Qiqi enjoys it when you hold her hand while doing anything. It’s one of the only things she remembers that she enjoys. She’ll hold your hand while you walk around, sit, or do anything in fact. To her it doesn't matter as long as she can remember that she has a person that isn’t just Dr. Baizhu, that cares for her, and protects her. <3

Klee loves it when you let her have a piggyback ride on you! She loves to see things from a higher point of view than her own. She’ll sometimes beg to get a piggyback ride on you, because you’re the only one who still does it. The others deemed her too old (she’s around 8-10 years old) while you simply just let her. To you it didn’t matter how tired you’d get from her getting piggyback rides on you all the time, it was worth it for her bright smile that she always wore while on your back. <3

Sayu likes it when you let her sleep on your lap. She feels extra safe with you watching over her while she sleeps. She also likes it when you run your fingers through her hair while she sleeps, to her it’s comforting. You're also one of the only people who will let her sleep on you for a few hours. The others don’t like being stuck in place for hours on end while she sleeps on them. (The only other who will let her sleep on them is Ayaka; she already stays in one place for hours. Why not have another person with her?) Sometimes you two also sit together while you read (or another activity that you don’t have to move much in) while she falls asleep on you. <3

Collei doesn’t like being touched much at all, but sometimes she’ll get a hug from you or a simple hand squeeze and she likes it. You never force her to hug you or give any physical touch, You’ll only touch her with her permission. Which sometimes makes her cry because she hasn’t felt that comforted in years. Even with master Tighnari, and Amber you're the only one she’s somewhat comfortable with touching her. So please be okay with her only giving little physical touch. (also when she starts crying or is on the verge of crying, and you ask if you can give her a hug. it only makes her cry more from the comfort you give her.) <3

More romantic type of character x reader

Kokomi enjoys when you let her rest her head on your shoulder while she reads or works. She tends to have to work very often, and it quickly ruins her social battery. So when you invite her to rest her head on your shoulder she never denies it. The affection you give her helps recover her battery for the rest of the day. Plus it lets her get her work done quickly and have little disturbance. The people of Watatsumi Island quickly learn after you both started dating that you didn’t enjoy it when they disturbed her. You’d give them the dirtiest glare or be extremely passive aggressive to the “poor soul” that disturbed her. Because of that she’s gotten a better sleeping habit and a bit more free time, with her work becoming more spread out among other people. <3

Hu Tao really likes giving you surprise hugs. Hu Tao enjoys any affection with you, but when she found out about the face you’d get (surprised and a bit of blushing from the sudden contact) from a surprise hug. She found her new favorite way to give affection to you. So oftenly when you're not paying attention she’ll quickly go to you, and hug you tight. She also enjoys when you give her surprise hugs. It's only about once a month so not very often. But the day you give her a surprise hug, that day of the month becomes her favorite day that month. <3

Fischl likes it when she’s reading a book (fictional ofc) and you play with her hair while laying down on your lap. She likes drifting off to another reality while also being grounded in “this one” by you playing with her hair. When you do this with her, she doesn’t feel the need to talk all fancy. With you she’s just Fischl and not ‘Prinzessin der Vertureilung’. (She also sometimes lets you call her amy, mostly when she first wakes up) <3

Ayaka also enjoys it when you play with her hair, or run your hands through her hair. She enjoys it while she works on something or you're both just close to each other, and you start to play with her hair. It can be a bit distracting to her work, but she likes it too much to ever tell you that. She also likes being physically close to you in any way, but she still is very easily flustered. So please be okay with her taking a while to get used to your affection. <3

Keqing likes it when you rest your hand (or head in private) on her shoulder. Resting your hand on her shoulder isn’t normally seen as a romantic jester. So it’s a way for her to get affection from you in public, while no one bats an eye to it. It’s simple and you tend to do it without thinking, but it’s something that she loves getting from you because of that. <3

Amber loves it when you both go on walks around Mondstadt and you hold her hand. It’s a way that she can slowly drag you around Mondstadt without ever losing you. So more often than not you’re both seen walking around together. Your relationship together has been called ‘adorable’ by the people of Mondstadt, more times than you can count. But at least you’re together through the teasing. <3

Ganyu enjoys laying her head in your lap and taking a nap while you do a quiet activity. She only does it in more private settings, but it’s something you both enjoy a lot. When she naps on your lap she gets better sleep than when she does in most other places. Even though she doesn’t need sleep, she still likes it best with you. Every time you’ve caught together like this outside, which is only a few times she becomes a blushing mess that you find adorable. <3

Hoo, talking about not liking a ship in this fandom is so risky but I'm happy to see everyone is sane to hold a calm conversation here! I have a problem with some ladies in Genshin because some just seem so bland like Ayaka and Jean, like you said before. For me Ayaka literally have no personality and (look at the risk) Beelzebub, not the puppet, the Archon. Those two just seem so... uninteresting, before the plot of the Shogun being 2 beings in 1 I was so hyped for Baal because she looked so amazing and scary the type of "don't give me any bullshit" but turned out that was the puppet and not the Archon... Kokomi was in the list too but after seeing her dealing with mental health I began to go soft for her. But also, I do understand the appeal these characters can hold and I'm happy for anyone that have them as their favorite be it for meta or for lore and characterization. And while I do like Zhongli and Childe (because, alongside Diluc, I also love Zhongli very much) I can see why some people don't like the ship, if we're going to analyze Zhongli as a character, we can all agree that Zhongli was pretty much an a-hole, and Childe being Childe would never trust in him again, they can still have little encounters where they eat together but I think this is more so Childe can keep an eye on the strongest and oldest ex-Archon-without-a-gnosis and nag him for a spar with him. BUT may I offer you: Zhongli x Diluc x Childe skjdfnkjnsd O god how I like rare ships, there's always so few people that like them and they're always so creative. ~S

Well, I do my best to ensure people know I would never invalidate their opinions. And ya know... I don't think my opinions are law. So I hope I feel like I am a good place to try and have that discussion. Especially since I also try to make it clear I'm not going to have a discussion if my opinions aren't respected.

I do have a fear that most Genshin women are built to be sold rather than built for their characters. Like Jean, Ei and Ayaka feel like really good examples of that. I'd also put Keqing in there, too. Yes I will forever be bitter about her being a 5-star over Ningquang or Beidou who not only make more sense to be 5 but are waaaay more involved in the story and have stronger personalities.

Like to be hoenst Jean, Ei, and Ayaka. They are my meta Builds. I built them to play a part. I do not care about them. Ei currently is my Xiao battery. Jean is out there to Heal my Childe, and Ayaka is a sub DPS for my Diluc. Though with Ayaka, I can work around her in relationships to my favorite asshole, Ayato. So I'm a little more partial.

And finally, for ZhongchiLuc. I'm not an OT3 person, but It's the only way I personally can see that relationship working is Zhongli and Childe bonding through a mutual love of Diluc. If you want more of my thoughts about it, I'll just kinda... Direct you to this post. Also, here are some other posts I'm making about them, which... might mean I have a thing in the works, but I'm currently editing. (Mod AUs are a pain in my ass)

I read Paimon as being very possibly a child of whatever her species is, and I think she's doing her best and very cute! If she turns out to be evil and fooling us all I will cry about it.

📚: What characters/teams/elements/weapon types are your favorite or least favorite to play?

Weapon-wise I love polearms, and am pretty fond of greatswords. Otherwise, elements and weapons are pretty team-dependent for me! (And catalyst characters in particular are very dependent on how their attacks work--I love Ningguang but am not a fan of a lot of others.) My main team at the moment is functionally a Freeze/Melt team with Chongyun and Xingqiu and Xiangling, and I love the synergy they have where Xingqiu and Chongyun's skills let me keep an enemy pinned down, freezing them and hitting them with the greatsword and then freezing them again over and over (Xiangling pops Gouba in for harder enemies, to add some Melt into that combo). Even as I level other characters, I'm mostly doing so specifically to work into that team (Shenhe to power up Chongyun, Bennett as a battery for Xiangling as well as a healer, and so on).

Looking at other characters I add in and/or am excited about... I would not have expected Cryo to be my favorite element, starting the game, but I just like how it synergizes with other elements better than most! Overload's tendency to fling enemies is a pain for me, Electro-charged is too easy for me to self-interrupt (at least as Keqing and Xingqiu deliver it), and Vaporize is... eh. I'm also a big fan of Crystalize as an effect, so Geo's probably in second place.

•watching ruin mechanisms turn to dust and stonehide lawachurls fall while the fatui skirmishers burn away, she never really think she’d be doing this.

•she’s quite grateful to the player

•though, if she’s just a character (a rare one at that), and her world is a game, is everything real?

•as a rational person who usually thinks through all her problems, everything seemed to fall apart

•is osial’s attack against Liyue Harbour nothing but a piece of plot, for fun?

in her hands were Dvalin’s Sighs and Plumes, a vial of Dream Solvent, and two billets. they looked and felt weird, and so she paid no attention to them, simply stashing them into her player’s inventory, resisting the smell of the perfectly delicious food stored nearby.

•absolutely loves being the battery of the team

•bennett talked to albedo once, said alchemist asking what it was like to venture to what is hitherto unknown under the control of the player

•bennett replied with praise, how the player never let them die, always healing them and making sure they almost never get hit

a chorus of agreements raised from the other three, fueling Bennett’s happiness as they walk into the freezing cold of the Elegaic Rime domain for Chongyun, Diona and Kaeya under the player’s control and boosted with the goulash’s warming buff

•when he’s switched back out, he’s teleported into an alternate Mondstadt, back to life in the game

“where did the player bring you this time?” Chongyun’s head popped by Kaeya’s shoulder, holding a short stack of books Xingqiu said he wanted to read.

“The floating island. over Huaguang Stone Forest,” Kaeya sipped his tea carefully. “the sunset was beautiful.”

Chongyun chuckled. “wait until they bring you to Dragonspine. they’ve made me pose over pretty scenery.”

Kaeya laughs. “I’ll be waiting for that.”

Chongyun bid his goodbye and headed off to Lisa, who was marvelling over the Mappa Mare that the player gave her

Kokomi:As grateful as I am to Albedo, Keqing, and Kazuha, I still feel like that would serve better with a different healer; or rather a more capable hydro. I’m afraid that I’m underperforming. The moment there’s a gap between healing, the team may falter.

Aether: I get what you’re saying, but all three said they were completely healthy. Give yourself a little credit. Maybe you want a more active role?

Kokomi:Maybe…sigh, feeling ill equipped stings worse than any jellyfish. Though I suppose it would be more than a little delusional to push too far beyond my capabilities.

Aether:…..*eyes widened* Kokomi, are you willing to work with anyone?

Kokomi:For the betterment of everyone, yes. Why do you ask?

Aether:Yoimiya used to have a problem pressuring her foes properly and really using all her skills, until Baal came along. Suddenly every arrow became an explosive one and her burst was a perfect set up for Baal to cut loose.

Kokomi:So you believe working with the Shogun is the key to my problem?

Aether:Nope! I think you’re the key to solving her problem. *stands up* Yeah, I think this might work! We’ll call it team jellyfish!

Kokomi:??! I’m….not sure I follow. What exactly is her probably and how can I fix it?

Childe:For what exactly?

Kokomi:For being a hydro user. I made taking your spot. Operation Jellyfish, start!

Baal, Beidou, and Xingqui ran from behind Kokomi and took a defensive stance in front. A small jellyfish popped up in front of him, splashing him. Childe jumped back but it was already too late. Baal had started her skill. A flash of lightning impossible to dodge sent mild jolts through his body.

Xingqui and Beidou smiled at one another as they conjured blades of water and electrifying dragons that danced around Kokomi as she rushed towards their foe. Dawning her ceremonial garment, Kokomi chased down Childe.

Unavoidable hydro blasts were followed by lightning strikes and hydro blades like a storm on the open sea. Childe did is best to zip around the attacks. He shot an arrow right at her but she didn’t flinch! Not only that, the jellyfish beside her healed the damage. He switched to his blades to rush her. She couldn’t attack if he pressured her. He closed the gap immediately, but was then shocked automatically as the source of Kokomi’s healing splashed him while another strike from Baal’s skill hit him. Childe jumped again and kept running.

Childe:Don’t you think the name “Operation Jellyfish” is a bit on the nose!?

Kokomi:I think it’s cute and clever. *smiles*

Childe:*smiles* I think you’re trouble! Let’s see how much!

BXB:(Oh no, they’re both battle nuts.)

Childe watched the garb around his enemy vanish with the lightning and blades moments later. Now was his chance! At least…it should’ve been. Maybe it was all the shocks but the hair on his body stood straight up. A blinding light emerged from his right side too dangerous to ignore. Baal was only a couple feet away, her legendary blade coming right him. Childe quickly transformed and blocked with his electro staff; a smart idea that unfortunately left him vulnerable as more water blades rained down on him. He would worry more about it if he wasn’t busy fending off Baal’s assault while the boy in blue laughed in the back.

Childe:YOU!

Xingqui:Good day! You seem to be struggling? I think you should focus on who’s right in front of you.

Beidou:Hahaha! Aether was right. This is going perfectly. By the three of us supporting Kokomi, she supports you to support our scrappy Archon. Which in return….

Baal watched the glow of her blade vanish. Time to pull back. She ran towards Kokomi with her eyes locked on Childe, who decided Beidou and Xingqui should be the priority the moment Baal reapplied her skill.

Baal:Are you recharged?

Kokomi:More than enough. To think we’d work so well together?

Baal:Hmph.

My rating of all my elecro characters in genshin impact based off of how hot they are, then how useful they are, these are two lists :)

Hotest electro characers first

1. Beidou

I was always into pirates, If I didn't have a crush on my friend, she would have been my gay awakening.

2. Yae Miko

I love foxes, plus I like the way she speaks, and how she's a shine maiden, kinda cute in my opinion.

3. Fischl

I like how her name rolls off the tip of my tounge like "Prinzessin der Verurteilung" and how it sound german (hopefully it is so people don't yell at me for not knowing the difference between russian and german), also she likes crows, I like crows, and she's emo, I like emo people.

4. Keqing

Not going to lie, I know everyone thought she was a cat-girl but it was just her hair, and I thought this too, until I lost the 50/50 with Itto, anyway I love purple. :)

5. Lisa

I don't want to fuck old people so I put her on the lowest.

Okay now Beidou, Keqing, Fischl, and Yae Miko are all top teir when in use, but Lisa's E takes too long to charge, so I'll just rate the top four.

Beidou's sheild is good if you build it correctly.

If you have c1 Fischl you can have oz shoot enemies wothout being summoned, so oretty good, just not good enought thst you shoot an object it's not activating :(

Next is Keqing, she's good at getting to difficult to reach places like when you're into a timed thing and you can't get to the thing.

Yae Miko's is more like a really inefficient battery for other electro users, but she's pretty!

hello hello!! i'd like to ask for an advice about a team i'm planning that has dps xiao and burst support aloy (4pc noblesse). i'm planning to build yun jin as a second support and is wondering who would be best suited for a sub dps. preferably someone that's not anemo/cryo/geo for yun jin's 4th ascension passive

I don’t know how well xiao and yunjin do since she wouldn’t be buffing plunges? However if she’s c4+ i can see why you’d use her and I’m sure you have other reasons

Solooo a DPS xiao, 4pc noblesse aloy, and you don’t want anemo/cryo/geo. That really only leaves electro or hydro. For Sub dps there’s a pretty wide range.

Electro:

- raiden (battery for xiao and great burst dmg, can fill in xiaos ult down time if needed)

- fischl (off field dmg, quite easy to build)

- electro traveller

- beidou (off field dmg, etc)

- kujou Sara (buffs, etc)

- keqing wouldn’t work here because you’re looking for a sub dps. Realistically, she’d be taking up too much time to stay valuable and would just be taking away from your xiao

- Lisa (off field dmg i guess?? I wouldn’t really recommend her here)

- Yae Miko (great off field and burst dmg)

- Razor (same case as Keqing, I wouldn’t recommend bc he’s meant to be played as a main dps which we aren’t looking for here. Would just be taking away from xiao)

Hydro:

- Xinqiu (good dmg, lots of build options, off field dmg, miiight proc freeze with aloy? I’m not sure how often that would be able to happen since I’m not that knowledgeable on aloy)

- Childe (could probably still have a main dps build on him here and just switch between him and xiao as they both have downtime, especially since you seem to not want to have 2 of the same element, so him and xiao are both lacking a battery here. Or, run him as a burst dps)

- Mona (buffs, taunt, can proc a bit of freeze with diona)

- Kokomi and Barbara are kind of a no since you’ve already got diona, and she should be able to cover heals herself. You’ve also specified you’re looking for a sub dps

- Ayato (good dmg, can be played more as a support dps for xiao similarly to Childe and burst will give off field dmg)

I included inazauma characters anyway since I don’t know specifically who you do and don’t have, and for anyone else building a similar team who does have inazauma characters. I hope this helped!! (same genshin anon from yesterday) yes keqing! my first 5 star character. got her from xiao's banner. she's super fun to play. her skill is quite handy to use. im trying to get mona up - i think she'll fit into a team i want to try. plus her personality is fun. THOSE MUSHROOMS. AWFUL. sucrose is fun. her skill and burst are nice but idk she just doesn't ever fit *right* so i don't use her much. yes, your love of zhongli is so fun to me (1/4 oopsies)

(2/4) i wasn't playing genshin back when his banner was out, but it was so fun watching you talk about him all the time. hope they rerun his banner sometime soon (but i doubt it since it wasn't too long ago). I AM SO SICK OF ALL THE XIANGLINGS. i just want xingqui and chongyun from the banner ugh. yeah i would recommend the spiral abyss. you get a nice chunk of primos and if you haven't done it in a while i'm sure you can sweep the first few floors. xiao = win win win

(3/4) i do try to have decent stats. just shove together the characters i like and find decent artifacts and make it work lol. AH the friendships.. that takes so long lol. ive got xiao, keqing, and barbara at 5 and the rest are much lower. and thanks! i am so loving hu tao so far! she's... not quite up to level with anyone else i use yet but we're getting there. she does decent enough that i keep her on my team lol. ooo a claymore team sounds fun!

(4/4) i do quite enjoy the claymores. i think i prefer the polearms a bit better though (rip we need more polearm users). and yeah ): wish there was a bit better way to farm exp. idk the resin system is... alright... wish it was a bit better though. i feel like i can never get done what i want. like i constantly have to choose if i want to farm like weapon materials or talent materials or whatever. and like same diona and xinyan are my only decent shields :/ and yeah the oceanid is.. something..

LMAO those mushrooms really were a pain i remember just going back and forth between mondtstadt, that other nearby town i’m forgetting the name of, and the dawn winery just scaling every fucking wall possible it was truly annoying and coupled with the fact that she’s hydro so you have to fight the oceanid to level her up really makes mona a true pain to level up jfaldkjfds

tbh idk a lot about sucrose i think most people use her as like an anemo battery? and she’s useful with characters like xiao who do better when all the enemies are centralized which is why i kinda want her lmao. but yeah her never “fitting right” is mona for me lmaooo

yeah i think it’ll be a while until we get zhongli back :( the only other character i really wanna pull is scaramouche IF he’s even playable lmao he’s gonna be so far fucking out. i think rosaria is coming out soon but it looks like she’s only a 4-star so idk who our next 5-star is looking to be. and xingqiu x chongyun really the dream team LMAO frozen smashing for days

Raiden Shogun: 5-star electro character

Raiden is an electro polearm user. She’s a great energy battery and can damage multiple enemies at a time. She also applies good electro application while off-field. However, she requires a team comp built around her and she doesn’t have the best elemental reactions during her burst. She’s only available on her limited banner.

Artifact sets- emblem of severed fate

Main stats- 

Er or atk% (She needs at least around 200% er. Energy recharge is great for filling your burst and it applies good bonuses due to her passive. Atk% is good for overall damage and can be viable if you don’t need the extra energy recharge because you have an er weapon or a team comp that wants atk% over er) on sands, 

Atk% or electro dmg bonus (this can depend on which has better substats, which team you’re using and weapons. If you already have atk% on sands and an er weapon, it would be favorable to put on an atk% goblet. If you’re buffing her with bennett or sara, an electro bonus would be better. Er sands for an atk% goblet. Just an atk% sands would want electro) on goblet,

Crit circlet

Sub stats- energy recharge, atk%, crit,  

Weapon- (listed in order of best to decent) engulfing lightning, jade-winged spear, staff of homa, the catch

Characters that work well with Raiden- Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, Eula, Rosaria, Zhongli, Sara, Kazuha, Lisa, Jean, Sucrose, Keqing, Diona, Mona, Venti, Sayu

Talent priority- burst, skill, normal

What are your thoughts on Baal when it comes to playing her?

I think she’s pretty handy, especially in cases where you always found yourself with a character that was just barely under filling their burst again within your rotation. I know a lot of people are seeing to use her with high cost burst characters to give her a bunch of stacks but I’m not finding any real drawbacks for having her with low cost characters; especially if their cool down is short. Keqing is probably the best example of this considering they are the same element.

I’m still getting used to some rotations. Her skill reminds me of a weaker version of Albedo’s but it triggers fast and feels like it hits wider. I think the burst window is too short though. If an enemy isn’t right in front of you or dies then you don’t really have much of an opportunity to run to the next one and build everyone’s energy; so I wish the duration was maybe 5-6 seconds longer.

I need to do more teams with her but I think she’s pretty handy. Honestly if you’re the kind of player that has always made teams that created a constant flow of bursts and skill rotations smoothly, then Baal isn’t doing anything you haven’t already been practicing. She’s just making it easier, stinger in some cases, and helping players that have been bad at it. My favorite characters and all of my teams have always been made with this in mind because I find it fun. (My Eula doesn’t need a cryo battery. I’m proud of that😅)

I’m interested in how Kokomi will play with her. Also if they buff Baal because I’ve heard people aren’t happy with certain mechanics.
