#sth#sonic prime#knuckles the dread#captain dread#knuckles the echidna#just keep thinking of this guy#like if knuckles didn’t have to guard the emerald and have responsibility and discipline#would he be off hunting all the time#also the part at the begging when’re he’s so social and friendly and chipper sounding like would knuckles be more laid back and social#I do think captain dreads like a shard of knuckles personality but also like a glimpse into would he’d naturally be like#what he is secretly like inside but won’t express#the craving for adventure#but also the cautiousness#I do miss how hot headed my boy is though we haven’t seen much of that yet#also pirate rouge I could see as a thing but knuckles the gem guardian was such a fun take#shoutout to monty and Shadlay for the device with colours for this#the shales a mix between the prism shard shape and the emerald shape#I wanted a kind of motif I guess#while I did this they read me like a book it’s so interesting how art just kind of reflects things about me that I don’t think about
