Would love to see those reading recommendations. Is there a specific goal weight you have in mind or is it more of a "just keep gaining until it feels right" deal?

Myself, I feel like I could get as big as a partner wanted me, if that means I end up a bit chubby, that's fine, and if they want to keep bulking me up until I'm properly obese, I'm ok with that too. But I'd be just as fine with them deciding I'd look better with a few more meals under my belt and a few pounds extra on my frame. Just keep fattening me up until I'm what they want, and if what they want is a number on a scale, a clothing size, or a quantity of food I can eat in a single sitting, then that's what I'd want to be for them. If that means I get winded going up stairs or that I have to walk sideways through doors, or if a big meal means I can't stand up from the table, or if I'm just permanently a belching beanbag chair, it makes no difference to me.

sure! I have to go digging a bit through my favorites a bit, but here are a few more:

"dragonslime" by shalion was pretty good! he no homos super hard at the end but the rest of it is a great read lol. he's also a great writer in general, but he's a straight guy so any time there's relationship stuff it becomes unrelatable for me. maybe if you're bi tho!

joaquimtheyeen's "it all started with a second coffee" has been pretty nice, though it's not complete yet. anything with a strong focus on character dynamic really pulls me in and this is a great example of it

on that note, lupine (wolfgonewide (I don't actually know which he'd prefer to go by these days oops)) is excellent at character writing. "hooves of clay" was the first of his writing I read and I fell in love with the caart and zane. and he's working on a sequel too, so I'm very excited for that. he's been at this the longest of anyone I mentioned though, so I wouldn't be surprised if you're already familiar with his stuff (his oldest submission on FA is from 2006, and he was active in the community even before then)

I could go on for even longer, but I have work to get done today and I can't spend all day rereading stuff lol

as for my own weight, I'd say I'm more on the "gaining until it feels right" side. I want to find a balance where I can still be active while staying nice and pudgy, ideally. I figure I'll be at my most comfy just under 300 lbs (probably in the 270 range). as long as I can handle going uphill on a bike, I'd say I'm still good.

I'm also trying to take it slow because of that, since I want my legs to be able to carry me as well as possible as long as possible. staying healthy is important!

tomorrow! getting up early to go buy the paper. other than that, i NEED to work on this godforsaken essay, which is due sunday 23:59. yeehaw. yes, i didnt touch it until saturday. in my defence, i was busy, and also the class sucks and i dont really care!

also wow like 3/5 drawings/ideas have been cute. riens just chilling out and knitting while Dalen glares in the background, teyavion and her husband are just being good team buddies while lying in wait for like, Murder, and then larusion and noukei are just genuinely being sweet with 0 caveats. no ‘actually, some bad’. nope! larusion and noukei are just being cute! in what context? unclear! in public? in private? early on? later one? mysteries! problems to solve! public early and private later are good. public early would probably be their meeting at the festival in my head, where Larusion comes up after a performance to chat to the performers! which is cute. private later would probably just be them being cute at a secluded location because theyre keeping the relationship on the dl because eeeeeehhhhh its complicated? nothings really stopping larusion from announcing that noukei is their partner. shit, before Dravulean II married Shalion, he was planned to be wed to the kid of a WZ politician. theres no status or species or occupation stuff in the way. its more about D2 being an asshole and the fact noukei isn’t fully onboard just yet. its not until 414 were noukei goes ‘OKAY YEA IM IN’ mostly because they experienced such a surge of fear/protectiveness/????? after hearing Larusion had been attacked that they caught the next carriage to Sinofis, bearing in mind they dont even live in the goddamn country. yea its only like a days ride but STILL??

oh fuck drawing that latter part, of their... reunion, for lack of a better term (even if theyd have only been apart for like, a month or two? which was normal? like they basically met up every few months and wrote letters). mmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM oh hell yea. mmmmmmmmmmmm
