-The dark urge getting some super fucked up drama trying to break the fucking thing

- Karlach getting super maternal and becomes a milf like she should be

- Astarion literally just being Jareth the Goblin King

- Gale and Shadowheart being actually decent at caring for the egg but are screaming on the inside afraid they’re gonna drop it or something

This very self-indulgent fan comic has been a literal labor in love for me over the past two months. I'm not sure entirely how I can explain it, but Shadowheart somehow makes me feel more like... me, I guess?

Shadowheart makes me feel like someone worth loving, if that makes any sense. I guess this is what people are referring to when they talk about "comfort characters?" It certainly doesn't hurt that her childhood best friend is a trans woman.

For all the uncertainty and pain and loss she faces, Shadowheart's narrative is defined by her search for identity. Getting to be with her along that journey, helping her define herself... I guess I just find it inspiring in my own struggle to solidify my own identity. Shadowheart helps me feel more like a woman.

obviously i don’t speak for all trans bg3 fans on this but i actually really don’t mind that you learn nocturne’s deadname if you give shadowheart the noblestalk. bc even though she learns it then, as soon as she meets nocturne in act 3 she immediately knows and understands the situation despite her memories being tampered with and stolen. she sees nocturne for who she is immediately despite having only the faintest memory of her. to me it just serves to further highlight shar/viconia's cruelty, and more importantly, how even the worst of torture and forced amnesia couldnt ever crush that part of shadowheart that is so utterly kind and fiercely protective of who she loves

welcome to AWWgust 2024! i'm going to try my best to do this, i already had a blast just smashing this out and not caring for overall quality and theming, just writing for the joy of putting blorbos in situations

generally this is going to be fluff focused, but may devolve into smut in later days (as this is updating daily)

Here's another chapter of my post-game, pre-epilogue fic about Shadowheart and Asheera traveling to their happily ever after. Sharran assassins keep mucking up that journey, making it kinda difficult! Ah well, surely nothing terrible has happened to them since the last chapter.

I enjoyed writing a certain pair of motes of light as well...
