So I saw this book called Margaret and Margarita and had a thought:

Miguel not knowing english very well inhis childhood. Think ages between 3-9. (ik this isn’t accurate to his lore but just bare with me)

because of this, his only friends are probably Gabri and his mom 😭 he’s a pretty nerdy kid, building massive lego structures in his down time, reading books translated into spanish,, that sorta thing. I feel like he can understand it just fine, but speaking it is where he’s hard up. Grammar, spelling, essays? Yeah, those things are a little too difficult for him. (Ik im projecting bc i was the same when I was his age lmao)

imagine filo! reader’s family moving in next door, and reader, like miguel, doesn’t know english that much. Reader is a little more extroverted, but their english is kinda bad 😭 so imagine when Conchata (i think that’s her name, miguel’s mom right???) wants to meet the new neighbours, so she drags miguel and gabri along with her. She tells miguel that they have a kid his age, and that makes him a little shy. Miguel is probably nervous, cause what if he trips over his words and makes a fool out of himself??? So reader and miguel are kinda in the corner while their mom mingles with reader’s parents (I’d like to imagine gabri as a little baby here, so he’s just chilling in their mom’s arms lmfao) and so reader, being a sweetheart, tries to make conversation.

“What’s your name?”

“Miguel.”

“Ah, okay.”

“Okay.”

AND IT’S SO AWKWARD HAKAKJSJS

So after a few more minutes of silence, reader decides to try and play with him. Turns out, they have a small box full of Legos. Miguel is absolutely enthralled, and he starts to build like he normally does. And reader is so amazed kjaidja.

Miguel picks up on the fact that what reader just said was a compliment, so he just smiles and mutters a small ‘Gracias.’

SO THEY BOTH CONTINUE TO PLAY TOGETHER, DESPITE BOTH OF THEM NOT FULLY UNDERSTANDING EACHOTHER 😭😭😭 i feel like since Filipino has a lot in common in Spanish, they could pick up little phrases from eachother (Like in ur miguel x filo reader headcanons hehe)

ok i’ve talked about this a little bit before in another ask but my tags are a mess and i can’t find it but tbh i think it would be almost impossible for their darling to actually turn them against each other - even in a tiny way just because their own relationship with each other is rock solid. Iwa knows how to deal with Oikawa at his worst and vice versa. if you do end up showing preference to one over the other - say you cling to Iwa because he doesn’t go as hard on his punishments or Oikawa because a pissed off Iwa scares you they’re gonna notice, and there is nothing like a little exposure therapy to cure your fears.

So, I just read the Dear Old Friend Osamu drabble and I couldn't help but grin. The implications I got from it and the initial one-shot were the following;

1. Atsumu is a titties man, considering how much he bit and teased them in DOF.

2. 'Samu I don't have a favourite twin how dare you is an ass man considering how many words of that drabble were dedicated to his thoughts lingering on the titular dear old friend's arse.

And I'm just LIVING for it because they really do complete each other in that regard. But also because 'Samu strikes me as the kind of guy that likes face sitting and spanking his partner while they sandwich his face between their thighs. And Atsumu strikes me as the kind of person that likes just randomly fiddling with his partner's tiddies because tiddy = fun.

A solo stan who is thinking about checking other groups out?

There is nothing wrong with being a solo stan (as in only liking 1 group) as long as you are kind and courteous to other groups.

Also this post might not be for you.

But if you are a solo stan (usually starting with BTS) or just in need of finding new groups and thinking about spreading your wings here are some suggestions. 🙂

When I first got into kpop way back in the 2010 years I had no clue what I had stumbled on and I only liked 2 groups max for the longest time because I didnt know about any other groups. Since then I’ve come to love so many groups that I wish I knew about sooner.

Now mind you. I am primarily a boy group stan so there are not a lot of girl groups on her so please forgive me. -*edit I’ve decided to do a part 2 of just girl groups so stay tuned

-When they get old enough the members “graduate” and join other NCT sub-units

-Mark of NCT 127 was once the leader but he reached the age limit and “Graduated” and thus no longer apart of the group.

-Many fans detest this concept and wish SM to make them a fixed unit but that doens’t mean you can’t love OT6 or OT7 at the moment.

4th Episode Review!!!

Obvious spoilers y’all 😁

Pretty good episode! The start was creepy and I loved it sm. If I saw Charlie outside my door like that, I’d be like, “Well, hello there, foxy...” 😝 It’s very interesting that he can interact with kids in their dreams (which makes me wonder if he can do that with everyone, I imagine he could, but that candy cane theory previously reblogged here was very true!) Spending time with our protagonists was very nice, and I really enjoyed seeing (almost) everyone together on the lake. Lou is still a total sweetheart, Chris is a better dad than last season, Maggie and Vic’s bond is the best still, I love Maggie and Tabitha’s relationship so much too... all and all, good as far as our protagonists.

My big problem: THE STUPID DECISIONS.

Yeah, I know, they’re obviously there for plot and conflict, but I can’t help but get pissed at Vic’s lack of observation when blatant problems were right in front of her (ex, Wayne humming a very particular song). I feel like Vic is the Rick Grimes of this show: very obvious signs and repeated patterns right in front of them, but they don’t take the hint. And Tabitha’s planning... she should’ve waited for backup and raided the place with a whole group of cops.

I’m mad at my baby Charlie (although his pig comment was savage, I’m sorry 😂). Baby, I know you’re bad, but c’mon now, you always gotta get all the wrong cops (of course, not in his POV, yeah, yeah, plot and points of view of characters, protagonists and antagonists, I know, I know lol). Seeing him spring back up like that was totally creepy and oddly beautiful to see? I don’t know if that makes sense, but it was bad ass. I WAS HOPING BING WOULD DIE but of course not (smh). Hopefully he will go next episode based on the preview I saw.

Wayne made a bad move, yeah. I can’t blame him too harshly based on the conflict with his mom. I have hopes that the McCaromody family will start to reconcile soon (I think we all know what’s coming up next tho for them, but still, maybe before that time, they can reconcile). But for now, they all better plan up and defend that house like the military.

I’m very excited to see what is in store next week 🤩

I like song requests like this one, I can just kinda write as it comes to me instead of trying to go off a promt.

I swallowed my pride as I shoved my hands into my pockets. Billy and I argued when he told me he was moving to Indiana. I made accusations that it was because of him getting into trouble at school. A switch in him just flipped when he discovered his parent's split. He had never been a particularly sociable guy, always explicit and abrasive. But he diverted from carrying it inside to taking out on other people. I couldn’t even count on all my fingers how many quarrels he had gotten into at school in the past year. One kid bumped into him in the hallway and he lost it, knocking the poor boy to the ground and breaking his nose. It was some kind of blessing that the principal hadn't expelled him yet. Or maybe it was the fact that his father came in and berated the principal every time there was trouble. His new stepsister and I met only a handful of times. She was sweet, and honestly, hilarious. Billy didn’t see her in the same light that I did. He regarded her as a pest, somewhat to blame for the separation.

Despite all that happened, we were childhood friends that grew into something more. I always had his back, and he always had mine. Whether or not we stayed together, I needed to apologize for what I said.

I tiptoed up the steps, peering in through the window. There was Billy, on the couch with another girl. His pants were discarded, and she straddled his lap.

Everything we’d gone through together flashed through my mind as I neglected to avert my eyes.

I rang the doorbell, causing them both to jump. I presented myself in the window, throwing them the middle finger before taking off back towards my car. Yelling burst from inside the house until Billy stumbled out, still struggling to pull his jeans on over his legs.

     “Y/N, wait!” He called.

    “No.” I growled, whirling around to face him  “No.”

I backed away from Billy as he approached me with his arms open. Neither of us knew what to say.

    “Y/N.” He uttered, tears springing into his eyes.

    “No. No, no. No, no, no, no, no.” I repeated, my brain not able to come up with anything more substantial. I placed one hand over my mouth as the tears sprang out onto my cheeks.

    “That wasn’t what you thought it was.” He insisted, reaching out for my hand.

    “No! Don’t- Don’t fucking touch me.” I cried, swatting his hand away and turning on my heels, sprinting away from him.

    “Y/N!?” He screamed after me, following me close behind.

My mind reeled, flying back to all those nights we had spent on my couch with him sobbing into my shoulder about his father beating him senseless. Cleaning him up after fights. Laughing while watching movies. Playing boring ass board games that always ended in us making out. Attempting to do group projects that always ended in us arguing. Falling asleep on each other after a long day. Our blissfully oblivious innocence had suddenly been ripped out from underneath me like a rug, sending me into a freefall.

Was any of that even real? Was he pulling the same shit on other girls? Was I not enough for him? Was I his first choice or was I further down the list?

He caught my wrist, pulling me back toward him. I pushed off his chest, trying not to show the tears that were streaming down my face.

    “Let go of me!” I exclaimed, straining against his grip. He never once laid a hand on me in a way I wouldn’t want. He feared turning into his father, but that fear had either gone, or was buried deep under his emotional trauma.  

    “Please, please, don’t go.” He pleaded, “Please, you’re the love of my life.”

    “Fuck you.” I spat through gritted teeth, yanking my wrist out of his grip as I pulled my keys from my bag and got into my car.

I laid on the horn as I threw the car into reverse, speeding off down the road. The headlights turned into starbursts as the tears flew from my eyes. I frantically wiped them away as I blew through at least one stop sign on the way home.

I couldn’t cry anymore. Exhaustion was beginning to sweep over me just as there was a knock at my door. I knew exactly who it was, and I wanted nothing more than to be able to ignore it. But my body moved without my mind’s permission, dragging me to the front door. I glanced through the frosted window, seeing the outline of a figure dressed in denim.

    “Why are you even here? What else do you want from me?” I shouted at him through the door.

    “I came here to ask you to go to Indiana with me!”  

I yanked the door open, so hard I was afraid I would pull it right off its hinges. Go to Indiana? He can’t possibly expect me to drop everything and go with him. Especially not after tonight.

    “Go to Indiana with you!? I just caught you about to fuck some other girl!” I screamed, tears that I thought were depleted returning to my eyes.

To be honest, before I saw him with her, I would have considered it. So what if I was 17, I could finish my senior year, go to Purdue and study god knows what. Do what our parents did, marry our high school sweethearts and start a life there. Sure, it seemed far off, but I could think that far ahead with him. He had been such a constant, I couldn’t imagine him not remaining in my life.

    “I can’t go without you…” He admitted, rocking back and forth on his heels. He had yet to look me in the eyes.

    “You know how much shit I put up with for you?” I snarled, “How many times I wanted to leave?”

I flashed back to some drunk asshole at a party who stumbled up to me and spilled his drink on my top. I was annoyed, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Billy, though, he thought differently. The next thing I knew the kid was pinned on the floor as Billy wailed on his face. The only reason he stopped was because the cops came.

    “I know, I know-” He began.

I didn’t care to let him elaborate. Nothing he could say would make me change my mind. Nothing he could say could make me forgive him. And there damn well wasn’t a thing he could say to convince me to go with him.

    “I thought maybe you being such a jackass was because of your dad. You were sweet to me, so what did it matter, right? It’s okay that you beat people up for the hell of it. It’s okay that you drink yourself into a coma a couple of times a week. Because you loved me, right? All I needed was somebody that loved me.” I scoffed, my tears of sadness turning into tears of anger. Not at him, but at myself for not realizing this would happen sooner or later.

    “Loved, you? I still love you!” He asserted.

    “Really? Love is sticking your dick in the first new thing that walks by?”

    “Babe-” 

    “No. Don’t you fucking dare call me that, not right now.” I shrieked, loud enough for the neighbors to hear. I thanked God that my parents were out of town.

    “You got so mad at me when I told you about Indiana… You said you were done… I thought you meant we were done.” He defended, restlessly twisting his ring around his finger.

    “You fucking tell me that I’m the love of your life, yet the second we break up, you’ve moved on with somebody else!?”

    “It’s not like that!”

    “No, of course, it’s not! It’s never ‘like that’” I sneered, “That’s totally not the go-to of every cheater on the fucking planet.”  

    “It wasn’t about her! I don’t give a damn about her!” He roared, “I thought we were done. I needed somebody to run to. I couldn’t fucking deal with losing you!”

    “No. No. That’s not a good enough reason.” I argued, “You didn’t see me doing the same damn thing. Jesus Christ, Billy! We had this for years since we were kids. And you didn’t even take a second to mourn that.”

    “Baby-”

    “Leave,” I uttered.

    “Please don’t do this.”

    “You know, as bad as you just hurt me, you’re the only person I want to talk to right now.” I whimpered.

He dipped his head, avoiding my gaze as he brought his hands up to wipe his tears. His whole body was trembling, having to use all of his strength not to completely lose it.

    “Please. Just go.” I begged.

    “I’m sorry.”

10/15/84 4:36 am: I’m leaving tomorrow… Uh… the van is all packed up and we’re driving out there. You… won’t be able to call me for a few days… I know that…. You probably don’t want to talk to me anyway. But…. Just know…. I love you. Please… answer next time I call. I love you. I’ll… talk to you later. Or maybe I’ll talk to your answering machine later, who knows.

10/17/84: 4:22 pm: Hey… It’s me… again. We’re in Colorado. About halfway there. It’s beautiful here. The mountains are gorgeous. There’s snow, too. I know how much you love snow. Remember when we went skiing that one year, and I ate shit going down the hill? You laughed your ass off until you realized I was hurt.  I wish you were here too. Maybe if I hadn’t been such a dick, you would be.

10/19/84 8:49 pm: Hey, Y/N. It would be nice to hear your voice. We just got into town… This place is a shithole. Everybody here is boring as hell. There isn’t a single girl here who even compares to you. I got assigned some book that I know you really like. I don’t see how, it’s the most boring thing I’ve ever read. 11/01/84 2:36 am: It’s me. I know I haven’t called in a while, but I’m drunk as hell. I just beat my keg record. Not that you would care, you always thought beer was disgusting. I thought things here might be looking up. But… Dad… He’s been… it’s gotten worse. I really need to talk to you.

*greer albany parker (tyler blackburn fc); 23, junior, member of theta beta pi, pisces, bio med major. tbh greer is probs the biggest cry baby and most anxious mess u will ever meet, god bless his soul for making it this far. he has all of maybe 4 friends but that’s all he needs to be happy. grew up in a loving family until his mum passed away, his dad then became an alcoholic and verbal abuse soon turned to physical, the only thing they rly talked about and got along was when greer talked about military school (which he joined just to make his dad happy/follow in his footsteps) but it did nothing but give him anxiety so bad he had to be hospitalized after passing out during a drill. he ran away from cali after saving money to buy a shitty car and maybe $8 in his pocket, the sweetest most hard working boi u will ever meet who doesn’t think he deserves love and has literally ruined relationships bc of it, but if he trusts u it’s genuinely an honour. pls just love him he needs it.

jesse myrtle torrence (sam claflin fc); 23, senior, member of psi delta, gemini, law major. dumb??? actually so dumb but in the best way possible, jesse means well and is a bit of a fuckboy tbh, will hit on u 100%, but he just likes to have fun and will respect u if ur not down. he has a twin (hunter) who is legit his entire world, when his family didn’t accept her when she came out to them and banned her from seeing her gf he refused to let her run away from home on her own and they both just ditched everything, were legit homeless for 2 years and worked their asses off to save up money for community college then worked even harder to get into nyu. he’s so dramatic, literally the most dramatic person you’ll ever meet, he’ll sneeze and think he’s got some sort of tumor i swear. he’s not very good when it comes to trusting others but he’s working on it and literally wants everyone to be his friend so always feel free to slide into his dm’s.

*sherwood lance king (grant gustin fc); 21, sophomore, member of psi delta, capricorn, physics major. if you were to ask sherwood what time it was he’d probs just shrug and say ‘whatever time you want it to be, it’s a social construct’. is a true believer in all things science, loves to do random weird side projects and will probably interview you five times a week bc of them, is constantly busy and constantly trying to come up with new scientific theories and discoveries. doesn’t really get social cues and is sometimes obscenely rude without even noticing/meaning to but he’s actually a sweetheart. he loves his sister (bellamy) and lil brother (isaac) w all his heart but when it comes to his twin (chaol) it’s a little hard, chaol put everything on pause after he came back from the army (which sherwood was extremely upset by since chaol hardly said anything) to take care of their ailing mother and while sherwood wants to reach out to his twin he doesn’t know how. tbh this kinda goes for any sort of social interactions sherwood has tho, he’s painfully oblivious and can be so obnoxious it’s annoying but he’ll make a good friend once u make it clear that ur interested in actually being friends.

*ted ‘teddy’ james morgan (nick robinson fc); 18, freshman, pledge of kappa alpha lamda, aquarius, sociology major. my weird ass lil weed smokin people lovin hippie. laid back, no worries, in love with everyone, dresses and talks like he’s from the 80′s since his fave things to say are ‘wicked’ ‘bitchin’ ‘radical’ and ‘vibes’. not too long ago he was with his older brother (wyn) when they got into a car crash that ended up killing their little brother rex, and he’s still not over it and hasn’t forgiven wyn fully yet since he feels like the role of older brother has been stolen from him, but he super loves his sister (lux), basically worships the ground she walks on (was the same with wyn until this moment). studying humans cause he just wants to make peace and understand everybody, would have 1000 bf’s/gf’s at once and just let everyone love him always if he could, doesn’t really have any sense of direction with life but just knows that when he’s high he can’t be sad, so he hasn’t admitted it to himself but that’s a big reason why he smokes sm. is harmless and will love u.

Me: it's a dry cough. You're not coughing up anything lining your lungs like cancer then you should take cough syrup

Alex: do you take cough syrup for your cancer although your cough is wet? If so why?

Me: yes because i don't like coughing. I usually cough most at night or in stores lately... And so it keeps all the congestion down so when I wake up when i cough because i will then i cough up pieces of the cancer covering my lungs.

Alex: so it helps. What if my lungs are covered with dry blood will i cough it up then?

Me: nah... You need moisture in your lungs. If your lungs are covered with dry blood sure pieces can get loose but they are in the lining... And unlike cancer the COVID is meant to stay inside.

Alex: so it won't come out?

Me: tuberculosis. We didn't want it like that. So it should not. You could make it if you tried. But it would be alot of work. Like nebulizer treatments or inhalers used 24/7 ... Cough syrup will just increase your comfort, take it, its fine. It won't hurt you.

Me: yup. So keeping the virus in is more for the poops you're supposed to poop the virus out. Cough is just coughing out air. The virus of COVID is in your blood. So there's no reason to worry about taking medicine. Stay hydrated. Water and so on, it will keep you alive longer. So think about your blood evaporating.
