The Shadow Broker, thank you for the suggestion @onedismay. Six fanarts, 4 of 6. What a shaped lad. Much teeth. very eyes. I had a bit of an experiment with this one and ended up using a mix of pencil hatching and chalk brushes with an oil pastel paper overlay. I like how textured he came out. (I decided to put the six fanarts grid up at the end when they are all done instead of every time) Timelapse under the cut, cw flashing images.

I understand that Garrus and Shepard are best friends or a couple, but the line "There is no Shepard without Vakarian" is a bit funny since Liara is the one responsible for Shepard's resurrection If she hadn't gotten the body, there would be no Shepard.

I understand the sentiment behind the line, and it's so sweet (especially when you've romanced him). Also, I'm not sure if it's only DLC that reveals Liara rescued Shepards body, so it may not have been known in the original game play. But still kinda funny.

Cerberus doxxing Liara after me2 is so fucking funny to me. Like imagine you're a covert agent in the most secretive and powerful spy ring in the galaxy and learning that your boss is a teenage exchange student whose best friend is a federal agent turned conspiracy theorist prepper.

I do not remember who shared these before to give them credit. They aren't mine, so know that at least. But I saved them at the time because nothing captures more just how MUCH things have changed for her from the first game to the third game.

This is not the frightened young Asari that Shepard rescued from the Geth. This is no longer ONLY Dr. Liara T'soni. This is the Shadowbroker (yes, with a capital S) through and through.

The way she leads the Cerberus troops through the vent to gain the advantage, and then uses that advantage to catch them in her singularity and shoot them? That's not just cunning, that's experience. And when they're most likely dead, she doesn't even hesitate. Make no mistake, this gif set is a straight up execution. And she is so fucking hot, while being so fucking cold.

Moments like this are why Liara is my favorite.

CONFESSION:

It annoys to me to this day that we can tell Legion off for having a piece of Shepard's armor, but we can't call out Liara for that creepy shrine.

I mean when you think about it Legion collected it from a debris field two years after Shepard's death. Liara got her piece from Shepard's body when the body was still fresh when she was in the process of giving it to Cerberus. Legion used what he found for repairs. I don't find anything wrong with that. My Shepard was in the process of getting to know and understand Legion. I always headcanon my Shepards not caring about it. The armor shrine in Liara's apartment was weird and off putting.

i know as a garrus fan i can't really talk and i don't want to cause a whole Dilemma but the artwork for the mass effect board game is pissing me right off because it's so clear 90% of the effort went into liara and then everyone else is just tweaked screenshots and they claim there's no use of ai but shepard's face doesn't look right either or it's cut/pasted off something
