I've got so many thoughts on this book so far but the main thing that's just killing me is how val cant or won't contextualize properly. shes begging one of mevolent's generals not to murder someone. did she not understand the dead men were a hit squad. what is she talking about "this would change everything" girl just let him shoot the twat and have it all over with
