OFFAL HUNT REMASTERED LIVEBLOG // CHAPTER 15
IN THIS EPISODE OF MURPHY LOSES THEIR SHIT ON MAIN:
“Tell her I said: fuck you, you miserable, conniving bitch. I don’t answer her summons. I don’t obey her orders. I’m through. I’m through with her, with all of you—”
THERE’S LORE, BUT IMPORTANTLY MURPHY REMEMBERS WHY THEY THINK CINDER’S HOT. LITERALLY.
already??? already??? yes, already. this chapter is called ‘nothing personal’ anmd i think that this is a lie. this is abt to get very personal very quickly.
It had taken two more days for Glynda’s soul to become bearable enough for Cinder to sit next to her on a bus.
out of the funniest lines they could have used to open the chapter up, this is just Peak. there’s so many moving parts to this. glynda’s rank soul. cinder having to be nice for TWO DAYS to make her chill out. the fact they’re taking the most menial form of transport of all time. oh my god they were sat beside each other. this is already so funny.
Gravity Dust glittered like volcanic glass.
👈😎👈 we sure love volcanoes around here huh
The clearing Cinder found was some twenty minutes from where she left Glynda with instructions for something salty for her.
im almost POSITIVE im not supposed to find these lines funny but cinder you are RADIATING salt you are COMPOSED ENTIRELY of salt please. you’ve asked for smthng salty and glynda’s gonna come back announcing she’s foiled all yr plans on accident again.
Mercury had stopped sending messages a month and a half ago. Emerald’s last one was a week old.
im almost definitely mentioned it in a prior liveblog but its worth remembering: cinder’s relationship w/ merc and em rly was the deciding factor in me suddenly loving her as a character and i just. every interaction they have hurts so good. cinders got TWO kids and even if her face says otherwise she loves them very much and that heals me on the inside
“There’s no way anyone knows about this island. We’re the only ones out here. Merc and I have to get his shitty frozen pizzas airshipped in.”
“Still. Be careful.” She paused for a moment. “...Is that all he’s eating?”
“You know he’d die before he ate a vegetable.”
“He will, at this rate.”
I LOVE U MOMMA CINDER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA this is SO good. this section HEALS ME!!!!!!!! which is good because i have a feeling the rest of this will gore me alive
"I promise. At the end of all of this, I'm coming back and I'm not leaving again. Trust me."
aaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA god u cant tell thru text alone but this section is K I L L I N G me and H E A L I N G me and also KIL L I
“It doesn’t have anything to do with trust,” Cinder said, miserably. “I need you to be safe.”
N G M E
The line between us and them had felt so concrete.
god i just. theres so much i still cant say that isnt 👈👈👈😨👈👈👈 but cinder and hati and all this other STUFF happening in the bg is so good and i just love how nuanced this dumbass is. cinder fall, the woman who never wins, and her brief moments of comfort. she is my ANGEEEEEEEEEEL
Now the only thing left was to deliver her to Atlas; if she had to speak with her more to do that, she would.
Not that she wanted to have to admit that to Hati.
cinder:there’s a lot of we and our going on and i’m a little nervous that the more we talk the more thats gonna happen and i gotta say; not a fan.
and [Glynda]’s desperate for—”
A heritage? A purpose? Belonging?
“She’s desperate,” Cinder finished, softly. Then: “She’s coming willingly.”
this might be another 👈😎👈 situation or im just drawing parallels like a three year old with a newfound ruler but HRM. CINDER. HRM.
Rather, her stomach twisted at the implications. Everything was ready. The machine worked. All that was left was to deliver the final piece.
“Okay. Good.” It was good. It was the culmination of years of work.
whats good and fun is watching cinder wrestle w/ her own humanity and its rly good because even as she tries her very best to use ppl to her own ends that pesky lil soft bitch inside makes her second guess everything and its GREAT fun. u can rly see that as soon as she spends longer than an allotted 10 minutes w/ somebody she starts being like ‘hrm. oh no’. oh cinder. u soft bitch. ilu.
The spot beneath his wing, though… Cinder folded into it as though it were meant for her, as though they were meant for each other, bodies fitted so easily. Here, safe, she closed her eyes and dreamed bleakly of the days to come.
i swear to god i cannot wait until [redacted] and [redacted] and [REDACTED] happens cause then i can lose my shit abt this ALL OVER AGAIN but for now. for now. immerse myself in cinder cuddles. im holding back but on the inside im feral
but Cinder was all calm, sliding through the trees like she belonged here. Like it was her domain by birthright.
FERAL.... FERAL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because they were not friends, Glynda asked, “Where are we going?”
i love that glynda has to preface it like a reminder. because they were not friends. because she cannot trust winter. because she blocked oz’s number lmao. it’s great seeing how much more... clinical, i guess, glynda’s thoughts are, and it’s a great way to show the narratives differences? its GOOD is what im trying 2 say on main,
Instead, she complained, “It’s so difficult to be so wanted.”
firstly: i love cinder “i have a complaint” fall is secondly: i am going to read into this. i am going to read into this and divine a second meaning. i am reading into it.
Cinder emerged from the dark like a leviathan sloughing off a sunless sea. It rippled around her shoulders, swallowed the back of her skull, but the only sharpness to her was her smile. It was the first time Cinder had smiled since returning from her meeting with the Manticore.
oho. ohoohohohoooohohohooOUGHHOHOHO she hot. nasty mean lady big hott.
“You don’t scare me,” Glynda insisted.
“Silly you,” said Cinder. “Come on. I’ll lead.”
hohogughgohohoghgh f flirtign.......................,,,,,,,,,.,.,.,.,.,.,.
a faint light was stirring to life before her—suffusing out along Cinder’s chest and throat, spilling from her heart and out through her skin. In the beginning, it was so faint it seemed to be an illusion; but no, soon enough it was undeniable, and Glynda could even make out the rough shapes of the wall and floor.
YEEEEEEEEES i love. glowy lantern cinder. like theres a lot of fun little canons abt cinder in this fic i adore but the fact that she glows is like fuckin TOP. look at her. lil candle baby. shes like a microwave bean toy. i adore her.
She walked like a queen through her domain, seemingly irrespective of where on Remnant they were; even here, underground, in forgotten left-behind places, Cinder reigned.
god im sorry im too busy being gay to even be paying attention to anything rn i LOVE cinder to DEATH,,,,,,,,,, she knows shes the thing 2 be feared around here and its so good. i cant wait for her to open her big mouth and fuck it up again!!!
“High Leader Khan requires your presence in Mistral, Ms. Fall. She advises that you attend promptly, in order to discuss the missing members of our organization.”
A hum. Cinder said, “I don’t want to.”
GHSDFGSDFGHKJDF cinder you are. smthng else. shes just so LIKE THAT. what a great chapter for cinder this has been im SIPPIN baby
okay im doing a lot of leaping haead here and its not for lack of having anything 2 say in fact its QUITE the opposite because this whole bit is. wow. we got lore??? lore??? abt so many things??? what does any of it mean????? I AM NOT SURE BUT IM LOVIN IT (tm)
“It’s not a Semblance, idiot.” The control in Cinder’s voice was all staccato, pitching cold to inferno in an instant. “It was a gift.
okay bear with me for this JUICY LORE but i am Deeply fascinated by this section. im not gonna. say anything because idk how this is tying up yet (bear with) but HOO. HOOOOOOO. im trying to like keep grabbing sections but this whole part is SO GOOD i am loving-- like-- id have to-- TRUST ME THE OG WASNT AS SPICY AS THIS OKAY
THIS IS SO MUCH SPICER AND ITS GOOD
Cinder glowed like the magma heart of a volcano.
ITS SPICY ITS GOOD ITS 👈😍👈
im gonna have to reread this bit to get the full effect because the downside of a liveblog like this is having to stop-start but OUGHGHGHGUGHUGH THE LORE,,, THE MASKS,,, THE FANG??? also sienna dont listen 2 her baby i love u too
Cinder looked like a line to be crossed, and even though they weren’t friends—rather the opposite—Glynda found she didn’t want to cross her. Not now, when the emotion was still raw on her face.
oughgh... the vulnerability. cinder... snoft... but also angery 😔
this was SUCH a good chapter im DYING i love cinder in offal hunt to BITS and this arc is already feeding me so much good shit. fuck yea. FUCK YEA. HELL YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA--

Kids Again
Kids Again Fandom: Voltron: Legendary Defender Pairing: Keidge Summary: And when I’m feeling small, You help me through it all. [link] Standard Disclaimer: If you read and enjoy this, please give it a like/ reblog so I know if I should write more. AN: Day 3 of KidgeFest fill! I just want to say that I have associated this song with Kidge since the first time I heard it and I am so grateful to have an excuse to advertise that fact!
He grew sick of the constant lectures he got from Kolivan pretty quick and simply adjusted to taking it in stride.
He knew he wasn’t supposed to go sticking his neck out to save other Blade members on missions. “We may work with Voltron,” Kolivan had said, sounding tired from having the conversation for yet another time, “but we are not them. The Blade has other priorities. Knowledge or death, Keith; that is what it means to be a member of the Blade.” He hated having to hear that phrase over and over again. It just reminded him that he didn’t belong there, with the rest of them. Sure, he was half-Galra like a good chunk of the other members, but he was like them. He didn’t bear any hint of his Galran heritage physically – due to never being injected with small doses of quintessenses as a child, he later learned – and he had spend so many years of his life participating in things that required teamwork that he wasn’t so good at that.
Pidge had once teasingly called him the lone wolf that actually looked out for an entire pack but it was more accurate than he’d like to admit.
He headed back to his own room in their headquarters and slumped against the small cot-like bed there. He’d just been reamed into because Nihaar had gone ahead and saved another member of the Blade while retreating from a Galra-hub with a device full of secret, coded files. It hadn’t been hard for them to figure out where she’d picked that habit up from, all things considered. The other Blade that she’d saved was furious when she woke up – actually tried to attack Nihaar for denying her the glory of death on the battlefield – and Kolivan warned that they would be permenantly kept from working together if the problem persisted.
Nihaar was one of the few Blade members that was good to Keith. She was more a friend than a comrade and he hated the idea of never getting to work with her again. He trusted Nihaar and knew she had his back in a way that only two other people in Keith’s life ever had. She was a great support and had taught him a lot about his Galran heritage that he never would have known otherwise. The older members of the Blade had no patience for his questions and curiosity, while Nihaar was always eager to tell him what she knew as long as he shared the Earth snacks he kept stashed in his room with her. There was only one other place in the galaxy that he felt comfortable being himself without fear of reprecussions.
“Geez, these windows are really easy to open, aren’t they?” An all too familiar voice goaded from the other side of his room.
Speaking of Keith’s limited safe places to fall.
He jerked upright and looked over, needing to verify that his ears had been right. There, with a small stereo playing quiet music, was none other than Pidge, sitting cross-legged in the slightly ajar mouth of the Green Lion. “What are you doing in my neck of the woods?” He asked, skeptical that she was actually here. Pidge had been on the Blade’s main base before – she was a Paladin of Voltron and his girlfriend, after all – but to see her here on personal business without him knowing was strange.
She shrugged, adjusting the boombox in her lap, and the little spurs on the leather jacket she was wearing clinked together softly. “I was just in the neighborhood… Figured I’d see if I could convince a pretty little thank like you to sneak out for a night on the town,” She said, winking playfully.
He snickered a bit and shook his head. “Kolivan would kill me if I did. I’m already in enough trouble with him as it is,” He said, shoulders sagging a bit as he remembered the previous conversation.
“What was he getting on you about this time?” Pidge asked, rolling her eyes a bit. She was probably the only other person as sick of Kolivan’s treatment of Keith than Keith himself, if he was honest.
“I guess Nihaar saved another blade from getting blown up after an intel gather went south. Now he’s threatening to break us up on missions if I don’t stop exhibiting behaviors that directly conflict with the initiative of the Blade,” He explained, keeping his gaze casted to the floor. Not too long ago, he would have gotten defensive or shut down at a question like that. Well, admittedly, he still tended to get a bit aggressive when he was pestered about what was wrong with him.
Unless the person asking was Pidge, that is.
“Are you kidding me?” She sputtered indignantly. She huffed and changed the tracks on her boombox to something a bit more intense to match her mood. “That’s absolutely stupid! The Blade numbers are already kinda pathetic compared to any other group we’re allied with! You’d think that maintaining what little they have would be a huge benefit! Want me to Allura on him? I know she’s having another meeting with all the groups in the coalition soon. I’m sure she’d have a field day dressing him down in front of a bunch of other leader-types.”
He chuckled and shook his head. “For as much as I appreciate that offer, I shouldn’t. The fact remains that I shouldn’t be doing things against Blade regulations,”
“You’ll never be able to fit in with them the way things are, Keith. You’re too genuinely loving and compassionate to abandon someone on the battlefield; consequences be damned,” She said in a gentle but serious tone. He paused and stared at her, meeting her blazing gaze. “That’s why you’re still doing it, even after all this time you’ve been working with the, and it’s honestly one of the reasons I love you so much. You’re a real softie underneath that edgelord exterior, and you won’t stop doing something when you know that you’re right, and I sincerely hope that you never do. The galaxy would be a lot better with more people that think like you in it.”
He opened his mouth to say something then closed it again, unsure of how to respond. He learned that, when Pidge was allowed to be honest, she could say things that were sincerely sweet. She – much like him – had a bad habit of shoving her foot in her mouth and being misinterpretted. He had dealt with that a lot growing up, too, and had been so relieved as he got closer to her and found it wasn’t like that. For the longest time they’d both apologize right after saying something that might be seen as harsh or rude, but the other would wave it off, completely unperturbed and understanding.
He knew what she was saying, both what the words meant at face value and the other message attached.
“Now, given that, it sounds like you absolutely need a night out. Get changed and get in the Lion,” She hummed with a small click of her tongue, setting the bookbox off to the side and crawling to the edge of Green’s mouth. If not for the fact the mechanical feline was nearly pressed right up against the building itself, he’d have panicked about her falling out.
“And where, exactly, are you planning to take me?” He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
She beamed at him, smug and proud. “We – Lance, Matt and I – may have found an illegal spaceship racing derby not too far off from here. Lance is planning to enter the race with Red. The rest of us – Matt, Hunk, Allura and the two of us – are going along for moral support. And to, you know, maybe do some gambling,” She explained, her tone completely casual.
Keith hummed then glanced back at the door to his room. “If Kolivan finds out I bailed -!”
“If Kolivan gets huffy, I’ll lie and tell him that it’s an Earthling courtship ritual or something. I always have a contingency plan, and if I don’t, I can cook one up like that,” She said, snapping her fingers for emphasis. She then clearled her throat and patted one of Green’s large metal fangs. “Now why don’t you get all dolled up for a trip on the space equivalent of a magic carpet?”
“I’ve flown a Lion before, you know,” He laughed, but he turned and headed towards the small closet regardless.
“Hey, I am being suave here. Don’t spoil my fun,” She tsked back at him.
“Have you been getting advice for Lance?”
“Rude. I haven’t gotten that desperate yet,”
“Not yet?” He teased back, disappearing into his closet to actuall change. He left the door cracked a bit so that he could keep talking to her.
“Give me some credit. I came here because I just had a feeling you were gonna need me, so I may not have figured this whole thing out ahead of time. Well, that I thought you’d enjoy going to the race. I know how much you like checking out the craftsmanship behind some of the self-built ships other non-Galran factions use,” She commented.
He smiled as he tugged up his jeans and slipped a belt through the loops. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little interested,” He agreed.
“Damn right you would be!” She laughed lightly.
“You know,” He called, tugging a shirt over his head, “isn’t this situation supposed to be the other way around? Like, you know, the guy coerces the girl to sneak out while Daddy isn’t looking to go to some risky event?”
“Have we ever followed the norms of a situation in our relationship?” She retorted as he opened the door, grabbing his jacket and shoving it on as he crossed the room to her. She stood up, one hand holding the handle of the boombox and the other extended to him.
“No, we haven’t. And I hope we never do; I like the surprise you bring to my life,” He said, smile wide and sincere and warm.
“Right back at you, Kogane,” She mused back, leaning up to give him a quick kiss. He tried to chase after her but she stepped back. “Ah, ah. You gotta wait until we get their if you want more.”
He chuckled and followed her into the cockpit, making a note to remind Pidge to leave hickies in less obvious places this time around. The hour-long conversation hed had with Zartula, another Blade general that was working with Kolivan, about the Galran equivalent of safe sex had been humiliating – hilarious to Pidge when she told him – and was something he’d like to avoid again.

Y’all Gotta Chill About Nicole Haught acting OOC
Post WE 2x08: I don’t understand why everyone’s saying Haught’s acting out of character and I definitely don’t understand why people are calling her toxic and unforgivable. This absolutely fits in with her previous behavior - even her “I can’t lie to her” line in 2x07. And here’s why.
My dudes,
She put the DNA test in her purse.
In her PURSE
She could have left it at home, or in her locker at the station, or in her car. But she left it in her purse. She intentionally brought it with her when she went to see Waverly. This proves a couple things.
1. Nicole absolutely did intend to give her the damn envelope.
2. Nicole felt guilty as fuck about it. So much so that she made it incredibly easy for the DNA test to be easily found.
But what about 2x07 when Nicole said “I Can’t lie to [Waverly]”?
Her line in 2x07 referred to when Waverly is talking to her. She’d never lie to her then, but she’s absolutely capable of being dishonest. She didn’t outright tell Waverly she’d let Wynonna drag her  to the strip club, and she did attempt to deny that they were at one. In that instance, she was trying to be Wynonna’s friend and let Wynonna do what she needed to do. It was only after Waverly pressed her that Nicole spilled the beans. So she can’t and won’t lie, but that doesn’t mean she feels the need to tell Waverly absolutely everything outright (especially things she thinks Waverly wouldn’t be happy about). In the case of the DNA results, Nicole thought they’d upset Waverly and thus didn’t tell her she had them. But when accused of opening them, Nicole didn’t try to deny it (even if doing so would have meant Waverly was less pissed at her). So this seems totally in character.
But she opened her mail and was trying to hide the results from Waverly! That’s so bad! Why would she do that.
And this is where I, (totally unpopular opinion), totally sympathize with Nicole Haught.
Waverly Earp’s been worried about her Earpy status since season one, and Nicole was the first other person she told about it. Back than, this was a rumor spread by a demon who’d very nearly killed the whole town with poisoned Champagne. Nicole didn’t have a high opinion of Bobo Del Ray’s honesty or character and doesnt now, nor was she aware of the extent of Waverly’s particular trust in him. So when Waverly is worried she isn’t an Earp because Bobo said so, Nicole automatically assumes the demon’s trying to mess with Waves’ head (even says as much).
That’s why she was so eager to support Waves doing the genetic test. She thought it would prove Bobo had lied. She thought it would be the hard evidence Waverly needed to be affirmed in her identity.
I think perhaps, over the course of season 2 with Wynonna’s pregnancy arc, Nicole’s gotten to see just how much the thought of not being an Earp is getting to Waverly. And she’s also probably learned way more about Waverly’s past than she did when she initially floated the idea of genetic testing. She probably knows now that Ward was especially neglectful of Waverly. She has probably learned that Willa believed Waverly wasn’t an Earp. She’s probably heard more about Bobo and has a better understanding of his and Waverly’s relationship.
At the same time, all of season 2 has happened: Waverly’s possession and near death at the hands of Mictian. Nicole’s protective instincts are more than certainly through the roof after that.
And then we get to 2x07
Given that she’s spent the whole day with Wynonna trying to help her investigate her own baby Daddy, perhaps Waverly’s own situation was on her mind as well.  If it was so likely a possibility that Doc wasn’t the father of Wynonna’s child, maybe that threw her previous certainty that Waverly was an Earp into more doubt.
Throw in the uncomfortable realization that Wynonna’s kid could be half-demon, and it’s no wonder Nicole’s a little worried about Waverly’s own origins, or worried that Waverly will be worried.
2x08 looks like it happens quite close to the events in 2x07 if the Earp sisters’ conversation by the lake is any judge. Nicole’s still thinking about half-demon kids and baby-daddy what ifs and everything they’ve just learned about Wynonna’s kid is making Nicole take another look at all the evidence that Waverly isn’t an Earp. Nicole’s probably freaking out.
Was she wrong? What if Bobo was telling Waverly the truth? What if her dad or her mom or both her parents really aren’t Ward and Michelle Earp? What if, heaven forbid, Waverly’s some part-Purgatory-evil-nasty. That’s ridiculous right? Of course it’s ridiculous. Why’s she even thinking it?
But Jonas did say it had happened before?
How many times before? To who? Why is she listening to what that rev-head said? What if Waverly’s part-demon? That… that can’t be true. She won’t let it be true. Was that why Willa hated Waverly? Was that how Bobo knew she wasn’t an Earp?
But he was just messing with Waverly, Nicole would have kept insisting to herself. Waverly was the Earpiest Earp. That was true. there was no way she and Wynonna weren’t sisters.
Funny how the more you repeat things to yourself the more you start to doubt them.
All keyed up from the revelation of “Potential Demon Baby” in 2x07 and a short time after, she sees that DNA results have come in about Waverly Earp.
I’d bet you my left arm Nicole opened those without a thought to the fact that it was a federal offence. This is the same woman who illegally bugged Tucker Gardener’s phone. She didn’t even think about protecting Waverly in that moment. She opened it to assure herself. A completely impulsive move born of sitting on her own worries and fears. She’d open the envelope and it would say that Waverly and Wynonna were sisters. It would show that fucking Boby Del Ray was wrong. It would mean Nicole could stop thinking about him, and Jonas, and all Purgatory’s other evils. Because there was no way that any of the things Nicole has spent season 2 worried about are true. There’s no way Waverly isn’t an Earp.
It takes Nicole 2 seconds to say fuck it and unseal the envelope. It takes 2 seconds to pull out the lab results and look them over. And look. And look.
And Waverly isn’t an Earp. Rather than proving Nicole’s fears wrong, it’s only proven them right.
Moreover, this is not going to be a result that reassures Waverly about who she is. Protective Nicole wonders if this is really something she needs to see.
Waverly…
30 seconds after opening the Envelope I bet you Nicole’s eyes went wide as saucers because oh shit she really shouldn’t have fucking opened that. She would have carefully folded the lab results, tucked them into the envelope, resealed it because Waverly doesn’t need to know she opened it. Waverly ought to have been the first one to know her own lab results. And Nicole knows it and Nicole feels guilty as fuck about it.
And Waverly isn’t an Earp.
Nicole probably sat at her desk staring at the envelope until the end of her shift. Knowing she ought to give it to Waverly. Knowing it wouldn’t do a damn thing to help Waverly. Knowing this was not the result she thought they’d get when she’d convinced Waverly to do the test to prove Bobo Del Ray was a fucking liar.
And now… how can she possibly give it to Waverly now? when she’s worried about the baby and Wynonna and the Widows how can Nicole let her worry about her heritage too???
There has… got to be a better time to give them to her. And Nicole’s absolutely going to. She thinks about locking them up, but feels too guilty about that. So she puts the resealed envelope in her purse and decides that when there’s a good time, or when they know Wynonna isn’t carrying a three-headed devil spawn, or when they’ve got a handle on the Widow situation, once they know those things, then she can give Waverly the envelope.
She absolutely knows her purse isn’t a good place to keep these. She knows she should put the envelope back and let someone else give it to Waverly like it hasn’t been opened. But she wants to give it to Waverly herself. She wants to be there for her when she finds out she isn’t an Earp. Because if there needs to be another crisis in Waverly’s life, at least Nicole can control when it happens. At least she can make sure the world isn’t ending when Waverly finds out.
And maybe, by putting it in her purse, she is setting the stage for Waverly to find it. Oh yes, Nicole rationalizes that decision by thinking that she needs to have the envelope on hand for the perfect moment to break the news to Waves… but in actuality? This is another manifestation of her own discomfort with lying. She really doesn’t want to keep Waverly in the dark. She really does want to be honest. She also wants to protect Waverly at all costs. Instincts are at war with eachother.
Nicole put the envelope in her purse. And Waverly found it. And Waverly called her over-protective and accused her of treating Waverly like a child and Waverly’d heard Nicole say I love you for the first time and it hadn’t budged her fury an inch.
And Okay, Nicole knows she deserved that. She probably turned to the bar, banged her fist on the counter and called herself seven kinds of an idiot for opening the envelope in the first place and then for hiding it, and then for dropping the “L word” during an argument. Waverly’s pissed and Nicole’s upset and Waverly isn’t an Earp. And while that opens up a whole other can of worms Nicole’s been desperately trying not to look at, she thinks then she has no right to be the one freaking out. Waverly’s the one with that right. And Waverly has every right to be mad.
It’ll occur to Nicole later that Waverly hasn’t said I love you too yet. And Nicole’ll feel miserable about it. But she’ll know she opened the envelope and tried to hide it and really really shouldn’t have. And she’ll think she deserves it
Nicole Haught loves Waverly Earp. And love clouds her judgement just like any other human. Is she going to make other stupid mistakes for Waverly? Yes, absolutely. She’s in too deep to make good choices all the time. Is Waverly gonna be pissed at her. Yes, and she has every right to be. But she’s gonna talk it out with Nicole like an adult and they’re both gonna have a stronger relationship afterwards. And then they’re both going to go and make other stupid mistakes for each other. It happens. They’re humans. Not unicorns.
