Just did this crap.
Before Shiver got Frye's mind to make it easier to conquer the world, they sticked into fight. Frye was sorta scared, that Shiver, after years of humilation, finally decided to attack her like this.
This isn't mod, but mod-related.

Hi DM DOKURO, I'd like to know what Samples, VST's, etc. used for your song Reality Check Through The Skull? Because I'm curious how you made the song from scratch.
VSTs: Orchestral, Massive, Drumkit From Hell
Soundfonts: THInst, SGM v2.01, Earthbound
Kontakt Libraries: Shreddage 2 IBZ (Shreddage 3 Rogue if you’re looking for a more updated version)
Samples: Some really old drum samples that got eradicated from a hard drive failure, the slashing sound effect, an arranged version of “Bonescuffle” rendered exclusively for this song
Effects: Ambience, Fruity Delay 2, Fruity Flanger, Guitar Rig 5, Fruity Limiter, TLS Pocket Limiter (Please use something like Maximus instead; this plugin is way too unstable to use on more recent versions of Windows)

Hi! I really like your music on Bandcamp and I was wondering if I could ask for some tips for beginner singer-songwriters? How do you usually make a song, do you do the instrumentals or the vocals and lyrics first?
For stuff with vocals, I typically approach it like this:
First things first, I work out the lyrics. Typically, at some point in the process or shortly after finishing them, a melody will come to me, but sometimes it takes a bit more thought.
Once I have the lyrics done, I figure out a melody for the vocals and put it together in FL Studio. From there, I add instrumentals - bass, counterpoint, percussion, etc. I aim to have instruments that sound good, but don’t worry too much about it, and lay down some pretty bare-bones effects and EQ.
Once I’m satisfied with how the whole thing sounds in terms of tune, I get deeper into effects and EQ, polishing it up a bit.
Around this time, since I’m going to need to read them anyway, I go over my lyrics again and practice singing them. If any of the words seem a bit “off,” or if I have trouble hitting certain notes, this is the time to rejigger the lyrics or the composition respectively.
To record the vocals, I start recording in Audacity, play the track as it stands in FL Studio, and basically “sing along” with it. I know that sometimes I end up a little out of sync and have to cut/insert small bits of empty space into the vocal track, so keep that in mind; I also try to get all the vocals in a continuous take when possible, but I don’t think that’s strictly necessary to make it sound good.
Then it’s just a matter of polishing the vocals themselves, exporting the instrumental from FL Studio, and mashing ‘em together in Audacity.
Aside from that, the main advice I have is “don’t overcomplicate things;” most popular music seems to have only three or four distinct “parts” at any given time, something I’ve mentioned before, and you can get a good effect by layering multiple instruments hitting the exact same notes/beats.
(Also, try out a bunch of different soundfonts and free VSTs to see what sounds right! In particular, I highly recommend the soundfonts “SGM-V2.01″ and “Squidfont Orchestral,” and the VSTs DR-Fusion 2, DSK Dynamic Guitars and Phutura.)
Best of luck getting started!
