i hear your "Coulson is an Avengers BNF in the MCU that Kamala knows about and is excited to meet at the next AvengerCon" and raise you: the fanfiction side of the superhero fandom would be much smaller, so everyond there generally knows each other. Coulson has betaread a couple of Kamala's fics.

i see a lot of talk going around about how the team were terrible to daisy after 5x14 and one person even said that it was basically a darvo situation, and i want to add my opinion to the pile, cause i disagree with that a lot. i also generally have a problem with how people tend to defend their favourite to the absolute while villainizing almost every other character in this discourse. they all deserve equal amounts of empathy.

lets get a few disclaimers out of the way first: from my perspective, what happened wasnt anyones fault, they were all victims in this situation. fitz cant be blamed for having a psychic split, daisy had every right and more to react the way that she did, thats not even a discussion. it was also just absolutely the right decision, fitz wasnt trustworthy anymore after that. he absolutely did care about what he did though, he mentioned how he was scared by how he still thought he did the right thing at least twice. thats not the same thing as being horrified at what he did exactly, but the reasons for his split didnt go away just because it happened, and this is about as close as you can get in this situation i think. i also think his whole " i didnt have a choice" shtick was more about him trying to make sense of what happened rather than trying to deflect blame, because he generally lacks empathy for other people a bit and getting defensive and not considering whether that is appropriate right now is perfectly in character for him (still terrible on his part despite all that though, and this is probably where the darvo thing comes from as far as it concerns him). now:

the way i see the aftermath of that episode is that with everything still happening, coulson gone and possibly (definitley, its hydra) being tortured for intel, the end of the world still fast approaching, and daisy still being convinced its somehow gonna be her fault (especially after having her powers restored), none of them could allow themselves to break right now. and crucially: noone blamed daisy for the way she reacted or attacked her for it. may thought she wasnt ready for coulsons job after literally just being tortured, and she was right about that, that was way too much pressure to put on her after that (despite that, i still think daisy did a good job, but she shouldnt have had to). mack agreed with daisy fully. simmons was definitley not okay anymore after what happened and acted increasingly irrationally. she just watched her husband torture her best friend while being held at gunpoint by a robot he programmed, after which daisy had no time to talk to her and fitz was locked in a cell and disillusioned about who he was. she was essentially alone to deal with the situation.

it doesnt excuse what she did, but i also dont think she wouldve acted the way she did if she was fully sane at that point. i mean, she risked swallowing literal acid because she thought she was invincible due to knowing she makes it past the worlds destruction. before this, she was very, starkly different. those are not the actions of someone whos secretly a sociopath like many regularly accuse her of being, theyre the actions of someone who has been pushed completely past their breaking point. as for yoyo, she lost her goddamn arms and was absolutely convinced that daisys path was going to lead to the entire worlds destruction. and that was what she was mad at daisy about.

this was the entire tragedy of that situation: its not a question of fault. they all acted terribly towards each other, and they all had good reasons for it, even if they were being unfair or vicious. it just happened.

so they all pushed what fitz did aside for the moment to focus on the mission, but its literally the main factor of what drove the team apart for the rest of the season, because daisy was focused on her interpretation of the prophecy and wasnt gonna trust fitz or anything he said anymore, simmons and yoyo were convinced he was right and felt daisy wasnt listening to them, and then they managed to scrape themselves back together as a team, just barely, and saved the world, losing both coulson and fitz in the process. in my headcanon the team patched up most of their differences after 5x22, based on how it ended, flashbacks and mentions from season 6 as well as the team being friendly with each other again, and the fact that this show isnt the kind to just ignore events like this, if things are radically different between seasons its safe to assume that stuff happened off screen, not that the writers were lazy. losing two members of their shared family probably also provided them with some perspective and reminded them of how much they all mean to one another.

and this hit all of them very hard, and they all dealt with it in their own way without involving the others. all of them, not just daisy. mack focused on his job 100%, may and elena helped him, simmons went to space to find fitz and daisy came with her because everything reminded her of coulson and theyre each others best friend. when they all came back together, they had managed to somewhat move on from what happened and probably werent to keen on bringing it up again. i mean we saw how sarge had them all bent out of shape because he had coulsons face. they were not over it. nevermind the fact that they had another alien invasion on their hands at the time.

Okay but

Peggy gets a call one day from Steve returning from a mission. He's late but that seems to be his montroe. Shes not worried, it's only when Jarvis says that there's one extra person on board the jet, beyond Steve, Natasha, and Clint, does she worry.

Steve had picked up a what?? A passenger? Hostage? No he wouldn't do that unless its vital. That's more Natasha's role. But Jarvis had specifically said Steve. Captain Rogers.

She gets no answers until they arrive and Steve is the last to exit. He's holding a bundle in his arms, battered, and barely together and all she can do is stare as he exists.

"Its a...a..." He tilts the makeshift swaddle of his undershirt and she gasps. Its a baby boy. Somehow and perhaps its instinct from being an Avenger or its because she knows Hydra.

It's theirs.

Somehow.

The DNA confirms it and Peggy's world crashes as shes forced to expose the truth to her friends.

Not an unusual one they hadnt heard before or been through before but she can't look at Steve as she explains everything.

That she was once Hydra. That she was kidnapped as a child in the 40s and experiment on, grew up in their labs like some experiment and done unspeakable things.

She was pulled out by Fury and slowly rehabilitated by Coulsons help.

She remembers all she did - including getting a sample of Steve's DNA through the early days of Shield.

And combined with her "water down" serum and Steve's, they created the child in the lab.

At least that was the idea.

She didnt know theyd done it after she'd been pulled and everything destroyed and shut down.

Perhaps a last chance to save the program.

And its selfish what she does - leaving the tower with Steve and their child because they're not even dating yet but she is close to him. He's her best friend and she might love him.

She's not surprised Steve finds her later that night, sitting ontop of a building to watch the city down below.

"Everything you did was forced and out of your hands." Hes trying to soothe her guilt. Her pain. He believes his words but she doesnt. "No one blames you. No one is mad you were Hydras prop. You..."

"Tainted. I'm tainted. I-I worked to destroy them when cleared for missions. To take my life back. To save others and I failed. If they made one child then there must be others."

His broad shoulders shrug as he takes her hand. "We don't know. Tony and Clint are searching anything they can find in the system. Natasha is working on going through Shield."

"Who has...the..." She can't say it. Steve's eyes soften.

"Thor. When I left, he was singing an Asgardian song to lull him to sleep."

Silence laps between them and he must be reading her thoughts.

"Stay." Hes almost begging. "No one hates you. You dont...have to care for the babe or even look at him if he upsets you. We can work around that but just stay. Because I-I need you."

touch: since daisy grew up in the foster system, she didn't have much experince with physical touch. she developed this love language during her time at SHIELD, being comforted by her teammates, simmons caring for her injuries, mack's bear hugs, etc

acts of service: daisy will do anything for the people she loves, including acts of service like putting herself in danger on a mission so others dont have to, checking up on Fitz and Simmons when they're up late working, making food for the team even though she can't cook that well

quality time: this is a rarity inbetween missions but it means alot to daisy if she spends it with the people she loves. and, because they have such a limited amount of free time it just makes spending time with daisy all the more meaningful

jemma simmons

words of affirmation: words of affirmation are a daily occurance with simmons, especially around her team, phrases like "you're doing amaizing" "you got this" "don't worry about it, you're going to crush it" "brilliant idea" "i'm here for you"

acts of service: she likes to check up on people when theyre stressed, buy things at the store that they know the person will like, and other actions like that

touch: simmons has never been a really physical person, always choosing comforting words over touch but that doesnt mean she doesnt like it. she will still place a comforting hand on her teammates back when she reassures them, she will hug her teammates (mostly daisy) after they get back from a life-threatening mission, and things like that

leo fitz

words of affirmation: his dad always undermined him so when somone else accomplishes something (especially someone he loves) he'll shower them with words of affirmation. he wants to make sure that no one else goes through what he did, so he'll voice his opinion like "that's such a brilliant idea" "thats good, perfect actually" "absolutely brilliant" "that's what i was missing, you're a lifesaver" or just a simple "thanks, you're amazing" accompanied by one of his signature gentle smiles

acts of service: sometimes words speak more than actions, especially with fitz. when his injury is acting up or when words sometimes seem too hard, he shows his love through acts of service (like doing things for you around the base, grabbing you your jacket when it's cold, etc)

mack hammer

touch: shows affection through touch ex. bear hugs, shoulder pats, putting a hand on your back to let you know that he's there

quality time: spending time with you in the workshop/in the lab is also how he shows affection

words of affimation: is probably from his natural leadership skills but he always says things like "great idea, turbo" "i've got you, tremors, i've got you" "hey, we don't give up. i know you, i know all of us, we're all stronger than we know it and we can't give up now"

acts of service: will get tourtured for you. enough said.

"words of affirmation": this is in quotations because bobbi shows her affection through tough love. it's not sappy or obvious but the people on her team know that when she says "don't die out there, okay? or else i'll kill you" it means that she cares

"words of affirmation": once again, this is in quotations because it's the same tough love that bobbi gives. it may sound like he's arguing and/or insulting you but if you look past that, his words show that he truly cares

quality time: will drink beers with you to show his love. maybe even provide you with said beer if lucky

touch: dad hugs, pats on back, wrapping an arm around you, holding your shoudler, rubbing your back, anything a dad does basically

words of affimation: dad jokes, "you're doing great kid "i love you" "yes! you did it!" and having those dad moments like "i missed you two working together? didn't i? dang it!" (also checking up on you after missions)

acts of service: will fight off an army for the people she loves, checks everyones wepons before a mission and will switch them with her own if she finds that it's deffective in some way, makes sure no ones looking before she does it, but everyone knows anyways, stealthy but not so stealthy

gift giving: is like a angel or something because she always leaves her Bus Kids sandwiches/premade meals on the counter when she knows that they haven't eaten all day (doesn't announce it though, she just knows that they'll find it and takes amusemnt each time when they find them + hiding her grin when they ask around "do you know who keeps on leaving food out for us?")

do they...do they live in the lighthouse or do they have their own apartments? or maybe they moved in together?

when would their anniversary be? like when did they get together officially?

did sousa get more shovel talks? from fitz and coulson and may and jemma and basically daisy's entire family?

did fitz fanboy about daniel sousa the way jemma would fangirl if peggy carter joined their team? did he see the probability of sousa joining them as a high probability or was it just a slim chance?

would coulson ask sousa about the ssr and his early days in shield?

did they reunite with bobbi and hunter?

does daisy finally come clean about the time loops? would coulson tell them about the time loops that only he remembers?

where would they go for their first date? would they go on a first date?? would daisy ask him out or would sousa broach the topic first?

is sousa close with kora? do they have inside jokes about being people out of time? is he like someone she would look up to, after daisy?

and and andddd daisy and sousa is endgame right? so that means that they'll stay together, like together together til the end of their lives basically, right? and mack and yoyo tooo? and ofcourse thank goodness fitzsimmons will too. right?

i know the show has been over for like half a year but i hope it lives on forever. i hope more people will keep finding it and loving it. and even though im not ready to rewatch it all because they keep hurting daisyyy, i will one day. and i cant wait til i go through the rollercoaster that is agents of shield again. im glad they had a happy ending that's bittersweet and shows that life goes on. but i just wanna see it. the happy side of it. not the ending part. so u know...something like a soft epilogue like i mentioned above. anywayyyyyy this had been such a ramble of a post. i know it's what fanfiction is for, to speculate and write our own story with these characters and what we wanna see. but honestly i just want these to be cannon.

Ok, so rn it’s 1 AM, and I should be sleeping or doing my dental app, but technically past midnight is saturday so... I did this. Hope you enjoy!

Ok, we are going to do this in my canon, aka no infinity war or endgame, just happy avengers where Peter could attend Tony’s wedding as the flower boy

Speaking of weddings, yours and Tony’s was utterly perfect. Both of them. You had two, one in private with close friends and family and one with restricted papparazzi presence

You and Tony had a wonderful vacation on a secluded island. “To live that everyman, commonplace experience,” he had said.

After a day, he caved and installed Friday so the two of you had some assistanace

It felt nice to be bored with him. 

During this time, you and he discussed where next? You could live in the Tower with the other Avengers. Maybe his reconstructed Malibu home. Or the penthouse he had in New York. Or perhaps somewhere completely new. Suburbs? Rural? Another city home?

New York, while it definitely had its charming moments, was more associated with trauma and fallouts. So, while the two of you kept your shared floor at the Tower, the penthouse was offered to Peter. When he declined, it was given to Bruce. 

The suburbs wasn’t ideal either. Rural sounded nice, but Tony still had a job. He wouldn’t feel like himself if wasn’t near trouble. He had that superhero complex. Plus, he was still the face of Stark Industries. It wouldn’t be ideal to fly back and forth everyday

The Malibu house was beautiful, but it was also associated with... explosions. 

So that was offered to several Avengers, but in the end, Phil Coulson and his team accepted it, on the condition that they wouldn’t use any SHIELD tech under the roof. 

You and Tony weren’t too far away. An hour drive. In a house Tony and you designed during your honeymoon. 

And when the two of you moved in was the same day you found out you were pregnant. It wasn’t all that surprising. A long honeymoon with Tony Stark? It would be more of a surprise if you weren’t pregnant.

All the Avengers flew out to see you in the new home and to attend the baby shower. Rhodey, Pepper, Happy, Bruce, and Peter were named godparents of your future child.

Everyone took bets. Rhodey bet the highest that it was going to be a boy, with your kindness and Tony’s wit. Pepper and Steve bet the highest that it was a girl. 

You didn’t really care for names. You were more for rubbing your tummy and staring in awe that Tony’s child was inside. 

Your husband, however, “You know, fuck it, just name it after me if it’s a boy, and after you if it’s a girl. Done.”

“You’re risking them being called Junior,” you stated simply.

He was quiet for a moment. “Fuck.”

You patted your stomach. “Don’t worry, kiddo. I’ll teach you when it’s appropriate to say those words and when it’s not.”

He scrambled to talk to your belly. “And be sure that I will break every one of those rules and won’t ever forgive myself every single time.”

You laughed. “You’re gonna do great.” You kissed his nose and ruffled his hair. “You’re gonna be a great dad.”

Tony babyproofed everything. He also promptly tripped over every babygate. 

While talking to Rhodey and sorting through photos, he named off his family members. “That’s Bill, best cook. I’ll bring you some leftovers next time.”

You stared at the old man in the photo. He was behind everyone else, but he was making a silly face in nearly every photo you’ve seen him in. “Who’s this?”

Rhodey nodded. “Ah. That was my great uncle. He was hilarious. I couldn’t spend a second in his presence without laughing.”

Tony grabbed the photo and sniffed. ‘What’s his name?”

“Morgan.”

You and Tony looked at each other, already knowing what the other was thinking. 

Rhodey was more scared than excited. “Ok, whatever it is, I’m not involved.”

Tony stopped him before he could leave. “Relax. It’s not like I came up with a weapon that I could name after your great uncle.”

“What?”

He smiled and wrapped you into his embrace. “I found a child to name after your eccentric great uncle.”

Rhodey was... speechless. “Guys, you don’t have to.”

“No.” You smiled. “You’ve done so much for us. Plus, Morgan Stark has a nice ring to it.”

“Boy or girl,” Tony said. 

And so, when the day came, a little girl named Morgan Harriet Stark came into your lives. She was a quiet little girl, and when Tony first held her, he was terrified.

He kept stalling. Saying that you should be holding her, skin to skin contact, and all this scientific nonsense about you possibly being depressed without her and about how his body wasn’t the ideal temperature. 

Still, you pushed his daughter towards him, until finally, you could see your husband hold your baby girl in his arms for the first time. 

To people who said love at first doesnt doesn’t exist, has never seen a parent lay eyes on their child. Because when Morgan was in her father’s arms, squirming and barely opening her eyes, he was entranced. He had the softest smile on his face, and his eyes were ever so wide, trying to take in a sight too beautiful.

Your husband couldn’t say anything, except, “Hi there.”

Morgan cooed, and Tony looked scared for a moment, but she settled again as he rocked his baby back and forth. He smiled brightly, and without taking his eyes off Morgan, he said, “This girl’s going to take over the world. Look at those eyes.” He laughed. “I think we did the world a service.”

“Why’s that?”

“We just made the most beautiful, most intelligent, most perfect little child.” 

The godparents saw her first. Everyone cried upon seeing her. (Except Pepper. She simply teared up an said, “A miracle, a Stark that’s quiet.”)

When she was finally introduced to the insane family called the Avengers, she put on a show, gurgling and fussing about, only crying when someone else started to sob. 

You tried to stay awake. After all, seeing all the Avengers cramped into one hospital room was quite funny. 

but, soon you were asleep, and dear sleeping Morgan was being passed around to each of her new aunts and uncles while her father fretted and held her every once in a while. 

Tony was a wonderful father. He might have been a tad too attentive, but still, he always took time for her.  Plus, having an inventor husband had its perks. A cradle that rocked itself, state-of-the-art baby monitors, toys that spoke. 

Friday was a great babysitter if need be. 

And Tony took his time to love you as well. He was rich! And universe forbid you be without your favorite things for even a day. You wanted some new clothes after giving birth. Sure! Take his credit card. You want to order ice cream? Friday can do it right away. You want to research the best preschools in the area? He will sit next to you as you do your research. 

“Magoona is growing up well.” He’d say climbing into bed with you.

“I wonder why.” You kissed him and snuggled into his embrace. “You’re a good dad.”

“Says the mother who carried her and feeds her.” He kissed the top of your head. “So, you wanna give her another sibling?”

I HOPE THIS DOESNT SOUND TOO WEIRD but maybe a deke prompt where he had been dating Trevor instead of Sequoia? And like, the betrayal Deke feels that his fucking boyfriend was a SHIELD operative and it's totally up to u if trevor's feelings are real or not!! and maybe the team's reaction to it, and all of that gknhknh

He didn't know when it happened.  It could have happened slowly, or faster than the blink of an eye and he wouldn't have noticed.  All Deke Shaw knew was that he loves Trevor Kahn.

Trevor had been around since before the company was, longer than almost anyone else in Dekes life. 

Deke noticed he was in love late at night, typing out the beginning of the code for a game he didn't even have a name for yet.  Trevor was asleep on the couch, and Deke glanced back and noticed how cute he was.  That's when it hit him.

And he didn't question it, just started noticing more things to love about Trevor.  And he started vocalizing some of the things he loved. 

"I love your hair like that."  Deke said in passing one day, like it was completely natural.

"I love the way you did that whole-" Deke used his hands to gesture what he couldn't say with words, excited after a beta test of their game.

"You're amazing, and I love you."  Deke smiled as he accepted a hot mug of tea that was practically half sugar.

"Why don't you drink coffee?"  Trevor asked as he sat down in his chair with his own drink.

Deke shrugged and started typing his code out again.  "My grandparents got me hooked on it.  And tea tastes infinitely better than coffee."

Trevor scoffed, bringing his coffee up to drink.  "Your grandparents are crazy."

"They're from the UK."

"If anything, that makes it worse."  They both laughed, and Deke finally looked away from his screen.  "Now I'm picturing you going to a British prep school, and it's horrible."

"Okay, that's not fair."  Deke spun in his chair to fully face his friend.  "I've never been to a prep school.  And don't disrespect tea."

"Sorry to offend you, sir."  Trevor put on a horrible fake British accent.  "Innit?"

Deke rolled his eyes and hit Trevor's arm lightly.  They were both laughing again, and they were sitting so close in the empty room.

"I love your laugh."  Deke blurted out.  He drank some more tea to hide his face when Trevor went silent.  He set the mug down and they stared at each other.

Trevor looked like he was thinking about something, something important.  Deke sighed and went to turn back to the screen.

But before he could, a pair of hands was pulling him forward into a kiss.  Trevor was kissing him.  Deke couldn't believe it, he could burst with happiness.

Everything in his life was finally going right.

"What happened here?"  Trevor's voice was soft in the dead of night.  He was playing with the fingers on Dekes right hand, where there was still a scar on his wrist that would never heal.  Dekes hand was gone as soon as he comprehended the question.

"It's a really long story."  He said quietly, as if he was scared to disturb the universe.  "I don't think you'll believe me if I told you."

Trevor shifted to look into those bright green eyes, almost radiant in the darkness.  "I'd believe anything you tell me."

And Deke could see something in his boyfriends eyes, hear it in his voice; truth.  Deke had always been able to tell when someone was lying to him, and Trevor wasn't lying. 

So he told his story.  It was the first time he'd talked about it since he left the Lighthouse.  It felt so freeing to reveal all the baggage and trauma to the night, that he didn't care if Trevor thought he was crazy and left.

But Trevor just listened.  He listened and didn't interrupt.  When Deke finished talking, they both stayed silent. 

It was that night, that night would haunt his future.

Deke started opening up to Trevor more, about things that reminded him of the future, about how much he missed his grandparents, how much he missed most of the people in SHIELD.

Deke trusted Trevor more than anyone in his life.  But trust is a fickle, delicate, fragile thing.

His friend Sequoia came to get boba tea with him, and commented on her model in the game when she brought him out of the simulation.

"I'm still so honored that you chose me to be the sexy damsel, I love it."  She was smiling at the monitors before looking down at her phone.

"Sweet raid, babe!"  Trevor got up from his chair and grabbed Dekes hand.  "And the rendering on that blue guy was awesome!"

"Your boy's a visionary."  Sequoia told Trevor.  Deke said something modest and the three of them started walking.

She started recording part of Dekes inspirational speech, and the three of them were almost at the exit for their tea.

But then Kaya had him test something and Lindsay was telling them that a meeting was starting two hours early.  So Deke had to send Sequoia for the boba and got ready to bullshit his way through a meeting.

And the meeting was with Coulson, but that man wasn't Coulson and he was pulling a knife.  Deke stabbed the Not-Coulson and ran, and then Ray got shot and chaos erupted. 

Deke was crouched behind a table in the main computer lab, saying something to Not-Coulson, trying to come up with a plan, when a hand clamped over his mouth.  He would have fought, but it was Trevor.  He relaxed.

"On my signal, make for the northwest exit."  Trevor's voice was completely calm.  "Keep moving forward, don't look back.  I called for extract.  I got your six."  He removed his hand.

It clicked in Dekes head.  "Who are you?"

Something clicked and a high pitch whine sounded.  "Trevor Kahn, agent of SHIELD."

That wasn't the answer he was looking for, but before Deke could say that, the flash bang went off and he was being shoved and they were running.

They slowed down when they got out of the building, and Deke could finally piece together a sentence:  "You were SHIELD this entire time?"

"Did you really think we were gonna let you rip off all our tech?"  That answer, and the implications behind it, hurt.  Deke couldn't say anything to that.

When they got on the jet, May's words cut even deeper.  "Trouble with your babysitting assignment?"

Everything made sense.  Looking back on their entire relationship, Deke scolded himself for not realizing it sooner.  So much for knowing when someone is lying to him.

He would have sat silently in the Quint-Jet and thought about all the small moments in his relationship forever, but then Sequoia called him to ask where he was. She was inside that building with the crazy people and SHIELD team.

Deke grabbed a bulletproof vest and an ICER gun. He'd already lost one person today, he wouldnt lose another.

"You should get that checked out." Trevor told him, after Deke unloaded his whole clip to quell the anger in his chest. He didn't respond, only told Mack that he had a plan and started off down the hallway.

The flight back to the Lighthouse was full of small conversation, but Deke was silent. He was still trying to figure out which parts of the last year were real and which were a result of SHIELD. Our date to the escape room, was added to that list.

The jet landed in the hanger, and Deke stayed where he was. Even when everyone else walked off, he stayed in that seat, still thinking over the last year of his life.

When he finally stood up, an eternity later, he wanted to go to his room and sleep for an even longer eternity. He started walking down the ramp. A hand grabbed his arm.

Instinct kicked in and Deke spun around, grabbed the offending wrist and wrenched it away from his arm. But the other person was a trained SHIELD agent.

The other person had Deke flat on his back and seeing stars in seconds. He finally saw the face looming above and-

It's Trevor.

"Get off of me."

"I want to talk to you." Trevor didn't move. This was a position they had been in countless times in the past, but it was so different this time.

"Get off." Deke repeated, a request that fell on deaf ears.

"I want to explain myself." Trevor said. "I-"

Deke kicked out one of Trevor's legs and pushed him away. "You don't have to explain anything to me, Agent Kahn." The title was split out like it was a poison. "I understand."

"No, you don't-"

"You pretended to like me for a year for an assignment." Deke scoffed and stood up. "And you pretended to love me. You listened to me for a year, you learned everything there is to know about me for a report." As he said the words, he finally started to believe them. The betrayal was finally sinking in. "Am I close?"

Trevor didn't say anything. He looked almost desperate and sad.

Deke scoffed again, turning away to hide damp eyes.

"Well, you don't have to pretend anymore."

daniel and daisy aren’t even bad. in another world i’m sure i would actually like them. i just think it’s so obvious that they pulled him out of time JUST to tie up all plotholes left behind by steve’s ending. i think it’s been time for daisy to move on, she has had the time i’m sure she’s ready. but daniel got pulled out his time what feel like only a week ago? he was still excited and seemingly in love or into peggy when he first came on. when he’s talking to coulson on the train & coulson references his relationship w may daniel makes a comment abt having his relationship being pulled apart by work or something. if the thing standing in the way of being w someone is bc they had to move for work which is what it seemed like then there is still LOVE there? then when they actually pull him out of time? he wishes he could say bye to people obviously one of those people have to be peggy. he mentions her being targeted later too so he still cares about her but that much is obvious. you’re telling me if work and distance wouldn’t have interfered they wouldn’t be together? i don’t believe it. anyone who says the relationship wasn’t rushed is lying to themselves. it WAS. that’s the truth and there’s nothing wrong with that. but it did happen suddenly over the span of like 3 episodes. bc you can’t even lie and say they were able to build up on it so quickly. it FULLY actually started when they were taken and daisy tortured. even CHLOE has said in lily’s livestream that she can’t lie and say that there was much of a buildup, she still likes the pairing ofc. but she sees the truth.

Hey I read through like everything and I couldn’t find this one and I’ve been dying for FOREVER to find it: it’s basically where Bucky works as a tech guy and Steve is told by his PR team that he needs to date somebody so he starts fake dating Bucky. He goes back to buckys house after a while and his family (mom dad and 2 sisters) is all super smart but not very good people. It’s modern day. Hopefully this helps and thanks so much!

aos s1 script doctor

so i rewatched s1 for the first time since 2014 and i have some Thoughts

start of season 1 - so much potential, then just... wasted!!

i know this isn't exactly aos' fault because they had to comply with the marvel movie canon, but the whole 'shield is hydra' should have been a plot for s2, with s1 just focusing on centipede as the main threat - building up the team properly, only to have ward betray them in s2?? much better

they should only get to use the 'speak english please!!' joke for fitzsimmons Once

skye supports shield because of her desire to belong, yet this completely goes against her hacktivist / freedom of information roots - instead, she should tie her sense of belonging to her new family, which is encompassed in shield. she doesn't need a badge to belong, she just wants to be accepted by them

instead of having the team building elements be at the end of the ep, they're integrated into the episode, with team building / relationships being made the heart of the show

instead of conversations just being used to further the plot of an episode or future romantic relationships, the characters have conversations with eachother that build up unique relationships between characters - the closest the show ever came was coulson and skye

(then maybe when jemma says she cant imagine life without skye, despite having had almost 0 one on one interactions with her, it'll feel a little more genuine)

less of setting up coulsons death plot. like man, s1 had so much coulson freaking out, it got a bit much - like skye went through a broadly similar thing and she got one line of going 'no biggie'

fitzsimmons isnt romantic - instead, fitz is crushing on jemma and jemma doesnt feel the same way. whilst fitz is upset, he eventually gets over it as he values jemma so deeply as a friend and colleague

or failing that, fitz isnt such a creep about jemma and literally any other man. he's so possessive over her and thats portrayed as ... romantic??

if you're gonna redeem ward in later seasons, maybe dont have him do such unforgivably awful things. i genuinely cant tell if they did the whole sad backstory / abused by garrett to explain his actions or explain them away ...

like he throws fitzsimmons in the sea!!! thats pretty much Unredeemable!!

also the season spends way to much time with may supporting coulson, simmons supporting fitz and skye supporting ward, which creates space for the men to articulate their pain and the women to have theirs ignored. so maybe ... less of that

The Russo Bros ruined me the MCU

Listen here, before this Endgame shit, I was able to happily watched whatever Tony movie they were putting on TV, or play any Iron Man movie (mostly IM3) or Homecoming when I felt like it. Just for fun. Just to see my Pepperony, and my baby Tony being happy with his fam. To hava a good time.

Now, and like Peter on the new FFH trailer, wherever I go, I see Tony's face. On instagram, on twitter, here... I see edits, and fanarts, and fanfics... All of them mostly sad. Remembering what happened in Endgame.

And I can't deal with it. It's been two whole weeks since I have seen the movie (just once, cause I cant see it again anytime soon). And I'm not able to watch an MCU film like I used to.

For instance, in my country (Spain), a TV channel decided that on this thrusday they would play Avengers and on friday, they would go with AoU. I did a post two days ago about how I fucking broke when I saw Tony and Pep being happy, having a date before Coulson interrupted them, and then Tony's "Agent Romanoff, you miss me?" made me fucking sob for the both of them, cause they didnt deserve it. Then, I changed the channel. And -because I'm a fucking masochist- I tried watching AoU yesterday... Spoiler alert, it didn't go well. I made it throught that one tho, until Tony wanting to retire with Pep on a farm made me think of Endgame again and, again, I cried.

Are you happy with this, Russos? Seriously?

(I don't suffer from any mental illness nor anxiety, but I'm going to say this point anyway) Let's better not talk about how Tony was -literally- a role model to all the people that looked up to him because he had a mental illness and he still woke up every morning, feeling like shit, and still tried to do better. Is that what you wanted to say to them? That if you have a mental illness, you will only rest when you are dead? That you won't get better? (This can go for Nat too)

I was happy seeing Tony's movies. Now I'm not. I feel fooled, and empty, and sad, and... fucking mad about it.

You guys even lied to the cast and told them it was a wedding. WTF is wrong with you two?!

I... listen, I love Chris Evans, he's great. But I can't fucking stand Steve Rogers. I couldn't before, but now I just can't fucking see his face without feeling hatred. The Russo Brothers and M&M (don't know their names, and I dont care really) just went all for it and sucked on Steve's dick over and over again, forgetting every fucking thing the characters had done or said before on previous films. The can't see over their precious Steve Rogers. (In AoU he literally says he's over with the family and domestic life... WTF changed?!)

I know Tony's story had to end. Mainly because Robert wanted to moved on. And while it would have been sad, I understand it. And I can't wait to see his new projects not Tony/MCU related. But they could have finished his story with a happily ever after, you know.

I KNOW TONY WOULD NOT REST IF HE WERE ALIVE AND PETER OR THE WORLD OR WHATEVER WERE ON DANGER, THATS NOT HIM. But, I would have liked his ending to be happy, with Morgan, back at home. Maybe his arm being fucked up, or with not arm at all like Bucky, and half of his face being burned. But alive. Able to tuck in his daughter at nights, to tell her that he loves her 3000 in person every single day for the rest of her life. Able to spend time with Peter, after 5 years were robbed from them. Able to sass with Rhodey, to joke with Happy about being forehead of security, and to snuggle Pep at nights, leaving her only 12% of the bed while being the little spoon.

But no, instead we got an orphaned little girl (who, even if he is famous, will not remember half of the things she used to do with her dad), a widow, two best friends (that are more like brothers) without the man that they silently swore to protect at all cost since the day they met him, a teenager with his third father figure dead and another teen without a second father figure (because Tony kept contact with Harley ofc)...

All while the perfect, selfless Captain America goes back in time and takes Peggy's life away from her, and leaves his beautiful Bucky behind after literally going rogue for him. He has the fucking nerve to do all of that after just saw the funeral of the man that gave him (all of them) a future, and just after seeing his loved ones broken, holding each other for comfort. After seeing Morgan (a five year old kid) attending her daddy's funeral, even if she doesnt quite understand whats happening, why is everyone so sad, or where is he and when is he coming back to play with her.

Sorry, I need to calm down. Pardon the long post. But I just need to get all of this out of my chest.

So... I have decided that the TSCU is: IM 1, 2, Avengers, IM3, AoU, Civil War and Homecoming. Morgan happening after the pepperony wedding, being conceived on their honeymoon, and then the first minutes of Endgame happening (Domestic! Tony, stay at home dad, trophy husband. You name it). The End. 😌
