i know it's not a perfect comparison but i would like to crowdsource some affirmations that karlach and shadowheart are, as individuals, not in terms of canon relationships, gideon and harrow analogs

this is the only way i will convince my wife (gay, would kill and die for tragic lesbians) to play baldur's gate and our adopted grown-up child (also gay, so deeply into shadowheart that on VK her tav is understood to be shart's canon girlfriend) to read tlt or at the very least listen to audiobooks

Shadowheart is so Harrow coded… you got the religious trauma, the need to be colder/meaner than they really are, trust issues, important forgotten memories and most importantly the admiration of big buff ladies with swords
