So we know a lot about Keith and the other paladins backrounds, but not as much about Shiro’s. Here are some Shiro background headcannons. There is some cannon time period Shadam in this but the endgame will be Sheith. No Curtis Whatshisname in sight.

Mostly raised by his grandfather who he called Pawaw. (No I’m totally not projecting my own grandad because I miss him). His parents were in high school when they had him. He doesn’t remember his dad because when he was 2 his dad just left, his only excuse being he wasn’t ready for a kid.

He barely remembers his mom, she had the same muscle disease he had and she died when he was 5.. But Pawaw was always there for him. So was grandma Mimi but she died from a heart attack when he was 7.

He grew up in Minnesota, liked playing ice hockey and figurscating and other ice sports. Loved playing in the snow, making igloos and snowmen and snow angels and snowball fights. At least when he wasn’t sick or in the hospital or during treatments.

He’d always been fascinated with space, ever since that basic second grade astronomy class, he was eager to learn more. Read every astronomy or astrology or anything about astronauts or space/air craft book he could get his hands on.

Pawpaw supported him about being an astronaut when he was younger but he was sure as he grew up Shiro would pick a more sensible career, something at least physically possible considering his condition. But nope Shiro continued with the astronaut fantasy.

It broke both their hearts when Pawpaw told Shiro he couldn’t be an astronaut. Shiro was 14 just about to start high school. Shiro wouldn’t take no for an answer, insisted he always destined to see the stars. Pawpaw just wanted to protect him from getting hurt. Shiro argued back that he could protect himself just fine.

Shiro learned how to manage his disability better, doing those daily timed exercises, keeping himself healthy. The more time went on the more progress he made. Pawpaw was surprised but very proud of him. Maybe his son-er grandson-could follow his dreams and be an astronaut after all.

When Shiros 16 right before his junior year of high school, Pawpaw finally agrees to fly to Texas with him to try out the Garrison simulator, and if things go well apply to the boarding school. Shiro’s flying ability reaches off the charts and he breaks most of the simulation’s records.

They go back home to Minnesota for a couple more weeks to bond before Shiro has to pack up and leave for good. They know they’ll see each other again next summer but it feels like letting go. Shiro’s following his dreams and going places, Pawpaw’s watching his son-ehem grandson sorry-leave the nest and fly off on his own.

Shiro became particularly fond of one of the younger teachers, Adam. They got along well together, in a mentor/mentee sort of way. Shiro graduated the primary cadet training with flying colors and continued his studies. The more time passed Adam became less of a mentor and more of a friend. They were equals now, both adults, same rank, working together.

The more time Shiro and Adam spend working together the closer they get. Eventually they can’t deny they’re feelings for each other anymore and start going out. Shiro feels on top of the world like nothing can bring him down. Everything is going right in his life for once. He tries calling Pawpaw a few times to tell him but he never answered. Shiro figures he’s just busy and he’d call again in the morning.

So of course when Shiro gets an invite to his grandpas funeral instead of a phone call-who he didn’t even know was dead, didn’t even know something was wrong-he was a absolutely devastated. Adam being the great boyfreind that he is offered to accompany Shiro back to Minnesota, so he wouldn’t be alone.

Shiro doesn’t remember much about going home or attending the funeral. It feels unreal, like a bad dream that he’s about to wake up from any second. His only solace is Adam comforting him from time to time. Adam is if the only thing keeping him sane.

It takes Shiro a couple months to fully process this. Pawpaw’s gone. He’s really gone. He’d always seemed so indistructable, immortal. Shiro couldn’t comprehend that he could just simply die from natural causes, the circle of life. The guilt almost crushed him. The guilt of not realizing something was wrong, the guilt of not being able to do anything to help, the guilt of not even saying goodbye almost crushed him.

But he couldn’t afford to be crushed. He had responsibilities. He had to be completely focused on his studies, flying, training, keeping himself in top shape, spending his well deserved breaks with Adam. Working was the number one thing to keep him distracted. And spending time with Adam of course.

A year later they put Shiro in charge of chaperoning a simulation at a local high school. One kid-Shiro later learned his name was Keith-made it all the way to level 15, which had never been done by any other cadet student. Keith broke every record. EVERY record, even the ones that had currently belonged to Shiro. He didn’t know how Keith could even focus with the gaggle of classmates chattering around him, some cheering him on, others berating him or complaining that he was taking too long and it was their turn.

Shiro asked the teacher what Keith’s name is and if he would be interested in applying to the Garrison. Teacher said Shiro should forget about that one, he’s a very troubled foster home kid. Shiro kept trying to convince her of the potential of he saw in Keith but she didn’t listen. Teacher kept insisting Keith was juvinial delinquent devil spawn.

As soon as she was done saying that, Shiros Jeep started up and drove off. The kids were all saying it was Keith, who was nowhere in sight. They were just about to call the police and report Shiros car stolen when it came around the corner, all the windows down, radio blasting My Neck My Back by Khia for the whole world to hear. Shiro was simultaneously mortified and amused. The kids were either shacking their heads in disapproval, or cracking up and dancing with the music.

Keith parked the car and sauntered out with a McDonald’s bag. The teacher exploded, screaming about detention possibly suspension and ruining the schools reputation. And Keith is like Chill I just went to get my lunch the car is fine and tossed the keys to Shiro who was having a hard time not cracking up. Keith went to eat a good distance away from the other kids having lunch

• To be better prepared for any emergencies requiring his attention, Coran has set up residence in the hospital basement and has since been declared Altea’s official cryptid. Everyone knows he’s there of course, but Allura has chosen to turn a blind eye and simply ignore the many times she’ll be working a late shift in her office and spot Coran walk by in footie pajamas with curlers in his mustache.

• Pidge: “Oh, screw beautiful. I’m brilliant. If you want to appease me, compliment my brain.”

• Allura, lying on top of her desk and eating a meatball sub: “I think…I should repaint every ceiling in the entire hospital lime green and see how long it takes before someone notices. And whoever finds out first gets a free bobble head shaped like Bob Ross.” Romelle, already on one knee: “Please marry me I beg of you.”

• Romelle, to Keith and Pidge: “Hey, did anyone ever think you two were a couple?” Pidge: “No, because Keith likes to screw boys like a whore on tequila.” Keith: *shrugs* “It’s true.”

• Adam is the head ophthalmologist and Shiro’s husband. (Friendship ended with Shallura; Shadam is my new best friend) Because ophthalmologists work primarily with eyes, that means he and Shiro get to work together quite often since Shiro’s a neurosurgeon.

• Because rings get in the way of surgical gloves, they wear their wedding rings on necklaces instead. (Mostly just because every time someone asks about it, Shiro gets to say, “Yeah, my husband and I wear our wedding rings like this because both I and my lovely husband are surgeons. Yup, I have a husband and he’s wonderful. You should be very jealous.”)

• Adam: “Yeah, you could say Keith and my husband are close. They sometimes have sleepovers, in my bed, with me in it.”

• (Obviously they spend the whole time talking about Lance because Keith needs someone to scream to every time Lance so much as smiles at him.)

• Adam, who is Exhausted: “Can you both please just go to sleep?” Keith, from under the blanket fort he and Shiro built: “BUT LANCE TOUCHED MY ARM TWICE TODAY THIS IS AN EMERGENCY.”

• Hunk, collapsing in a heap on the floor of the resident’s lounge: “Who here feels like they have no idea what they’re doing?” Everyone: *Raises their hands*

• Lotor used to be a surgical resident with the paladins, but he was fired for throwing a scalpel at Lance because he performed a practice procedure better than him. Needless to say, Allura got him out of there quick.

• Matt lives in a trailer in the woods behind the hospital, that way he can just walk home from work whenever he wants. It’s not rare for him to go there after a long day only to find all his friends already there, having broken in and are now sitting around drinking all his Capri-suns.

• Lance and Hunk are at Chuck E Cheese when someone starts choking. Person: “Is anyone a doctor here?” Lance, looking around completely clueless: “Man, I sure hope someone here is a doctor.” Hunk: “……….bruh.”

• Pidge, after Keith comes to her in a panic and says he needs her help: “What is it, are you planning a murder? A nuclear attack? It’s fine, I’ll get on board. I’m sure you have a good reason for it.”

• Hunk and Shay have a secret stash of cupcakes they keep in one of the supplies closets that they celebrate with every time they have a successful surgery. It’s like their own private ritual at this point.

• Intern: “You’re the brother of Dr. Takashi Shirogane?? You’re so lucky, we call him McDreamy because of how hot he is.” Keith: “Are…Are you serious? My brother is a garbage person and proud of it. He sits on the couch and eats cheese doodles while watching Gossip Girl all day.”

"The Eclipse is coming. It is coming for you."

Keith is a Lunaean, a child of night. When he runs away from his Empire to escape his execution, he crashes in Solera, an empire that has been warring with Lunae for centuries. Despite the fact that he should burn up instantly when he steps foot on the land, Keith survives.

Lance is a Soleran, a child of day. He is to inherit the throne to the Soleran Empire but he doesn’t want to, and neither do his people. He has far more interest in the forbidden stars and moons of Lunae and breaking the rules than leading. 

Disguised as Soleran peasants, the two meet by accident in the Kingdom of Corazon. They quickly learn that they are the only two that seem to remember an otherwise forgotten lullaby- one about the rising of wicked witches and an Eclipse that is coming.

Together, the two must work together to stop the Eclipse, or otherwise, the witches will worsen the war and take over both empires. 

There are five major problems though:

1.) Lance is an arrogant not-so-charming Prince who is very distracting and easily distracted. He’s loud and competitive and flirtatious and makes terrible jokes. Although he desperately wants to be the hero his people need, he is constantly drawn to what he is fighting against. Meanwhile, Keith is a mysterious, impulsive, cynical, blunt, and hotheaded rebel who is irritatingly talented enough to stop the Eclipse but seems to only be fighting for himself. He’s terrible with people and can’t seem to escape the past he ran away from. Keith and Lance should be the last people chosen to save the world. 

2.) They instantly and deeply hate each other. 

3.) Lance doesn’t know that Keith is a Lunaean. Nor does he know about his past life as an assassin and the other secrets he’s been hiding.

4.) Neither of them have mageia, the most common form of magic in the world and the form that everyone should have access to by the age of 18 in the Soleran Empire. If Lance doesn’t discover any powers of his own before his 18th birthday, he will be executed. 

5.) The Eclipse may not be what they originally thought and neither may their feelings for each other.

A question:

Has anyone else in the world read both the Leandros brother series and also watched Voltron?  I had an idea for a vld fanfic and associated art that would put the Voltron characters in the place of the Leandros’s series characters but like... I feel like I am the only person who would read it.  Especially since the Leandros series ended with the final book Everwar never being officially published (as far as I’ve been able to find.) And VLD had 3 massive fan exodus’s from declines in show quality following seasons 5, 7, and 8 and intermittent steady fall off from the massive amount of fandom wank that made the fandom one of the most notoriously toxic on the internet for the past 2 years.  I just don’t know if anyone other than myself has read/engaged with both series.  not to mention I only have about 17 followers anymore that aren’t porn bots inactive. and I appreciate you all.  Oh well. So there's Keith and Shiro There's the Vampire mistress Promise Nightingale who was a nurse in several wars and is very rich. She’s Niko’s love interest in the Leandros’s series and this doesn’t exactly track  1:1, so I’m wondering if I made her binary flux, and had her have two names, Allura and Adam, then that would cover Shallura, and Shadam, both are ships that I still very much enjoy.  anyways, Allura The illustrious Robin Goodfellow/Puck who is a satyr but only sometimes. And he is a playboy tease Aka a loverboy. But also next to Niko he is the most capable fighter and often complete with Cal for most kills. Lance Rafferty and his brother. The werewolf alchemist and medic who are the most knowledgeable of how to treat magical injuries and the bodies of monsterkind. But they are also a very temperamental asshole who doesn’t like being interrupted. Also Rafferty’s brother is trapped as a wolf. And he spends his free-time trying to find a way to change him back. Pidge and Matt Ishaiah the literal angel. Who is in love with Robin. And they were a thing back during Pompeii. But Robin fell in love with a girl. And then... well yeah. So they work together but their relationship is tense with a lot of bad blood built on top of old good bonds. Hunk... kinda (it’s close enough) And then there’s the werewolf chick that Cal ends up dating for several books who is basically a... “black-rom” (don’t @ me, it fits) type of deal even tho he has feelings foe her. James Coran can be the ancient bartender that knows who Promise is and keeps her secret that Ishaiah works for. Boom... That basically wrote itself (more or less) So I guess this would be a Jaith, Lunk, Shallura/Shadam fic?  with maybe some crossover as they form their relationships?  but it would probably stay mostly gen? idk It’s a complicated mess and would have to be pretty flexible as it was worked through.

• I decided to do ugly sketches bc I don’t have the same time I had during summer and it will be faster and less heavy for me (I do need to find balance in my hobbies so I don’t harm myself more) so I’m sorry the quality will decrease but I’ll still post silly things’ it will just also look silly ig ToT

•It’s giving me time to finish the first chapter of my fic. I was rewatching Vld the other day and even tho I knew the writing and the narration were weak, I got surprised by how terrible it really was in the first episode 💀 I mean I get why but at the same time… why ?

•You’d probably notice by now that I’m very fond of siblings and familial dynamics, that’s why I draw more of the McClain, the Shirogane or the Holt, to expand their families lore and balance the family they were born into with the family they found along the way

•My point is, I’m sorry there’s not more Klance for now, I love them so much, but I have to build their foundations (their families so other characters) to know how would Klance be treated the best 🤭

Never walking away (Shadam reunion)

They are home

The lions slowly descended around the Garrison headquarters, creating a crowd of instructors and students running outside to see what on Earth is going on. The sky was slowly turning into bright yellows and oranges, as the evening was beginning. They don’t even know how many days have passed since they’ve been here, but it has to have been at least a year.

The plan is that they all land their lions at the garrison. Once they have spread the news of what has happened and the incoming galra ships, the paladins with homes to go to will be able to reunite with their families via car or lion, depending on how far it is. But for now, not one person was thinking about the plan,  because seeing earth, their home is what really mattered.

Shiro breathed in deeply. He was back, after all this time. After everything he had been through, he had changed so much, while it seems like the planet hadn’t changed that much at all. Memories of his and the others adventures in space filled his head, the good and the bad. How many times had he nearly died? He didn’t even know, but before he left for Kerberos he was sure by now he would have already passed away. He had gotten used to the idea, he had to after all. And now living with the fact that he had the rest of his life before him, was so surreal.

But first, they had a war to win. And Shiro had the rest of team voltron to take care of.

He walked over to Keith’s sleeping form, smiling at who he considered his little brother. Keith’s made Shiro swear to wake him up when they were about an hour away, but honestly Keith hadn’t slept properly for awhile, and Shiro didn’t have it in him to wake him up then. Plus, an actual extra hour of being able to pilot Black was something that Shiro desperately wanted, he was still a pilot at heart after all.

“Hey Keith, we’re here bud” And with that Keith shot up like he usually did, Shiro swore that boy was the lightest sleeper known to man. “I told you to wake me up an hour ago! What the hell Shiro?!” “Hey! Language” “I’m an adult, I can say what I want” “Not around me you can’t, now come on, we gotta get out of here”

Keith rolled his eye and smiled, walking ahead while shiro turned back to the front of the lion. “Thanks black, I owe you more than anything” He turned around and followed Keith out, scanning the crowd for any familiar faces.

That’s when he saw him. Adam.

The look on everyone’s face was a mixture between shock and awe, but Shiro found himself only being able to look at the man who he had been thinking about since he left for Kerberos. Adam had obviously changed. His hair had gotten a little bit longer and he seemed to have a scar right on his chin. His expression was filled with confusion but it still held so much warmth and relief, Shiro didn’t even notice himself running. Running to the thing that he had missed the most. He was there, Shiro was running to him like his life depended on it, like nothing else mattered.

As he reached Adam, Shiro felt like his surroundings had disappeared. He felt elated, but the memories of their final conversation still plagued him.

“Adam, I’ve been cleared to go, and... I’m going to, we leave in two days.” Adam turned to face him at that comment, sharply taking a breathe. “Fine, you’ve made your decision and I’ve told you what that means…is that it?” Shiro furrowed his eyebrows, he had expected a cold reaction, but it still caused him a painful aching in his chest. “Listen, I don’t want us to end on a bad note…I-“ Adam winced, obviously trying to not show the amount of pain this was causing him. Desperately clutching onto the uncaring façade he was showing. Pretend that it doesn’t hurt and therefore at least some of the pain doesn’t right? But they were in love. They were… “Is that it Takashi?” Shiro shook his head slightly. Wow, he was really going to do this huh? Act like everything didn’t matter in the end. Like they weren’t goddamn engaged. “No, no that isn’t it. Adam I love you, ok? I really do, and I never wanted to hurt you… I don’t know how to fix this…” The last sentence came out as a sob, and Shiro grabbed Adam’s arm, trying to blink away the heavy tears that were forming in his eyes. Adam closing his eyes, bracing himself for what he was about to say. “Don’t leave. That’s how you fix it just please don’t- don’t…” He took a shaky breath and took a slow step back to properly face Shiro. “I don’t want to lose a year of being with you…to find out you died in the middle of space, not being able to be there…to at least say a proper goodbye. I couldn’t…I can’t deal with this Shiro. I can’t ok? So don’t leave.” Adam was now shaking, trying to swallow his heavy sobs. “I…I’m so sorry Adam I have to. I only have a few years left I…I’m so sorry I have to. I have to go, because if I don’t I know that I would regret it for the rest of my life. I love you, I do, and when I get back we can-“ “No Takashi…just…no ok? I can’t do this. I told you that if you leave, this is over. And it is. It’s over. Now, Officer Shirogane, please leave my office.” Shiro stepped back, hurt as the words Adam had spouted seemed to cut through him like a knife. So that was it then. “Fine, I’ll go.” Turning around was the hardest thing shiro had ever done, and walking to the door was even harder. Before he left he looked back, and locked eyes with his, now ex fiancé. In those eyes he saw all those years spent together. The laughter, the tears. Nervous confessions mixed in with flirty jokes. All the intimate moments they had shared, and all the breathless declarations of love. Shiro turned away, and walked out of that door, forcing himself to leave it all behind.

He didn’t know what to say to him…he didn’t know what to do. After they broke up…so much had changed. Yet somehow it was all just as painful. “Takashi…I’m so sorry.” With that Adam embraced Shiro in his arms, and Shiro felt his head swirl. He had missed this…all of it so much. “I shouldn’t have broken things off, I should’ve been there. I left you when you needed it most and that was horrible of me I’m so so sorry I-“ Shiro interrupted the muffled words with a shush, and rubbed Adam’s back gently. They stood there, in each others arms for what seemed like an eternity, yet when they finally broke it felt like it wasn’t long enough. “Why are you sorry? I should be sorry, I was stupid and selfish and not considering the consequences. It was fool-“ Adam shook his head frantically. “No…Takashi I was the one being selfish. I didn’t even try to come up with an alternative solution I w-“ “Let’s just say we were both at fault?” Adam smiled, and nodded gently. It was a strange relief, but they obviously would need to talk more about this…about everything really, but for a moment, neither of them said a word.

“If it’s any consolation, you were right about the dangers of going to Kerberos…” They slowly made their way to the lions, Shiro still hadn’t really talked to the rest of team voltron, since he did kind of immediately run to Adam after all.   Adam playfully elbowed him and chuckled quietly. Shiro hadn’t heard it in years, and frankly it made him feel almost giddy. Like he was a pining kid again. “Yeah I know about that, did you think I WOULDN’T get every last detail when Sam came back?” “Ah, so you basically grilled him, classic Adam style.” “More like new and improved since I was still freaking out that you were alive after all this time. I mean, the hair and arm is a surprise but still.” Yeah…Shiro wouldn’t mention the fact that he had died and been reincarnated with his clone for a little while…

As they finally regrouped inside the black lion, and the others seemed to not be able to contain themselves with meeting Shiro’s ex fiancé…or maybe even just fiancé? They still needed to talk about that…

“So this is the guy hey? Hmmm…but are you good enough for our Shiro” Hunk walked up to Adam and leaned in close, seemingly inspecting him. “I think he is Hunk, they were engaged remember?” “Keith! Oh my god your so tall now, and you have a…IS THAT A SCAR JESUS!” Adam ran over to Keith, completely panicked as Keith looked absolutely like he had come out of a warzone. Which was completely correct, and frankly the rest of them did too. “You guys have helmets so why on EARTH do you have a scar on your face. What happened to you out there, actually don’t answer. I don’t want to know right now…” Keith laughed a little, “It’s good to see you again Adam.” Adam smiled and ruffled Keith’s hair, a thing that was obviously a habit before Shiro left. “Wait hold on here, so Shiro, Adam, let me get this straight.” Shiro had gradually walked over to Keith and Adam, and at Lance’s comment he gently elbowed Adam. They were engaged before all of this, they had to have some way to communicate internal gay jokes.

“You guys basically have the most iconic love story of all time, Jock meets nerd and become friends. You guys grow up together and end up being the best pilots in the Garrison, slowly falling in love while doing so. And shiro, for some reason, you only RECENTLY TOLD US THIS???” Adam looked over and raised an eyebrow, while Shiro sheepishly scratched the back of his neck.

“Well things were a bit…complicated. And I don’t really think we had a lot of time before to actually talk about it.” Shiro felt Adam shift slightly with the word ‘complicated’. Shiro was right of course, they had broken up and it was extremely painful for both of them.

“Well it is lovely to meet you Adam! My names Allura, and I am from the planet Altea.” Shiro would that her later for changing the subject. Adam stepped back. Sam gave him a quick run down on who the paladins were when he met up with Adam, so he fully well knew who Adam was facing an actual alien, alien royalty at that…and understandably he was freaking out a bit. “Oh uh yes…it’s an honour to meet you Allura. And all of you guys.”

That was the start of everyone’s brief introductions, and frankly, it was obvious who Adam bonded with the most.

“I don’t know how you dealt with him…he’s constantly getting himself in danger I don’t know how he does it!” “I barely know myself…I swear it’s like there could be a big glowing sign that said “don’t do this alarmingly reckless thing” and he’d probably do it in spite of the SIGN!” To be fare, Keith did obviously get it from his mother, so the entire conversation was painfully ironic to listen to. And Shiro was awkwardly hoping to not get blamed for Keith’s recklessness from Adam.

“Ok, I think that’s everyone, guys let’s continue with the plan. I’m going to go and find Commander Iverson to tell him what’s going on, if you all have any friends that you want to reunite with here, do it now. Krolia, Allura, Romelle, Coran, stay in black for now like you guys have been doing. There is a bunch of press and a big enough crowd to last a lifetime, and you guys would certainly be more safe in here than out there.”

Big robotic lions were enough, actual aliens on Earth right now would make everyone lose their minds.

“Let’s go guys!” Adam smiled fondly at Shiro. He really had become a great leader huh? He always was, but seeing how much everyone respected and cared for him…it made Adam proud. “I’m going with you, Iverson is too much of an asshole to deal with alone.” Pidge snorted in response, and with that, everyone got on the move.

Shiro and Adam left the lion, and before they could actually enter the giant crowd Adam pulled shiro to the side of Black and behind the head of yellow, somewhat hiding them from the giant swarm of people who were now swarming Lance, Pidge and Hunk with questions.

“Look, I know things are hectic right now and we just reunited only an hour ago, and it’s fine if you can’t answer right now but I want to ask you..” “Just tell me Adam” “After this has ended, when the war has finished…can we try this again. We still have to properly talk of course…but I’m not going to give up on this, us, again.” There was a brief moment of silence, back then, shiro had thought it was the end. And the break up was one of the worst things he had gone through in his entire life. Leaving Adam for Kerberos was agonising enough, and when he was kidnapped by the Galra…convinced he was leaving him, Keith and the rest of his family for good…it was torture. But he was here, with Adam. And Shiro was completely willing to rebuild that life that they had. It meant the world to him.

He hugged Adam once again, whispering “of course” gently into his ear. They both separated for a quick moment, and then gently kissed. Neither of them would be able to describe how it felt, but if they had to choose one word, they would both immediately say ‘home’.

“Well…we should probably..” “Yeah…” “You know, I still have a lot to catch you up on…” “True, and you better tell me all of it. Every last detail Takashi Shirogane.” “I promise I will tell you about all of it, even the gross stuff.” “Thankyou, I am honoured. And I have to catch you up on a lot too. Like last years Christmas party was TERRIBLE. Lena brought a bowl of sunflower seeds as her savoury dish, who does that?” “Sounds like I’ve missed out on the real important news of Galaxy Garrison…but sunflower seeds? Really? I mean that’s an all time low…” “I know right? We can’t ever let her host it I’ll tell you that.”

Shiro and Adam stopped for a moment, and stared at each other. In those eyes Shiro saw the same things he saw all those years ago. All those years spent together. The laughter, the tears. Nervous confessions mixed in with flirty jokes. All the intimate moments they had shared, and all the breathless declarations of love. But shiro wasn’t leaving them. And as he carefully held onto Adam’s hand, he absolutely knew. He was never going to walk away from him again

(Hey guys! so basically in this lil piece Earth hasn’t been attacked by the Galra yet because I want things to at least be alright when they return home dammit. Although that is most likely not going to happen. I wanted to do a little a little reunion so here it is!)
