sometimes you fall asleep on the couch.

it's only natural after a long day. it's closer than the dorms, tucked away in a corner only a few people visit. the perfect quiet place to sit. the sit turns into a lean. the lean turns into a doze. you don't mean to do it, really. it just happens. no one comes back around here, so you're safe to sleep for the most part. it's inconsistent, and sudden, and even you don't know when the drowsiness will creep up and cover your eyes with its soft claws. blink. curtains closed. lights out. goodnight.

always there is a blanket over you upon waking.

and a cup of tea on the table. a hand on your back, gently rubbing up and down. Binah glances down at you, massaging the tense muscles around your shoulders and spine with a hum. she wordlessly helps you sit up to lean against her rather than the couch arm. it's better. she's always better. her hands carefully tuck the blanket tighter around you as she hands you the teacup, cradling your fingers in hers so you don't drop anything. your Patron Librarian tilts her head with a slight, fond smile when you drink- the tea is perfect, as usual. she caresses your cheek gently, more gentle than any Arbiter has ever been, and bids you good morning in the night.

I got the banter where Lae’zel says something overly intense like normal and Karlach is like “you can take a day off every once and a while” and Lae’zel is like “I do not take days off!”

and I’m laughing remembering romancing Lae’zel and in the epilogue you can be like “let’s take some time off after this” and Lae’zel is like “Of course 🥰 I have vacation plans that will please you my joy 😘 we will have a well deserved time off”

its actually not an ask it's an idea that came to me as i was going to bed the other day of an arcane-adjacent universe where things aren't as bad as they are in the canon arcane universe but still there are like tensions between piltover and zaun, right. (but everyone is alive, thank gods)

and vi, being who she is, gets roped into being a 'liaison' between the two cities (by cait, who is the warden like she is canonically in league) so she gets assigned to show you, by all accounts, a nepo-baby inventor from one of the rich merchant clans, who's enrolled in the academy, around the undercity for a day. as a show of good diplomatic relations.

she's kinda annoyed, but knows it has to be her (otherwise mYLO or CLAGGOR will do it and it'll end up being a disaster). so when she meets you outside the academy gates, she's already decided that she doesn't really like you -- you with your prim little outfit and your gold-gilded umbrella, hooked around your arm.

but jayce assures her that you're more than meets the eye, and that you're one of the most promising talents the graduating class has to offer, to which vi only rolls her eyes. but powder wants to get into the academy next year (and ekko's already been admitted for the fall) so she's gotta play nice.

still, she's shocked when you turn out to be way more than meets the eye -- and your umbrella, if you can even call that thing an umbrella, with all it's weird gadgets and tricks, turns out to be just as surprising as you are (there's a thin longsword hidden in the handle, just as a sneak peak), and you're much more capable of handling yourself than she'd initially imagined.

maybe this day won't turn out to be such a drag afterall.

and. the fact that you're really, really cute? yeah. that doesn't hurt either.

Welcome to the game, Daneilla (Danny)Darling! I’m still working on her main-world design, so her Space Riders fit is all I have for now. I’m almost done though! I think y’all will like her!

Anyways, Danny is a young Aerospace Welder and Engineer, and lives on the Intergalactic Emergency Sub-Station: a company, and space station dedicated to preserving life and safe travel through the cosmos. When she’s not traveling with other crews as an on-call engineer for dangerous voyages, Danny is dispatched across worlds to complete maintenance checkups on passing ships and other space stations.

Personally, Danny is a flexible, relaxed young woman with a steady hand and a quick mind. She loves her job, and she’s not working or napping, she enjoys dancing and debating silly questions like weather there are more wheels or doors in the world (she will always say wheels). She isn’t put on the front lines often, considering her lack of supernatural abilities, but her cunning and resourcefulness always keeps her opponents guessing. Her favorite drink is Horchata!
