waow 2024 is almost dead!!! gone too soon. feels like it’s been a big year for me art-wise for many reasons, BUT. i’m making 2025 bigger.... hopefully....i’ve made some art goals for next year which i won’t explain in detail but they boil down to 1) do more studies 2) tackle my weaknesses (backgrounds, dynamic poses/angles, uhhh lots of stuff i am a one trick pony right now) 3) get into drawing comics, all of which are in preparation for 4) take my story ideas more seriously and get started on one of the many graphic novels living in my head. i have one in mind i HAVE to complete in my lifetime or i will die, but firstly i’m gonna mess around with some little standalone svanhildr comics perhaps. goat fans rejoice.

#jwcc #camp cretaceous #jurassic world: camp cretaceous #this was one of the most important plotlines for them to take the opportunity to address #and they NAILED IT #best part was that I assumed Darius would be on the opposite side of this argument #but no #darius bowman #sammy gutierrez #baryonyx #sinoceratops #maria #maria the sinoceratops #on the one hand there's Darius who has completely done a 180 on dinosaur rights now that his friend got murdered #this will be the one time in his life that he experiences this issue #and on the other hand you've got Sammy who has taken care of enough animals and found enough critters in traps that she just understands #and I love that it's Sammy the Sensible and Darius the Academic Idealist who now have their roles flipped #Sammy is a working girl #she's seen a lot and she's done a lot #and darius is...well...a gamer #but here they are on opposite sides of what you'd expect and it's brilliant #meanwhile Brooklynn is thriving

It still really gets me how sincere Andy’s grief over his potential child is. At first you think, oh this is just a weird flight of fancy for him, the idea of having a kid sounds fun but he’s not serious, but over the course of the episode you realise that, no, Andy actually wants children. It exposes something raw and depressing and lovely at Andy’s core and it just hits, how sad he is about what addiction took from him, the years and the growth and a potential life, but the hope that exists in knowing he’s getting better. Andy isn’t ready to be a father right now and it’s good for them both that Teresa chose to have an abortion, but maybe, some day when he’s ready, Andy will get to have a baby with someone who loves him.

I didn't really watch too much TV as a young kid? I liked to mess around with my kit or go fuck around in the forests, for the most part. I started watching stuff more in highschool and college.

Some stuff I enjoy, or enjoyed, off the top of my head- Batman: The Animated Series, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Buffy the Vampire Slayer... There are definitely more things that I watched, but I'm not sure what all I really stand by enjoying... sometimes, you just watch something because it's so weird it fascinates you, ya know?
