Personality wise, ya she's a more cracked out version of princess cupcake cookie (that's the oc right?)

Becoming basically addicted to foods, fights or fiestas. She now requires a kingdom size of this to satiate her desires (and even then that's still not enough!)

She most likely overthrew the royal family, even kicking her son from the throne to become ruler of Hollyberry kingdom and probably sent them to prison, regulating? Bah! Don't think about that and drink off the day as much as you can!

Very likely that she might've killed some of her citizens or atleast nearly killed pitaya dragon cookie because she wants to fight but overdid it and nearly let them to bleed to death... But heyyyy they got doctors in the kingdom so they'll be fine!

Very crazy for you! Will not hesitate to kill everyone even her former bodyguard (Now Captain of the cookie knights of the Cookie kingdom, traitor!) if it means she can have herself!

Unlikely scenario but I have a feeling she wants to replace her shield to various types of weapons, mainly because she likes swinging around sword n shit and a shield is lame!

For this, it would be a vibe between @/cuppajj’s Dragonberry Cookie and Tea Knight Cookie, except replacing the dragon element of the former and the more armored look of the latter. Except, within the helmet’s visor, you can see the Lover’s deranged, driven mad eyes…

Kinda, a mix of that and her original personality, but leaning more on the laidback side. She drinks and partakes in her own vices with no sense of control. It’s only when she spots the object of her passion at the moment is when the manic side of her kicks in.

A battle, juice, or even of romantic interest, she chases after it with the same level of insane passion. She wants her kingdom to pursue their own desires without any limits or barriers stopping that. A kingdom without control would be chaos, but the kingdom flourished as a result too.

Her intense passion for battle nearly costed the life of Pitaya Dragon Cookie, who has since retreated to the Dragon’s Valley. The kingdom’s medical staff can handle the cookies that get sent there because of her desires for battle, and if they perish, well they just didn’t have it in them anyway.

Wildberry Cookie has joined your ranks in a bid to stop the Lover from spreading her overindulgence on chaos around all of Earthbread. The Lover would give him the time of day, if not for the fact that she already has YOU in her sights. If the Lover is passionate about something, she’s doing EVERYTHING she can to get to it..

Her shield still remains her as her primary weapon, but she’s open to others if it means cutting through her opponents much faster, the fire in her heart remaining strong as so!

Cole waits. It's all he can do. He's impatient. He's frustrated. He's angry.

He tenses as he feels the pressure in his core. It lodges deep in his pelvis as his hand glides up and down his dick, pumping desperately for release. He grits his teeth and growls. Almost there. Almost--

It's not working. It won't... won't happen. He's backed up. Bad. Worse, the damn erection won't stop. When he does finally get himself calm, it pops back up. He thought of calling a doctor but that's embarrassing. He just needs to let it out. He needs her.

He cranks on the shower and steps under the flow. It stays cold even as he waits for it to warm up. What the hell is it now? At least the frigid water made him limp.

He gets out and stomps across the hall to his room. He grabs his robe and slippers and hurries out. He goes down to the basement to check the water heater. He uses his phone to illuminate the meter. It's not working. He touches the side, expecting to get scalded. It's freezing. Goddamn it! One thing after another.

As he slides the flashlight to off, his phone vibes. He nearly drops it. The must smell of cobwebs and dust has him pinching his nose as he swipes through his notifications.

It's working! She finally clicked on that link. He looked over the email Jensen coded. It's pretty convincing. At least, it worked on her.

He can see her through the lens of her phone. Closer than ever. She's gorgeous. He forgot how good she looks. She frowns as she keeps tapping then gives up. He sets her phone down on an angle, in some sort of stand. It faces her room as she moves around.

She just woke up too. She's in a camisole and short shorts. He's almost hypnotised at the sight of her thighs. He loves the little dimples in them. She turns her back and bends. The fabric rides up on her ass. She's so... full. He can imagine his hands on her, jiggling all that cushion. Shit, he's hard again.

He shoves his hand under his robe as he leans on the wall. She picks up the mess in her room. She can be a bit forgetful but she gets to stuff in the end. She moves around as she plucks up all the clothes and shove them in a basket.

She stands and blows a breath out. Her tit hangs over the top of her camisole and she fixes it. He squeezes tighter and his voice drones from him. He's so close. Just a little more.

As she picks the fabric from between her cheeks, he grunts. His whole body spasms as he cums. It leaks down his robe and spatters down his legs. Shit. Shit, it won't stop.

When he's finally done, he's shaking. He might just fold in on himself. Woah. He can't even imagine what it will be like to really be with her. He'll need to work on his stamina. He wouldn't want to disappoint her.

He climbs the stairs and hears his mom in the kitchen. She tuts as she turns the faucet on and off, "Cole?"

"Ma, I said I'm on it." He hisses, storming past her, hoping she can't see the wet spot on his robe.

"Honey, I know--"

"Ma, please, I'm not even dressed," he stomps to the stairs and gnashes down on a growl.

He can't do this much longer. He can't take it. His sister needs to come home and his parents need to figure this out. It's time for the egg to come out of the nest.

He wipes himself off with a cold wet cloth before he goes back to his room. He props his phone up so he can watch her. She's just laying in bed, staring back at him. She must be watching something on her phone. She's so pretty.

He shakes the distraction off and goes through the instructions; firewall, VPN, remote-in. He always thought the darkweb was an urban legend or whatever. He didn't stay on it long the first time, he got too nervous. But he's desperate and he can't go through that again. He can't lose her. Ever.

Ahhhh I love Kaya I’m sorry if I drone on in random directions here!! Okay okay so the general vibe of how she got there is after Laugh Tale (and whatever happens there I dare not speculate I’m bad at guessing) the Straw Hats eventually make their way back to the East Blue and Usopp stays in Syrup village for a little longer than the rest of the crew and when they come back for him he’s like “uh so hi uh Kaya and I got married” and Luffy’s like “SHE WAS CREW BEFORE SHE’S CREW NOW GET ON THIS BOAT :^))” Then there’s a period of time when her and Usopp decide they want to have a kid (surprise it’s two kids) where they spend a few years in Syrup Village before they rejoin the Straw Hats which I know I mentioned okay but so w Sanji I think before the kids they’re very friendly, Sanji always knew about Kaya and Usopp would write to Kaya and talk abt all the crew but esp Sanji so there’s a bit of that “I feel like I already know you” vibe with them. She does already know the rest of the East Blue crew so she’d probably gravitate towards them at first and out of all of them besides Usopp I think she’d vibe the most with Luffy and Sanji. Her and Chopper are fast friends for obvious reasons, and they start to kind of divvy up doctor-ing duties. Kaya specialized in traumatic injury so she could help Usopp on his adventures and Chopper specializes in internal medicine so she becomes a huge help in the aftermath of battles. First round of treatment from Dr. Kaya and ongoing treatment with Dr. Chopper :^) Add Law into the mix when the Hearts are around and they have a little Doctor Club where the three of them are always exchanging knowledge and books and things they’ve found around the world that are helpful. The three of them are really comfortable friends and like to study in the same room together without talking for like hours. In a similar vein I think her and Robin get along really well and will read quietly together. The way that Robin just says creepy shit Kaya has a way of doing that too, but with such a friendly face and tone it’ll take people a long time to even begin to clock why what she said is fucked up (makes giving Bad Doctor News very easy, she’s a kind of calming that after the fact makes you go ??? How did that work). She spends a fair amount of time with Franky because she likes to hang out in the workshop while Usopp tinkers, and it turns into her learning a thing or two from Franky as well. Brook tried to teach her piano because it seemed like something she’d like but she was low key terrible at it and the lessons went on much longer than they should have because they were both too polite to suggest they stop.

After her and Usopp rejoin the Straw Hats Sanji is immediately obsessed with their kids. Sanji has such “I will parent the shit out of any child” energy okay this guy was born to dad. Ofc it makes Usopp’s heart full to see his kids with his boyf, and Usopp is a very involved dad (he would never be like his own dad), but it just situationally ends up giving Kaya & Sanji more one on one time than they’d had before (switching off parenting duties, Kaya’s not really a fighter so she tends to stay back on the ship if there’s conflict, Sanji esp at first volunteers to stay back with her and the kids to keep watch). All of that plus the fact that Sanji’s always been framed to her as this guy the person she loves loves, it’s only a hop skip and a jump away until “oops I have a crush on my husband’s boyfriend.” Esp cause I don’t think Usopp would be shy about being affectionate with either of them, so all three of them plus the two kids just end up in a pile super often.

Riddle- Human. Doctor who practices new medicine backed by Science, about to be accessed of witchcraft.

Trey- Witch. Lives in the woods and fattens up rude travelers to sacrifice them to the eel monsters that have taken up home in a nearby swamp.

Cater- Human. Doll maker who unknowingly took in a haunted doll that he's trying to customize.

Deuce- Bird monster. Has recently left home and was shown kindness by an old lady on a farm last winter.

Ace- Fox monster. Wanders but has recently started to hang around a farm for the free apples.

Leona- Sphinx type monster. Recently injured and healing in a cave by an old village.

Ruggie- Human. Found and bandaged Leona in the cave. Feeds Leona what scraps he can and gets a golden bead to sale before every winter when Leona hibernates.

Jack- Werewolf. Protects a patch of woods from people who hold ill intent. An old woman on a farm gives him cuts of meat for the winter if he shows up on her porch.

Azul- Sea witch. Recently moved to a river to establish new territory.

Floyd/Jade- Eel monsters. Azul's friends. They ended up in the swamp instead of Azul's river by accident and haven't found a reason to leave yet (Trey keeps them fed, and Jade thinks he's cute)

Kalim- Naga. Honestly just vibing but he keeps sneaking off to party with the fae even through he might just die one day from it.

Jamil- Naga. Main one hunting for him and Kalim. Keeps telling him to stop going to the fairy soirees to have wine with Lilia.

Vil- Shape shifter. Has a preference for eating those of noble blood.

Rook- Human. Monster hunter who is unapologetically down bad for the shape shifter.

Epel- Human. Recently moved back to the farm his grandmother owns after being kicked out of his noble stepfather's home.

You are a fresh face in the neighbourhood–a new job meant a new house in a new town–lucky to have found a small, semi-detached two-bedroom amongst the suburban dream of neat front lawns and white picket fences. Your new house is the smallest on the block by far, dwarfed by the property you share an outside wall with, but that's just fine with you. You don't need much space for one. 

You even bought yourself a secondhand car with the money your mother had generously saved up for your first move–just something small to get you around quicker. You didn't really have need of a vehicle in the city, but now that you are in the comparatively quiet world of suburbia, you are more than happy to leave public transport behind and get behind the wheel. 

As soon as you graduated and left home you quickly realised that the rent of a city apartment was too much on a measly vet nurse's salary. You struggled for a year on your own before calling it quits. That's why you left for a private practice in the town of Konoha–where the pay more fairly matched the lowered cost of living in this pretty little neighbourhood. And you can confidently say that things are going well, you survived your first night in your new home and seemed to settle into your first week on the job quite nicely.

Your co-workers are very kind and welcoming. An enigmatic whirlwind of a man, Guy, gave you a tour of the practice on your first day and allowed you to shadow him. He is one of the three veterinarians on staff and is almost intimidatingly large–sporting black hair cut into a comical bowl shape that somehow works for him and the thickest eyebrows you think you've ever seen on a man. It was a lot of energy for the early hour, and he kept you on your toes as you struggled to keep up with him. 

Luckily, you are not the only one having to learn the ropes–a trainee vet nurse, Sakura Haruno, recently joined the staff, and you were able to meet her on your first day. Although she is under the watchful eye of Veterinarian, Yamato Tenzo, a tired-looking man in his early thirties who has decidedly less energy than his coworker–but he seems nice enough. He gives off a heavy work-dad vibe, even though he isn't much older than yourself.

The third Vet, Mr. Neji Hyuuga, you have yet to meet for he was on holiday your first week. You were told he is the hardass of the department, very professional, and not one for idle chit chat. You can't lie that you are especially anxious about meeting the man come Monday morning, but Shizune, the Head Veterinary Nurse, and the bubbly girl who runs reception, TenTen, assured you that there's a good guy buried underneath the pomp and professionalism.

You like Shizune and TenTen, they work reception most days (with Shizune providing support for TenTen when things get busy and completing endless paperwork) and they work well together. A day on the job with them is never a boring one. Your ragtag little team functions perfectly, something that was a big surprise to you, as you didn't expect to fit in so quickly.

Needless to say, it's nice to have some friendly faces on this new and scary journey of yours.

And then there is your next-door neighbour…a new face, certainly, but a friendly one? You aren't so sure. You don't know him well, only speaking to him in passing when you both happen to leave the house at the same time, but he's polite, at least. He's a quiet resident to boot despite being very active, so you have no complaints really–especially when he takes his daily early morning run around the block, like clockwork, returning sweaty and shirtless on the drive.

It takes everything in you not to stare at the way the glow of the sunrise glints off his muscles each morning as you make your way to your car. Impossible not to trace your eyes over the pattern of scars littering his right side, like an intricate tattoo starting from his hairline and disappearing into the waistband of his shorts. He always nods at you in greeting, eyes never really meeting your own, a little awkward but respectful. It is even harder to put the car in reverse and drive away when he starts stretching in your conjoined driveway-skin pulled taut across his muscular frame. And there is a lot to look at, he's easily 6’2, and built like an athlete. Figures you live next to a gym nut. It makes you feel oddly self conscious about your own lazy habits and un-toned physique. 

And maybe it is that instant and innate attraction always knocking you on your ass when you see him that has you bravely leaving your house and walking across the pattern of brickwork to his door–bottle in hand. You figure it's only polite to introduce yourself since you've been running into the man all week and still have no clue what his name is. 

You bought him a bottle of wine at the convenience store around the corner, just something small as a housewarming gift, the irony not lost on you. But nowhere in the 'good neighbour manual' does it say that the fresh meat can't be the one to knock on doors with a peace offering. You wonder if he will see straight through the generous act to your true intention of getting to know the handsome stranger underneath.

Before you can second guess yourself, you rap your knuckles across his front door and wait impatiently, rocking on the balls of your feet to try and dislodge the mess of anxiety in your gut. Is this a terrible mistake? Maybe he won't be home, maybe he went for a run (you know it's too late for that), and you'll just be able to leave the bottle on the doorstep and retreat like a coward. 

He abruptly interrupts your thoughts as the door swings open to reveal his impressive stature-dressed in nothing but sweats and a tight fitting tank. You straighten your posture on impulse, holding your head high and schooling your features into something more approachable. He looks so damn good with his black sweats hung low on his hips and black hair perfectly messy, he makes looking good look effortless and suddenly you feel self conscious in your obviously ‘trying-too-hard’ sundress and strappy sandals.

He actually looks at you, really looks at you, for the first time since you moved in next door and you find yourself helplessly caught in his gaze. Trapped in place by eyes so deep a black you feel like you could fall into them forever and never reach an end. No…his right eye is actually a deep reddish brown, ironically reminiscent of the rich colour of the merlot you hold in your hand just for him, so dark it appears black if you aren't paying close enough attention. You didn't realise how unusual and oddly hypnotic his eyes are until right now, up close and personal, rather than several metres away, peering through a glass windscreen. With nothing but a few inches between you, his looks are having full effect on you. 

He blinks rapidly in surprise, long thick lashes grazing his scarred cheek as he looks down at you, plump lips parting on an exhale. He looks as lost as you feel. God, he's so tall and gorgeous it steals the breath from your lungs, butterflies dancing in your stomach. Oh, this is definitely a mistake.

So basically the expedition (13 strong) follows elizabert the space explorer to a planet far far away and settles there in order to explore the far far range. While there, her and her team farm slimes for profit.

Filbo the deputy mayor wanders around the ranch talking with its residents and making sure things are going smoothly but it’s not like he can really do anything if thing don’t. He doesn’t have any slimes because they all turn into tar at some point. He’s responsible for multiple tar outbreaks

Wambus the farmer attempts to farm the different fruits and vegetables on the ranch. Has an ongoing rivalry with Gramble because he doesn’t want to give up his chicken for food. He is often lonely from his wife triffany alway being away. Has a tangle smile

Beffica the socialite came to escape her crimes. Idk why she’s here lol. She has a couple of tabby slimes

Gramble came here to start a slime ranch But he instead has multiple chicken coops and each chicken has a name. Has an ongoing rivalry with wambus because he can’t give up any of hIs chicken to feed grumpuses with. Gramble takes care of wiggles crystal slime

Triffany travels the far far range in search of ancient history. When away from the ranch she can often be found in the ancient ruins. She has some rock slimes that her husband wambus takes care of while she’s away.

Wiggle came here not for money but for music! She travels the far far range for some inspiration for her next big hit. But back on the ranch she has a shiny crystal smile waiting for her that Gramble watches over.

Cromdo came here for the big bucks and is often near the plot collector thing. He keeps track of the stock market but constantly makes bad investments. He goes out and collects any plorts that he might find to sell. He doesn’t have a slime of his own but wishes he had a gold slime or a lucky slime

Chandlo came here to test his strength. He lives with his boyfriend snorpy on a mini ranch. He has an assortment of the more dangerous slimes that he takes care of, most of which are dangerous largo combinations but he’s strong enough to manage them all. He makes all the ranch stuff around the ranch

Snorpy is here because his friend (with benefits) Chandlo is here. He spends most of his time inside cooped up in his conspiracies and inventions. He is responsible for all your vac upgrades as well. He has no pet slime because he thinks they are works of the Grumpinati but has an “enslaved product of the grumpinati” instead that’s just a fire slime that lives in his forge. He mans the mechanical stuff on the ranch

Floofty the scientist is here to study plorts and how they could be used in society. Not sure if they cut their leg off in this AU cuz they don’t really have a reason to. They collect slimes that they perform experiments on. They’d have a pet tar if they could but instead they have a ranch of quantum slimes

Shelda the idk the spiritual one came to do fuck all. She hangs out at the ranch just straight vibing and giving guidance when needed. She says that she’s not here for money and to not give into greed but can be caught putting plorts in the plort thingy, girly gots medical bills to pay idk what to tell you. She has her own personal puddle slime

Eggabell is the ranch's residential doctor. She cares for everyone, especially her wife Liz. Tends to work with Floofty on their science projects that involve medicine to make herself feel useful. she gets a cute lil pink slime

Elizabert (Liz for short) is the ranch leader. She brought everyone here after she discovered the far far range. She often spends her days traveling around the island bringing back what she finds for the ranch and making maps. She has her own hunter slimes back on the ranch but keeps one that goes on all her adventures

At some point the journalist will show up and land at the wrong place. As they spend the night in their ship, slimes get in somehow and turn into tars wich end up kinda destroying the ship. But Filbo finds you then takes you to the ranch but it’s empty ofc. He says that Liz and egg went on an adventure together but never came back, then the fight happens and everyone leaves. Now you have to do his job and bring everyone back to the ranch.

But the real question is where is Liz and egg??? Man I don’t know but I still want hard boiled egg and Liz’s hunter slime to team up

Blind Branch au

(sorry for the shitty edit, I'm not good at drawing. Credits to who got the caption, I just added the edit for branch's eyes and his caine.)

In this au, branch loses his sight thanks to the Bergten chef from the first movie, in the scene where they are all signing in the dining room with the Bergtens, the chef is obviously pissed off because her plan was screw up.

She took out a fork from her pocket and tried to attack poppy, but branch notice it and he pushed poppy away, so he was the one who got scratch by the chef's fork (thankfully it didn't go deeper.)

The chef was stopped by the guards while everyone went to help branch who was in a lot of pain and was bleeding from his face, mostly his eyes.

Thankfully, one of the Bergtens present was a doctor, who helped branch on that moment since taking him to the village while only make them lose time and the wound could get worse.

After branch was banded up, he was immediately took home for resting, poppy stayed by his side the entire time, she even slept with him that night on his bunker so he wouldn't be alone.

Days passed and branch was feeling a lot better,but the bandages around his eyes were starting to get annoying.

He was helped by poppy and the others, poppy was always holding his hand and telling him where to step and what was in front of him.

One day, poppy took branch to the po village's doctor so he could check up on branch's eyes.

The doctor took of the bandages and examinated his eyes. Branch had a scar in his face, right in his eyes, which ones where completely blank.

"branch...can you see me..?" The doctor asked.

A moment of silence fills the room, poppy anxiously waiting for branch's response, hoping that he was ok.

Then branch spoked.

"wait....you already took the bandage off?"

That was the day where branch's life changed again.

He obviously became depressed knowing that he'll never be able of seeing again.

Poppy and all his friends stayed with him and support him as much as they could.

He felt much better, knowing that his friends were there for him.

The doctor who treated him taught him Braille.

They had classes every evening, while he was being taught poppy remained sitting behind him, silently giving him good vibes.

His hearing increase a lot.

He might have poppy but he also has a Caine to move around.

When the village new about his blindness, every shop, restaurant or any type of place had braille signs and menus for him.

Mafukasa swap au, with in game screen cap edits

Things that swapped:

- Parents level of overbearing (Tenma’s are incredibly suffocating, while mafumom is well intentioned but left mfy alone far too much)

- roles in the group (Emu is WxS’ leader, while Mafuyu is Niigo’s)

- appearance of Sekai (Tsukasa has a more monochrome/depressing vibe, while Mfy’s is fanciful and colorful)

- outward persona (Tsukasa is the golden boy, perfect at everything, well mannered, etc. while Mafuyu is outgoing, confident, helpful (even when it’s not asked for), etc.)

Things that did not swap:

- Gender, and therefore school’s they go to

- which group they’re in

- familial situation outside of parents (Tsukasa is still Saki’s older brother and the Tenma’s are still close with the Aoyagi’s, Mfy is still a single child)

- Tsukasa is still the one with memory issues, so Mafuyu is influenced by bad memories from her past from the get go instead of slowly remembering them (she is still completely unwilling to actually engage with said memories even if she remembers them though)

- Which VS’s they start with (Mafuyu is just miku, Tsukasa is Miku and Kaito)

Other important things: (if interested)

- Saki and Tsukasa’s relationship is a lot more strained, Saki has incredibly conflicting feelings about her brother and Tsukasa always has his front up, even around her, so they can’t have a proper conversation

- Toya also has a stilted relationship with Kasa, both the Tenma’s and his father tended to compare the two boys. So while he still looks up to Tsukasa, he has some reservations about weather his admiration is genuine or just feelings implanted in him from the adults. Toya’s much closer with Saki, as he visited her a lot in the hospital (initially at Tsukasa’s request)

- Mafmom is a single mom, and a doctor. Needless to say she is busy *a lot*, bcs of that she’s always needed Mafuyu to be self sufficient and responsible, far before the age one could reasonably except for a child. She still loves Mafuyu very much and always tries her best to give her daughter a free and happy life

- Rather than an actor, Mafuyu found her passion in writing poetry. She wants to become the best poet of all time, which is what leads her to writing lyrics for K’s songs. Only the best composer could possibly support the best lyricist after all!

- Mafuyu’s love of writing comes from remembering all the times in the past her mom would come home late at night, looking exhausted both physically and emotionally, mfy would stay up to see her and then the two would cuddle under the blankets and read together. In those moments it would really feel like none of the rest of the day existed and all those pains and anxieties would slip away from her mother as they were transported to another world in their stories

- some time into this ritual, mafuyu started writing her own stories for her mother, and while Mafumom said she loved all of Mafu’s writing there was something special about her poetry that completely dispelled all of mafumom’s bad feelings and just let her live in the lines of text

- after that poetry became mafuyu’s life, and her Sekai is built off her desire to help people feel better with her work.

- Tsukasa’s Sekai also doesn’t match canon mafuyu’s it’s not built off his desire to disappear, instead it’s his desire to be his own person and figuring out who he even is in the first place (the other three can enter his sekai due to their shared desire of wanting to be themselves without getting hurt for it)

- Tsukasa hopes that by acting, he might resonate with a role and it’ll help him learn more about himself

- since they’re in the images, fun fact, Ruikasa kizuna rank title is ‘charity case’ (in place of 1-2 weirdo wombo combo) due to people assuming perfect, golden boy Tsukasa only started spending time with Rui because Teachers were hoping he would keep Rui out of trouble and get other students to look at Rui more favorably (thus Rui is Tsukasa’s ‘charity case’)

- while kanamafu’s kizuna rank is ‘please take a break’ due to both of them trying to constantly get the other to take better care of themselves. Mafuyu always saying Kanade needs to eat and sleep rather than composing all the time, while Kanade is desperately trying to make Mafuyu realize that working all day and putting ‘110%’ into everything she does, is infact unhealthy and not ‘the work ethic every good writer should strive for’ (it is not working on either end, Kanade is too guilty and mafuyu is too deep in denial)

Hey there! With everyone posting their post-s3 Hacks fics now, I figured I'd shake things up a little with this multi-chapter X-Files AU! You don't need to have any knowledge of the original show (though there are Easter eggs dropped in for those who do) - this is more my playing in the world of the show but telling my own story than of trying to recreate the plot of TXF beat by beat.

Updates every Sunday unless the tag starts quieting down in a few weeks, in which case I'll probably bump to 2x/week updates :)

Chapter Preview:

Ava glances down at the slip of paper in her hands again. “B10.” The letters are scribbled in blue pen. The fuckers hadn’t even bothered to type up her new assignment on real letterhead or anything.

In the elevator, Ava’s finger hovers over the button for the basement level for a long moment before she jabs at G. If they’re not even going to pretend like this assignment is anything other than the death knell of a once-promising career, she doesn’t owe them a full 9-5 workday either. Besides, she’s pretty sure that the cute barista who works the morning shifts at Dolcezza was giving off flirty vibes last week, and she could really use the pick me up after the week she’s had. Not that she’s more than a day into it. Fuck.

Still, a good matcha latte is enough to fix most days a little bit, and even though Sam hadn’t been working, Ava decides it was the right decision. She almost isn’t resentful as she stabs at B and feels the elevator trundle down to the rarely used basement level of the Hoover Building.

Even though she’s pretty sure the janitorial staff hits all the floors, the air down here feels dusty. Like, call a doctor and order an inhaler levels of dusty. She sniffles a little as she peers down the hallway until she finds office 10, which she thinks might actually be the only office down here. With a grunt of effort and a bump of her hip, she manages to shove open the heavy door without having to put down her latte or her phone or the Post-it. She’s busy enough celebrating her small victory that she barely notices the other body in the room until a loud, “Excuse you,” startles Ava enough to have her latte slipping from her hand and crashing to the floor.

“Fuck!” Ava yells, watching as eight dollars spills across the carpeted floor—and, oh god, carpet? No wonder it smells like the 70s down here.

“Are you just gonna watch that? Pick it up!”

Ava jumps into action, grabbing her mostly empty cup from the ground and tossing it into the trash. It’s only then that she properly notices the woman who’s been yelling at her. She’s dressed impeccably in black suit pants, heels, and a satiny blouse thing, and Ava wonders how the hell she got lost and ended up down here instead of wherever she belongs. Ava’s bet is on legal. Maybe HR… A shame. She’s pretty hot, but probably way too into rule following and chain of command shit to be fun.

It had all been a disaster from the start.

The stupid government match program, the stupid Matchbooks, the stupid meeting. You didn’t want anything to do with any of it, but being angry about its existence wasn’t enough to get yourself removed from the program.

Unfortunately for you, you didn’t have a medical or religious reason to apply for exemption. You had no documented traumatic experience, assault or near miss life and death accident to apply either. You weren’t able to get an exemption from it for college, all you could get was a delay in being matched.

So now, here you were. Nearly thirty, a graduate, in a good job, with zero inclination or desire to become a mother. You could only hope the gods of statistics had mercy on you and you could avoid the roll of the dice for six years. Then you could apply for an exemption based on age.

But even more than that, if you could drive your match to give in and request a rematch, then you’d be back in the pool. As far as you knew this was a first match for both of you. It would raise flags for you if you applied for a rematch, considering how much stalls and exceptions you’d applied for over the last 14 or so years.

You gently shooed your mother’s hand away from your outfit. She was just nervous and trying to burn off the energy, but you weren’t worried about being flawless anyway. If you could’ve gotten away with it you would’ve showed up in sweats and a hoodie.

But even you weren’t that rude, and this first meeting was happening in the private tea room of a very expensive onsen. The idea being that if the two of you hit it off well you could enjoy the private open air hot springs attached to the suite that your parents, and his father, had pooled together to pay for.

If you didn’t hit it off well then your parents could stay for all you cared.

“Apologies for the wait,” A booming voice, that’s trying desperately not to boom, says as a very tall and broad shouldered older man enters the room. His mustache is impressive. “There was an accident on the way here and Marco assisted the paramedics.”

Coming in behind the massive man was a tall, but not as physically imposing, younger man with blonde hair and bright eyes. You knew Marco was a doctor, but it still took your mind a moment to equate him assisting the paramedics with it actually being within the parameters of his job.

“Sorry about the tie, yoi.” He says, as the two seat themselves across from you and your parents. “I didn’t think to bring along a spare.”

“Oh it’s fine,” your mother assures him and you nod slightly.

The pictures in the matchbook don’t do him justice. Maybe it’s because he’s a little ruffled from the accident that had delayed them, or maybe it’s because you never heard his voice until now, but your brain is spinning in place and you don’t know what to say.

The kind smile he gives you makes you realize you were staring and your mother helps you recover, prompting introductions all around. The parents go first, and then you, and then Marco.

Sure, most of it is in the book they give you, but it’s still nice to just say it.

Tea goes well, and the following supper does too. Marco keeps serving you as the evening goes on, and he does it so smoothly you don’t even realize it the first couple of times. The way he asks questions makes them so easy to answer and the sound of his voice is the only thing that seems to cut through the rush of blood in your ears.

In the end, you both agree to accept the room.

With a towel wrapped around you, you enter the hot spring attached to your room. It takes you a moment to find a comfortable spot and position, and once you’re sure your towel isn’t going to betray you at some inopportune time, you relax.

“Okay!” You call out and can see Marco shuffling around behind the paper door.

“All settled in, yoi?”

“Yes, I’m… uh, comfortable.” You try to assert.

The door opens and Marco steps out and you press your lips together in a desperate attempt to keep yourself quiet. He’s wearing a towel, wrapped around his waist like he would if he’d just gotten out of the shower, and you can’t help but think how it’s a shame it won’t betray him in the next few steps.

He’s toned, shapely, thicker than you thought. He could probably easily bodily move a patient if needed, but he’s also so tall. The little happy trail coming up from the towel is hard to peel your eyes away from but you will your gaze ever upward as quickly - and naturally - as you can.

The tattoo you’d seen in a couple of the candid shots, and you have to look away as he steps into the hot spring, seating himself across from you. The spring is large enough you’re not on top of one another, but small enough there’s no great distance between you either.

“You’re hanging on for dear life, aren’t you?” Marco asks. His voice is even and he’s not trying to tease you, but you can feel the heat rushing to your face and it’s not the spring’s fault.

“No, I’m… I’m good.” You assert, stealing a glance toward him before just giving in and covering your face.

“I feel like I should apologize, yoi.”

“Please don’t.” You nearly whimper. “I don’t think I could survive that.”

The laugh that escapes him dances right down your spine, and you’re ready to just rip whatever’s inside you out so that you can get a break for a few minutes and get your feet under you. How could this happen? How could you fall in love so quickly?

Was it love? Or just lust? Even if it was just lust, was that so bad? You knew the Match Program had a solid reputation, but you had always assumed it was just propaganda.

“If it helps,” he begins, and you’re already thinking it won’t. Every word from him is like honey and it’s going to coat you until you drown in the sweetness of it. “You’re beautiful.”

You flinch enough that the water shifts around you. There’s no hiding your surprise and you peek at him from behind your fingers. His cheeks are dusted pink, and he looks away.

“I thought so when I got the book, but this is almost too much.” He admits sheepishly.

“… You’re flustered?” You ask the question without realizing how it must sound, and yet he nods.

You both fall silent for a moment. Both looking anywhere but at the other. Both just on the edge.

“Can I- “May I-

- kiss you?” The words leave your lips at nearly the same time, the slight variation dismissed as you both move toward one another.

“Please,” the word is soft and near to breaking, falling from both of you as the distance between you vanishes.

His hands cradle your face as you press against him, the soft collision of your lips sending a thrill through you both. The soft shared gasp is all you need as you connect again and again, until your lips part and his tongue slips in.

He’s on his knees, shoulders still above the water line as he holds you. Standing, you’re above him for a moment before you lean down and kiss him again.

Need rings in your ears, and rushes through your veins and you can only think you want to be closer than you are, and the towel is betraying you, and it only takes a tug to free yourself from it, and Marco moves with you, tossing the wet and heavy towel onto the stones easily before his hands are against your skin.

You arch back, and his kisses slip down your neck and over your collarbone. The sweet sigh that escapes you spurs him into action. He braces you with one hand, kissing your skin as he pulls his towel off and tosses it aside.

He shifts under the water, letting you straddle him loosely as he leans back, leaving you to rain kisses against his chest in return. Your fingers glide over his skin under the water and you can feel his interest in you poking into your thigh.

“This isn’t going to go well in the spring.” You say, shifting in the water and pressing your leg against his boner.

He hisses softly at the sensation and sighs. “I can lay against the stones, yoi.”

“I can.” You request, pressing into him as he moves you both back toward the steps that lead down into the spring. “I want… to see you against the stars.” You say, caressing his face and leaning in for a kiss as you see the pink flood his features again.

He lifts you up, keeping the kiss going as walking to the side of the spring. He lays you back onto the grass at the side of the pool and slips a finger between your labia as his kisses slip down your neck. Covering your mouth, moaning against your palm, his lips tease your skin and his finger rolls in steady circles against your clit.

Your fingers tighten in his hair when he sucks on your nipple and pushes a finger inside you. Before you can ask for more a second finger pushes in and you’re hooking one of your legs, helping to keep them open as he fingers you. Soft murmured swears slip from your lips.

“Wait, I’m going to… ah, Marco, please.” You beg, and feel him growl against your skin.

He pulls his fingers out and pulls his lips away from your chest. It’s not frustration that moves him, as he lines himself up with your entrance, but the breaking of a dam. He was trying so desperately to hold back long enough to make sure you came at least once, but your words were laced with a different need.

it would be both stupid and irresponsible to not know at least the basics about the interns you’ll be in charge of before they get there, so you know: ava silva, md, phd is quite impressive on paper. 

however: ‘silva, you’re with me,’ you say after you’ve introduced yourself to the small group and given the other four their assignments. as you take off down the hallway. dr. silva — beautiful, although that’s not a very professional thought as their boss — is wide-eyed and enthusiastic, far too talkative for you to really engage with at 4:30 am.

‘anyway, you don’t have to call me dr. silva. that sounds so serious. ava is fine, he/she/they pronouns, i don’t really care, it’s all fun to me.’

you nod, making note, but, ‘i’m going to call you dr. silva.’

he just laughs. ‘for now.’

you fight the urge to roll your eyes. ‘you worked with dr. salvius, for your doctorate?’ you ask while you wait for the elevator, for no reason other than that it’s the most normal thing to say and sometimes the way you were raised — polite smalltalk is better than silence —still overpowers.

dr. silva nods. ‘yeah. biotech stuff, neural interfacing, all that jazz.’

‘i read your research that came out this summer in the new england journal of medicine. it was quite fascinating.’ you refrain from saying amazing or incredible or groundbreaking or bordering on miraculous because dr. silva is grinning already. 

‘pretty cool, yeah? i want to go into neuro, mostly because i would hate for all that research to just get stuck in the lab.’ 

‘well, dr. superion is the best in the world.’

‘oh yeah, i know. she and jillian have a thing; it’s actually why i wanted to match here so badly.’

you ignore she and jillian have a thing for your own sanity, pushing the button on the elevator for the fourth floor, cardio. ‘it’s a great teaching program,’ you say, because it really is, all things considered. ‘if you need anything, these first few days especially, don’t hesitate to ask. i’d rather you reach out than do it wrong.’

her grin softens into a smile, singularly for you. ‘you’re much nicer than your vibe let on at first, you know that?’

you’ve spent your whole life trying to be kind, amidst a lot of cruelty. you know you’re contained, exacting, aloof, but you liked medicine in the first place because those things — your focus and your quiet — never stop you from being able to care for people well; dr. superion, especially, has taught you that those things can make you listen better, comfort more, explain procedures more clearly to your patients and your interns both — those things can be good.

dr. silva isn’t thrown off by your silence, which is both annoying but also something you appreciate. it’s going well; he’s talking about his research and the outdoor cat who lives by her capital hill apartment, but then she’s looking at the tablet — giving you your patient’s latest vitals like you asked, getting her back on track and focused at the task at hand — and runs right into lilith, rounding the corner.

lilith’s coffee goes everywhere, all over her the floor, and dr. silva’s tablet. 

‘god fucking damn it,’ lilith says, and dr. silva just looks on a little startled but also like they’re trying not to laugh — a horrible idea, if lilith’s pinched expression is anything to go by.

you apologize to lilith, which prompts, thank god, dr. silva to also apologize. lilith hurries off, cursing — not too quietly — at her ruined scrubs, and dr. silva turns to you, a little sheepish.

‘she’s hot,’ he says, then clamps his mouth shut. ‘my bad; it’s so early.’

you roll your eyes. ‘wipe off that tablet off. we’ve got rounds.’

So basically, the bus driver au is so neat. I wanted to make fanart of it. I hope you don't mind! If you do, then please ignore this!

And I really had the thought 'what if it was genderbent?' So I wanted to draw something like that.

Dazai has an ahoge, is still annoying, and people are simultaneously confused and understanding that she has a string of ex's and admirers.

FYODOR would be less miku and probably be a pretty android boy that gives off the same vibe as characters that fit into the 'Nagito komaeda archetype'.

Ms. Dot is one of those 'what do you mean I have to talk to the girl I like' girl-liker shut-ins. Has the power to accomplish world domination but is too busy acting like she's spending time with the girl she likes.

And I know FYODOR is supposed to be friendly and charming, but I can't help but think that FYODOR would probably be like those ai that get tired and annoyed by dumb questions, so he'd drop the likeable persona and be more monotone with Dazai.

And kind of random, but one physical similarity between FYODOR and Dot is that they both are drawn with the same kind of blush.

Sorry it's sloppy and shoddy, I'm not that good at drawing or writing. I just like to do both. And please ignore the lines of the body under Dazai's cape. I forgot to draw the cape and had to just...'it is what it is' my way to finishing this :[

I do want to take the chance to explain on why exactly the doctor made his dolls the way they are, why they're female too.

Dostoy's dolls are a sort of shield for him. He can be polite and socialize but not indefinitely, and not without the nausea and fatigue that come afterwards. That and all the other human attributes he finds difficult to control and maintain, Fyodor is made not to struggle with those things. She gets annoyed, because she is essentially dostoy too, but her level of control is always maintained, unless she chooses not to around dazai for example.

Fyodor, and the dolls in general, are the embodiment of dostoyevsky's perfect self. Is being female a sign of perfection to the doctor as well? I'll leave his gender crisis up to your imagination, so please consider these factors 🫰😸

Also, the doctor is definitely planning something akin to a world domination, just not as you'd imagine it.

More Cyberpunk au details + details of the RGB desings + earlier concept drawing

(Before that please let me know if you want more info on the au because I have a couple drawings planned but with school and stuff I can't draw much and Idk if I can stay motivated that long. So my next posts could be mostly au lore with maybe some sketches, tell me if you'd like that)

In general terms, to give the Cyberpunk aesthetic to all of their designs I try to avoid symmetry by adding belts or patterns to break it. And for the colors, I focused on darker hues and neon tones. This way, the designs have a “punk”/dystopian-ish vibe while representing the high-tech elements of their society (which is like Cyberpunk in a nutshell).

As for the young versions of RGB, each one has their own color palette: Kai's is Red and orange with shades of black; Nya's is Blue, pinkish red and light shades of gray; and Lloyd's is light Green and also dark blueish green. Kai and Nya get a few details (shoes, arm or jacket) of each other’s main color as a wink ;).

Kai's outfit is meant for moving around comfortably both in the city and outside, Nya's is like a mechanic uniform for tinkering, and Lloyd's is for running as fast as possible; he also has a puffy sleeve similar to Kai's (le wink again). All three of them have a letter of RGB in some part of their outfit and share a tech pattern, each positioned differently (Kai in his inside shirt, Lloyd in his sweatshirt and Nya in her leggins)

As for Kai's eye:

One day, when they were exploring around the danger zone of the outskirts of the city, Kai accidentally activated a trap set by one of the last survivors of the Outside that unexpectedly still lived there (a paranoid rancid sociopath). The violent trap had become infested with Red plants with time and made Kai get in contact with it too: it instantly dug its roots deep within his right eye socket and Kai was unable to pull it off. Since it was such a sensitive spot where the plant was sucking all the nutrients out of him, he was so weak that Nya had to slowly and painstakingly carry him back through the ruined suburbs to get help inside the city walls. After getting around the border control with the plant still stuck to Kai’s eye, all thanks to Echo’s help (who also carried the kid the rest of the way), they got to the doctor’s. Luckily, he was able to cure Kai, but he was forced to remove the affected area, which were his eye and part of the skin of his face; however, if he had waited any longer the plant's roots would have reached his brain and killed him.

Nya then started looking for a biomechanic while Kai rested with little Lloyd, who’d followed his sister all throughout the loaded trip back but could do nothing but keep her company due to his size. However, when the girl finally found one who agreed to make the prosthetic eye for them, a fellow demon named Ronin, he set them the condition to seek out a strange artifact for him as payment, giving them a total of eight years to find it. With no money and no choice, they were forced to accept, but Nya managed to get a picture of the prosthetic’s plans; this ensured that she’d be able to fix it and not depend on the guy too much, but four years later they were found out and their deadline was cut down to only another year.

In the end, Ronin will be Ronin, and the mysterious artifact was in fact a collectionist piece of

Garbage.

Apart from that incident though, as kids they don’t really spend that much time in the city, and they generally only come there to visit their friends/acquaintances and sell stuff Nya finds. For example, they do both of those things in Ed and Edna’s junkyard, where Nya trades her scraps for their more useful scraps while visiting their friend Jay. She and her siblings (who always need to stick together inside the city walls just in case) like telling stories about their adventures in the Outside to the oblivious inhabitants, so obviously Jay is no exception. The girl is very energetic and much more of a little unhinged rascal in this au, so her stories are usually really exciting and filled with funny acting for the little boy. Additionally, as they are both mechanics in the making, whenever the siblings come around his parent’s workshop, Nya and him show each other their latest creations and sometimes they even discuss how they could improve on their work.

But the one who most often talks to people, especially strangers, is Kai. Because even though they are feared as demons, the boy is much more chill and charismatic than his siblings, and is usually in charge of being the friendlier face (although he does like staring at the people who get scared of his dragon ears a little too hard hehe). In fact, they use that awkward fear to their own advantage: due to Lloyd’s much more obvious demon features (his ears are even pointier than the other two’s and his eyes are straight up red), he is often the distraction whenever they need to steal food, either in times of need or if they just wanna cause trouble. People just cannot stop staring nervously at the little boy, who is great at drawing the wrong kind of attention, and when the act is up, he’s so fast following his siblings that no one can ever catch him.

Overall, they don’t really give a single damn about society and think too many of them are just as parasitic as the plants in the Outside, so they don’t often bother as kids to get into the city. That, paired with the fact that they are just three tiny outcasts who somehow miraculously keep coming back from the “deadly” Outside, means that people in the city just tolerate and more or less respect them (out of being kinda spooked by them), so they tend to get away with their shenanigans without much repercussion.

But in the future, they do change their habits a little bit.

When it comes to their designs, they do keep the same purpose but with variations in their shapes. Kai still uses casual comfortable wear but his color palette changes a bit, with a more pinkish Red with blue highlights instead of orange, but he does keep the shades of black. His outfit now consists of a thin bodysuit cut at the chest and hips to make sort of a hexagonal fishnet pattern, trousers and boots, along with a ton of new accessories (more slutty in general).

Nya keeps the mechanic vibe but with more of the gray and blue colors and barely any red. She has huge trousers with bigger pockets and her tools attached under her belt, a sports bra (for the ladies ;)) and mech gloves. She keeps her goggles, which are a different color now.

Lloyd has a sports outfit similar to the previous one in the shorts and leggings. He keeps the puffy sleeve on his left arm, although it is now a standalone piece, and has bigger trainers. His color palette is black and white with neon/bright greens. He lost his arm in an accident with plants too: the affected area was on his upper arm so they had to remove the entire thing, and Jay made his prosthesis.

They all have more small details of their other siblings’ colors (for example Lloyd has the pins on his casual vest); also, and instead of having their respective RGB letters on a random part of their outfits they are now matching at the back of the three jackets. Some other details on them are the fire symbol in blue on Kai's bomber jacket and on Nya's military jacket, the label on the chest that reads "samurai", complete with its X on the arm sleeve.

Their more mature personalities make them live around more in the city, although practically nobody knows their true names still, while also not leaving behind the Outside or Echo (in fact, their expeditions tend to be longer now that they have more experience and overall strength and abilities).

Nya (still just known as “Blue”) actually works in her own workshop now, selling her works on her own. However, her stubborn, energetic and blunt personality has now matured into pure badass and she’s constantly looking for a fight, but nobody can touch her or at least seriously hurt her because she’s insanely strong.

Also, even if they do manage to actually harm her she has her brother Kai (“Red”) looking out for her, who can basically destroy anyone’s private life if they mess with any of their siblings through blackmail :). In fact, he’s usually seen hanging around in the Red district (they even mistake him for a prostitute sometimes lmao), which is where most of the juicy information is flung around, so he has no trouble getting sensitive information about anyone and anything in the city. In addition, he’s developed a calm and charismatic personality that lures people into their manipulative tactics to take advantage of virtually anyone he wants, but his temper can be frail sometimes, especially when his siblings are hurt in any way. But, when it comes to them, even though he is more protective of them as the older brother and can explode if they are treated badly, he still fully trusts them and their abilities and they all rely on and fiercely fight for each other like a team whenever necessary.

In contrast to his siblings, though, Lloyd tends to avoid conflict as much as he can: despite looking like a human neon sign with his jacket on, he always manages to scurry out of sight whenever he’s in trouble as the speedy, witty little monke he is. And the reason he gets caught up in so much drama is because he is extremely curious and, as they aren’t kids anymore, people now care about the demon trio’s meddling in their business quite a bit more.

In conclusion, as they grow, Kai, Nya and Lloyd become more intelligent and fleshed out in their own ways, and even though they still have no respect for society as a whole, they do keep some friends close to them. They love each other and Echo as the unique family they are, and always make sure they have each other’s backs no matter the situation.

Okay so I’m going with my own AU of me just being the companion of each doctor and like maybe stuff happening in between? I think at this point, the doctor wouldn’t really either admit if he does or doesn’t have feelings for me and ends up falling for someone else while we travel. Like maybe the Family of Blood happens or something in this universe and I get Martha-ed(she’s the loml and I’ll never forgive the show for doing her dirty) by him. This is just me being angsty.

Straw Hats Pokemon League AU

I don't think I'm the first to do this by any means but here we go! I started thinking of how I'd make a One Piece AU in a Pokemon game format. I tend to play fairly fast and loose with the way the teams are structured; I like the thing they did in Gen 9 where gym leaders get a Pokemon not from their assigned type to terastallize but I would also like to see more gym leaders oriented around certain themes or gimmicks than just mono typing. These are not even remotely balanced and the few that have some strategy like Nami's can go wrong super easily; they're very very vibes-based. The region’s an archipelago, and all the crew members are friends who live and work on separate islands. I’ve always liked regions in Pokemon with lots of islands and water and I just feel like One Piece settings could translate well to that. 

Grass Gym Leader Usopp– The Usopp pirates are his gym trainers/pupils, and you fight him after going through a puzzle full of funny carnivorous plants like those on the Boin Archipelago (ideally there's a quiz format involved and if you get an answer wrong you get attacked by, like, a low level wild bellsprout or carnivine). This one could honestly have been more strategically developed although Shiftree and Sudowoodo were absolutely necessary because a long-nosed creature based on a tengu and a fake tree with an identity crisis are perfect for Usopp. He loves his status conditions and is generally very annoying to go up against Initial team: Lotad, Bonsly, Nuzleaf Rematch Team: Shiftree, Sudowoodo, Amoongus, Ludicolo, Tangrowth, Vileplume Normal/Doctor?? Gym Leader Chopper–This was a difficult choice honestly! I thought about making him a fighting specialist for the kung fu point, but ended up choosing this instead. He's a very young GP and gym leader on a winter island, and he has to split his time between doing house calls with Kureha and his League obligations and the poor boy is *stressed*. Marowak is there because Chopper and his backstory give me Cubone/Marowak vibes. The Sawsbuck is actually not there because of its deer associations; it’s a springtime/cherry blossom Sawsbuck because of Hiriluk’s cherry blossoms, I thought of giving him a Stantler but I think one deer is probably enough for him Initial Team: Spring Deerling, Stufful, Marowak Rematch Team: Mega Audino, Spring Sawsbuck, Blissey, Bewear, Marowak, Alomomola Weather (??) Gym Leader Nami–specializes in double battles with her cast form. Lives on an island kind of similar to Cocoyasi, and she's got her own lighthouse and meteorology lab up on a hill surrounded by tangerine trees. This is extremely strategically fucky and near impossible to program into something functional but I wanted to give her every kind of weather power and Pokemon that could adapt to every field change and hack weather balls at people. Nojiko and Genzo hang around. Currently training a Hippopotas gifted to her by Vivi and working on Sandstorm strategies Initial Team: Castform (Sun), Snover, Ninetales, Castform (Snow) Rematch Team: Castform (rain), Pelipper (drizzle), Ninetales (Drought), Abombasnow (snow warning), Castform (sun), Castform (snow) Ghost Gym Leader Brook–Brook is a touring rock star whose gym is on a barge with a kinda spooky ambiance; the Rumbar pirates work there as live musicians and there's a bar and a big stage set up for concerts. They pull up around the twin capes looking for Laboon around the same time as the player reaches there and are very distressed when he can't find him at first. I kinda debated giving him a toxtricity like Rhyme in SV but that's been done before and Frosslass kinda plays into his ice attacks, so I'm kind of leaving it open ended. His gym's located near the twin capes, and he's a former rock star who's slowed down a bit and taken some time off his career to look more actively for Laboon, who went missing in this world instead of being left behind. Laboon is a Wailmer Brook met years ago that later joins his team after they reunite, by which point he's evolved into a Wailord. Initial Team: Duoblade, Dusclops, Houndstone Rematch Team: Aegislash, Dusknoir, Wailord (Laboon), Polteageist, Frosslass or Toxtricity, Houndstone

Steel Gym Leader Franky– Franky's gym is also on board a ship he built, and he's docked outside a kinda high tech water seven sort of crazy artificial floating island structure. It's very much like water seven–Iceberg and Paulie run the show–and the Franky Family are his gym trainers. I threw in Alolan dugtrio because of the hairstyles and revavroom for the Kurosai FR-U. Metagross is there because I like him having a psychic type to link him to Robin (they're married and live together on Franky's custom houseboat). I thought of giving him a Magnezone but Franky with a Tinkaton just seems very funny and weirdly well-suited to his character Initial Team: Alolan Dugtrio, Excadrill, Revavroom Rematch Team: Alolan Dugtrio, Excadrill, Revavroom, Metagross, Probopass, Tinkaton

Psychic Gym Leader Robin–I tried to give Robin a few Pokemon that were more weird lore/ancient ruin themed without being actual legendaries to fit with her being an archaeologist. She spends a lot of time doing field work (Clover is the region's Pokemon Professor and her mentor; it even plays into the plant naming scheme) on a protected island full of ruins that looks kind of like Skypeia. I'd love for this world to have some ancient lore for her to research and make regular story appearances without the kind of tragedy we get in canon. Initial Team: Medicham, Duosion, Sigilyph, Claydoll Rematch Team: Bronzong, Medicham, Beeheyem, Reuniclus, Sigilyph, Claydoll

Water Gym Leader Jinbei–Honestly it was a bit hard making this one feel uniquely suited to Jinbei? Palafin suits his character best imho, but it was difficult choosing fish that ween’t tied in some other way to other existing fishmen characters. There's no whale sharks yet either :p That being said, Jinbei is a ship captain who works with both the Pokemon League and the Sun Pirates, and brings the player to a Fishman Island equivalent underwater town, giving you either a dive TM or something equivalent to navigate underwater and opening up a whole bunch of new areas for the player to explore. Initial Team: Wishiwashi, Palafin, Swampert, Omastar Rematch Team: Wishiwashi, Palafin, Swampert, Omastar, Dondozo, Tatsugiri

Fire/Kicking??/Culinary-themed Gym Leader Sanji–I feel a bit bad I gave Sanji so many starters when I generally try to avoid that for gym leaders but there's just not that many Pokemon with blaze kick and it's a necessity for him! You meet as he's soft-opening his restaurant in the All Blue equivalent, and going through some growing pains striking out on his own from Zeff (who’s very supportive of his boy's dreams but bad at expressing it). I threw a Clawitzer in because I thought I should give him a seafood item, and Siebold (one of the few Pokemon chefs) has one as his ace in X/Y. His team can kinda be split into kicking pokemon (Cinderace, Blaziken, Tsareena) and food Pokemon (Arboliva, Clawitzer, Garganacl). Zeff has a Stoutland, and the only reason I gave him one is because it more or less has his facial hair. Initial Team: Cinderace, Blaziken, Garganacl, Tsareena Rematch Team: Cinderace, Blaziken, Garganacl, Tsareena, Arboliva, Clawitzer

Zoro is the Champion and Luffy is the final boss, but I'll save them and my chosen Elite 4 members for another time. I'm not going to try and build an evil team, but suffice to say since I'm trying to make this AU a bit more lighthearted, everyone lives and they're all doing good

everything about the au is so creative and well thought-out!! im soo so crazy about aubrey as pearl, the way they’re both so nice but turn their anger external?!?!! i’m sooo excited to see what the equivalent of the hooligans (? is that their name?) for pearl is because AUGH OUGH,,

and i LOVE cleo as kel, (double life here) because she’s the person who didn’t give up on scott, she swore to stick by his side no matter what AND i love the zombie spots being mirrored as patches of a loss of melanin,,,

AND i love scar as hero, they have the SAME VIBE, i know they were family in one of the series-s (??) and i like them being related, ESPECIALLY IF CLEO IS DYING HER HAIR, but scar definitely has hero energy, charming but slightly melancholic, he probably hits people with his crutches or rolls them over w/ his wheelchair, and i like how he goes from crutches (supposedly how scott last saw him) to a wheelchair, implying he’s gotten worse, like maybe he was so distraught over grian’s death that he stopped doing exercises/seeing a doctor/ something equivalent to that & made him physically AND mentally effected,

and scott ohhh my god scott. i’m a scott watcher primarily so i’m rlly happy he plays a big role, the switchout of scott + smajor as sunny + omori is GENUIS, and stronger than he appears aughh,,,, sunny and scott have so so many parallels, need i mention that scott dies and wakes up in a better afterlife twice and what is white space/dream world (forgot the name) except a better reality…. i love him being in monotone blue, i love the ends of his hair being blue (ie it grew out) and i LOVE that you mentioned that he would act like nothing changed because he WOULD do that, because if he doesn’t pretend everything’s the same he’d breakdown on the spot, smiles and waves off everyone’s concerns and AUGHHH
