since tthen, his mother has been taking double shifts at the hospital (I HC THAT SHES A NURSE) in order to make enough money for them all, she doesnt get home until late at night and rarely gets to talk to Gregory anymore, which would obviously stir a bit of pain inside of someone after losing so much and not having much support from the only support figure that he had left.

He saw glitchtrap as a support figure over time, he seemed..pretty nice, and what he said always sounded legit, so he couldn't be all bad right?

But as Gregory delved into the madness, his mother began to notice his increasingly erratic behavior. The sweet boy that she once knew was now much more violent and aggressive, his mood switching at a rapid pace whenever he talked to her. Over time, they began to argue more and more often.

Because Glitchtrap had been feeding him lies to fuel his slight resentment towards his mother, to make it into something bigger. Telling him that his mother did not care for him anymore, that she was a liar, that she was happy that his dad died.

Now typically one wouldn't just outright believe this, but Gregory had been so sucked into it and trusted this rabbit guy so much that he hadn't realized how insane some of the things he said were.

One night after a really bad argument, Gregory goes to apologize to his mother, as sweet as can be. And of course, that's her baby boy right there so she instantly forgives him. He offers to make her something to eat to make up for it, and she lets him, because she'd just gotten home from an all nighter and she was really tired of having fast food.

Glitchtrap had convinced him to get his mother out of the picture, saying that he didn't need her anymore. So he poisoned the food.

He thought it was rather merciful, his mother had died in her sleep and no one had even known it happened until it was too late, he buried her and then never spoke or thought of her again until after he was freed.

description: Six has just dropped Mono at the Signal Tower, and she's gone to go out of the portal.. but is unable to. The portal is a TV. Mono is the only one with the power to go through TVs, and she'd just dropped him.

Chapter Two

He had creepy eyes and broke my music box, and so I dropped him off this cliff.

Six lands with a sharp cry on.. soft, squishy ground. She doesn't shatter all her bones like she'd expected.

That isn't to say that it doesn't hurt like hell, however. All the breath is knocked out of her, squishy ground or not the impact still felt like she'd crashed into it from like fifty feet—which, she had, actually—and so it takes her a few minutes before she's able to sit up.

And then stand up. And look around.

All she can see around her are just endless mounds and walls of writhing, pulsating flesh, and watching eyeballs. It's absolutely disgusting.

She just stands there for a few minutes. Staring. Trying to come to terms with her soon to be fate.

And then.

"SIX?!" A voice from behind her. Oh god.

She really, really does not want to turn around. Why is he still alive?! Well, actually, she supposes it makes sense that he's still alive, after all she'd survived the fall too. But still!

How is she supposed to face him now?! How can she explain this?! What is she supposed to say—'oh, yeah, sorry about that, you have creepy eyes and broke my music box and so I dropped you off this cliff'—who SAYS that?!

She's bad with awkward conversations. All that gushy stuff about feelings and communication—she just doesn't get how it's supposed to work!

And also, now that the danger has sort of paused for the first time in like forever.. she thinks she might cry. Her eyes are burning. She'd just dropped Mono off a cliff! Her best friend! That weird kid with a paper bag on his head who'd saved her from the Hunter and the Bullies—and who also, ahem, burned that Doctor alive, apparently smashed through hordes of those Bullies with nothing but a hammer, and also kept sticking his head into TVs and eventually freed some Slenderman wannabe demon with a fedora. Bestie goals, am I right..?..no, maybe not.

But still. He'd trusted her. And she'd let him down.

Just like she'd done to her, long ago. "Six?"

She supposes she can't avoid this forever. She's already made it kind of awkward by just standing here for like fifteen seconds. So she reluctantly turns around.

He'll forgive her, right?..okay, so maybe expecting someone to forgive you after literally dropping them off a cliff to their likely demise is kind of unlikely. But he's also kind of dumb, and he's already proven that he'll go to ridiculous lengths to remain her friend, so maybe she still has a chance. Maybe. Please god let him be dumb enough to forgive me.

The look on his face freaks her out a little bit. He's staring at her, unblinking, eyebrows furrowed and mouth set into a thin, trembly line. His eyes—still black, like a void, or maybe a TV screen—are shiny with tears. He's shaking visibly, his fists clenched at his sides.

Six takes a quiet breath. He's good at getting them out of bad situations, almost as good as she is. If she plays her cards right, appeals to the side of him that loves her desperately, she thinks she could get him to forgive her. And then they could figure a way out of the Signal Tower. "..Mono—"

But she doesn't get a chance to finish her sentence before he's suddenly lunging at her—no warning, knocking her over, pinning her wrists down with his knees. She stares up at him with wide eyes as he wraps his hands around her throat.

But doesn't squeeze immediately. Instead he just stares down at her for a moment, a few seconds that stretch and feel like hours with the terror pressing down on her lungs. She can't breathe. He hasn't even started choking her yet and she's still so scared that she's already lost the ability to breathe.

"Hey—" She tries to talk, tries to say something to him—what, she's not entirely sure, but something—but her voice must set him off because his mouth twists into a scowl and he cuts her off with a sudden, harsh squeeze.

She immediately panics, her lungs start to burn and her vision goes fuzzy and his short nails dig into her throat. She kicks and tries to throw him off, to no avail.

She stares up at him with wide, scared eyes as he leans down a little and stares back. Her vision goes dark and fuzzy around the edges and her whole world narrows down to his face in front of her.

Hot tears run down her face. She's pretty sure she's crying, but her head is spinning so fast that it's hard to tell. His face seems to warp, she can't really focus on it, but it's like his eyes are turning into pools of black ink and dripping all over her, infecting her vision, and making everything blur and start to fade to black. Oh god.

She's about to pass out—or maybe she already did pass out and now she's waking up, who knows—when the pressure is suddenly removed from her throat and her lungs are heaving great big, painful, burning gulps of air without waiting for her say about it. She barely registers the weight disappearing from her chest as well, she just lays there, gasping.

Her head goes fuzzy, her face heats up, and her ears start to ring. She's suddenly so dizzy and faint and it scares her.

She starts to try and scramble to sit up, she feels like she's gonna die if she stays on her back a second longer, but a hand grabs her wrists, pressing them to her chest and forcing her back down. Instead of trying again she just squeezes her eyes shut and tries to take slow breaths, tries to come back to herself.

It does take her a minute. Maybe two. But after that the ringing slowly fades out, her cheeks cool back down, and she feels less like she's going to suddenly black out. She opens her eyes again.

A painful shock of fear goes through her body as she sees Mono sitting over her, still holding onto her wrists. She freezes for a moment, scared she might set him off again, but he's sobbing quietly into his sleeve and he doesn't try to stop her when she tentatively pulls her wrists away and sits up. She quickly inches back to sit a safe distance away, just out of arms reach.

"I'm sorry.." he sobs. He curls into a ball and covers his face with both arms.

Six stays silent. She doesn't know what to do.

She's trembling. It hurts when she breathes or swallows. And she's confused now and she hates it.

He'd broken her music box.

She'd dropped him off a cliff.

And then he just strangled her.

Normally life or death situations are very black and white. Those ones are easy. You're just walking through a building, minding your own business, and a monster comes and tries to kill you. It's objectively the monster's fault, whatever you do next is in self defense, and there's no need to think too deeply into it.

But this is a gray situation, she thinks. And she doesn't know how to deal with those. She doesn't know who's in the wrong anymore.

"Six, please.." she's snapped out of her thoughts by Mono's pitiful, teary voice, and she zones back in and then flinches as she sees him reaching out to her. He sees the flinch and jerks his hand back, looking hurt.

He looks pathetic. His face is flushed cherry-red, his lower lip trembling, his eyes round and shiny. She hates it when he looks like this, hates how it makes her melt. He'd just tried to KILL her—never mind the fact she'd also tried to kill him not ten minutes ago—she shouldn't still be sitting here! She should be running! Maybe he needs to deal with the consequences of his own actions for once!

But for whatever reason she can't make herself run. She tells herself it's because her legs still feel wobbly and she'd probably fall over, not because she doesn't want to leave him.

"..I'm sorry I hurt you." Mono's voice comes out soft and careful. She can see how tentative he's being, like he doesn't want to scare her off. "..I shouldn't have done that."

He tries to reach for her again. Not pushing it, just extending his hand and holding it there, waiting to see if she takes it.

She doesn't. Not yet.

"..why are you apologizing?" She hates the sound of her voice. It comes out sharp, teary. "I just dropped you off a cliff. M-maybe you should've just killed me." She doesn't think about the words before they come out, and so when she hears them she's not really expecting them and they make her feel suddenly very cold. She doesn't want him to kill her.

"But I don't wanna kill you." He's staring at her, not blinking. It's unnerving. Is this just how he's always been? That probably makes sense, she wouldn't have noticed it much before because of the bag, but he doesn't seem like a blinking kind of person. And he's still got his hand out, far past the point where it becomes awkward.

"Well maybe one of us should kill the other!" More terrible words come out without her permission. "You should kill me because I'm probably just dead weight to you with how many times you've had to save me, and I ditch you at every chance I get! And I should kill you because you slow me down and put me in danger all the time! I TOLD YOU TO STOP GOING INTO THE TVS!"

"..the man was calling me." He says it so simply, so matter of factly, like it's something reasonable they should all just accept. Like he's not a liability. Someone susceptible to outside influences that the Transmission could corrupt. Someone powerful enough to be dangerous. Someone STUPID enough to hear a strange man from inside a TV calling to him and think, 'yep, this seems like a perfectly sane thing to listen to!'

What an idiot. Why did she ever decide to be friends with him again?

Before Six even realizes it she's standing up, shaking, fists clenched at her sides so hard they might be bleeding. She can feel the blood rushing to her face.

"YOU CAN'T JUST DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT TO!"

She can see his eyes go wide at her shout. He stands up as well, reaching out his hand again, trying to placate her. NO.

She smacks his hand away. "DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH ME!" She all but screams. She's so fucking angry. She wants to hit him. She wants to slam his stupid face into a wall until he's bloody and crying.

"..we can still be friends.." his voice wobbles a little. "..I-I forgive you for dropping me.."

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU FORGIVE ME! I DON'T FORGIVE YOU! YOU DON'T EVEN CARE THAT YOU HURT ME TOO, SOMETIMES I JUST WISH YOU'D—" Six suddenly cuts herself off with a sharp gasp as the hills of flesh surrounding them suddenly start to move. She watches in absolute horror as they slowly begin to rise up around them.

"Six, please, we can talk about this later!" Mono cries out. He reaches for her again, and she's too freaked out to stop him this time as she feels his warm hand holding hers. It's still familiar and comforting despite how pissed she is at him. "Come with me, we gotta find a way out of here! I'll protect you!"

"I don't need you to protect me," she snaps, but she doesn't let go of his hand and she follows as he tugs her in the direction of a sickly, faint light source.

They break into a sprint. Six sneaks a glance at a cluster of eyeballs, and then looks away quickly, her belly roiling with nausea. They don't want her here. She doesn't know why, but the negative energy in the air is so thick, so suffocating, so angry. It doesn't want her here.

She sets her jaw and just follows Mono. She's still pretty sure she wants to beat him up later, but for now she's just going to worry about getting out of here alive. Even if the masses of flesh aren't actively hostile yet, yet being the keyword, she'd still much rather get away from them before they decide to be.

I'm so in love with the idea of thunder god tribe being like lil triplets for Laxus, and Laxus is like "no I can't do reckless shit no more, I have my kids to worry about", people are like "you have kids???", Laxus: "yeah", and kids are just three grown-ups looking at Laxus with heart-shaped eyes, and then he's like "okay, I need to go take care of them"

Freed is the oldest one, repeating after him, following his steps, learning and growing, best student, his pride.

Bickslow is next, lil dumb (no, he's actually a secret genius), lil crazy, lil reckless, in short - middle child, circus on feet, but he's Laxus' joy.

And Evergreen as youngest one, pretty and pretty independent, fairy with attitude, she may seem giddy, but she's very smart and cunning; they say if you look at Evergreen for a long time, you can see Laxus.

And it's so-so cute, cuz this kittens are his family, part of his life, and I love it so much, cuz let's be honest with eachother, Laxus is a big softie, and he really need someone to protect, so even if he knows for sure that Freed, Ever and Bickslow are more than capable to protect themselves, that doesn't mean he's not worrying about them. He does. Sometimes a lot. 'They don't need someone to protect them, they're strong,' he says, and then Mirajane cas clearly see that he just can't sit on that chair calmly. She wants to say how cute he is like that, but she bites her inner cheek instead, to not to scare that...openness he's showing her. And it's absolutely obvious that he's showing it, on purpose, he allows himself to be like this, because Mira knows - Laxus can hide really well when he wants to. So she's just glad he trusts her enough to show his true feelings for the raijinshuu.

He'd be a good father, she thinks suddenly, and then blush appears on her face and she hurries to hide it, going to the basement for *choose the reason* while Laxus stares after her with an questioningly raised eyebrow, until his own blush shows on his cheeks. He probably looked stupid...

Even though Laxus doesn't usually care what other people think of him personally, for some reason he doesn't want to look stupid in front of her.

Sheesh.

P.s. inspired by this, look at them. Look at them. He lllooovvvvessssss herrrr (I'm not talking about romantic love here), HE LOVES HER, THAT'S WHY HE CAN BE LIKE THAT WITH HER, AND EVER KNOWS HIM WELL ENOUGH, LOOK. COME THE FUCK ON. THEY'RE FAMILY. I'M DEAD.

Ever but like that 'annoying' lil 'girly girl' sis who can poke you just because she can, and I think if she really was his lil sis, she would simply come up to him, coquettishly extend her hand, and he'd give her money without questions (but with a heavy sigh). And Bickslow'd be like 'wow, can I have some too???', and Laxus to him with straight face, blinking: 'No.' Freed, trying his luck, quietly: "...can I?". Laxus would asked how much and would give him the requested amount, and Bickslow would explode at how terribly unfair this is!!! And Laxus'd give him an hour and a half lecture about how Freed spends money on books and stuff for self development, and Bickslow, on the contrary, always buys all sorts of crap.

"Why then are you giving money to Ever, huh?!" He rightly grumbles, frowning comically, almost stomping his foot. "She buys all sorts of crap too!"

Laxus looks him straight in the eyes. Blinks twice. And, raising his mug of beer, explains:

"I just like her more than you."

Bickslow eventually explodes, making angry noises, and Mirajane, nearby watching this scene, cannot help but giggle at how Laxus skillfully hides his grin behind his mug.

A Summary of Shakk Lore

Shakk was raised until he was seven years old on a peaceful farm on Ryloth-however when it came time and slaves trades were becoming more and more rampant- his mother sold him into slavery so there was less work on the family.

(And she never really loved him.) She had all daughters and never needed a son. He was passed around from owner to owner until he was about 13 years old. During this time he had just been doing basic tasks and some 'entertainment. He was also starting his training to be an arena fighter. One of the things that had made him unique was his vitiligo- which started to grow larger and that labeled him even more 'exotic’. He was finally bought by Jabba the Hutt around that age as well. He was mainly used as an entertainment slave at Jabba's palace- in any form. He had tried to bond with other slaves and workers but none of that deemed successful really. As he grew up, his anger and hatred for how he was being treated truly started to flourish and the way they would keep him in line was with brute force. (The whippings on his back.)

He had almost lost hope in himself and the world when he was freed when Luke had killed Jabba in the movie- he took that opportunity to escape. From when he was freed he swore to himself to get revenge on every last owner he could find. But before he became a bounty hunter he made a name for himself in cage fights. That was where he could take his anger out on where he had been wronged his entire life. Soon enough he had enough credits and bought a ship-starting his country career. (I forgot to add but he was 21 when he was freed and he was 23 when he became a bounty hunter.)

Later on in his bounty career he met a Mandolorian named Zenij. Zenij had been mainly doing duo missions- ship hopping along the way and they were paired together for a mission. They had worked together and then decided to stick w each other because it was more beneficial for both of them. However, after a year and a half of working together they had started to catch feelings, and Shakk was starting to let him in. Zenij was the one person that made Shakk feel truly... safe. But that all ended the last mission they went on together. Shakk had believed they were collecting info for a secret broker to help them flush out a slave trade location but instead it was revealed that Zenij had been working for Jabba the Hutt before he was killed and now he was working more closely with the Hutts.

He stabbed Shakk in the back, but instead of turning Shakk into the broker to potentially go back into his life of servitude omce more, he shot him, and threw him into the ocean below them. Miraculously, Shakk survived. However, now he had no ship, no partner, and barely enough credits to keep himself alive. He didn't give himself a chance to recover and returned to his missions- angrier than ever and didn't care who he hunted- he got the job done. He dropped all contact with Zenij- throwing away their comm device. He basically surrounded himself in his hunts-never giving himself a chance to rest to drown away all the hurt he felt. To not make this too long (it already is) - after several.

Several years he met this Lasat bartender, Elias. (Shakk was a total ass to him btw be he always is) But the two started to build a bond... Elias was the stern but easy going bartender that talked Shakk through his problems and Shakk came to the bar after every mission to drink and crash at the rooms provided. Things were starting to look up for Shakk- he had found a new partner (him and Elias got together eventually). Until his mum showed up. (And he killed her in front of Elias after she had tried to apologize to Shakk.)

Can you share any headcanons about the Foccart family (LOSH) please? 🥺👉👈

Oh boy, I sure can! This will be about the Post Zero-Hour Foccart family since I have not gotten around to properly reading the older stuff. I do fully consider Lyle part of their family btw so he's in some of these.

Mrs. Foccart is a well known chemist who used to work for the government but now she mostly focuses on personal projects and lives off of her hefty retirement payout.

She taught Lyle pretty much everything he knows. She was the one to introduce him to chemistry and the first person to support his love for the craft. They used to spend long days experimenting together.

Danielle also had an interest in chemistry from a young age and got a formal education in it.

Danielle is the only one of her siblings who has a college degree.

Mr. Foccart owns a film store that rents and sells old, vintage movies and TV shows. It is not very popular and it doesn't make much money, but he has a few diehard customers who keep his business open.

Jacques and Lyle used to go to work with him and he'd let them pick out a movie every time before heading home. They always chose old spy movies; this was what got them interested in espionage.

Lyle kept his distance from the Foccarts' after Jacques "death" because he blamed himself for it and thinks they should also blame him, but the family tried to keep in contact with him regardless.

Danielle regularly sent messages and life updates to Lyle's old contact info.

They moved houses when Jacques "died" and it was a painful decision, but it was more painful living in a house that had so many reminders of him.

When Jacques is eventually freed from Earthgov, the family is over the moon. They insist that he call them at least once a week and visits whenever he can, and he complies.

They have big family calls every Saturday, or whenever time allows them to. They eventually get Lyle (and by extension Querl sometimes) involved in these calls. It's always full of equal parts chaos and love.

Mr. and Mrs. Foccart met in college (he was majoring in history and film, she was majoring in chemistry) and got married shortly after graduating.

They met the Norgs at an event/gala back when Mrs. Foccart was still working for the government.

Mrs. Foccart wears her wedding ring around her neck on a chain. This is a habit she picked up because she would constantly be pulling it off to work and it was just easier to wear it that way.

When it comes to holidays, they go big or go home. They're the best at throwing parties.

Cooking is a family activity. They cook together and eat together as often as they can. They all know how to cook as a result, whether they can do it well varies from person to person. (Best to worst; Mrs. Foccart -> Jacques -> Lyle -> Mr. Foccart -> Danielle)

They like to go camping, but haven't done it more than once or twice since the kids were young.

They totally all pull pranks on each other. April fools day is an absolute nightmare in that house.

Similar to her dad's job, Danielle collects vintage media, but she's more into old music.

They can all play at least one instrument: Danielle can play the guitar. Jacques can play piano. Mrs. Foccart can play the piano as well as the violin. Mr. Foccart can play the clarinet. Lyle can play violin, but he's not the best at it.

My version of Tape Girl is named Tappy so that’s what I’ll be referring to her as. This is mostly specific to my and @heyhollow ‘s au Hare in Fox Skin btw :))

They were childhood friends! Met when they were nine-ish years old!

Girlfriend who yaps about her hyperfixatons (tappy) x girlfriend who gets distracted and does NOT listen (vanessa)

Tappy tried to ignore the fact that her girlfriend was possessed for a few months, but it was painfully obvious to her

“Once i figure out how to undoom her from the narrative the wedding is BACK ON” —Tappy, probably

Dated a bit in high school, broke up so they’d get “the full college experience”, got back together junior year of college and stayed together until Vanessa went Vanny mode ™️

Vanessa can get very clingy and jealous. Girlie will have full blown panic attacks when she things Tappy is ignoring her (Tappy just forgot)

When Vanessa is dealing with The Malhare shit they quickly slip into toxic yuri territory (Tappy is surprisingly not entirely opposed to being held at knife point)

Yk that one class of 09 clip that’s like “I’ll spit in your face” “I’ll spit in your mouth” “I’LL LIKE IT”??? Yeah, that’s them after they “break up” because of The Malhare

Never stop thinking about each other, and after Vanessa’s freed they find their way back to each other

Did couples costumes every year for halloween. When Vanessa got possessed, they didn’t do it for the first time in years. Tappy was NOT happy

I'm back! Sorry for the wait!

So, after All That Sora ends up going through a mysterious looking castle called Castle Oblivion and loses some of his memories along the way. Riku’s in the same castle, but like, in the basement. He’s not losing his memories, but he is feeling really bad about all that stuff in the first game and really wants to do better. Mickey Mouse is there and is very supportive of Riku’s redemption arc. Also, there’s a bunch of guys in black trenchcoats saying mysterious things and fighting Sora and Riku. They’re members of Organization Thirteen, a cult of sorts made up of those special nobodies I mentioned earlier. There’s also a girl in a white dress, her name’s Namine and technically she’s responsible for Sora’s memory loss, but she’s a prisoner of Org 13 so she really didn’t want to do all that. Eventually Sora beats most of the Org guys and finds out that his memories are being messed with, and he’ll need to go to sleep for a while so Namine can fix everything. There’s also the complication of Roxas, who is Sora’s nobody. When Sora freed his heart and turned into a heartless, he also created one of those special nobodies, who ended up in Organization 13. In order to become whole again, Sora needs Roxas to fuse with him, but Roxas likes being his own person and also isn’t really up to date on everything that’s happening so he just knows people keep telling him to return to some guy called Sora and preventing him from eating ice cream with his friends. Also there’s someone else involved in all this called Xion, but I’m trying to focus on SoRiku, so I’m ignoring her for now. All in all, Sora ends up being asleep for like, a whole year, and the whole time Riku is watching over him and working to restore him.

(btw, I typed up the whole explanation, and I'll put it here in chunks so as to not exceed the character limit)

Glitchtale Rewritten

My brother and I have been talking about Glitchtale for a bit and decided that we should rewrite it. The series has a ton of world building errors, plot holes, character assassinations, and so on and so fourth.

Here are some concepts for our main villain, Betty.

In this world, pink souls don't mean fear, they mean compassion. They are EXTREMELY rare. It's very unlikely you'll see someone with a pink soul. It was to the point where people thought pink souls were just a myth.

Betty once lived in a human village, but was heavily abused by her parents until they died when she was six. And as an orphan, everyone hated her. They thought she was a "bad omen". One day, a group of humans threw her into a lake because they thought she was a demon. As she was floating along the river, a monster family found her and adopted her. Her monster parents loved her and cared about her, and she had a great brother named Azlin. She was happy. Until the war broke out. Betty's family hid in their basement to hide, but the humans found them. They killed them in front of Betty and Azlin. As they were about to kill Azlin, Betty attacked them and ended up getting injured alongside Azlin. Azlin and Betty ran into the forest whilst being chased by the humans. Eventually, they ran into a cliff and had nowhere to run. Betty begged them to spare her and Azlin, to at least let them survive for one more day. But the humans didn't listen and pushed them both off a cliff. Ending the lives of Betty and Azlin.

But Betty didn't want to die yet. So she and Azlin both cheated and glitched back to being alive (but undead at the same time). So the two siblings made it their life's mission to kill all of the humans and let the monsters live in peace and prosperity. Betty and Azlin kills multiple humans and takes their souls to become even more powerful. Soon, her Compassion became Indifference.

Betty is actually a puppet! She is able to hide it from the humans and monsters, but there are hints to her being a puppet. Such as; abnormal walking, bending and contorting in freaky areas, and if you look closely you can see black tar and bugs.

I think throughout the story, Betty would be chasing after Frisk for their determination soul. So she can be even more powerful to kill every human on the planet. She dislikes Frisk for their naivety and almost couldn't believe that they even freed the monsters.

Azlin (Akumu's replacement btw) is her adoptive brother. He's pretty cold and aloof, but he's caring and loves his family, especially Betty. He hides in Betty's backpack until it's time to fight and sometimes speaks to Betty.

Maybe when the monsters are released, she was happy to see them again after so long, but was less happy about the racism they were facing, which only deepened her beliefs about humanity.
