Keith trains Pidge. And he does something VERY disgusting ( pidge says so herself and she's right.)

After training, he would give her a nice and SWEATY hug... He does it on purpose to make her run a bit more..

Of course he doesn't do that all the time, but he thinks it's pretty funny... And also, he says that "nothing can stop me from having a good hug from you, not even sweat."

Pidge: ? *cocks her head to the side*

Matt: Is Keith hurting you?

Pidge: W-what? No! Why would you ask that?!

Matt: I'm not blind and stupid Katie, you're wearing long-sleeves when it's 100 degrees outside, and I saw the red marks on your wrist from the baggy sleeves of the labcoat.

Romelle: Please, tell us the truth, Pidge.

Pidge: *has an angry, confused look on her face, pulling her sleeve up to see her wrists, eyes going wide*

Pidge: Oh, oohhhhh...

Romelle: I look at Keith as a brother, but ifnyou need help-

Pidge: *starts laughing*

Pidge: *covers her face in embarrassment*

Matt: *goes from confused to horrified*

Romelle: *starts laughing*

Keith comes back in to see Pidge's face is as red as his jacket, Matt can't look him in the eye, Romelle nearly falling out of her chair

Keith: What did I miss?

Romelle: *stops laughing just enough* I recommend silk, rather than rope. Helps clear up confusion.

Last night I dreamt that Earth's tech level was a little more advanced, and Pidge, her family, and Shiro were part of a colony ship that got captured by the Galra.

Pidge was rescued by a rebel organization, but in order to be allowed to join she had to give up her name and accept the code name they gave her. I don't remember the full code name (it was long in the style of Blood of Eden names), but the last two words of it were Peach Hippo.

This intrigued Keith, who in this 'verse had been raised by the Blade of Marmora and whose only knowledge of hippos was a stuffed animal that looked like a red Moo Deng.

Day 4 Cozy

Keith was sitting on the couch, feet up on the coffee table. He got back from the last mission with minor injuries. Told to stay home and rest. Which he did. He slept for about a day or two. But now he was done. And wanted his girlfriend.

Unfortunately, she was on a top-secret project. So here he was. Sitting on the couch, watching some movie that Katie loved so he could feel closer to her. He had blankets, a fire, and Cosmo at his feet. He had popcorn, pop, and candy.

It was just like she said. Yet, he felt no peace. No joy. All he could think of was how much he missed her smirks, smart-ass comments hell, even the way she was always leaning on him like he was her personal wall. Leaning his head against the back of the couch, he closed his eyes. Maybe he was a little tired still.

Keith felt a gentle scratch on his head and sleepily smiled. He opened his eyes looking into Katie’s concerned gaze.

Whispering she says, “Hey Keith, how are you feeling? I found the key in the garage and let myself in. Sorry if that’s a bit presumptuous but I knocked, and you didn’t answer.” She leaned down and kissed him on his cheek and then moved lower to his jaw, chin, and neck.

Feeling warm, he pulled her down on top of himself and snuggled down on the couch with her. Grabbing a blanket off the floor, he smiled and replied, without thinking, “Why don’t you keep that key for yourself? So when you are done with your projects you can come home.”

He blinked. Fuck. He said home! Rapidly trying to think of an excuse, he stutters, “Um, well, I mean-“.

Katie puts her fingers on his mouth and nods. “Sounds good babe. Now shhh, I’m so damn tired, I honestly don’t know the last time I actually slept.”

Silence. After a few minutes, Keith looked down and could see that she had already fallen asleep. Maneuvering her to a more comfortable position, he closed his eyes. This was so cozy and warm. This feeling, this was home. This is what he was waiting for.

I am still forever screaming of the what could have been—should have been with Keith and Pidge meeting before the Kerberos mission launch like! I feel like it would have benefited their friendship and relationship more as the series went on.

Especially considering their partnership as the right and left arm of Voltron, the sword and shield and later with Keith being the leader and Pidge his go to for the analytics much like she was for Shiro early on.

The potential 😭 im forever crying— anyways I’m so happy and proud of this ✨ I hope y’all enjoy 🌿🔥

This maybe the last kidge post for a while, I want to get back into drawing mi tigre and more of my selfships ;;w;; I still have ideas for these two, especially things and fic based draws!
