Finally got the Deep Cut amiibo, and decided to touch them up a little! Not Big Man though; he’s perfect as is. Added some blush to Shiver’s cheek and nose (also shoulder and elbows, but you can’t really see them here) as well as recoloring her eye mask (the red goes over a little too far, but I had to cover the old color). Frye I mostly made her head thing more orange and changed her lip color (they’re not red in game…), also made her nose a little more orange like her ears (but it’s hard to see here).

I LOVE YOUR VERSION he looks like he is ready to commit crimes against nature. And to answer your question- oh my god yes absolutely. Frankenstein is one of my favorite novels(though, Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer stands at my #1 spot) and I can definitely see the similarities!

I think they’d get along swimmingly, though if I’m being honest, I think Micolash outclasses Victor on sheer accomplishments alone. If we accept the hc/theory that Micolash created the Carrion Crows alongside the Brain of Mensis AND The One Reborn, that’s 3 animated corpses(and that’s being generous to Victor- I’m not counting every corpse in the corpse pile of The One Reborn as an individual) to Victor’s 1. I also think Micolash would not have abandoned his creation the way Victor did, he’s a little too unhinged for that(assuming this is nightmare Mico we’re talking about, post-ritual).

TLDR; yes they’re both nerds and they’re both pathetic and they’ve both done horrible crimes against nature. I think they’d hit it off. Maybe swap recipes. Victor can teach Mico how to make less ugly puppets and Mico can teach Victor to grow a spine.

The blanket story...

The fact that, once in his room, one of the first things Wille did was wrapped himself in a blanket, as tight as he could. Not because it's cold, but because he probably felt the need to be held.

The one thing that brings him real comfort... or used to anyway, when he was in Simon's arms. 

Hugging himself tight in that blanket, his eyes closed, Wille was maybe even picturing himself back in Simon's arms... just like the dreams he experienced during the break, cause they were, cause Simon was the one who finally made him feel safe.

Little details like that shows indeed how touch is Wille’s language. It’s something he probably wasn’t even aware how much he craved in his life. Until he arrived at Hillerska, until Simon offered him that. Attention and care... the definition of love. 

And in that instant, as he’s feeling more alone than ever wrapped in his blanket, Wille is probably thinking he’ll never get to feel that way again, Simon and him will never be together again.So cold.

The awful moment you realise WWX was probably on a night hunt with his parents when they died, is just utterly heartbreaking. Just like little MianMian and her parents at the end of the novel, he will have had to accompany his rogue cultivator parents on night hunts.

The trauma this man has been through throughout his life is just tragic. No wonder he can't remember much from his time with his parents. WWX is most likely subconsciously blocking his memories out because remembering them is too painful to recall. This is a very common coping mechanism to adopt if something is too upsetting or traumatic to remember. Similar to LSZ and his initial inability to remember his life pre Cloud Recesses. It's not just because A-Yuan had a fever and seems to have developed amnesia. It's the trauma of what has happened, just like WWX when he was orphaned.

WWX is probably blocking his memories out just like LSZ did when he was younger. Once LSZ had enough moral support from the comfort he received from others, and felt safe enough to address his tragic past - his memories came flooding back.

I often wonder if WWX will eventually have something a little similar, now he feels safe and secure with LWJ by his side. Perhaps one day he will suddenly remember something from his past and be able to hold onto new memories of his parents as they come flooding back to him, while he is held tightly by his loving husband. LWJ softly telling him "I am here" as the other final confronts some of the raw emotions he must have regarding his parents.

How can one person have such beautiful words to say to people he hasn't even met yet and still be so genuine and caring towards? 😭🤧 they captioned the letter with the opening line of 'To everyone I love,' and i started bawling at that but then reading the actual thing I lost any sense of composure because he is so KIND MAN 😭

But seeing you cheering up after being comforted by me before, smiling brightly at trivial stories, wondering about my day, worrying about my well-being, and giving me love for no reason as if it was natural, ATINY, I will bring happiness to your life. I'm so happy that I can do it. Maybe my greatest gift is you.

Going in to see someone this week finally to try and get an evaluation for hypermobility and push for investigation into all that.

Also now have surgery October 1st to make sure my organs aren't fusing together! -jazz hands-

Endometriosis diagnosis time because I think I have baaaasically confirmed it already as uterine tissue Shouldn’t Be In That, Thanks. Multiple... times... yeah.

(That it runs in my family and all the other symptoms are there is another factor.)

I will say, referring to it as 'surgery to make sure my organs don't fuse together' does make it sound way more hardcore and get the correct react because most people don't realize the tissues can actually bond things together.
