Shayna Leib and Baptiste Debombourg
Shayna Leib is a multimedia artist with who works in both sculptural and 2d mediums with 26 years experience focusing on glass and ceramic. I love her wind and water series.
I would love to try like this falling into a big puddle showing the power of water like shayna.
His projects are related in one way or another to an aspect of human relations: our mistakes, our doubts, our desires, our perceptions of certain realities.
I love his work and how they flow. the scale of them is so intriguing too and would see them in real like.

It’s hard to escape the seductive pull of these decadent desserts, but, sadly, not one of these can be eaten. Each of these pieces from the series, “Patisserie,” by Shayna Leib is made of glass.

Let them eat cake
Anyone who knows me, knows I love cake. I love eating them, I love baking them. I love watching those naff US cake shows on TV and YouTube videos of mirror glaze icing.
So imagine my absolute delight when http://www.thisiscolossal.com serves up the amazing work of artist Shayna Leib who crafted these good enough to eat glass confections.
These aren’t only a collection of truly beautify objects, but for the artist “this body of work started as a therapeutic exercise in deconstruction and a re-training of the mind to look at dessert as form rather than food.” For where these items real, Shayna would be unable to eat them as she’s allergic to many ingredients that would go into such patisserie.
