I hate getting into something that has a canon(ish) sapphic couple, but I only end up caring about one of the two women 😭😭😭

#warrior nun? only cared about beatrice couldn't really get behind ava much #the locked tomb? INSANE for gideon. harrow is like cool I guess (I feel like I should like her more than I do idk)#and now dungeon meshi. I knoowwwww I'm going to love falin. 10 episodes in and I already find her relatable and awesome and so cool and sexy #AND SHE BECOMES A DRAGON LIKE FUCK MAN (she's still dead atm but soon soooooon)#marcille on the other hand?? bought some more shit from the vintage market today and was showing my coworker at work and she said that I have good style and that “if we were roommates she’d totally be nabbing stuff from my closet to wear” so I am winning today

#she has good style so I appreciate that #I take pride in wearing things I think look cool so I’m always happy when people notice #between that and complements about my nails it’s most of my self confidence #the stuff I bought from the market was damn cool too #favourite from today was probably the vintage quarter zip with really cool asymmetrical colour blocking #overall I bought 10 items 💀 spent about $200 I think but honestly #that comes to $20 a piece which considering that I got mostly outerwear high quality vintage or statement pieces #is pretty good bc the prices at that market can get absurd #I did pass up a few things which I’m sad about #there was a really cute green tee that said Canada Dry on it that I was eyeing but it was $45 and that seller didn’t do any last day sales #and a pair of vintage levis with a stunning wash (in my size!!) that were $75 and I just couldn’t justify #oh well #I had some pretty good scores so you win some you lose some

doing character design for live-action characters is fun bc like. in mediums where the characters' physical features have already been chosen with an artistic goal in mind the color schemes are basically never ambiguous. nobody's staring intently at a screenshot of Usagi going BUT WHAT COLOR ARE HER EYES I JUST CAN'T TELL they're blue. they're unambiguously, boldly, very obviously blue, because the artists involved picked a very blue shade of blue so you can tell they're blue. but real people's eye colors simply do not work that way! that degree of saturation is super uncommon which makes it less clearly defined! ex. I would say my eyes are a light blue, but absolutely would not fault anyone for interpreting them as grey; I read Alex's eyes as green, so I give River green eyes, but in text Elizabeth is referred to as having blue eyes, so I give Elizabeth blue eyes.

this ambiguity of real life eye colors though means sometimes I'll have decided on, like, hazel or brown for a character's eyes and then a fic will be like THEIR BLUE EYES and I'm like their what now

I went into the bathroom to refill my brita pitcher at the sink and Lucy was in the cat basket and noticed she had something...

Me: Hi Lucy!

and then, "I didn't put that there, that's not yours!"

At some point she stole a pair of underwear from the laundry pile about a foot away and dragged it into the basket to roll on.

I am considering kittens...more intensely...and up close. They are very wonderful, and greatly enjoy my coat pockets, as well as playing with my hair and ribbons, which is adorable but fairly distracting. Three of them, and then one, in my lap, which has been staring at me unblinking for several minutes and purring. I am taking this to mean she enjoys my company, and I truly relate.

hu tao, also gold accents, mahogany wood, smoky things, spider lilies unfurling in the dark. but it would be cool to edit her art so it’s more high contrast (darker outfit and hair) with stark black plum branches against winter snow

chongyun, white, clouds, wisps of chill wind. fluffy things and a big fur coat

majority red palette ningguang would also be cool
