actually…. now that im having thoughts on clear sky in my au as an overarching antagonist… i wanted to put a dotc character in the dark forest that is there solely for unfair reasons that clear sky can harp on throughout the series as this manipulative disgusting person who is satan incarnate, and everyone buys it bc of the propaganda throughout the decades, only for oots to reveal this character to be like… not a good person, sure, but someone whos just been broken and forced into that position for years. someone who just wants to stop existing entirely now but cant because their memory lives on for all the wrong reasons. and its like… a revelation for ivyleaf that the dark forest is full of despicable evil people, yes, but its also a symptom of a corrupt system that enables a cycle of suffering.

and i was torn on who exactly this cat would be. like, i think gray wing is an obvious and tragic candidate, but i kinda want to keep his status as this “wise sage” who is respected throughout the years but in reality was just a cruel enabler and stickler for the tragedy his brother created. while its cool to rewrite him into the tragic figure people want him to be, i dont think thats where i want to go with him. i was thinking bumble too, but honestly… her story is just SO awful that i really want to give her a happy ending where after shes left for dead, shes found by a nice twoleg who lets her be a bookstore cat. shes used as a fearmongering story for the clans, but she had a peaceful death and was happily put through the reincarnation cycle. one eye is also a good candidate as someone who was basically created to make clear sky look less bad, so i was leaning more towards him…

but the more i think about it, the more i actually think star flower fits the role the best. like, she is treated like dogshit in canon and her “crime” of letting her dad know hes gonna get assassinated is treated as equal to or worse than clear skys war crimes. even in the fandom, while i know its not at all meant as an insult, shes seen as a manipulative villain who has horrible intentions and wants to cause chaos. when in reality, shes also a victim of clear sky.

i dont think she has his kits in this au, nor is there gonna be a father/son love triangle plot, but she is still romantically involved with clear sky in a fucked up cycle of abuse way. and i think what happens is that she takes away some of his lives, maybe even his last, when she finally reaches her limit and assassinates him, to avenge herself and her father. shes placed in the dark forest and this story is rewritten as a cautionary tale against letting outsiders into the clan- theyll manipulate their way to the top, and try to rot the clan from within.

her name may be something different in the dark forest, something correlating to “rot”. like “rotting flower” or something.

i realize i did a little tangent about not wanting bumbles suffering to be dragged out while… kinda doing that to star flower instead. but like ok at least star flower will get some W’s i think. i’ll let her double kill thistleclaw as a treat or something.

I'd like to believe Marion's luck doesn't just come from herself, but also the spirit of Marinette trying to guide her away from becoming bitter like her old self & one carved by marion herself.

Also I'd like to believe marion met her parents was when Marinette carried her & Adrian to her balcony making her parents find out about the 2 little Interlopers. (Tom & sabine were keeping people save in their bakery from kaminette vs Luci-Lila fight happening outside when kaminette brought Adrian & Marion) Both Marion & the Dupan-Changs instantly hit it off (with Adrian making a cover story about this little girl having amnesia after the Devine battle + the couple remembering Adrian as that one boy who always hung around the bakery for some reason (Marinette)) Of course the (now childless) couple decide to try & find any family for Marion (given to her by Adrian right before he forgot Marinette), finding one/two of Canon!Lila's mother(s), but Marion wants to stay with Tom & Sabine (maybe Lila's Aunt tells the duo about Marion's part of the family tree no longer existing)

Marinette's now freed spirit hangs around Marion, Adrian, her mother & father safe just to keep herself around in the world to wait for her chatton's eventual eternal rest, so they could go together (this is because the miraculous curse no longer applies to her via guardian duties, so she could go & figure out his identity after her body fizzled out of existence)

Heck you could have season 4+ having chat guide a new group of miraculous heroes to keep Paris safe, for someone he forget but remembers dearly in his heart

And I've been cooking up some more lore so buckle up it's gonna be long (I'm so sorry😭):

You know Tripitaka tried to correct and help Sun Wukong in the JTW? (We get hints of that in LMK) Well imagine that, but with the First Spinjutsu Master as Tripitaka and Yuzhao as SW, after lots, lots, and I mean a lot of attempted murders from Yuzhao's parts they eventually became friends, and FSM began telling him about the vision and prophecies he had.

One of them being that a (insert element) master would one day beat him when the time came.

So basically after being freed the reason he became interested in the Ninjas is because of that prophecy, knowing they were the one.

Except he's not mad, buddy became so strong that he want someone to be challenge him so psychotically bad that instead of stopping that prophecy he keeps pushing it.

Though he forgets the difference between mortal and immortal and may or may not put them in deadly situation thinking it won't harm them much.

So (pls pls pls?) write a headcannon of it with the Ninjas?? Like each Ninja you're writing for is the one the prophecy is talking about, eventually he explains the prophecy to them by accident in the most comic way possible.

You can add Garmadon and Wu but instesd of the prophecy talking about them it's about Lloyd, and how they would react to how Yuzhao acts towards Lloyd, and yes they are unaware of the prophecy but FSM did give them some hints in the past 👀👀

☆ ┈ The two of them often started discussing this together, and finally realized that their father had left clues about the prophecy for them. And, well, guess who goes after it, telling the ninja team to watch you and not leave you alone with Lloyd?

☆ ┈ So, these two intend to do everything in their power to prevent the prophecy. And, unfortunately to you, without you.

Writer game!

What recurring themes/topics in your writing do you have?

TW: Talk of Abuse and Trauma

Also: beware of spoilers if you haven't yet read Living with The Devil You Know and want to.

I think in general there’s a big theme of trauma and abusive and toxic behavior in my writing. This is also why I prefer writing Dark!Raphael. It’s almost hard not to include those subjects with him, which might be why I’m enjoying writing him so much. I’ve directed plays in the past, and for some reason the major theme in those plays have always ended up being trauma.

It’s an interesting concept to explore I think, and perhaps also, on a more personal note, because I find it therapeutic to explore it through art. Also, before I keep yapping, I also just want to say that there is no wrong way to experience trauma, and that the things I write about are mainly from my own perspective and things I have learned about myself through dealing with my past and by talking to others with similar experiences (Nothing to worry about at all btw, I am better than I have ever been. Therapy is a godsend).

I try to make it as realistic as I can. Such as small things and reactions from my characters that I don’t blatantly point out is due to trauma, but it makes sense in that context.

My best example is Tav in ‘Living with The Devil You Know’ (Spoilers). She’s grown up with a cruel father who beat her, and it’s hinted at that he also verbally abused her. Her trauma presents itself both mentally and physically in the form of the burn scars on her face that she had chosen to hide for years.

Ironically, it’s Raphael who reveals them, even though he is the same kind of man as her father was. She shows it to him without knowing if he accepts her for it or he simply does it to ‘pour salt in the wound’, so to speak. Tav also learns that just ignoring her scars of the past, metaphorically and literally, does not mean that they have gone away.

On the other hand, she also continues the cycle of abuse in a way. She’s cold, selfish and overly practical at times towards other people, because that is how she has learned to survive. She begins to see herself as evil instead of trying to understand where it is all coming from, which I think unfortunately is very realistic for many survivors of abuse. It’s much easier to simply demonize oneself than to start dealing with the past and explore where those survival mechanisms are coming from.

I also think their relationship is depressingly representative of a lot of abusive and toxic relationships. I think that very few people figure out immediately that ‘Oh shit. My partner is cruel and abusive towards me, and they are actually not a good person’. It’s more ‘Oh they did manipulate me that one time, and they did do that other horrible thing too, but other times they are really nice and loving! They’re human too and makes mistakes!”.

Tav rationalizes the shit out of everything that man does A LOT. I love writing characters like that. With Tav specifically, her tragic flaw is that she has been abused in the past. She knows how it works. She is aware of what’s going on. And still: a part of her thinks she deserves it, because she sees herself as ‘evil’ too.

(Spoilerspoilerspoiler if you haven’t read the latest chapter. Though it is pretty obvious that it would happen eventually) Even after she is freed, as she has longed for, she goes right back to him, though she knows exactly what kind of person he is. Because the depressing truth about a lot of untreated trauma is that abuse and evil starts feeling safer and more like home, than a functional relationship ever could, because such a relationship is unknown.

I find Raphael interesting for many reasons, but the themes of abuse and toxicity are so interesting for me to work with when it comes to him, because it just makes sense. An abusive relationship with an abusive person on paper sounds horrible and one might not understand how those things even happen. Like why would a person ever “”accept”” being abused?

But then you see someone like Raphael, who we all know is an evil little shit, and we still love him. We still want to be with him, and we are still attracted to him. He has his redeeming qualities and it’s very possible that he has been through some shit himself, sure, but that’s the point: such is the case with most abusers. They don’t appear as monsters or devils (though Raphael quite literally does), they appear as nuanced human beings. Doesn’t make them less abusive or dangerous though.

I like writing about conflicted people who does things against their best interests, because they have been somehow wired or indirectly forced to do so. I like making my characters take decisions that are objectively ‘stupid’, but still make myself (and the reader, hopefully) think about if I really would have done much differently given the same circumstances?

Finally after being stumped on a name for so long, the LeshyCat children concept is here, first, of course, some info on the parents :)

How they met: Due to his injuries making it extremely difficult for him to adjust to his new life in the cult (let alone how he would now have to learn how to live with a mortal body again) on his own, the Yellow Cat (who i will be referring to as "Amare" from now on) was assigned as his caretaker to help him deal with the necessities that came with being a mortal again (sleep, water, physical activities and so on) on top of the problems that came with his injury. While Leshy at first felt insulted by this treatment (the whole "i was a god i can do this without the help of some mortal yada yada" thing), he soon realized it was for the better (while also realizing his feelings for Amare :3).

Leshy: Freed from Purgatory in the cult around 100-ish years after his death and 15 years after Narinder was overthrown by The Lamb. All his high priests and his witness (Amdusias, Valefar, Barbatos and Agares) had passed away before his arrival, making the former and current gods of death the only "familiar" figures in the cult (they both changed so much after their last encounters), although he still avoided both of them most of the time (Narinder because of his conflicting thoughts about the older brother, and The Lamb somewhat out of anger at them but mostly fear due to how traumatic Purgatory was for him), but dont worry they eventually made amends along with the rest of the bishops :). Also became friends with bat follower but she isnt relevant for this post

Amare (the Yellow Cat): Rescued from being sacrificed to the dead bishop of chaos in Darkwood after followers of the Old Faith killed everyone else from his village, works as a farmer in the cult. He was the only follower (aside from the first five followers of the cult, who are kept alive and act as advisors and friends for The Lamb) that knew of Leshy's past as an bishop, and though he still held resentment for the former god, The Lamb's seeming disposition to forgive him made the cat consider doing the same for him, volunteering to be his caretaker. Once their relationship was made official, he was given a golden skull necklace to ensure the two could stay by each other's side for eternity.

Now for the children hehe

They are twins (as ive mentioned in my other posts), a daughter named Camellia (Amare chose the name) and a son named (drumroll please im so proud of this name) Havoc! (Name chosen by Leshy of course).

They both have green moss-like fur from Leshy, and the head shape of a cat from Amare, but other than that their bodies are very distinct due to inheriting different parts from their parents

Havoc: His limbs and tail, as well as his longer whiskers, are from Amare, giving him a silhouette very similar to a cat, aside from the antler-like branches he got from Leshy, he also has two sets of eyes like Leshy used to have once, ironically though, he has rather poor eyesight, needing glasses to see things that are a bit too far. Despite his name he is actually pretty calm and enjoys the peacefulness of the cult, though this doesnt mean he is opposed to some occasional mischief, specially with his sister. Wants to help with teaching when he becomes of age (also im thinking about the idea of having him figure himself out as transfem but thats for another time)

Camellia: her limbs and tail, being from Leshy, are quite a bit longer and thicker than her brother's, giving her a broader and taller silhouette, as well as making her quite a bit stronger physically, she also has only one set of eyes and shorter whiskers than her brother, as well as no branch antlers. Is a very active person, playing with other kids and sometimes helping adults with tasks that wouldnt risk injuring her (most of the time they dont let her though). Also loves doing pranks and other forms of tomfoolery around the cult along with her brother. She is also very protective of him, getting into multiple fights with kids (and a drunk adult one time) who pick on him (aka bullies). Wants to follow her parent's job of farming when she comes of age.

I was reading one of his fanfics (THEY ARE SO GOOD BTW) and Gregory mentioned that his father died and that apparently, his mother is always busy. I know you only put this with the power of ✨plot✨ but I was thinking: What do you think happened to Gregory's mother in the middle of the mind control thing? Okay I did kind of think of it a little bit, just for funsies! I'd like to think that Gregory was glitchtrapped a bit after his father died because he was trying to find some kind of escape from the stress of it all, and wowie! He found out about this new secret game at the pizzaplex and he just had to try it! Little did he know that he'd slowly get more and more addicted to it, because he absolutely had to *reach* the end. Becoming obsessed with this new game seemed to push all of his problems aside and relieved him of his stress, so he just kept going until he was eventually glitchtrapped.

But as for his mother and his home life in general, I'd like to think that he had a pretty nice family. His dad was always really silly and goofy and friendly and his mom was very sweet and kind, especially to Gregory. Which totally startled him out of his domestic bliss after his father died in a car wreck on his way back from work.

Ever since tthen, his mother has been taking double shifts at the hospital (I HC THAT SHES A NURSE) in order to make enough money for them all, she doesnt get home until late at night and rarely gets to talk to Gregory anymore, which would obviously stir a bit of pain inside of someone after losing so much and not having much support from the only support figure that he had left.

He saw glitchtrap as a support figure over time, he seemed..pretty nice, and what he said always sounded legit, so he couldn't be all bad right?

But as Gregory delved into the madness, his mother began to notice his increasingly erratic behavior. The sweet boy that she once knew was now much more violent and aggressive, his mood switching at a rapid pace whenever he talked to her. Over time, they began to argue more and more often.

Because Glitchtrap had been feeding him lies to fuel his slight resentment towards his mother, to make it into something bigger. Telling him that his mother did not care for him anymore, that she was a liar, that she was happy that his dad died.

Now typically one wouldn't just outright believe this, but Gregory had been so sucked into it and trusted this rabbit guy so much that he hadn't realized how insane some of the things he said were.

One night after a really bad argument, Gregory goes to apologize to his mother, as sweet as can be. And of course, that's her baby boy right there so she instantly forgives him. He offers to make her something to eat to make up for it, and she lets him, because she'd just gotten home from an all nighter and she was really tired of having fast food.

Glitchtrap had convinced him to get his mother out of the picture, saying that he didn't need her anymore. So he poisoned the food.

He thought it was rather merciful, his mother had died in her sleep and no one had even known it happened until it was too late, he buried her and then never spoke or thought of her again until after he was freed.

“What’s her name?”

The shirt was shaking in your hands, the only contrast to the white fabric being the red lipstick stain that stood out, mocking you in all its glory. The full lips it depicted were seemingly laughing at you, making fun of the wife who hadn’t worn any color in many months.

“WHAT���S HER DAMN NAME, LEE TAEYONG?”

Your light whisper had turned into a scream, filled with pent-up anger that you couldn’t hold back anymore. For a few weeks already, you had suspected that there was something going on. The long overtimes at the office, the secret phone calls, the change in his appearance - you had long assumed, and now you were holding the proof in your hands.

Ever since you had first gotten to know each other, you had never seen your husband so defeated. You wished there was something else mirrored in his eyes, something like regret, sadness, upset. Something that assured you that there was a simple explanation for what you were holding in your hands. But there was none.

Your husband was eventually defeated.

Slumping into a chair, Taeyong ruffled his hair, giving his best to not face you. It wasn’t only the expression of a defeated man, but of a coward too. He hadn’t properly looked at you, his devoted wife, in so long. And even now, he didn’t have the courage to.

“You don’t know her,” he said with a raspy voice. “She’s a new co-worker.”

“And for how long?” You were amazed at your own composure, how rationally you were still thinking. But anger had many layers, and you knew you were currently only scratching on the surface, not knowing what was still coming from below. When he didn’t answer directly, you repeated, “I asked ‘For how long’?”

“A few weeks,” he brought out.

The new haircut, the new clothes, the new cologne, all without touching or paying attention to you even once. You threw the stained shirt into the corner, the light fabric sadly not having the same effect as throwing something with more weight as it only flew against the wall. You pondered over taking the vase from the table and using that instead, anticipating the noise of shatter, but still held yourself back before you stretched out your hand.

“You disgust me so much,” you pressed through gritted teeth. “Pack your bags and get out of here.”

That was when he finally freed his face from his cover and looked at you in utter shock. Ironically, that was a first, and it came with the wrong intention, way too late. Nearly throwing the chair over while he jumped out of his seat, Taeyong moved over to you, taking your hands into his.

“Please know that I love you so mu-”

“Be quiet!” you hissed and pulled away from him. “And never, ever touch me again with your filthy hands!”

“Y/n… I wanted to tell you. Really.”

“And why would that matter?” You nearly laughed at his poor attempt to excuse getting caught, a whole other level of low. “You’ve been doing this for weeks. If you really loved me, you wouldn’t even have considered it in the first place.”

“We might be married, but when was the last time we really felt like a couple?” he tried to defend his behavior. “When was the last time we went on a date? Had sex? Heck, talked properly even? The only thing we do is greet each other unhappily like a routine and then go to bed, each rolling to their own side without even looking at each other twice.”

“And why is that?” you called him out. “How many times have I begged you to finally take a day off? Cooked a romantic dinner? Planned a vacation? You were never up for it! You never showed up or showed effort, your work was always more important, even though you promised it would change! This might be a marriage on the papers, but I was in it all alone, trying to salvage it while you went around, fucking someone else!”

“I never fucked her,” he admitted ruefully. “Did you think that? It were only long talks at the office and… one night where it went little overboard, but I never-”

And did he think it would make matters less worse? It didn’t. If anything, it only proved to you that he had been playing with fire for weeks, and it had only been a matter of time until he would have gone that far if you hadn’t found out before.

When people didn’t want to be with their someone anymore, they found all possible excuses to prolong what was eventually inevitable.

“Don’t worry, I’ll leave myself.”

The door to the car opened from the inside. You threw your bag onto the backseat and then crawled into the passenger’s seat. 

“Thank you for picking me up,” you said quietly when you closed the door. “I didn’t know where else to go.”

“I promised that if you call, I’ll come.”

You turned your head aside and smiled at Jaehyun. It was a sad, but relieved smile to finally get out of that apartment as everything reminded you of your cheating husband. One minute longer in there, and you would have burned the entire building down.

A chain of aggressive knocks made you flinch, and you couldn’t believe your eyes as Taeyong’s upset face suddenly appeared on your windowside. You didn’t roll it down, but you still heard him complaining clearly,

“Him? Really? First chance and you run back to him?”

Jaehyun already unbuckled his seat belt, but you held him back by his arm. It was simply not worth it anymore, and he understood with you not having to utter a single word.

“Come back inside, y/n. Let’s talk it out!” Rather than angry, Taeyong’s voice now sounded desperate. He hated Jaehyun to the core, and you were aware of that. “Please, come back to me, don’t go with him!”

“Where to?” Jaehyun asked.

You leaned back into the seat, dismissing the pleas of your still husband.

“Just away from him.”

I'm so in love with the idea of thunder god tribe being like lil triplets for Laxus, and Laxus is like "no I can't do reckless shit no more, I have my kids to worry about", people are like "you have kids???", Laxus: "yeah", and kids are just three grown-ups looking at Laxus with heart-shaped eyes, and then he's like "okay, I need to go take care of them"

Freed is the oldest one, repeating after him, following his steps, learning and growing, best student, his pride.

Bickslow is next, lil dumb (no, he's actually a secret genius), lil crazy, lil reckless, in short - middle child, circus on feet, but he's Laxus' joy.

And Evergreen as youngest one, pretty and pretty independent, fairy with attitude, she may seem giddy, but she's very smart and cunning; they say if you look at Evergreen for a long time, you can see Laxus.

And it's so-so cute, cuz this kittens are his family, part of his life, and I love it so much, cuz let's be honest with eachother, Laxus is a big softie, and he really need someone to protect, so even if he knows for sure that Freed, Ever and Bickslow are more than capable to protect themselves, that doesn't mean he's not worrying about them. He does. Sometimes a lot. 'They don't need someone to protect them, they're strong,' he says, and then Mirajane cas clearly see that he just can't sit on that chair calmly. She wants to say how cute he is like that, but she bites her inner cheek instead, to not to scare that...openness he's showing her. And it's absolutely obvious that he's showing it, on purpose, he allows himself to be like this, because Mira knows - Laxus can hide really well when he wants to. So she's just glad he trusts her enough to show his true feelings for the raijinshuu.

He'd be a good father, she thinks suddenly, and then blush appears on her face and she hurries to hide it, going to the basement for *choose the reason* while Laxus stares after her with an questioningly raised eyebrow, until his own blush shows on his cheeks. He probably looked stupid...

Even though Laxus doesn't usually care what other people think of him personally, for some reason he doesn't want to look stupid in front of her.

Sheesh.

P.s. inspired by this, look at them. Look at them. He lllooovvvvessssss herrrr (I'm not talking about romantic love here), HE LOVES HER, THAT'S WHY HE CAN BE LIKE THAT WITH HER, AND EVER KNOWS HIM WELL ENOUGH, LOOK. COME THE FUCK ON. THEY'RE FAMILY. I'M DEAD.

Ever but like that 'annoying' lil 'girly girl' sis who can poke you just because she can, and I think if she really was his lil sis, she would simply come up to him, coquettishly extend her hand, and he'd give her money without questions (but with a heavy sigh). And Bickslow'd be like 'wow, can I have some too???', and Laxus to him with straight face, blinking: 'No.' Freed, trying his luck, quietly: "...can I?". Laxus would asked how much and would give him the requested amount, and Bickslow would explode at how terribly unfair this is!!! And Laxus'd give him an hour and a half lecture about how Freed spends money on books and stuff for self development, and Bickslow, on the contrary, always buys all sorts of crap.

"Why then are you giving money to Ever, huh?!" He rightly grumbles, frowning comically, almost stomping his foot. "She buys all sorts of crap too!"

Laxus looks him straight in the eyes. Blinks twice. And, raising his mug of beer, explains:

"I just like her more than you."

Bickslow eventually explodes, making angry noises, and Mirajane, nearby watching this scene, cannot help but giggle at how Laxus skillfully hides his grin behind his mug.

Can you share any headcanons about the Foccart family (LOSH) please? 🥺👉👈

Oh boy, I sure can! This will be about the Post Zero-Hour Foccart family since I have not gotten around to properly reading the older stuff. I do fully consider Lyle part of their family btw so he's in some of these.

Mrs. Foccart is a well known chemist who used to work for the government but now she mostly focuses on personal projects and lives off of her hefty retirement payout.

She taught Lyle pretty much everything he knows. She was the one to introduce him to chemistry and the first person to support his love for the craft. They used to spend long days experimenting together.

Danielle also had an interest in chemistry from a young age and got a formal education in it.

Danielle is the only one of her siblings who has a college degree.

Mr. Foccart owns a film store that rents and sells old, vintage movies and TV shows. It is not very popular and it doesn't make much money, but he has a few diehard customers who keep his business open.

Jacques and Lyle used to go to work with him and he'd let them pick out a movie every time before heading home. They always chose old spy movies; this was what got them interested in espionage.

Lyle kept his distance from the Foccarts' after Jacques "death" because he blamed himself for it and thinks they should also blame him, but the family tried to keep in contact with him regardless.

Danielle regularly sent messages and life updates to Lyle's old contact info.

They moved houses when Jacques "died" and it was a painful decision, but it was more painful living in a house that had so many reminders of him.

When Jacques is eventually freed from Earthgov, the family is over the moon. They insist that he call them at least once a week and visits whenever he can, and he complies.

They have big family calls every Saturday, or whenever time allows them to. They eventually get Lyle (and by extension Querl sometimes) involved in these calls. It's always full of equal parts chaos and love.

Mr. and Mrs. Foccart met in college (he was majoring in history and film, she was majoring in chemistry) and got married shortly after graduating.

They met the Norgs at an event/gala back when Mrs. Foccart was still working for the government.

Mrs. Foccart wears her wedding ring around her neck on a chain. This is a habit she picked up because she would constantly be pulling it off to work and it was just easier to wear it that way.

When it comes to holidays, they go big or go home. They're the best at throwing parties.

Cooking is a family activity. They cook together and eat together as often as they can. They all know how to cook as a result, whether they can do it well varies from person to person. (Best to worst; Mrs. Foccart -> Jacques -> Lyle -> Mr. Foccart -> Danielle)

They like to go camping, but haven't done it more than once or twice since the kids were young.

They totally all pull pranks on each other. April fools day is an absolute nightmare in that house.

Similar to her dad's job, Danielle collects vintage media, but she's more into old music.

They can all play at least one instrument: Danielle can play the guitar. Jacques can play piano. Mrs. Foccart can play the piano as well as the violin. Mr. Foccart can play the clarinet. Lyle can play violin, but he's not the best at it.

Glitchtale Rewritten

My brother and I have been talking about Glitchtale for a bit and decided that we should rewrite it. The series has a ton of world building errors, plot holes, character assassinations, and so on and so fourth.

Here are some concepts for our main villain, Betty.

In this world, pink souls don't mean fear, they mean compassion. They are EXTREMELY rare. It's very unlikely you'll see someone with a pink soul. It was to the point where people thought pink souls were just a myth.

Betty once lived in a human village, but was heavily abused by her parents until they died when she was six. And as an orphan, everyone hated her. They thought she was a "bad omen". One day, a group of humans threw her into a lake because they thought she was a demon. As she was floating along the river, a monster family found her and adopted her. Her monster parents loved her and cared about her, and she had a great brother named Azlin. She was happy. Until the war broke out. Betty's family hid in their basement to hide, but the humans found them. They killed them in front of Betty and Azlin. As they were about to kill Azlin, Betty attacked them and ended up getting injured alongside Azlin. Azlin and Betty ran into the forest whilst being chased by the humans. Eventually, they ran into a cliff and had nowhere to run. Betty begged them to spare her and Azlin, to at least let them survive for one more day. But the humans didn't listen and pushed them both off a cliff. Ending the lives of Betty and Azlin.

But Betty didn't want to die yet. So she and Azlin both cheated and glitched back to being alive (but undead at the same time). So the two siblings made it their life's mission to kill all of the humans and let the monsters live in peace and prosperity. Betty and Azlin kills multiple humans and takes their souls to become even more powerful. Soon, her Compassion became Indifference.

Betty is actually a puppet! She is able to hide it from the humans and monsters, but there are hints to her being a puppet. Such as; abnormal walking, bending and contorting in freaky areas, and if you look closely you can see black tar and bugs.

I think throughout the story, Betty would be chasing after Frisk for their determination soul. So she can be even more powerful to kill every human on the planet. She dislikes Frisk for their naivety and almost couldn't believe that they even freed the monsters.

Azlin (Akumu's replacement btw) is her adoptive brother. He's pretty cold and aloof, but he's caring and loves his family, especially Betty. He hides in Betty's backpack until it's time to fight and sometimes speaks to Betty.

Maybe when the monsters are released, she was happy to see them again after so long, but was less happy about the racism they were facing, which only deepened her beliefs about humanity.

i unfortunately watched season 1 of shield hero, can confirm that it's disgusting as a whole. to expand on raphtalia: before she was bought as a slave by the mc, she & her friends from the village were slaves together. she ages rapidly through combat (the world has a levelling system and the animal people age based on their level..) and eventually is reunited with her old friends who are still children. gosh don't you think it would be terrible and isolating and so sad to be faced with your peers who are so far removed from you now? the childhood you lost to slavery? not to mention, how does it feel to still be a slave after your old friends are saved? the narrative does not care because raphtalia serves a purpose of being the perfect completely devoted subservient woman who would never betray the mc and could never betray the mc! he raised her from a poor weak child to be dependent and then in love with him. btw, there was an episode where she was freed (forcibly! treated as a bad thing) and she immediately and willingly went back to being a slave.

basically: vote for malty for the reasons malty's depiction sucks, but also as the shield hero rep cause there's a LOT of misogyny in there

when i say i can see the potential of kata@ng and that i could've multishipped it along with zutara if i was happier with how it was written i really do mean that btw. i feel like they could've had this pure, adorable ghibli-esque love between a girl who was forced to grow up far too fast and a boy who helped her regain the childhood she lost. this beautiful fated romance between a boy who was frozen in ice for 100 years and the girl who found him and freed him, a boy and a girl who under normal circumstances would never even have had the chance to meet. this powerful friends to lovers story between two kids who both survived the genocide of their people, who were the last of their respective bending disciplines, who had suffered far, far too much and who supported each other and brought each other happiness and hope in a war-torn world, and who came together to eventually save the world. i really wish we had gotten more scenes like the one where aang takes katara penguin sledding or when they dance during the headband, and that they hadn't made a joke out of her acting motherly toward him, because i feel like their relationship with each other really shone in those moments when they were goofing off together and katara was getting to just be a kid! i also genuinely appreciate the moments when she takes initiative in the relationship and shows romantic interest in him, such as when she suggests that they kiss in the cave of two lovers and when she’s the one to initiate the kiss in the finale, but i don’t feel like we get nearly enough of that while we get way more moments of aang showing interest in katara. i wish i could truly see what the shippers see in them because i can how it could’ve been great, but the way it’s executed in the show is just... not it for me and makes me wish aang had moved on from his crush and that they’d remained the best of friends at the end. and it really does not help that the way katara was treated in LOK just makes me incredibly frustrated every time i think about it!!

I made an official AU!

This is called DustTale-A side, or DustTale: Changed Timeline, where everyone has the same roles but there’s huge differences to the story. The designs are also canon btw

*STORY*

After falling into the underground for the First time, Frisk began her adventure and freed everyone from the underground. But one day, she got bored, and began to wonder what would happen if she reset the world, Sans was nearby and saw what was about to happen, he tried to stop her but failed. Eventually she woke up in the ruins, instantly realizing that she could do the same thing over and over again, and started to wonder what would happen if she attacked.

She put her idea to the test and began her first Genocide run after 5 resets, after her fifth, she met Chara for the first time. Chara made a deal with Frisk saying “I can help you bring something new into this world…all I ask is that you let me join you”

After thinking, Frisk closed the deal and they set off finishing the run. After over 356 resets, that was when things finally changed… and when Frisk would regret her actions.—————————————————————————————————— *CHARACTERS*

*FRISK*

Frisk in this world is more confident and adventurous, usually getting into trouble or finding trouble. After starting a fifth genocide route, she finally drifted away after making a deal with Chara, eventually becoming partners and committing mass genocide. Frisk now regrets those actions, but she cannot be set free on her own.

*FLOWEY*

Flowey is more careful on hiding his real intentions and plans, and enjoys watching Frisk failing from his traps and fights, he also resembles a buttercup and loves to act sweet and friendly. Flowey is a little more stronger when it comes to strength, specifically with vines and pollen. Flowey can grow to massive sizes and destroy walls if he wanted to, the pollen can act as a poison or make any person tired.

After the genocide run began, he showed more of his sinister side and acts as an alert for Sans, but also acts on his own accord. *TORIEL*

Toriel is more caring in this world and her magic is a bit stronger and the ruins is filled with flowers, vines trees and bushes, and grown by her. Toriel also keeps her old crown in her room, and a golden necklace with her at all times. After being killed by Sans, she returned as a phantom known as “The Burner”, any time you see her or she finds you, she’ll immediately burn on fire and attack.

*NABSTABLOOK*

Nabstablook is less nervous but prefers to be by himself sometimes. He enjoys listening to music a lot and wishes to make his own someday, usually he can be seen hanging out with his cousin Mettaton, or in at Waterfall singing with other monsters.

After being killed from revealing his weakness, he became a phantom called “Siren”. If you hear whistling or humming with no one around, run and hide.

*PAPYRUS*

Papyrus is more eager and energetic in this AU, his traps are more complicated and his puzzles are bigger, but fun though. Papyrus still wishes to become a royal guard, and tries to prove he is more than ready for it.

After dying, he follows Sans around wherever he goes, along with the other phantoms. He’s usually trying to calm Sans whenever he has a break down, and acts as his body guard. His traps are more violent as well.

*UNDYNE*

Undyne is more tactical and strong willed, including when it comes to battle. Undyne’s armor is tougher but somewhat lighter too, still has difficulties when entering HotLands however. After her death, she becomes “The shadow knight”, and will hunt Frisk down and attack when cornered or in complete darkness.

*ALPHYS*

While trying to help fallen monsters and keeping their bodies together, she caught an unknown illness and nearly died because of it. Alphys was in a panick one day after finding out her soul started cracking, and without thinking, injected herself determination, hoping it will mend her soul. It did, but at a cost however. Her body began to slowly melt, and the more stressed she got, the worse the condition. Undyne and Mettaton were there with her the entire time while it happened.

Eventually they both made a cure for Alphys. Whenever Alphys feels scared, stressed or angry, her body begins to melt and the worse the condition gets. After Sans’ rampage, she ran to the True Lab and broke down completely. Almost her entire body melted and now shows signs of mutation. She is one of the only ones Sans never killed.

*METTATON*

Mettaton loves to bring drama and excitement to the audience, and puts on a grand show every time. He also includes Nabstablook and other friends in different episodes, with Frisk being on one too. After death, Mettaton became “The beast”, and can be seen around at The Core, Alphys’ lab or with Sans. His soul is replaced with teeth, and a large eye on his chest, including two sharp tentacles that are attached to his back.

*ASGORE*

Asgore is more relaxed and did his best to fix his mistakes. Giving the fallen children a proper burial, the next day he found six beautiful flowers fully grown in front of the tombstones, along with the souls freed from their capsules. The souls are still in the castle, but now wander wherever Asgore goes, and love to chat with him.

Asgore and the children found peace.

But after his death, he became “Thorns”, his magic is stronger, and can be able to create his own vessel, which resembles his body, but he’s no longer the same. The children still stick with him, and worry that he may go too far and may die again.

*SANS*

Sans is the last one to talk about, in this world, he is more anxious and tired. But after the genocide runs and resets, he finally snapped, and began his own run.

He forces himself to stay awake whenever he feels tired, but it makes it worse and harder to use magic, which is where the phantoms come in when he must rest. After becoming the murderer, he also got more anxious, and even has panic attacks, or powerful meltdowns. He wishes he could turn back time, when everything was ok, but it can never be the same.——————————————————————————————————Welp, that’s about it for the story and Designs, hope you all enjoyed it. I have a Japanese Folklore/Yokai AU that I’m not 100% if sure I’m knowledgeable enough to write so I’m dropping it here. I’m only gonna give a oversimplified summary of the yokai I made Sun and Moon with any other yokai getting the “just google it” treatment, otherwise this would be way too long. I’m referring to Sun and Moon as girls here because Moon’s yokai is exclusively female, but I’m absolutely open for any sort of trans/nb/genderfluid or gender defying stuff for this. This is set in the modern day btw. Probably in Japan but idk

YN is a kid that lives in a small village/town (idk the right term help) nearby a larger city. They’re a nice kid that likes to help animals. Once (when they were about 4-5ish) they saved a spider’s life when it was drowning in a stream near their home, and freed and fed a fox that was caught in something. They eventually move out with their guardian(s) when they were a pre-teen. Now an adult, they move back into their childhood hometown in a remote house. It seems while they were gone, two women moved in. They bouncy, joyful, yet cunning Sun, and the reserved, sly, yet kindhearted Moon. (Btw you could give them human names, but I’m just using their real ones to make this less complicated). Sun is a gardener and florist, and Moon plays a Biwa (Japanese Lute) for a living. Both of these girls have, a mysterious feeling about them, a past they refused to talk about (except to every specific people), their houses’ locations being a mystery, and an instant fondness for YN

As you can guess, they aren’t humans. Sun is a Kistune, a magic fox that take a human form for whatever reason. Moon is a Jorōgumo, a giant spider that can take the appearance of a conventionally attractive human, mostly to lure horny humans to be eaten, but I’ve heard sometimes they be helpful protectors to humans. Both of them stay in their human forms a lot because they like hanging out with humans. Moon does eat certain people btw, but she targets and eats abuse parents and/or spouses exclusively. As you could probably guess, they’re the animals YN saved when they were a kid, as at the time they were too young to change forms and saved themselves. Both of them coincidentally live in (or under in Sun’s case) the house YN moved into, as they took on their animal forms. YN, like the rest of the town, though the house was empty. YN leaves the “bugs and wildlife” be so the only issue that arises is Moon quickly having to hide her “leftovers” so YN won’t get traumatized and/or framed for murder. She enlists the help of a Tofu Boy (Gregory) to distract YN while she moves everything. (I like the idea of him stealing YN’s phone and running to his home where his adoptive Tanuki dad (we all on who this is) convinces YN to stay for dinner)

I’m not entirely sure what Sun and Moon’s relationship is. At first, I was thinking “Sun and Moon think that the other is trying to eat or manipulate YN for one reason or another and try to protect them from each other.” But the idea of them being girlfriends who decide they like YN’s vibe is nice too. Maybe it starts as the first, ends in the last (aka enemies to loves). Maybe something else entirely. Idk
