Comic lover! Lloyd invites shoujo lover! (y/n) to Doomsday Comix to read the next volume of the new Starfairer comics. 

You go for the new releases of romance manga; you both happily sit together in the aisles as you read quietly enjoying the silent company that you both desperately needed from the countless missions you both are called on. 

Lloyd doesn’t mind your different interests; he likes how you ask if you could read with him. He was happy at how open you were to other genres of reading; in return he’d read any recommendations that you give him.

Your overly imaginative mind would dance with scenarios of you and Lloyd experiencing half of the love stories you read. Those moments when you are alone, you’d play lovecore music on your radio just to enhance your scenarios as you read along the panels imagining you and him together.

You knew you liked Lloyd when you were younger, when you both grew up from the Tomorrow’s Tea your love for him only grew. 

But you put your feelings on hold so that Lloyd can focus on his prophecy, you knew he was dealing with a lot so confessing might not be the best of idea. Advised by Nya who you told your feelings to when it got to be too much to hold in. 

So, you two remain friends as you hide your feelings, you slide your fingers along the spine of the pastel-colored books choosing one last book before leaving back to the Monastery for dinner.

You gasp as you take a book from the shelf flipping it to its back as you hold in a squeal, Sailor V volume 2!! Finding it in shops was hell, you were starting to cave in to buying it online. 

Your smile grows as you move your head to try and find Lloyd to share your excitement, moving from the romance aisle to find the blond. Finding him in the Starfairer section not having moved from his spot as he had a new issue in his hand. 

You happily skip over to him until you feel a hand on your wrist, you jump in shock as you turn around to see a guy your age. You don’t hide your cringe as you huff, it was happening again,

Since your change you’ve noticed how guys would at times come up to you and compliment your looks, it was harmless at first, even making you flustered.  But then it started getting a bit much, some of the flirting turning inappropriate. Pushing for a date even after clear refusal, you bring this up to Nya, who says it’s unfortunately normal for some girls your age to get hit on. She says it’s nothing to worry about when it is harmless giving the advice of saying “thank you” and move on, she then informs of when it isn’t giving advice on what to do.

However, as it keeps happening you find it harder to speak up for yourself, ironic how you can take on armies of serpentine. Come face to face with the Great Devourer, and Lord Garmadon, ghosts a genie and countless other enemies but you can’t tell a powerless guy to buzz off. 

“Hey girl, I just wanted to say how cute you are~” his hand kept on your wrist as you shift your weight to your other foot as you try slipping your hand away. You put on a polite smile, “oh, thanks, I appreciate that” the guy’s hand was still on you.

“Woah there, what’s the rush, pretty girl. Lemme keep looking at you~” you hum in annoyance as you gave a face of wanting him to go, “uhm, n-no thanks, I’m busy right now” you spoke quickly as your stomach starts to knot and hands start to shake. 

The guy in front pay’s no mind as he tries to pull you closer, “c’mon babe, how about this? You come with me, and I show you a good time if you catch my drift~” he winks as you cringe, the guy starts walking with you as you look back to find Lloyd gone.

You start freaking out as you try planting your feet to the ground however his grip tightens, “c’mon, don’t embarrass me you-“ “I think you already accomplished that on your own.” You look over to see Lloyd beside you with his arms crossed his brows connected in a scowl.

The guy in front of you scoffs as his grip tightens hurting you, “dude, back off I called dibs” wow, this guy is a piece of work.

“Excuse me?” Lloyd leans into him as his glare turns threatening, his red eyes shining as he squints at the guy daring him to say it again. 

Okay now it’s time to think of something, you desperately look for something, anything to help you out of the situation. Catching a glimpse of the romance section you thought of an idea from a cover of a book, you act fast as you rip from the guy’s grip.

Lloyd’s shocked expression was evident as you shoved your form into his, wrapping your arms around his torso in a possessive manner blush on your cheeks as you glare at the guy. 

You swallow hard as you commit to the role that you decided to play finally speaking, “h-he’s, my boyfriend! And we’re onna date!” your voice squeaks as the patrons from the shop looks your way embarrassing you even more.

The guy seemed to feel the same way as he looks to the people’s eyes, shoving his hands in his pocket he kicks the ground in frustration, “whatever, you’re annoying anyways, hope you enjoy each other” he rolls his eyes as he shoves his way from the crowd.

Both you and Lloyd stare at the door that the guy walked out from, the crowd soon dispersed as you look to each other. Your faces pink as you look away finally letting go and looking down at the floor, 

“s-sorry-“

“D-don’t worr-“ you both jump at Lloyd’s phone ringing. He struggles to get it out of his pocket, almost dropping it, 

You start moving your foot on the carpet as you awkwardly wait for Lloyd to finish up his phone call, you hear a button assuming he had hung up as you look to Lloyd. “That was Zane saying, dinner was ready, we better head back” Lloyd smiles as you follow him out the door.

There was silence for a couple of blocks before Lloyd breaks it, “so, what was that about?” You look down at your hands as you begin to feel on edge again, “it was nothing, just some guy” you answer as he continues. “Did you know him?” You gave Lloyd an unamused look making him chuckle, “that answers it then.”

You sigh as you two keep walking, “I know none of the guys that walk up to me, yet they seemed to think they do when they call me all these names and try to ask me onna date.” You cross your arms in a huff,

“Woah, wait-what?” Lloyd looks to you flabbergasted having not known that this was a regular thing for you. It made you cringe as you hadn’t meant to say all that, not wanting to worry Lloyd or your brothers you kept this secret. Only confiding in Nya to get some girl advice,

But now Lloyd knows, and he didn’t look happy, “why didn’t you tell us, me?” he looks to your ashamed face trying to make yourself smaller to avoid the conversation.

“I told Nya” you mumble, you knew he could hear you as Lloyd sighs, he looked like a disappointed parent, “I’m sorry” you look away unable to face him as Lloyd looks to you feeling bad for making you feel like you had a apologize to him.

Placing a hand on your head as he glides his hand through your hair affectionately, “you don’t have to apologize, (y/n), especially for this.” Tears start to collect as you hug Lloyd, he pauses for a moment as his heart spikes, he soon shoves his feelings down and hugs you back rubbing your back. 

Lloyd smiles as you look up to him feeling better, you pull away, but your hands stay connected noticing you gush silently. “That was good thinking, telling him I was your boyfriend” Lloyd grins as you blush, likely teasing you bringing back his playful nature. “Whaat? I was rushing to think of something!” you playfully whine as you shove him with your shoulder. 

“No, it was good, the guy really bought it” Lloyd smiles as you smile as well with him, you look to the building to your side as your smile drops. “I was so nervous, I thought you were going to fight him” “I was” Lloyd responds quickly with zero hesitation as you look at him with a shocked expression. 

“Lloyd!” You scold him as Lloyd rolls his eyes, “he totally deserves it anyways, he was a jerk” you huff, “your stronger than him he’s just some guy, what if it went bad and you got in trouble?” you reason with him, you’d feel devastated if Lloyd got in trouble for protecting you.

Lloyd huffs stubbornly as he looks to you, “I don’t care, he hurt you, (y/n)” he points to your wrist a red mark slowly making its way on your body. Not enough to bruise but you knew you would feel it tomorrow. “Still Lloyd, you’re a hero, don’t get in trouble for my sake.” Lloyd looked offended, “don’t talk like you don’t matter (y/n), I will always defend you because your worth the trouble, you’re not just someone you’re my friend.”

The ’friend’ stung you but you appreciated his words feeling Lloyd’s grip tighten it was comforting unlike the guy that grabbed you, “so yea, (y/n), when I see you in trouble or someone talk bad about you, ‘m gonna do everything in my power to protect you.” 

Lloyd stops as you do the same forcing you to look at him, he had a smile as he cups your cheek, something new that made your heart flutter. “You understand?” you stare at him as you swallow hard finding the words, “yea, I do.” You smile as he mirrors yours.

He continues walking with you until you stop making him raise a brow, you then start running in the opposite direction, “Hey! Where are you going?!” Lloyd calls as you look behind still running. “I’ll meet you at home, oki? Save me a plate!” you wink as you continue your track. 

Lloyd stares as you soon leave from his field of vision, his face contorts into confusion at your crypted sentence. He sighs, an amused smile on his face as he starts his walk again fueled by hunger to question you anymore.

Lloyd soon arrives telling the others of your disappearance saying that you’ll be back. That was enough to get the rest to eat as Lloyd makes your plate along with his own.

You arrive a little later as you huffed inside sweating stopping to your room before coming to the table to eat. “fwhere fwr you?” Kai asks as he shovels food in his mouth, “eat more talk less, Kai” Nya rolls her eyes as she takes another bite. 

You giggle as you go to take your regular seat next to Lloyd, he looks to you with food in his mouth as he slides you a plate covered in plastic wrap. You gasp excitedly as you clap your hands unwrapping the plate happily, it was still warm.

“Thank you, Lloyd~” you ruffle his hair as he looks at you, much like when he looks to his mom when she displays affection to him, embarrassed. Everyone chuckles at you display of affection as you start to eat thanking Zane for the food.

“So, where were you?” Lloyd asks having finished the food in his mouth, looking to you the rest wondering as well as you were never late for any meals. Especially made by Zane. Even master Wu looked curiously as he peaked an eye open.

You look away, “oh y’know, just wanted to get something before they ran out in stock~” you wave off the questions as Kai laughs, “probably one of your cute kawaii, Tokyo Mew Mew books” Kai teases as he stuffs food into his mouth much to Nya’s disgust. You gasp offended as you point your chop sticks at Kai, “take that back you hair gel abuser!” you defended your love as master Wu looks to you, “(y/n), chopsticks” you suddenly remember with an oh as you place them down. Kai’s shocked expression at your insult made you laugh, “that’s all you read (y/n), you should broaden your horizon” Kai wags a finger playfully as you snicker, “oh hoho, you mean like your ecchi~” you grinned like a cat blushing as you had the unfortunate encounter of his stash under his bed when you were little.

The table erupts with laughter as Kai’s face turns red, “wh-who told you about that?!” Kai shouts as you laugh harder it was starting to hurt your back. Kai chuckles threateningly taking advantage of your distracted form as his hand mushes the food on his plate.

“Haha, Kai-yo-Ack!!” You instantly fall back as mush from Kai’s plate lands on your face. “That’s it, you perv!” you grin as you grab your own throwing it at him causing the entire table to throw food at each other thanks to a chain reaction. 

Zane sighs as he smiles, master Wu had left a little bit ago quietly, the giggles kept coming as you guys continue to goof off.

Later that night you finished cleaning the kitchen with Kai, masters’ orders, when you both finished you stuck your tongues out at each other before going your separate ways. 

You stop at your room walking over to your desk to switch on your desk lamp.  looking to your chair you grab a bag that rested on the back of it, you open it and pulled out a Starfairer issue that you saw Lloyd reading. You wanted to give it to him as a gift for saving you today, as you knew he probably didn’t get to finish it. 

“Hey” you jump at a voice behind you turning quickly to see Lloyd at your door, a tight fitted black shirt and green plaid pajama pants, oh my goodness that shirt was not helping subdue your feelings for Lloyd at all. Seeing his muscle protrude from inside the shirt, 

“Oh, hey” was all you could say in the moment as you tear your eyes away from his form. You smile as you hide the comic behind you. The lamp light on your desk wasn’t enough to light up the entire room, but it was enough to see your blushing face.

Lloyd smiles as he walks over his back leaning against your desk with his hands holding him up the muscles on his arms showing clear veins run up his forarms.

Forgive me FSM for staring. You force yourself to look away as you chuckle, “uhm, I wanna thank you for helping me today.” You smile as you finally face him, Lloyd held a confused look his smile stays strong, “you don’t have to thank me, I’ll continue to help you out no matter what” you look down bathing in his words as your cheeks turned pink. 

You knew how oblivious Lloyd was of your feeling, however, every time he spoke to you with such care you can’t help but feel like,

Does he only view you as a friend?

You contemplate for a second before shaking your head, no, you had to keep your promise. When everything calms down, then you will tell him your feelings.

But when will that time be? How long can you conceal your feelings?

You look up to find Lloyd had gotten closer to you, you squeak as you took a step back his hand on your forehead. “Are you okay? Your face is red?” you squeak as back away completely flustered. 

“N-no, I-I’m fine really!” your voice squeaks higher as you force your hands in front with the comic in hand, “th-this is for you! I know you didn’t finish it so I bought it so you could!” you look down unable to face him too embarrassed that he’ll see your face.

“Aw, (y/n), thanks! You’re right, I didn’t get to finish it!” Lloyd smiles as he takes the comic completely dismissing your nervous exterior. You hum as he takes your gift, still looking anywhere but him. You fiddle with the ends of your shirt as Lloyd looks at the cover with excitement. 

“W-well, it’s been one busy day, so I should go to bed, see ya on the training mat tomorrow!” you start pushing him out as Lloyd looks back confused. “What, but it’s only 7:30?” Lloyd looks to your digital clock not moving his feet as you huffed, “well y’know Lloyd, early bird gets the worm~” you wink as you finally got him on the other side of the door. Before you could close it though something came into your mind as you look to Lloyd’s confused face.

You lean over and kiss his cheek; it was quick and looked more like a greeting cheek kiss if anything. But your actions made your face explode and seeing that Lloyd’s did the same made you smile like crazy. 

“Yelp! S-see you tomorrow!” and with that you shove the door closed. 

You stand on the other side in a starfish position blocking the door, why did you do that? You place your hand on your lips as you thought about Lloyd’s expression, the accusing thoughts moved to the back of your mind as you started hopping around your room fangirling at your sudden courage and Lloyd’s cute face. 

You fall onto your bed as your heart pounded, it felt like it was dancing along with you. You never felt so happy, as you wiggle in your bed rolling around. You finally rest as your legs were the only thing moving as you swung them back and forth. You were so happy.

Lloyd walks into the gaming room where he could hear curses and his brothers argue with each other, “left hook, LEFT HOOK!” Jay shouts as Lloyd sees him swing the controls in both hands. Cole laughs as he kept his composure, he leaned forward his elbows on his knees.

Kai was the one to notice Lloyd as he silently waves him over, “what’s up” he asks as Lloyd sits next to him. “I-I think, I like someone.” Lloyd finally spoke as he places his hand on his cheek feeling the ghost kiss you left him.

Kai’s jaw drops as Cole pauses the game making Jay groan likely not hearing Lloyd, “woah what, y’gotta crush?!” Cole smiles as Jay snaps his head over his attention finally caught, “for real! Who?” Jay smiles as well leaning over Cole.

Lloyd blushes as he scratches the back of his neck, “(y/n).” the boys gasp as they excitedly look to one another, Cole and Jay then put their hands out in front of Kai making a beckoning motion as Kai scoffs fishing in his pocket pulling two fives. 

“Wha- you betted on that?!” Lloyd looked dumbfounded as Kai rolls his eyes, “yea, and I lost” Kai then waves them off as he continues with Lloyd. “So, how’d it happen, when did you realize?”

“Are you gonna confess?” Jay chimes in as Kai nods his head quickly. Cole just sat as he listened in as well.

“What are you all talking about?” Zane pops into the room as Lloyd thanks the first spinjitsu master for his interruption, “noth-“ “Lloyd hasa crush on (y/n)!” Jay shouts as the rest shush him harshly. 

“Look I’ll tell you just, don’t be weird” Lloyd huffs as they nod their heads, huddling up together like kids ready to hear their grandfathers’ stories. 

After Lloyd explains, the guy’s smile, “aww, that’s so cute” Jay gushes as Kai pats Lloyd’s shoulder. “It’s alright Lloyd you got, four amazing wingmen to help you~” Kai smirks as the boy’s chuckle nodding. “Yea, we’re here to help you man” Cole shrugs as he agrees with Kai.

Lloyd blushes as he looks away, “thanks guys, but don’t do anything dumb” Lloyd threatens as he points his index at them. 

Lloyd had feelings for you since you two were kids, being stubborn he’d always run away from you. Screaming he hated you because you were a girl. As he got to know you more when he joined the team, he started to like you, as you were always with him playing games with him and training alongside him.

After the Tomorrow’s tea incident his feelings grew for you, as he would invite you to come with him on book hunts. Saying it was a benefit for you to get new manga and for him to get the next issue.

But he knew what he wanted, Lloyd just wanted to be close to you, sharing your common interests in reading and have none stop discussions about plots that had you both excited for the next volume or issue. But now his brothers were involved as they talked amongst themselves of how to push you two together. 

He didn't want to loose you as a friend.

But he can't stand just seeing you as a friend, he wants more.

Lloyd sighs as he looks to the guys with a defeated look a smile then finds his lips as he once again presses a hand on his cheek of where you kissed him. Staring at the comic you gifted him for saving you. 

He hoped that getting his brothers involved won’t be a bad idea. Because he really likes you.

Boyfriend? He liked it when you called him your boyfriend….

Okii so I always liked the idea of reader being in love with Lloyd,٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و being a romantic and having interest in shoujo manga while he likes old school comics. I thought it was a cute dynamic and how they would talk to each other. Bcs oml Lloyd is a talker and I think their conversations would be so cute as they would geek out together. ૮⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝ ა But when I wrote it I didn't like how short it was so I added a shortishhh protective plot in the beginning.... idk if I like iiit but maybe someone can give me advice idk haha...✿ But I hope you guys like it bcs I really like the concept maybe I'll revisit it for my scenarios.ᯓᡣ𐭩

Pandoras box (Tsu'tey x reader)

you are an artist who came to draw and record the flora and animals on pandora after your sister gets sick you are taken under the wing of the next chief of the omaticaya tribe.

this series is hopefully the beginning of many more when more movies come out. the reader is actually my own oc just with a name change. i haven't sene the second movie yet but I am very excited to see it with my boyfriend. no beta-read we die like men but did a Grammarly run through.

When the ship landed on Pandora I walked alongside a man I met on the ship, Jake. He was an ex-marine and was here to replace his brother who had been murdered by a man with a gun. I was no fighter or scientist like the others here, I was an artist. My sister was a scientist here and she had gotten into an accident that had put her out of commission since my DNA matched hers just enough they pulled me in to use her avatar, a pretty similar story to Jake except well Paige was still alive. The number of armed men and women around me was astounding and intimidating but my eyes were drawn to the huge arrows that were jammed into the wheels of a wheel loader that passed in front of us. The colors were unique with yellows and blues, an interesting combination. Jake and I were guided into the building where we were ushered to the safety meeting and after that ushered to different areas. So I found myself in Paige’s room she was hooked up to all kinds of machines that were helping her stay alive and she had deep circles under her eyes. 

"You look like shit" I spoke aloud as a threw my backpack onto a chair. She snorted at me before wincing in pain.

"No shit. I feel like shit." She wheezed out to me, I walked to her side and placed a hand on hers. "Listen, kid pandora is a beautiful place but it's still dangerous when you get out there you listen to grace okay? I know you aren't ready for this but they need you to help with this mission. Your drawing skills are going to take you deep into the forest to find plants and animals. You are going to be their eyes you've got to prove that the life out there is worth something to these corporate assholes okay?" 

I nodded in the affirmative, eyeing my sister with concern. A nurse came in and said I was needed in the science bay to test my avatar. Grace was eyeing me up and down, she had not talked to me as severely as she had Jake but it was clear I wasn't what she wanted. 

"An artist and an ex-marine when I need two scientists who studied for years to be here. Just great." She growled as she helped us get hooked up into our coffins like machines. "Just listen to the smart people and maybe I can keep you alive. Just clear your mind and relax got it, Picasso?"

I gulped and nodded again, grace was intimidating. The lid shut, sealing me in darkness with a light blue hue around me, I steady my breathing as I stared up trying to keep myself from panicking. My eyes fluttered shut as I took deep breaths which smoothed out almost like I was falling asleep. I jolted awake. I could hear more, smell more, feel more. The scientists above me spoke as they were checking my reactions and smiling at me as I became responsive. 

"Morning guys" my voice was like I hadn't spoken in days. A racket started to come from Jake's table I turned my head to see Jake ripping off the wires attached to his avatar body. "Jake? Hey, you should probably sit back- you can walk!" I looked in amazement at his legs and smiled at him. The scientist were getting things to sedate him but he was already out the door, norm and I were forced to catch up with him. Norm was shouting about us not supposed to be running but u couldn't help it. The colors around me were so much more vibrant and seemed to almost pulse with beauty to me. The smells around me were new and alluring I found myself running alongside Jake as we skidded to a stop in the garden. I admired the purple fruit growing from the vines.

"Hey, Picasso and marine. Good to see you are up and functioning well. Your motor function seems at the tip-top." Grace's voice came from her gorgeous avatar, I smiled at her. 

"Everything is amazing grace" I spoke with a gleeful tone. She nodded at me in agreement as she tossed Jake a fruit that he caught and began to eat. 

"Come on let's go eat." She tossed me a large sketching pad with some pencils. "Your sister said you'd need one of those." 

And the first night in my avatar body went over without a hitch. Soon after a morning of relaxing, we got our first mission. Norm and grace needed samples, Jake was there to guard, and I was there to sketch out and flora I found. I sat in my avatar body looking out of the chopper as we were in flight my pack full of my art supplies and some rations if I got hungry. Jake rested a hand on my shoulder 

"Nervous?" He had to speak loudly due to the noise. I nodded a bit 

"A little" I looked at him the placement of his white freckles were pretty to me. "You nervous marine?" I teased him a bit and he huffed at me. 

"Not at all" He shook his head as I laughed at him. I looked at my sketchpad and tore out a piece of paper handing it to him. 

"Here I drew it on my first night here. You are a good muse when you aren't looking." The paper had a charcoal drawing of Jake in his avatar form chatting with others at dinner.  He looked amazed as he looked over it 

"Damn you've got a real knack for this stuff huh?" He folded up the paper and put it in his pocket. "Thanks for the keepsake Picasso" 

We landed on the ground and grace lead us deep into the jungle. Once she and norm found their spot, I began to wander a bit looking for interesting flora which I found. It was shaped like a lily pad with more layers spiraling upwards. I crouched down and began to sketch it out as Jake looking bored found me sketching it up. He touched one of the plants only for it to shoot closed. He let out a surprised chuckle and I gasped in surprise before giggling setting my sketchbook in my bag as we touched more watching the shoot closed with a goofy sound. Jake touched one and it caused a domino effect to happen closing all the rest and showing us a creature, which looked like a cross between a rhinoceros and a hammerhead shark. The creature let out a bellow and stomped its foot towards us, as Jake took aim grace spoke up from the tree line. 

"No Jake don't shoot it, its skin is too tough for the bullets to pierce you'll just piss him off" She was watching with a worried look plastered on her face. 

"Well, what the fuck do I do then?" Jake whispered aggressively at her as his tail pushed me behind him. 

"Just stand your ground. Don't run or he will charge" 

The creature took more stomps towards us letting out another warning noise which Jake hissed back at placing an arm across me to protect me almost. The creature whimpered and suddenly ran off to its mother and Jake let out a slurry of curses at it but my ears picked up on something, a low growl. I slowly turned around to see a jaguar-type creature and let out a gasp hitting Jake's arm to make him realize. 

"Grace stand our ground or run?" I spoke loudly as I kept my eyes trained on the creature. 

"Definitely run!" She shouted at us and Jake took no hesitation in lifting me up and throwing me over his shoulder as he ran. The creature gave chase. Jake ducked under the roots before finally, the creature ended up snagging his bag, sending us to the ground. I rolled further from him. Jake uncapped his pack from around him and slipped out of the straps as he grabbed my hand and began draining behind him as we ran, jumping over the edge into a waterfall. Somehow his hand let go of mine and I traveled further downstream. My head bonked a rock at the bottom of the river and it all went black. 

When I came too I had been drug out of the water and it was nightfall. My pack was off of me and so was my knife. I sputtered up water as I coughed it all up out of my lungs. I looked around and my eyes fell on a strong na'vi man pulling my art supplies from my bag as his people stood around him except for the one that had a spear pointed at me though he seemed hesitant as I looked over my clothes I noticed jellyfish like seeds had landed all over me with a white glow surrounding them. The man looked over shocked before it turned to frustration as he growled something out in his native tongue. 

"Get up" He spoke gruffly as he shoved my pack to me. "Up!" He snapped again and I quickly got to my feet. 

"You speak English?" I asked in my daze and this made him more annoyed as he snapped something in his language again before he lifted my weak body onto the back of his horse as climbed on himself. I fell asleep again as he held me secure to his horse. I woke up as he threw me to the ground 

"Get up" He snarled at me as two of his guards grabbed my arms as I yelped. They drug me along through a gigantic tree where I saw Jake also being held by two other guards. 

"Jake!" I whisper shouted at him and he smiled seeing me 

"Good to see you still kicking." A woman stood before him and the man who grabbed me stood before me both looking disgruntled. The leaders came down from the spiral speaking in their languages before the woman circled us and tasted our blood. She came to the same conclusion both times it seemed. 

"What do they call you" She spoke aloud so everyone would hear. 

"Uh (y/n) (l/n)" I answered her question. She smirked a bit 

"Well (y/n) why should we keep you and jakesully alive? What is your purpose?" 

"I am an artist, I'm not a scientist or warrior like Jake. I am simply here to appreciate the beauty of your home and to try to get the Sky people to understand your home is beautiful and should not be harmed. My tribe is broken all that is left is my sister and me. Please I'm all my sister has left."

She nodded a bit at my story and gave Jake time to give his speech which all the na'vi seemed to enjoy except for the two in front of us. 

"Very well. Tsu'tey you will train the girl in the ways of our people as you found her and Neytiri will take Jake and do the same"

They both pitched a fit but knew it was already spoken. Tsu'tey eyed me before grabbing my arm and dragging me up the spiral to an area of hammocks. 

"Tomorrow you learn. Tonight we rest" He jumped into a hammock and touched the side of it and it closed around him. I slowly entered mine with a lot more fear and did the same and slowly sleep consumed me. And I awoke to Norm lightly slapping my face saying my name over and over again 

"She's back with us!" He shouted over to grace as she pulled Jake from his station. Norm eyed me as he helped me up "where were you?" 

"Their home" 

The next day was full of people looking at Jake and me. We had achieved what many of them could only hope to do so on a miracle. Paige was proud and also a little annoyed at my lack of self-preservation. Paige made me practice the names of the na'vi royalty. 

"Tsu'tey is the one who is training me. He's pretty rough but I think we can work out" 

I spoke to grace, norm was glaring at Jake they had been arguing. Norm was upset that jake with no training or knowledge was the one to get in good with the clan princess. Grace helped me into my pod and gave me a nod 

"Be careful Picasso. Tsu'tey could loose his temper on you and that would screw everything up" and she shut the lid before giving me a moment to speak. 

My eyes shut and I drifted back to my avatar body. I jolted up and Tsu'tey seemed annoyed that he had to wait. 

"Today we practice your riding skills." He stood up and began to walk away giving me yet again no time to talk. 

"Wait up!" I quickly clamored out of the hammocks. Tsu'tey whipped around, teeth bared at me. 

"No. You will do things quickly otherwise you will die and if you die my job is over." I put my hands up defensively as he snarled at me towering over me. 

"Okay okay. I understand I'll keep up" He nodded a bit grunting at me before turning around and continuing on his path. 

Eventually, grace moved us up to the floating mountains to continue our work in peace. Working with Tsu'tey was hard, Jake often said he seemed to run me harder than Neytiri ran him but I could see the change I'm myself. I had toned up, the soles of my feet were stronger and I could run faster and longer. I could shoot a clean kill but mostly I could see how proud Tsu'tey became. At first, he hated me just like he hated Jake then it turned into simple distrust and now we had a good friendship if I had to say. He still hated Jake though not much I could do to fix that. 

As I pulled the bowstring back with my arrow lined up I released a breath before letting go of it piercing my prey I quickly hopped down to finish the job whispering the prayer to my fallen prey as I stabbed it cleanly. Tsu'tey watched silently 

"Good. A good clean kill tomorrow you shall participate in Tsaheylu" He grabbed my bicep giving it a gentle squeeze of approval which made me smile at him, I saw the faintest glimpse of a smile on his cheeks before it disappeared. I walked alongside him now no longer at his back, he would hiss or growl at me before but now he welcomed it. 

"You know tsu' I think you might be warming up to me" I teased him lightly flicking his tail with my own. He scowled at me.

"Do not call me that" He huffed at me before turning his gaze back to the path. 

"You didn't deny it" I spoke with a smile and a hand pushed me to the side as he let out a "psh" noise. 

"You are annoying. Like a bug" as I was about to defend myself he continued "but you are fast and sharp like poison. You are like Kali'weya" 

I was touched by his words And bumped him with my shoulder. 

"Don't get soft on me now Tsu'tey" I teased lightly as we walked side by side back to hometree. 

"You are gonna be participating in tsaheylu tomorrow. You need to be prepared, lucky for you kid, that your sister wrote the book about tsaheylu. I suggest giving her a call" Grace spoke up as I was eating my food and I gave her a nod. I had met Tsu'tey's banshee. They were a gorgeous blue color with yellow eyes. They were rather gentle with me which seemed to surprise Tsu'tey. 

I clicked the button on the screen as my sister answered my call she gave me a weak smile to me. 

"Hey, squirt. I heard you are about to get a new friend. Let's talk" Paige explained the details of tsaheylu to me in depth to the point where my nerves were amplified but by excitement as well. As I followed Tsu'tey up the floating mountains I didn't look down once until I had to jump from one to a vine which I did rather poorly making Jake snort before he failed worse than me. The cave was beautiful. Jake and Neytiri went first and then Tsu'tey and myself followed with his other students behind us. 

We watched Jake try and find his banshee but I was watching Tsu'tey a smirk was plastered on his face as he watched Jake fail. "He is going to die trying this" he muttered to his students making them giggle his eyes caught on me as and looked at him with a glare before turning back to Jake 

"Come on soldier you can do better than that can't you!?" Jake flipped me off as he made the bond and began his flight. I was next I stepped down from the rock and grabbed my rope, walking forward the banshee hissed and would fly away til I found her. She was lavender with golden markings and grey eyes she hissed at me which was a hiss I returned she bared her teeth before trying to take a bite out of my leg which I narrowly avoided. I hopped on her back locking my legs around her snout and keeping it shut as I struggled her to the ground as Tsu'tey trained me for. She thrashed under me until I connected my braid to her neural link on the back of her head. The feeling of linking with another creature was hard to explain every time it was amazing though. 

"Fly Kali'weya. It completes the bond you must fly" Tsu'tey shouted to me from the rock and I did just that. Gliding through the air I found I was able to control her rather well and so I named her, Ome. The team took flight together once we all had our banshee as Jake and Neytiri played. I could see Tsu'teys approval in the gaze he gave me. Tsu'tey and I began to fly together from then on.

Ep. 8 "Bad Territory" Review

This episode was honestly the fluff I needed after last week's tense and crazy two parter. There was the usual action and excitement, but I loved the amount of fluff we got. Omega is forever our little ray of sunshine. I feel a bad feeling that it's going to get much darker after this week so I'll take any fluff I can get.

It was really cool to see Fennec again and it makes senes that out of all the bounty hunters, the boys would choose to seek her out. She was originally after Omega, but she's not needlessly cruel like Cad Bane. If Omega's life were truly in danger, I don't think Fennec would want to see her get hurt. Cad Bane wouldn't give a second thought about it. Speaking of the ending, I definitely think she was talking to Ventress or someone like Quinlan. After all, Ventress is a Force-wielder and could be connected to whatever Hemlock is doing.

Overall, I really liked the interactions between her, Hunter, and Wrecker. Their banter was great and the joke about the Batch being straight up broke had me cackling. Like yes, these 5 guys with a kid are clearly enjoying Space Greece or whatever the fandom calls it. They're not gonna be looking for jobs right now. I also enjoyed seeing the boys use their skills like Wrecker's demolitions knowledge again. It's been so, so long since we've seen the boys go on a classic mission. That's not a bad thing either to have an "adventure of the week" style episode. It was cool to see them back in action (you know, non lethally).

The environment looked great, Wrecker and Hunter throwing hands with gators was pretty epic, and the final fight with the other bounty hunter (?) was exciting. I'll admit, the antagonist's design was cool and it allowed from some fun fight choreography.

Shoutout to the Phee cameo btw! Love seeing her as always. I think she'll be back after the Pabu invasion or she'll be back in time for that event to happen. Crosshair not knowing who she or Fennec was though was pretty funny. He's missed so much. (Also, this is the first time we hear him call Echo by his name fun fact).

Of course, Crosshair and Omega were the standouts because their dynamic is just that good. They're finally getting Crosshair's hand addressed! And I'm so glad Hunter stepped up to make sure it got looked at. Hunter loves Crosshair despite the past and he will look out for him. As many of us thought already, Crosshair's tremors are psychosomatic. We don't what happened on Tantiss (aside from some vague details), but whatever it was, it was bad; real bad. Crosshair is afraid of talking about it because it hurts. His reactions to even thinking about it were heartbreaking.

My theory is that Hemlock did something that broke a part of his identity. Maybe the identity erasure almost worked. Maybe he had Crosshair kill someone during a trial session to see if the reconditioning worked. Whatever it was, it traumatized Crosshair (on top of everything else he went through). For Crosshair to move forward, he's going to have to confront his trauma. He'll need to accept what happened to him and learn that it doesn't define who he is now.

Omega is so gentle and patient with him; I absolutely love it. She doesn't push him nor does she just leave him to get trapped in his mind. Instead, she tries to teach him coping mechanisms. The way he trusts her is so good too. Crosshair doesn't know what to do, but here is sister whom he loves. She's never left his side since they were imprisoned together and she was the only one who really advocated for him back in season 1. This girl loves him and he loves her. The scene where she holds his hand because it won't stop trembling genuinely means so much to me. It's such a small gesture that means so much. I really do appreciate that the writers are taking their time to show Crosshair going through the healing process. His hand doesn't get magically fixed because he escaped Tantiss nor because he redeemed himself. He achieved that. Now, he needs to finish the rest of his journey. AZI even mentions that it could be permanent. Real life mental health issues don't disappear in one night nor do they go away permanently. It comes and goes and that's what Crosshair will have to do. He'll have to cope with his trauma and hopefully the tremor will steady over time.

Many have pointed it out, but I would love to see a scene with him and Echo. Echo understands Crosshair's plight as he too was held captive and subjected to horrific experiments. I hope we get a scene between them where Echo comforts him. It would be a nice moment between two characters who often don't interact much.

Aside from that, the animation and music were great as always. That last scene of Cross and Omega meditating while Pabu's sun begins to set is truly gorgeous and it might be my favorite landscape shot of the show. It's also reminiscent of Hunter and Crosshair together on Barton IV. I am truly so happy to see Crosshair finding peace and happiness after so long. I honestly never thought we'd see him like this. But now, we do. (Side note: he looks so much smaller and vulnerable without his backpack or shoulder pads).

Anyways, I could go on and on about Crosshair. But I'll save that for another post. Can't wait for next week and hopefully we'll see Ventress!

Inquisitor Lavellan completely snuck up on me last night. I had no idea when she'd be coming. When Morrigan said the thing about someone needing anonymity, I immediately was like, idk which cameo will this be?? And it was Sene! I stood up from my seat. She looks...more tired than she did in the character creator lol. Also, something about the jawlines in this game. They default as quite severe in my opinion, and it has taken me quite a while to get it right with my Rook. But it's okay. She still looks like Sene, who is pretty and sharp-jawed and always a little hungry lol, and she has freckles and curly red hair, and she seems oddly hopeful, which is all I can ask for. I'm so glad she's okay 😭 And also, using the Inquisition to keep control of the south is exactly what I imagine for her. She should be taller tho lol.

I am liking Veilguard! It felt really fast to me at first, like no time to breathe, but making it through the recruitment stage has slowed things down immensely. I feel the combat is hugely improved over Inquisition, as are the companion quests, which feel very taut with emotional tension and strain. Everyone is dealing with something in this difficult world. Dragon Age has always been very good at investigating the human toll of major wartime scenarios. Veilguard is, imho, better than Inquisition in this respect (at least so far). The settings, particularly in aftermath situations, are violent and filled with grief and loss and extreme danger. I feel immensely sad walking through them, and they're so rich. I love petting the dogs and cats!! Tho I do miss Haven as a home base. I don't think anything will ever top Haven for me.

My only complaint is that I thought I'd be seeing more of Solas. I'm like, hi, I need him!!!! Bring him to me!!!!!!! Also, I wish I'd have been able to see my Rook's origin and how she met Varric. I can live without it but I sometimes worry I don't fully get where she's coming from, even as we learn so much about her new friends. I am going on Varric's word alone which is probably enough.

Anyway I only just met my Lavellan. So please don't spoil anything for me as I'm already trying hard af not to rush through this, because I literally am just always like, head on a swivel, "Okay so when can I see Solas again?????" lol

DND Recap: Bread Heist

aka the Pets session where we play as our pets + Sue!

The party leaves the Nap Sack to head back to Rosepeak to finish their quest. Sue is left in charge.

Beezlebub ditches Sue. Sue is follows, and loses him and comes across Radiance. Lanwel’s pet. She offers him to come with.

Paul sticks his head out of a door and “MOOOOO-” and Sue gets jumpscared. Almost everyone is in the kitchen

The Jungle Chompers are fighting over a bone which goes flying away as they're wrestling. Long Boi stole the bone and put it on top of the fridge. The bone vanishes and iventually Frost uninvisibles herself.

Radiance uses a grappling hook to try to restrain one of the raptors. Succeeds with rollies. Radiance is riding Ricky.

Suddenly a door materializes.

Templeton slowly makes his way into the kitchen “WHAT FAH MAE- I senes so magic-” (5 foot walking speed) The door opens. We are told to roll a wisdom save. Everyone fails except for my pets and Sue. Templeton can't smell. Everyone smells the most delicious freshly baked bread.

Radiance goes “HYAH!” and takes off on Ricky.

It looks like Russia. But it’s different but it isn’t rebuilt. This is how it used to look. Before Betty White attacked

Sue does not notice this. Templeton recognized this. He is a very old construct. Sha'Carri is the one who got him up and running.

Templeton: *sad* It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this... Sue: How long? Templeton: About 24 years...

She calls them all back. “I need you all to stick by me. "

We are told to roll perception. The door is gone and there is a note: All you have to do is steal some bread.

Templeton: What's a bread? Frost: Is this bread? *holds up rock* Random kid: Are you a stranger? Sue: Oh hey kid.

"I’ve never seen anyone like you around here. Never mind gotta go!” And the kid books it. Frost is in pursuit. Predator instincts kick in.

We’ve traveled back in time to pre the Betty White attack in Russia.

Paul allows Sue to mount him and he’s got 35 miles per hour Zippy has hopped onto Templeton and uses electricity to make Templeton have a 30 foot movement speed.

The child is cornered. Paul drifts into the alley, bowling the guards over. 

The child says his name is David. 

“Why did you runs from the guards.’ “I stole a bunch of bread” *pours out 50 loaves of bread.* Sue eats a bit of bread. It is the best bread shes ever eaten. In her life. It’s like those kings hawaiian rolls with the crunch of sourdough. (that sounds so good) “Now you can see why I was trying to steal it.”

Sue: *returning some of the bread to the bakery* Paul: *steals an apple cobbler* Baker: *looking a templeton* I’m pretty sure I saw you blown up on the side of the road- WHAT IS YOUR BISON DOING- Paul: *nat 20 on deception with a face covered in apple cobbler* MOO? Baker: oh sorry- Paul: *moos in the indignity* *basically everyone is stealing bread*

And we’re off to steal from the royal bakery Paul stays outside as the getaway vehicle. *click click* moo

Bob’s pets are with Sue and David going through the sewer.

The rest are sneaking through the front door.

Sue has Templeton on her back to get him up the ladder.

And we see a big hallway.

Meanwhile with the others

The jungle chompers have to roll a wisdom save. 9. They all smell the same thing. They smell a much younger Truk. In his infancy.

Ricky looks at Alfie and Bob and goes “GO GO GO-”

Radiance rolls strength. The chompers roll strength. 3. -2. Radiance wins. Radiance uses the grappling hook to basically turn them into a pod racer.

Cassiandris is on a date with one of the royal bakers

Back to the others. Long Boi is using firebolt to evaporate any water so Templeton doesn’t rust. Long Boi sneezes to cast firebolt Long Boi is very tsundere.

The door to the bread is locked. It shouldn’t be locked. It has a small writing on it “Alfonse Redfeather” Alfie made this door. Zippy uses a shock of electricity to disrupt the magic. “THAT BIRD NEVER LET ME IN HERE!” “How do you know Alfie!” "No reason..." *sus check* “FINE. I work here in the castle. I work here to keep the place clean. My name’s thomas. How are you going to deal with the silent alarm?” “THE WHAT-” "The bird installed a magical alarm so people couldn't steal."

Alfie has no problem with people needing food. He was very poor growing up and understands living in poverty. His issue is people not asking for help and he thinks that the stigma against the poor an homeless is stupid. If you ask he let you have some bread.

Thomas lifts a panel and we land in the fighting colosseum And we don’t sense any humanoids around.

Meanwhile with candle and reptiles.

Radiance gets a 11 on strength and the chompers get a -2

Radiance does not let go. The 2 jungle chompers snape the rope and run to Truk’s childhood room. Ricky follows close behind. They smell Truk coming from a crib.

No wonder Truk was drawn to the jungle chompers. He remembers them from before.

Back to the colosseum. Surrounded by rats Beelzebub shape shifts into a rat

Rat: Can we eat them? Are they tasty? Beelzebub: No they aren’t Rat: I don’t care. I just need meat. YOUR MEAT. Beelzebub: I’m one of you guys *17 on deception*

Rat: Welcome to the family

*rolls a vibe check* “The vibes are off. They’re just a little weird.”

The rats pile into a big pile. Into a mega rat and push a panel. There is a spiral staircase leading up.

“Careful though. There’s no railing”

And they ascend.

The Junglechompers are protecting baby Truk. And Truk’s mom, Samantha, has come to check on baby Truk and sees all these tiny dinosaurs in her son’s bed. And she freezes. They’re all cuddled up to Truk. Frost sees that person and stares and telepathically says “Hi” and slowly approaches.

Ricky: Oh. So you’re his mother! Samantha: Oh you talk-

Baby truk is in a Goblin Shark onesie. Samantha unsheathes the rapier.

Samantha rushes over to try to grab Truk Radiance tries to grab the raptors. Ricky jumps out of the crib. Samantha has baby Truk in one arm.

Frost: Who you- Samantha: I am his mother. Who are you? Frost: Friend. Samantha’s passive insight is 30.

Radiance points at the clock and does a ticking forward motion. “Follow me. We’re going to take you to someone.”

Bragar and Zara see Sue. Bragar pulls out his warhammer. Bragar: Who are you! Sue: I’m a servant! Bragar: Bullshit.

Bragar stops in his track> Sue: I’m from the future- Bragar: I mean you talked about it.

Zara: I mean it’s possible. But not many can do it.

Meanwhile at the castle entrance: Alfie: *building new gates* hang on *sniffs air* I smell more time travel Bullshit. What happened in the future now? Back in Zara’s quarters: Sue: *anxiety spitballing* Zara: She’s telling the truth. *spots Templeton* HOW ARE YOU BACK TO NORMAL- I SAW YOU EXPLODED- Templeton: time travel bullshit.

Zara pulls out a Nokia trying to call the doctor from Doctor who. I roll a d12 David Tennanant’s Doctor shows up

9: Time travel is my favorite! Zara: Shut up. Paul: *pokes his head out of the Tardis* Moo

Paul was the doctor’s companion before being Miss Houdini’s friend

Zara: So how did you get in the castle. Sue: there was this boy. Zara: About this big and annoying? Sue: Yes. Zara: That was Thozall. He’s a dick.

Thomas is Thozall. Everyone freezes.

Then the tardis doors slam shut. Time stops. And there’s a woman. She apologizes for everything. The doctor has his sonic screwdriver shoved in Templeton’s mouth

The doctor gives Templeton some upgrade. He has a 30 foot movement speed and taste buds. He can eat food now!

Radiance: You guys are so fucked up.

We helped Thozall break into his own home. The fall of Russia is a fixed point in time but our pets had a hand in it.

The party has just returned from Rosepeak. End of session.

CBS Ghosts - Pilot - Library Scene - Part 1

This scene is always interesting to me for many reasons, but one of them is the fact that the ghosts go from “hey maybe it’d be nice to have life around again” to “damn it we need to get rid of them” real fast.  Another is the key elements of the group’s dynamic that is visible throughout the series.  

Spoilers may appear.

I love that Sam’s so excited about the library because (as we learned pretty much right away) she’s a writer.  Those things usually go hand in hand.  I only wish we saw more of her reading/enjoying the library. 

I really wish that we got to see more of Sam in the library and turning it into her sanctuary.

LMAO - Jay is actually somewhat amazed here. He's walked into this house and is like "hot damn" this is amazing. He's being taken in by the house and can see how much Sam loves it.

Sam is totally amazed. I love that she did research because that's the writer in her, wanting to know more, plus, I think she fell in love with the house before she ever saw it. She was gone on it since she met the lawyer.

But Also I LOVE this description of her ancestors. "Cartoon Evil Slept on a bed of gold types". - it's so great.

Okay, I love this tidbit.  You can see that Isaac and Thor are looking at Hetty as if waiting for her to confirm that (because they have probably witnessed it), while Pete’s giving her a WTF look because he wouldn’t have witnessed it.

Also, I love the “cartoon Evil” thing since when we meet Elias, he literally feels like cartoon evil - he even twirls his mustache, evilly.

I love that they establish that Flower is bisexual early on, she brings it up and a lot, and I like to think she and Trevor bonded over their openness regarding sex.  Also, knowing what we know, Thor’s side-eye is interesting.  He mentions boat rules later on, and has a crush on Flower, so he probably finds a connection there, despite not ever talking about it, but a lot can be conveyed in just his look.

Hetty, meanwhile, is looking at her like “are you serious” because despite living with Flower for 50 years, has not been opened up yet.  

This is hilarious - Hetty, why are you offended?  Clearly, you know your home has been falling apart for ages.  Isaac’s side eye is hilarious.  Like “oh here we go”.

He's totally expecting to hear Hetty complain about Jay's accurate assessment.

Also, this is why you go SEE a home before getting it because pictures are deceiving.

Aw. it’s no wonder Pete gets along so well with Sam and Jay - he’s a lot like Sam!  Obviously, Jay likes that about Sam, so it makes sene that he’d like that about Pete. I feel like this is a sign that the friendship will blossom quickly.

Side note - I like their faces of curiosity, I can't figure out what Trevor's doing though. BUT Alberta has rejoined us - why, hello.

It’s so cute that they’re coming around to enjoying the possibility of the couple living there.  Although of these four (Thor, Hetty, Pete, Isaac) it seems evenly divided on rooting / not rooting for them. Thor has turned the tide, Pete liked them from the start but Hetty/Isaac are unsure.

I love that Isaac is the most freaked out in this scene.  Everyone gasps, but Isaac is freaked out the most.  This is interesting because WHY is he so freaked out? He's lived at the mansion for 250 years, and it's not like it's been empty. There's been parties and things, sure, it's not a hotel, but it seemed that it wasn't exactly just the family that stayed at the house since Trevor says in AF that he's surprised that Alberta didn't stay there the night that she died.

So, that seems to imply other options to have visitors/sleepovers.

I love how dramatic Isaac's being right now. He grabs onto his jacket/coat. Sass is giving him a look like 'what are you so concerned about it'. Pete's just shaking his head. It's very, very dramatic.

LMAO. I love that this is Sass/Trevor running through the crowds while Hetty does whatever she's doing with the rolling and finishing with Hetty watching a couple about to have sex and calling them "libertines". Totally hilarious.

First Person Walked Through - THOR.

I do find Thor's issue with the clutter so weird. Why would he even care?

LMAO I love Hetty’s response here.  Pete’s like “My death was the worst” and she’s like “OMG man give it up” - this is even funnier when you put it with her response to Alberta “You had a heart attack - not murdered” and “not this again”.  

Also, I wonder - since Pete/Alberta are the only two to constantly bring up their deaths, if the older ghosts find that annoying?  Like are they bothered that Pete/Alberta had most specific/special deaths or just talking about their deaths in general?  Like they believe you have to let it go after a while, but Alberta’s been dead almost 95 years and Pete 40 years and yet, they always bring it up.

I may need to check, but I think Flower’s the only other one to mention her death more than once that might NOT get eye rolls from Hetty/Isaac, specifically, although others do it, too.  

I find it interesting that the YOUNGEST ghosts (bar Trevor) mention their deaths the most. Alberta because she wants to be murdered, and Pete because his is so obvious.

Flower mentions hers, but only as an introduction to various people.

I wonder if there’s a certain ghost age that you pass where you stop thinking/bringing it up if it’s irrelevant? It's very interesting and I talk about it later on, but I like it what it says.

CBS Ghosts - Pilot - Library Scene

This scene is always interesting to me for many reasons, but one of them is the fact that the ghosts go from “hey maybe it’d be nice to have life around again” to “damn it we need to get rid of them” real fast.  Another is the key elements of the group’s dynamic that is visible throughout the series.  

Specifics Below:

I love that Sam’s so excited about the library because (as we learned pretty much right away) she’s a writer.  Those things usually go hand in hand.  I only wish we saw more of her reading/enjoying the library. 

Okay, I love this tidbit.  You can see that Isaac and Thor are looking at Hetty as if waiting for her to confirm that (because they have probably witnessed it), while Pete’s giving her a WTF look because he wouldn’t have witnessed it.

Also, I love the “cartoon Evil” thing since when we meet Elias, he literally feels like cartoon evil - he even twirls his mustache, evilly.

I love that they establish that Flower is bisexual early on, she brings it up and a lot, and I like to think she and Trevor bonded over their openness regarding sex.  Also, knowing what we know, Thor’s side-eye is interesting.  He mentions boat rules later on, and has a crush on Flower, so he probably finds a connection there, despite not ever talking about it, but a lot can be conveyed in just his look.

Hetty, meanwhile, is looking at her like “are you serious” because despite living with Flower for 50 years, has not been opened up yet.  

This is hilarious - Hetty, why are you offended?  Clearly, you know your home has been falling apart for ages.  Isaac’s side eye is hilarious.  Like “oh here we go”.

Aw. it’s no wonder Pete gets along so well with Sam and Jay - he’s a lot like Sam!  Obviously, Jay likes that about Sam, so it makes sene that he’d like that about Pete.

It’s so cute that they’re coming around to enjoying the possibility of the couple living there.  Although of these four it seems evenly divided on rooting / not rooting for them.

I love that Isaac is the most freaked out in this scene.  Everyone gasps, but Isaac is freaked out the most.  Which is interesting because as of 100 years previously, Woodstone was a hotel wasn’t it?  Alberta mentions that she wasn’t allowed to stay there because of racism, and that she carried her trunk the night she preformed, so ... Doesn’t that mean, it wasn’t always just the family’s house?  Also, note for the ones below - if it was, wouldn’t Thor KNOW????

Going to pause here for a second - Thor always suggests killing them, and the funniest part isn’t that it isn’t right to kill them to Alberta, it’s that Alberta straight up says “We can’t do it - physically”.  Like they have this conversation more than once.  At least here & in Jay’s sister.  

It’s interesting because Thor & Alberta have a rather opposite sort of dynamic.  Like not rivals, but they definitely have this - can’t agree with you dynamic.  And they’re sort of the first pairing to show this dynamic.  

Also, love Pete assuming that Alberta’s objection is because it’s wrong.  It’s like he doesn’t know her at all.

OMG I love that Alberta goes into SPECIFICS of the types of deaths she’s been aware of or a part of, and Trevor and Hetty go from agreeing via nods to “WTF are you talking about?”  And Alberta shrugs and says “you hear things”.

LMAO at Hetty being “cartoon evil” per Sam earlier and then Alberta’s murders are definitely “cartoon evil”- esqe.  

Damn, Alberta.  Also, totally love the moment between Trevor and Alberta here because he doesn’t say anything, but he’s supportive until he questions where she’s getting her ideas.  Like, girl?  What did you do in life - serial killer?

I like Pete’s expression, too.  What draws him to Alberta?  Opposites attract? 

I wonder about these things Isaac says a lot.  Do we think he knows he’s into men, but trying to hide it or convince himself otherwise?  Because it seems that way here, but later on, it’s almost like he’s completely unaware and only realizing it in Thorapy.

Okay, love Isaac, but a major beef for me is that no one brings up him objectifying Jay while everyone gives Trevor crap for it whenever he says someone’s hot.

I love that it’s the “Baby” of the ghosts that comes up with this plan.  It makes sense that he would do it considering he’s watched movies like “ghost busters” and he’s probably been into scary movies in life.  

It’s interesting to me that he reminds them that “we’re ghosts, we can haunt” because I often wonder, especially as we see Trevor interact with the living world if he FORGETS that he’s a ghost at times.  

I also love the support he gets from Alberta and Hetty.  Alberta is nodding along with the idea, while Hetty seems impressed.  I do think that it’s interesting that he’s so excited about having an idea and being taken seriously.

We KNOW from later episodes that he DOESN’T get taken seriously due to his pants issues, so it’s GREAT and exciting for him to be taken seriously to the point where his idea is implemented.  

It shows a lot about the group as well.  

Okay, I love this right here.  You can see that Sass is being listened to and given that he’s the second oldest ghost, it makes sense.  He’s combating the youngest ghosts’ probably rash plan and being listened to.  It establishes a lot in the dynamics.  We see Isaac as the “commanding officer” but Sass seemingly has more authority just by the way everyone seems to listen to him.  Is it his age as a ghost?  or is it his ability to tell a great story?  Hmm-mm.

I also love that this is the SECOND pairing to establish a rivals/don’t like to agree set up from the pilot - Sass & Trevor.  Trevor comes up with an idea that Sass says feels wrong, and as we learn in LL, Sass DELIBERATELY chooses the OPPOSITE side to Trevor’s whenever he can.  

We see this especially later on in Season 1 where there are SEVERAL episodes of a brotherly dynamic, that I will get into later on, but this is the first instance and it’s in the pilot - so I LOVE it.  I do have to wonder if it’s because they’re different in many ways - Sass is reserved about sex/Trevor is open about it.  Trevor is fun loving, party bro/Sass is the quiet writer.  Ect.  

Also, I wonder how this dynamic happened given that Sass was actually impressed by Trevor knowing his secret all those years.  I want more on these two.

I really wish we got more into the opposite (not close) relationships like Sass/Trevor and Alberta/Thor.  

This is so great, we see some interesting reactions to Sass getting walked through.  

A) there’s Isaac protecting himself, hands up and all (and not trying to get Sass out of the way) - that’s another interesting dynamic while 

B) Hetty/Alberta (and Pete?) cringe away and then there’s 

C) Trevor/Flower (and Thor?) are yelling to warn Sass about Jay walking through him again.  

This is interesting to me because they all know how much it SUCKS and HURTS, and yet, those in close proximity to Sass don’t try to save him from it, and it’s two of the younger ghosts trying to warn him.  

Also WTF, when did Sam and Jay leave the scene?  The way the ghosts are standing - this would’ve already happened, no?

Rough reactions.  Trevor looks like he’s going to be sick.  Poor Sass.

Okay, they’re all pretty excited about Sass agreeing (and as the second oldest ghost if he hadn’t relented, I wonder if they wouldn’t have done it), but I love Trevor’s response the best.  Everyone is like “yay” and there’s Trevor jumping up and down like a puppy excited for a walk.

He and Alberta are having a freaking party in their little corner and I love it!

Also, interesting similar hand gestures with the older ghosts.  

Anyway, this is fun - Puppy Trevor to the rescue with a plan.

Although, I get the Ghosts being like “fuck they have to leave” after the hotel vision that Isaac gives - I have to say, hindsight is 20-20, they would’ve been so bored very quickly & probably WISHED someone lived there, BUT without the haunting, Sam wouldn’t know they exist so would that have been better?  

It’s all very interesting.

First off, I think it’s essential to start with the Finnish lesbian anthem: ”Ihmisten edessä” by Jenni Vartiainen. This song is really important for many people my age, as it was pretty much ”Baby’s first exposure to non-het relationships” to a lot of people. The song is an absolute banger, and, fun fact, was written and composed by Teemu Brunila, who is believed to be the voice behind Studio Killers’ singer Cherry. Thus it’s likely that he may even have been involved in the creation of Jenny, which is another lesbian anthem.

Then we have our UMK contestants who didn’t quite make it to the Eurovision like Benjamin who competed with the song ”Hoida Mut” in 2023, Isaac Sene who competed with the song ”Kuuma jäbä” in 2022, and Erika Vikman, who competed in 2020 with the song ”Cicciolina”. Out of these three, Hoida Mut and Kuuma jäbä make it obvious that they’re about gay relationships, while Cicciolina is open for interpretation (which may be because Erika is bisexual). Of course, there is also Saara Aalto, who competed in the Eurovision song contest in 2018 with ”Monsters”.  Out of her songs that are in Finnish, I personally like the song ”Tähdet, taivas ja sä” the most.

One of my favourite Finnish LGBTQ artists is SANNI. Some of my favourite songs by her are 2080-luvulla, Hei kevät, and Pornoo.

The singer Siiri Nordin is also LGBTQ. Her cover of the song "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart”, called ”Sydämeni osuman sai” is very lovely.

I can’t say I’m super familiar with the career of Sini Yasemin, however she is an emerging LGBTQ artist whose work is also worth looking into! Her cover of Rakkautta ja piikkilankaa (originally performed by the rock group Uniklubi) is probably a safe place to start if you want to get a grasp of her sound.

Has your OC always had the same opinion of themselves or has this changed over time? Have they learned to love themselves - perhaps with the help of others - as their journey progressed? Or have the consequences of their actions only served to erode their sense of self-worth?

She's mostly had the same opinion of herself, but there's a brief little dip in her positve view of herself starting around her pre-teen years.

Ella has always viewed herself as being Her Father's Daughter, & she sees that pretty positively as a little girl. She looks up to Daemon, she thinks he's cool & brave & admirable & she ignores all of his faults, so she's in turn ignoring her own faults. Because she's just as impatient & rash & short tempered, she's almost as petty & self destructive. That's nbd to her until the pedastle she put her dad on starts crumbling, then she gets more negative about herself. She sees their similarities & beats herself up for it every time she succumbs to their shared faults.

It takes a lot of her teen years to build herself back up to seeing "I am my father's daughter" in a positive light again. She wants to do better, but she fails a lot of the time & she thinks that's the end of the world. It isn't until her mom dies & she just fucks off to Essos for a year that she's able to be like "I am his daughter, but I'm better than him because I'm going to do good with these things." Like, she's really gotta stew in how they're similar, but how their similarities aren't copies. It's the help of her cousin, Yarwyck, & her sister-in-law's family that builds up her sene of who she is back to a decent place, & then it's her betrothed coming to find her & the time they spend one-on-one that really gets her onto her Full Self Acceptance journey. After that though? Completely owning it. Very "I am capable of being a total cunt, but I'm making the active choice not to be because I'm a good fucking person."

So yeah. We go from "I'm perfect, nothing is wrong with me & I'm JUST like my dad who's the coolest person ever," to "I'm just like my dad & I suck because I'm gonna hurt someone really bad but on purpose one day," to "I am very much like my dad & that's fine bc I'm being nice about it right now, aren't I? And isn't it great when I'm nice about it/completely jutfied?"

hey so TMS!berdly question, like.. i guess.. what's his relationship like with the other characters? mainly kris, not sure if you've posted anything about it, but i haven't sene much and im curios ^^ also i absloutley dispise his stupid [A$$] gamer tshirts. i'm gonna burn them.

I’ll be making a better post with a relationship chart (I made one before but it's a year old now...) BUT I’ll quickly talk about Berdly’s relationship with everyone here! I’ll will be talking about post chapter 2 btw!! (and a little bit of chap 2 & chap 1 if necessary)

KRIS

Kris is a little more neutral towards tms!Berdly compared to the original. This is mostly because (pretty much like everyone else) they don’t really see Berdly as a threat despite being the school’s bully. Though, again like everyone else, they think he’s annoying and weird. Berdly looks up to Kris (like how he looks up to Noelle) because they’re the 2nd smartest kid in class and is (somewhat) close to Noelle. Berdly, however, wasn’t really the nicest towards Kris and still insulted them and even attempted to bully them. Like I said before, Kris just brushes him off. Berdly, after being ignored so many times, stopped out of embarrassment. They just...kinda play games together and chill sometimes now.

SUSIE

Berdly and Susie don’t…particularly get along too well. They usually get into an argument or a yelling match with each other. Susie is also the only person Berdly could actually bully (and actually has bullied) because of how sensitive she is. Post chapter 2 Susie tries to extend an olive branch multiple times (despite the bullying, she never really hated him) and Berdly uh…kinda….reciprocates? (Barely). They’re currently in an actual “truce” with each other. (And Berdly does have a “crush” on Susie like in the original game but he still isn’t…TOO fond of her.)

NOELLE

Noelle tries to tutor/help anyone who needs it. And the person who needs it the most just so happens to be the person she finds the most annoying : Berdly. She doesn't really like him and finds him EXTREMELY annoying. She's only around him to help him with work (and also he just...follows her everywhere she goes. So she kinda doesn't have a choice.) She isn't (and...wasn't) really the nicest to Berdly. She mostly made snide comments under her breath about him. Now she just...does it out loud. To his face. (In her defense she does this with everybody...guess that doesn't change anything though huh.) She just...doesn't really...think highly of him. The same cannot be said for how Berdly feels about Noelle. He constantly praises her and tries to help whenever he can. (He does not help. He never helps.) (Berdly also had a crush on Noelle so there’s that too. It went away after chap 2 though.) He puts her on a higher pedestal compared to others and constantly compares other students to himself and her. (Which makes Noelle uncomfortable but it’s something she’s used to by now.)

TLDR : Literally everyone finds him annoying but harmless. (Despite trying to be the opposite.)

(Also don’t burn his shirts! It’s the only thing he has!! (along with his shirts that has bands on them he doesn’t listen to and like…1 or 2 “normal” shirts))

A/n: Hellloooo all, this was based off a request, "Hey, could you do a fez/ash x sister reader set in season 2 episode 1 the sene at Lauries house please?!"

I knew that it wasn't a good idea to pick Rue up on the way to the deal. I understood that we were all going to the same party after, what was supposed to be, the simple drug deal but it was stupid.

I told Ash and Fez that it was stupid.

But like usual, they didn't listen to me.

I look around the room with a stoic expression, Fez sending me a nod from across the room. I could tell that he was frightened, his chest rising in aggressive breaths as Ashtray stands at his side. My younger brother, on the other hand, doesn't look phased at all. He looks annoyed almost, his eyes fluttering around the room to dish out dirty, unbothered looks. Typical.

"Why the fuck would you bring three fucking kids to a deal?" Vince asks, circling us like vultures as he looks over to Rue. She was faded, so faded, I'm sure she can't even grasp the seriousness of this situation. This is the type of situation that would get her killed, and my eldest brother killed while trying to protect her. He's always been protective of those he loved, almost to a fault. It always pissed me off to watch the sticky situations he got himself into but this?

This could've been avoided.

"First of all, they not kids. They're my business partners." Fez replies simply, not caring about our age, just how effective we were in situations like this. And I was pretty damn effective. "Why you even gettin' upset though? This one needed a ride and we were going to the same place after this." Fez motions to Rue, the girl just waving her hand with bashful smile.

“Look, we don’t want any trouble. We just wanted to do what we came here for and move on with our lives. It’s New Years Eve for Christ’s sake.” I scoff, leaning against the wall as the man turns to me, a calculated look on his face as he tilts his head at me.

“You look like the type to want trouble.” He snarls, his lips twisting up in a smirk that has my stomach growing queasy. I watch as Ash tenses from across the room at the sight of the larger man approaching me, my face continuing to rest peacefully as he steps up to me. “In fact, you look like you like a bit of trouble, hmm?” He asks, reaching up to brush his knuckles against my cheek as I cringe. My eyes lock on Fez’s from across the room, his shoulders squared and gaze murderous as he watches this go down. “I bet you could be persuaded into a lot.” He scoffs, turning his head to look over at Custer who cowers, his eyes glued to the floor. Snickers are heard from around the room at my discomfort, letting out a sigh of relief as the man steps away from me.

“Vince!” Laurie calls out from the other room, the man’s attention immediately being turned to her like a well trained pet, his feet carrying him out of the room. I turn to look at Ash, watching his fists clench at his side.

“Behave.” I hiss at him, his eyes rolling as he turns to look up at Fez for clarification. Fez just gives him a similar look, silencing the young boy and any concerns that he might want to act on. We both knew that Ash could become violent at the drop of a hat, not caring or worrying about the consequences.

I turn to Rue with a soft glance, her whole body trembling from anxiety and the drugs running through her system. I knew that this wasn't going to end well for her, knowing that they would punish her in some way for showing up drugged. The last thing they needed was a junkie making the cops get a bit too suspicious. These guys were probably all on probation or ex convicts, they look the part too.

By the time Vince returns to the kitchen, my weight is shifting anxiously from one foot to the other. Fez looks just as anxious, his stoic expression now cracking a bit as we wait on our fate. We both knew this wasn’t good, even Ash knew this wasn’t good and he didn’t have nearly as much experience as his two older siblings.

“Here’s what we gonna do,” Vince pauses, his eyes locking with mine as he sneers a pervish smile, “you all gotta prove you’re not wearing wires. So strip.” His eyes don’t leave mine as a shiver runs down my spine, anxiety bubbling in my belly as I turn to look at Rue. The room is quiet for a moment, the sound of a clock ticking being the only noise around us. This was more than awkward and dangerous, Rue, Ash and I all being underaged. But the man in front of me doesn’t seem to care, his eyes flickering over my legs in a dangerous way. “Come on!” He yells, my hands shaking as I avert my gaze from those around me, my fingers pulling my sweatshirt over my head. “Not you, get him in the fucking closet.” Vince orders, another man grabbing Ash by the shoulders, pulling him down the hallway. Anger bubbles in my system at the sight, Fez sending me a stern shake of his head but the words are already flying out of my mouth.

“Don’t you fucking touch my kid!” I scream, my back being pinned to the wall in a moment's notice, an arm resting across my throat. I reach out to claw at the man in front of me, Fez calling out my name as a gun presses against his chin. Tears prick my eyes as I whimper, my head falling back against the wall as I huff.

“You either strip outta those pants, or imma do it for you.” The man in front of me whispers, the feeling of his breath against my cheek making me gag as he pushes himself away from me. Vince comes back into the room without Ash, my head spinning in frustration as I pray that he’s okay. My biggest concern was the fact that he had been used for collateral before when he was a baby, I didn’t want that to happen to him again. At least he didn’t have to see any of this if he was stuck in a closet.

My hands shove my pants down my legs, kicking them to the side as goosebumps erupt on my skin. It was suddenly freezing in the room, my arms folding over my chest as I look at Rue, her eyes hesitant as her hands hover over her shirt. I know that if she doesn’t get changed, they’d force her out of her clothes without a second thought. What I also know is that I would be on any of these men in a second if they touched her. So would Fez. So we were treading on thin ice.

In a split second, Rue is dragged out of the room by her hair, Fez immediately pushing against the man and against the gun that’s pressed against his skin. I can hear Ash yelling from the other room, obviously worried by the commotion and the yelling.

“Stand down bitch!” Vince carries Rue into the other room, my eyes tearing up at the thought of potentially losing her or losing Fez in the process. Fez sends me an exasperated look, my knees wobbling as I try to come up with something to do but there was nothing. My lips part but no words come out, Rue’s yelling from down the hall making my blood boil, my tongue hurting from how hard I’m biting it.

Deciding on taking action, my feet take a step forward, but I’m quickly stopped, the butt of a shotgun hitting the back of my head, sending me to the floor.

My eyelashes flutter against my cheek as I groan, the ground beneath me moving and jostling. Nausea rises in my throat as I sigh, my tongue darting out to wet my dry lips. My head pounds painfully, a small whimper leaving my lips as a hand rubs up and down my back. My eyes squint as I look up, Ashtray looking down at me with furrowed brows. The memory of the last few hours hits me, my eyes widening as Ash shakes his head.

“We finished the deal, Rue’s up with Fez. Everyone’s fine.” He shrugs simply, his eyes flicking up to look at the front of the car. Fez peaks back, a soft smile of relief passing over his lips at the sight of my wide, open eyes.

“Sleepin’ beauty’s finally got her ass up.” Fez snorts, my eyes rolling as I relax back into my youngest brother, his hand patting my back playfully at Fez’s teasing.
